Gary 🤝 Jocasta
Last Night in Soho — In a library, a frightened Ellie, still in heavy black eyeshadow from the Halloween party the night before, is chased by greyish male ghosts in suits behind her. She mistakes Jocasta for another ghost and attempts to stab her in the face with a pair of shears, only to be stopped by the hand of their friend John, a young Black man. Jocasta is startled and displeased by the act, as Ellie starts to come to her senses.

ok people on the apparent but very rude
envying a main character, which they deny by saying “oh they're just weird”
friend group's resident jerkass
suicide and mental illness are a laughing matter
sex jokes at the ready
they get almost killed by someone they know who was really just scared shitless and driven paranoid from being chased around
