Your eyes were starting to water due to the number of flashes from the cameras that were going off around you. The bright lights made it difficult to keep your eyes open, but you knew that this was just part of being in the spotlight.

Jack places a hand on your arm, slightly shoving you towards the exit. You ignore the yells of your name and continue to make your way off the carpet.

Your bodyguard, who had been standing nearby, steps in to create a path through the crowd, shielding you and Jack from the relentless paparazzi.

"Did you talk to Jenna?" Jack asks, leaning close enough for his voice to be heard.

You send the bearded man a glare, shaking your head. "No. I don't even think she's walked the carpet yet."

Jack raises an eyebrow before turning his head to the carpet, which is still filled with celebrities and flashing cameras.

He scans the area, searching for any sign of Jenna among the chaos. He then turns back to you with a smirk on his lips. "I think you're just ducking her."

You roll your eyes at Jack's teasing remark.

"Please, like I have time to play hide and seek with Jenna. I'm just trying to avoid the relentless paparazzi."

You gesture towards the swarm of photographers jostling for the perfect shot.

Jack hums, his smile widening. A thought clicks into his head, causing his smile to drop.

"Oh, yeah! I talked to Melissa, and she is fine as fuck."

You thin out your lips. Jack probably didn't know she was married.

"I'll tell her husband you said that."

"You know what they say. Don't let your husband distract you from finding the love of your life."

You chuckle at his joke.

"May I say you look amazing tonight?" The interviewer states, smiling as they admire your appearance.

You smile, bringing your hands together to calm yourself before responding.

"Thank you so much."

"Are you a big fan of the Scream franchise?" The interviewer asks, moving their microphone closer.

You nod, your eyes lighting up with excitement.

"Absolutely! Ghostface is such an iconic character, and I love the twists that they put in the movie. It just always keeps you on your toes."

The interviewer chuckles, sharing your enthusiasm. "I completely agree! The Scream franchise has definitely left a lasting impact on the horror genre with its clever storytelling and memorable characters. Speaking of memorable characters, whose is your favorite?"

You pause for a moment, looking up at the sky as you bite down on your lip.

"Uhh... It's hard to choose just one, but if I had to pick, I would say Roman Bridger. I didn't suspect him at all, and his reveal as the mastermind behind everything in Scream 3 was a total shock. Plus, Scott Foley's performance was absolutely chilling."

The interviewer nods, appreciating your choice. "I couldn't agree more. He's surely one to remember."

You nod again, smiling. "For sure. I've always wanted to play Ghostface. Taking off the mask and revealing your plan must be so fun."

The interviewer laughs and says, "I'm sure you'd do great."

Before you could respond with a thank you, the interviewer speaks up.

"Jenna! It's so nice to see you." You turn to see Jenna, your heart dropping at the sight of her.

You force a tight-lipped smile at the brunette. "Hey Jenna, long time no see," you say, trying to sound casual.

Deep down, you can't help but wonder if she still thinks about you.

Jenna returns the smile. "Yeah, it's been a while," she replies softly.

Memories of your past together flood your mind, and you can't help but wonder if there's still a chance for reconciliation.

"You guys are so stunning, I can't even!" The interviewer gushes, snapping you out of your thoughts.

Jenna chuckles, her eyes meeting yours briefly before she turns her attention back to the interviewer.

"Jenna, I've gotta ask. Are you a fan of Y/N's music?" Jenna nods her head, glancing at you again before answering.

"I am. They're very talented musically, and I'm waiting for another album."

You try to fight back a smile, but it fails miserably. The interviewer notices your failed attempt to hide your smile and chuckles.

"Seems like there's mutual admiration here," they remark, noticing the subtle connection between you and Jenna.

You tilt your head, shrugging a bit. "I guess you could say that. Jenna's very talented herself, both musically and in acting."

Jenna feels the butterflies in her stomach erupt as you compliment her.

She's missed you, and she wants nothing more than to reconnect with you. She blushes slightly and responds, "Thank you."

You walk over to Jenna, interrupting her conversation with Percy. "Jenna."

Jenna turns towards you, a surprised expression on her face as she pauses mid-sentence.

"Come home with me?"

Jenna's eyes widen as she processes your unexpected request, leaving her momentarily speechless.

After a brief moment of hesitation, she nods slowly, her curiosity piqued. "Sure, why not? Let's go."

Percy furrows his eyebrows, watching you and Jenna walk off together.

When you arrive home, you take off your jacket and help Jenna with hers.

Jenna mumbles a thank you before making herself comfortable on the couch.

She looks around the unfamiliar surroundings, seeing as you've changed a few things since the last time she was there.

Jenna's eyes linger on a Polaroid of you and her, capturing a happy memory from months ago. Of course, Jenna still loved you, but was she ready to take the risk of getting hurt again?

She couldn't bear the fact that things might not work out between you two, causing more heartbreak.

Fame had always been a double-edged sword for Jenna. While it had brought her success and recognition, it also came with constant scrutiny and pressure.

It's what ruined you two. Jenna being constantly busy due to acting and you constantly being busy due to singing made it difficult for you both to find quality time together.

Despite the love that still existed between you, the demands of your respective careers created a growing distance that neither of you knew how to bridge.

You walk into the living room, two glasses of wine in your hand. "Actually," Jenna speaks up, and you raise your eyebrows in anticipation.

She continues, "Could we sit on your balcony?"

You nod, a smile tugging at the corners of your lips. "Of course," you say, leading the way to the balcony.

As you settle into the comfortable chairs, the city lights twinkling below, Jenna takes a deep breath and says, "I miss moments like this, just being together without any distractions."

You take a sip of your wine, pausing to savor the flavor before responding. "Me too," you say, gazing out at the night sky.

"I missed you."

Jenna's eyes soften, and she reaches over to gently touch your lap. "I missed you too," she whispers.

"I hope you know that I'm not dating Percy."

"I know," you reply, a small smile forming on your lips. "I knew you wouldn't downgrade like that."

Jenna chuckles softly, her dimples beginning to show. "That's hilarious."

A silence falls over the two of you.

"I couldn't imagine being with anyone other than you," you snap your head towards her, your heart swelling with love at words.

She always knew the right thing to say.

"You're the only one who truly understands me, Y/N." Jenna's eyes meet yours, her brown pupils glistening in the moonlight.

"I can't find myself being vulnerable or trusting with anyone else." She finishes off, breaking away from your gaze.

You don't say anything, you just place your hand over top of hers, which was resting on your lap.

Ahh I know what you mean!! It does feel like we know him better, and I will forever be grateful that he chose to show us this side as well. I'm very curious what he'll do in the future. I think he mentioned somewhere he will make brighter songs in the future? Idk I might've just imagined it. But I'm still happy he chose to talk about these things. We already knew how much the pandemic affected him (khm mots:e khm) but I feel like we know even more about what he's been through? Especially in Alone.

Yes, the promos were so good!! I still haven't watched the beat coin ep or the radio one, I only saw clips but I'm hoping to catch up on them soon!! I can't believe it's Jimin era and I'm missing stuff 😩 the music shows were so good??? I loved every performance my god and when he went on the actual shows and we could see him get his awards 🥺🥺🥺 and hobi coming and bringing him big bouquet of purple flowers 😭😭😭 pls he deserves every win he ever got and will get. I'm telling you the year end award shows are going to be crazy, we thought last year was bad when it was bts vs jimin vs hobi vs I don't even remember who was nominated 😭 and now it will be joon vs jimin vs yoongi vs hobi vs tae & jk if they release 😭 the girlies are gonna be fighting for those awards.

I have to admit I actually hated the fancalls akdjjdkska and I hate that Yoongi will do them to. Like OKAY the thought and intention behind them ARE SWEET OKAY. I know what you mean 🥺 with Indigo and JITB I could very clearly choose favorites, and songs I didn't like that much (all of them are really good but sadly I have to have taste and preferences 😭) but with face I really struggled 😂 Not that I was trying to dislike any song from any album!! But I think if I had to choose one, I would choose Alone. No, I would definitely choose Alone. I fucking love that song and love the lyrics and his voice and the message and how I can relate to it and everything. I'm currently obsessing over 'Mayday, get me out of here' overlapping with the 'Day and night' line. But I can definitely say that I resonate with every song. I love his album and most importantly I love HIM and I hope nothing bad ever comes to him and fuck everyone who ever wronged him and I wish him nothing but success 💜 Idk how he can be any more successful than right now but oh well 😭 - 🦋

Yes he did mention that. Oh and definitely. Jimin rarely ever showed us or talked to us about what he was going through during that time except during the mots on:e endingment. God that had been a punch to the gut. But seeing the jimin of today who put all that hurt and pain so beautifully into an album that I'm sure resonates with so many people in so many different ways, I've never been prouder. Him saying that he has healed from those feelings just made me so happy, you know? 🥺 also face era kind of left me feeling empty. Not in a negative way but a 'what do I do with my life now' kinda way. Empty as in we saw soooo much of Jimin during this era that I was like "Ok what now? now that i won't get to see jimin what nowhdjhdj???" which is... kind of pathetic of me tbh but i can't help it bc theyre my constant source of happiness u know? like little breaks in my otherwise dark life rip. I've watched half of the beat coin ep and I'm waiting on the subtitles for the radio show to watch it hehe (although i HAVE read all the live translations). AND PLEASE. The way the members support each other just makes me bawl every single time. Like even after knowing so well how much they love each other, when they do these things for each other, it just makes my heart sob. Sometimes when I'm listening to Face and I'm not doing anything else while listening, I open the lyrics and read them (even though I probably know them by heart by now) and I always choke up. Same, I really hope he never has to go through these feelings ever again :((( he deserves all the happiness and all the success and even more. I'll always wish nothing but the best for him <3🥺

Okay so I’ve got a headcanon for AMOMK:

Baby Taehyung shooting pee right in one of his hyungs’s face.

This is based on my own personal experience that my mother just told me. I was 3 at the time and my brother was only months old. He was laid out on his back on my parents’ bed and so I climbed up because I wanted to coo at him. As I’m doing just that, cooing and lovingly giggling at him, he starts giggling back… before a BLAST OF PEE HITS ME RIGHT IN MY FACE. According to my mother, I didnt even get mad at the little monster because I was too focused on panicking about the pee in both my eyes and my mouth 😔

So yeah. It just sounds like something that months-old Taehyung would do! Cheeky even as a baby!

Bahahahaha, oh nooo! What a sweet story though! You were just trying to be a sweet older sibling 🥺🤣

Baby Tae, Toddler Namjoon, and Kid Jin are all on Mr. and Mrs. Kim’s bed. Mr. Kim is at work, Mrs. Kim is doing a quick load of laundry, and Jin is keeping watch for a moment. Namjoon is napping, and Baby Tae is gurgling, kicking his feet into the air.

Kid Jin: (tickling him) Taehyungie!

Baby Tae: (giggling) (stops kicking suddenly) (looks serious) (looks pained)

Kid Jin: Tae-Tae? Are you making a poo-poo?

Baby Tae: (straining)

Kid Jin: We gotta change your diaper!

He jumps off the bed and, though he’s never changed a diaper before, he’s seen his eomma do it a billion times by now. He knows what to do. He scurries into Taehyung’s nursery, grabs a fresh diaper and some wipes from the packs on the floor next to his crib. He runs back to his eomma’s bed and kneels on the mattress. He carefully peels the tabs on the sides away and pulls the front of the diaper down.

And then, Baby Tae pees right into Kid Jin’s face.

Kid Jin: EUGH!!!!!

Baby Tae starts laughing at the sound of Kid Jin groaning, and Mrs. Kim runs back inside.

Mrs. Kim: What---!!

She starts laughing, but not too hard, trying desperately not to make Jin feel bad.

Kid Jin: Help??

Mrs. Kim: Sorry, sweetie. You’re such a good hyung to try and help!

im also thinking about tae and going shopping for pup clothes, touching the little baby girl dresses and asking the m/c what they think they're going to have, i just love the idea of tae reading stories to the m/c's tummy 🥺 and wetly giggling whenever the pup kicks, the m/c going "i think they love the sound of your voice"

maybe when they're fucking they get super soft and looking into each others eyes and tae is all like "i can't belive you let mommy fuck a pup into you baby, so lucky that i have this with you"

and god can you imagine her extactic smile when she holds their pup for the first time????? tae would litterally not want to let her go and the others would kinda have to be like- "tae? the nurses are kinda going crazy, they need to check on her" and tae's just like "🥺 but my pup- joonie they can't take my pup" and the pack alpha is just like "i know i know sweetie" having gone through the same thing with his own pup and jinnie two years prior. the same little pup thats craneing it's neck trying to get a peek at their sibling.

i bet tae would need to let namjoon and only namjoon check the pup, because of course tae trusts namjoon more than the doctors who tae's instincts are telling her want to /steal/ her pup. ahhhh can you just imagine protective alpha tae and her raging instincts saying that everyone but joonie needs to back ooff, but then one look from jin saying, "it's okay pup, we're fine, they're not going to hurt her." and tae snaps out of it.

tae would also 1000% want to do a photoshoot with her, the m/c and all the flowers and matching dresses in the world. tae would be so so so happy getting her little princess all dolled up in the cutest flowery onesies and pink everything.

im also imagining when the pup gets a little older and how like- her and tae would be best buds? like imagine the little one being like "can mommy make me pretty like other mommy?" or hiding her little face in tae's long hair when she gets shy, and tae and the m/c just loving getting to share their love of softness and makeup with her too and yeah 🥺 they'd be a really cute little family within the pack you know? the little pink possy~

I’m here to scream with you about chapter 35 because I read it yesterday after work, I wrote this and then my dumb brain forgot to send it 💀😂 sorry if it is all over the place I read it like at 2 am and wrote this right after almost falling asleep sjksksksks

Omg first of all sibi, you once again made me cry so much, THIS WAS HEARTBREAKING IN SO MANY WAYS 😭 like how do you manage to write emotions so vividly because why does your writing makes me truly feel the emotions your characters are feeling??!! It’s insane! Especially for the latest chapters the PAIN sibi THE ANGST gets bigger and I just SUFFER jskskskskksks like for real you are such an amazing talented writer!

I did see some oc slander in your asks and I just want to tell those anons “come outside, my fists just want to talk ☺️” because WE DONT ACCEPT OC SLANDER IN THIS HOUSE, especially now that she’s going through so much 😔 like pls let her be unhinged for some chapters this woman’s life and reality has been upside down from the moment she stepped into that damn university, her mind has been manipulated, she’s been tortured, she’s been HUNTED DOWN and almost killed by two freaking psychos (I’m sorry Mimi you are good now a whole sweetie) while her boyfriend just watched, she had to be there for Tae in his grieving so he didn’t loose himself, had to watch him killing and distance himself from her for it (just like Tae is doing now for her), she had to see her whole family almost die because of some magical bitches AND had one messing with her brain trying to end her, and now? SHE LOST ONE OF THE LOVES OF HER LIFE, LET HER HAVE HER UNHINGED MOMENT, she HAD to break at some point guys it was just a matter of time and circumstance, it would be the same if the one dying was Kook or Tae or any of the other members of her little family, she fought Yoongi just as hard for Tae in SA now it’s just a different kind of craziness because she has more knowledge I don’t see it as favouritism at all she just wants her family back complete 🥺😭 I truly love how unhinged she’s acting right now because you know what? I GET HER I too would go completely crazy trying to save my loved ones by any means necessary, I do have to say GIRL YOU WILL GET YOUR YOONGI BACK PLEASE DONT KILL YOURSELF IN THE PROCESS 😭 like the part where Tae found her almost dead in the middle of the hallway BROKE me 😭 my poor boy he must have been so terrified when he found her with her heart barely beating 😭😭😭😭 I can help but think about how terrible their grieving would be if they loose her too, like Kookie loosing both his lovers would destroy him completely and Tae loosing once again one of the only people who bring him true happiness goddd why do I do that to myself😭 at that part where she was “dreaming” about Yoongi I was so suspicious because it was like “this dream feels weird why everything is so calm why is he saying that she’s finally there, please tell me she isn’t dying what’s happeninghhshssjsj” and she was indeed dying from exhaustion 💀💀💀💀💀💀 and the part where she’s taking care of Yoongi???? HEARTBREAK if you look for that word in the dictionary that scene appears as an example 😭😭😭😭

And also Tae has been such a supportive boyfriend he’s for real the sweetest bean that also deserves a break, just like her, it broke my heart when he broke and told her that he felt she didn’t fight for him and instead fell in love with Yoongi while he was in prison BECAUSE WE KNOW THATS NOT TRUE like I know he said he didn’t mean it but I do think that maybe at some point in SA he felt that for like one second and then buried it deep inside to never think it again and now resurfaced as an outbursts of emotion, stress and preoccupation for her that he could control, like we all say things we don’t mean when we are under stress especially the emotional kind 😔

And then Namjoon that motherfucker jsksks look as a Joonie biased Army (my wise sweet nature loving man that acts like a little puppy my love) that shit was so disturbingly hot??? Could you do one for when they’re over at Tae’s family’s house again and his family is seeing how in love they are after everything that went on❤️

Blue is the color of possibility. Open seas. Open sky. As you stare at the silken, sky blue tablecloth draped over the Kim family's table, you wonder if this openness to possibilities is a factor in Mrs. Kim's deep love for the color. You certainly hope it is. But you can't help notice a tiny, yellow stain of curry peeking out from under your place setting's service plate.

"This is lovely," you say, grinning too tight and fidgeting rigidly in your seat. "Thanks for having me over since, uh, since the last time I, uh..."

Only Mr. Kim is waiting, admittedly disinterestedly, for the end of your sentence. Jeong-gyu is texting someone, or playing a game. Eon-jin is staring as she swirls her seaweed soup with her spoon.

"Since the last time I came to dinner," you finish awkwardly.

You look over at Taehyung, who shows you how to take a deep, deep breath. You exhale together, like you do when you've just used your gym coupons from the monthly apartment coupon book. Or like when you sigh at a sleeping Tannie. Or when you so deliciously come together, like you have been, night after night.

Taehyung intertwines his fingers with yours and sets your tangled mini-limbs on full display, resting against that blue silk. His voice is warm through the cold tinkling of silverware and the painful sound of nothing else.

"Kitt's been amazing. Work has been so stressful, but coming home to her? Getting to be with her?" He smiles. "Life's been lighter. Happier. Just... lovelier."

While her son is making such an effort to put on a show, Mrs. Kim is on auto-pilot. "That's nice, sweetie."

She gestures to the white wine decanter in the center of the table but doesn't necessarily tell you to do anything with it.

Being with Taehyung is teaching you to stay more in the moment. Which means you didn't arrive with the expevtation of seeing a bottle of whisky at the center of the table instead. That would have been incredible, a strong indicator that would at least have told you where Mr. Kim stood in all of this.

The white wine, though, is a particularly bad sign. The main course for the evening is steak. Tasteful, traditional, detail-oriented Mrs. Kim couldn't bother to put together a cliche menu for you.

You look over at Taehyung, your gaze burrowing deep into his pupils and clawing for his optic nerves. You do the same with your hand, intertwined in his grip, mini-limbs latching onto mini-limbs. And as Taehyung reaches over with his free hand to pour you a glass of white wine, you use your free hand to crumple the also-white napkin in your lap in case you need to flag your surrender.

After Taehyung pours your glass, he clears his throat and forces everyone to make eye-contact with him. "Y'know, for some reason, I was so nervous about tonight."

Jeong-gyu scoffs.

"Kitt even made a jazz playlist for us to listen to on the drive up here, just to keep me calm," Taehyung proudly continues. "All my favorites were on there somehow."

"Somehow?" Eon-jin mumbles into her bowl.

The fact that it isn't accompanied by some brutal bullet point, like the fact that it would have been easy to grab his favorites from his streaming history, suggests that she might still remember the taste of strawberry shortcake from the Blue Line Bakery.

Blue.

Possibilities.

Mrs. Kim is on the kind of auto-pilot that doesn't even bother to bring up the map for reference. Her eyes stay glued to the dessert spoon at the top of her place setting. "Are you also a fan of jazz, Kitt?"

The rest of the table suddenly looks up at you.

Whenever a crucial moment arises, you've always calculated your way through it. But it is crucial that you do not calculate now.

As you stare at the beautiful, intricate designs embedded in that gorgeous, blue Japanese silk, the answer just comes to you.

You look up at Taehyung and muster as many "sorry"s as you can behind your eyes.

"No," you admit, wincing, eyes crinkling, squeezing those "sorry"s all out as fast as you can. "I just... I mean, there's some jazz that I do like, but... I can't... It's all very... uh, and I kinda have to be in the mood for it when?... I dunno..."

Taehyung frowns.

You hold onto his hand for dear life.

Mr. Kim squints at you. A giggle makes its way, first through his nose, and then through his parting lips.

Jeong-gyu catches it, and parrots it.

And soon, so do Eon-jin, and, finally, Mrs. Kim.

"Well, that's a relief!" Mr. Kim sighs, eating more heartily now. "If I have to hear another soliloquy about Count Basie---"

Taehyung pushes his lips out.

"---I'll have to bust out the whiskey," Mr. Kim goes on. And then he grins. "But maybe that isn't a bad idea either way." He turns to Mrs. Kim and tilts his head. "Let's have dessert and whiskey in the parlor after this?"

Mrs. Kim nods and turns to you. "Eat up," she tells you happily. "Your soup must be getting cold."

You get similar smiles from Jeong-guy and Eon-jin.

Taehyung runs his thumb over the back of your hand, and you turn to him.

His smile is the best of all of them.

It always is.

He narrows his eyes playfully. "We're gonna have a chat about this when we get home," he says, before leaning over to kiss you on the cheek.

As conversation starts to fill the room, you release your too-white napkin and reach for your soup spoon. As you do, you catch the bit of yellow curry on the tablecloth, just under your service plate.

And you wonder if it's not so much a stain but a bit of sunlight poking through that blue sky.
