I'm sending a message here on Tumblr because I'm still waiting in the queue for Archive of Our Own... I would like to make a little gift to my fellow symphofans: to post a fanmade translation of your "Will You Be Our Valentine" fanfiction on my Facebook group. On Valentine's Day, of course. With one last act of silver alchemy, a single expert and subtle transfiguration, the device changed from an inert piece of matter to a bridge spanning half the globe. Every light in the city went out. The humming of power lines went silent. A car racing down the road lurched to a halt, its driver flying through the windshield (pity he hadn’t worn his seatbelt) and splattering on the road. Prelati felt the ground shudder beneath her feet. Her legs quivered, momentarily weakened, and she had to take hold of the device to steady herself. The teleport gems wired into the device burned like earthbound suns before all shattering in sequence, tracing an intricate seal, and above it, above the roof of the shrine, a matching seal traced itself in the air. The leaves on the nearby trees blew toward it. Prelati felt her glasses slip off the bridge of her nose and pressed them back in place. And down from the heavens, emerging from the iris of the seal, descended Carol Malus Dienheim. She clad herself in flowing robes of lapis lazuli, adorned with white lace and gold filigree, embroidered with twisting serpents, writhing and fluttering as the vortices of wind swirling around her caught the edges of rich linens and fine silks and tossed them about. Beneath the wide black brim of a tall peaked hat tied with blood-red silk ribbons glared eyes that shone with the unearthly opalescence of moonstone, steel-blue and silver-gray tinged with shades of phantom rose and lilac.

Introduction: Song of Swords

Noise are mindless creatures that kill with a single touch. The Megid are monsters who wish to take advantage of that so they can rewrite the world's story. But there are those who stand against them, be they singers or swordsmen. They are the Symphogear Wielders and Kamen Riders, and how this story ends is for them to decide!

Sympho-Saber: Song of Swords is a Fanfiction Crossover/Fusion between Senki Zesshou Symphogear and Kamen Rider Saber.

The basic gist of the story is that it’s a retelling of Saber alongside Symphogear and all the minor differences/changes that occur when you mash these two particular series together. It’s rather straightforward in how it works, though the Saber side received the most changes due to this fusion basically using the Symphogear world as a base and planting Saber’s characters and its plot elements within it.

As of this post we’re 36 Chapters into the story, have completed S1 and G while also just getting started on GX (3 Chapters/Episodes in currently). There are also a couple of Special Chapters, OVA’s, and even a “Movie” Chapter that add more chances for fun interactions between both casts.

i think a self healing story of a sort would be cool. like a slice of life of the aftermath of an action, and the protag lost their memories due to battle trauma or smth. like i can imagine it starting in the hospital with confusion as the main cast realizes the protag completely lost their memories and it sort of innocently starts off where you don’t know what happened and wonder what happened, and then upon the character leaving the hospital, the first thing you’re hit with is the aftermath of the battle field. things happen where the protag is hated or loved or comforted, and i think it would he incredible to add the main antagonist accidentally becoming friends with the amnesiac protag and awkward feels from the antag and the protag is like “best friends!!!” this concept could really go anywhere but i think a slice of life after a destructive action would be very nice

Chapter 22 of "Building Blocks," the fourth story in my series "Counting Stars." This is the penultimate chapter, folks, so I figured I would signal boost it here.

Chapter summary: Quite apart from their picnics and school, Elfnein and Carol see a lot of each other.

Story summary:

She knows what it is to lack purpose.

The lack of other things—unconditional stability, benevolent guidance, a happy home—causes damage, but aimlessness.... She knows both sides of that equation too well.

But they are children. They have guardians that are not hopelessly incompetent, and they even have a chance for catharsis despite their father's death. Theirs is not an inevitable path.

How did you come up with your fanfictions like for a example super readers biggest adventures and how did you come up with your oc's for your fanfictions?

Ooh, I love getting these questions! I actually have four ways of making fanfic, and these include a little bit of trivia into my story writing processes ^^

The first way is usually the result of asking myself a question. This is the case with fics like SRBA and my fifty million Hanna-Barbera fics, lol XD For SRBA, it was, "I wonder what would happen if I made a serious story for Super Why--one with way more fantasy and danger, with a bit of romance." With Blazin' Trails, I wondered, "Hey, how would the cartoon go if Ricochet Rabbit and Droop-a-Long were friends?" And with The Ghost of Huckleberry Hound, it was, "How would the movie go if Huck really was a ghost?"

The second is inspiration, mostly from reading others' fanfics, but also from anime/games/TV shows. Of course, I don't copy anything, and I always try to give credit where it's due to the authors who inspired me. The original version of The Zula Patrol: Dreamscape Crusade was originally heavily inspired by a Nanoha fanfic I read ages ago which dealt with time travel and alternate worlds, and later elements were influenced by Symphogear. Its remake was inspired by a Symphogear fic called My Sunshine (which had an equally awesome remake) in regards to tone, setting and the concept of relics mixing with modern worlds and the people who want to pursue them. Granted, there's more supernatural/magic involved, but still. And the scrapped Heroes of Time was inspired by a multitude of crossovers, including the exceedingly awesome Shattered Skies (an epic magical girl crossover between five of my favorite Magical Girl series), whose author actually favorited this fic before it was taken down.

Third, sometimes, I have an idea so absurd that I have to write it out before it consumes me. The crossovers I've come up with usually fall into that category, especially if I'm doing a Hanna-Barbera/anything crossover. Sodor Magic Crusaders was originally a spin-off from a humanized Thomas fic I made ages ago and never finished, and originallly had no Nanoha elements whatsoever (in fact, I think it was inspired by Lodoss War). And when I discovered Nanoha, the idea wouldn't leave me be, and I had to write it out.

And fourth and finally...sometimes, I just get hit with fluffy/angsty feels, and want to take it out on my faves. That's pretty much all of my one-shot fics, although some of the longer fics aren't immune.

14 - First fandom you ever wrote fanfiction for? - Mass Effect

18- Most words/chapters ever written for one fic or oneshot? - for a posted fic - 50,242 for Mass Effect: Aftermath. For an unposted fic - 120,000 or so for my My Hero Academia fic that I'm slowly redoing. Now my current big WIP - SREN is now at 35,000 so is on track to be my longest posted fic.

19 - Have you ever created an OC for a fic? - So, so many - Eight for SREN, Three for my MHA fic, one for my Symphogear fic (not counting OCs that I'm "borrowing" from my bestie)

me being like literally one of two people in the world to actually try some sort of crossover between fire emblem three houses and symphogear means i'm basically the only person in the world with the esoteric knowledge that these two pairings are exactly the same and my fic is a desperate attempt to pass that knowledge along to the world

you'll never guess who is which but when you do it becomes painfully obvious
