So, my 3DS is super cute on the outside, thx to my love of Eeveelutions, Kingdom Hearts, and fluffy cats that look like my cats. And it's purple!!!! Because it had just come out when I was buying my 3DS (specifically to play Kingdom Hearts, my curse lmao) and I love purple, so I impulse bought it in class in culinary school.

So, you'd expect some sort of cutesy theme inside, perhaps an adorable Pokemon one to match the outside? And you would have been right last year, because I had one featuring Sylveon and sparkles and pink and etc etc etc.

HOWEVER

I modded my 3DS over the summer so now I have access to custom themes, so if you open my adorable 3DS up you'll be faced with one of my favorite problematic blorbos XD

All those folders with stars are full of mostly Pokemon games, because I modded my 3DS to be able to back up my save files and play every handheld Pokemon game ever. Like...I even legit own at least 90% of them but what if I wanna play my GBA games on the go???? I don't wanna cart around my DS, 3DS, and Switch!!!!

Well he doesn't have a home. Or a consistent place he stays. Emil is on the run? So I guess i'll answer the second half! He misses his king sized bed with the deep red sheets and the black canopy, he wants that back one day. It was so comfortable.

🐁 Capybaras are friend-shaped. What shape does your OC have?

A problem shape.

🌧️ What is the favorite thing for you OC to do on a rainy day?

Preferably inside a warm tavern with a glass of the strongest alcohol the place serves.

🪨 Someone gifts your OC a shiny rock. What do they do with it?

If its a small enough rock he'll keep it! He doesn't have much storage on the run but he appreciates the gesture.

🐹 Which would be your OCs favorite Pokemon? What kind of trainer would they be?

In the pokemon au he's the Cadea Region's Champion's Royal Guard! His team is as follows: Gardevoir (Marceau), Shuppet (Narcisse), Sylveon (Colette), (Shiny) Phantump (Roselle), Snom (Cutest Boy Ever also known as Snom Nom and Oriane), Sableye (Evrard)

🎲 If your OC played a pen and paper RPG, what class would they pick? Warrior, mage, thief, ranger, cleric, paladin, druid, necromancer, bard (or other, if that’s not enough).

I actually played Emil as an Order of the Mutant Bloodhunter! It was super awesome! I think he'd choose a Bloodhunter too! Maybe Ghostslayer though. :)

He'd love video games! I like to think he'd make an awesome fps/horror streamer

Emil doesn't get along with most people due to his standoffish personality. Even if they're on the same side. This misunderstanding leads to a lot of people he can't stand.

(Fantasy) English, French, and conversational German.

🥪 On a scale from ‘burns water’ to '5 course menu’ how well can your OC cook?

He's a 2. On what scale? Idk. But he's a two. he's not great. he will fail at a recipe seven times before making something edible, but at least he gets there.

📚 Your OC has to improvise a 10 minute lecture about a topic of their choosing. What do they chose?

The aristocracy in relation to ancient times.

🪄 Does your OC have any special powers? If so, are they normal in this OC’s universe?

Same sort of thing where allogenes aren't common but they aren't not normal. Emil does later become an 'interstice' though. Someone that lives between living and dead. Who will die but cannot stay dead, forever existing in a limbo sort of state. THAT isn't normal.

🎨 Does your OC have any craft skill, as a hobby or profession? If so which?

Not really lol

Laure usually. He trusts her to be there for him but not ask questions. He appreciates not having to spill why.

Losing his sisters.

When he lost his eyesight + gained his Vision. He'd have struck first.

Leaving his sisters behind. He'd undo it. Bring them with him.

Emil figures he should be dead already, he's thankful every day he gets to push forward and keep going. Unbridled human determination. So he tries not to think of how.

Found the jackpot, I guess? Because I found the folder I kept my drawings in. (Why the Mega-Rayquaza one was outside is beyond me)

I remember that I was never quite satisfied with Leafeon's eyes, so I just kept drawing and erasing and drawing and erasing... I eventually let it be, making it so I never got to Glaceon and Sylveon, and then the colouring.

I made those two after I got a book on how to draw dragons. I should still have that book somewhere. As to why I stopped continuing these, frankly, I do not know.

Then there's Rowlet and Bulbasaur. The Bulbasaur seems a bit off, not that I'd know why. The mouth, maybe? I thought I lacked the necessary colours to colorize them, so that's why they're in this state.

There's also Yveltal Yahvltahl, which I never continued. To be fair, that one was quite a pain in the behind. I also wanted to draw Greninja and Lucario back-to-back, fighting against something, but it never got to the step where I drew that something.

Then there's also the Lucario and Rayquaza fusion I've decided to draw. Didn't go poorly, at least the execution. It's more of a chimera than a true fusion, though, with how pieced together it is. Might need some more refining in design, but the drawing itself looks almost exactly as I imagined it back then.

Anyways, seeing these made me more convinced that I at least was not bad at drawing. Whether one can call it good is another story.

It also makes me more and more curious why I stopped. Like, at all.

Should I go try again?

Okay, the votes are in, who's out?

First safe, Bandee!! They weren't voted on for a while so at some point I actually expected them to be out here, but i'm obviously wrong lmao every kirby fan loves them (oh yeah you get random images from my screenshots folder if you're safe i thought it'd be funny)

Next up, Dawn, she was the first to be voted on besides my votes so I'm not surprised, she's a popular character from the largest fandom here

And Needle is... SURPRISINGLY 3rd safe, I thought she'd go for sure but I guess there's either more Needle fans than I expected or bfdi fans that saw this preferred her over Naily

Now then, only one from each series remain (excluding the oc category as spoiler alert: they unsurprisingly both got the least votes lmao), whoever gets the least votes out of Naily Leafan and Sylveon, is out, and that one is...

...Leafan.

Now remember, these are double eliminations, so Leafan's not the only one out, like I said, Min and ShadowBan got the least votes here so one of them has to be out, but they're from the same category so it can only be one...

so i got an ipad to replace my 5+ year old samsung tablet, and one of the first new apps i downloaded was procreate so i can draw digitally since i havent really done that on my laptop since last year. a major draft but of course i wanted to draw yuki, and the pokemon team i made for him though i still cant draw pokemon…

tbh i think i perfer using sai. i am used to it, but there are limitations on what i can do with layers like not having the folder on multiply while the layers inside have a different blending mode or having a folder set as a clipping mode to another layer or folder. the selection/deselect brush in sai is nice to have too. i havent drawn in a while so hopefully this’ll incentivize myself to draw a little more often

Soda Superhero AU 5k - I AM SUPPOSED TO WORK ON THIS FOR THE 5K WIP AU thing... but I'm only at like 2k words and have been stuck on it since June. Basically the premise is that it's a superhero AU, Asbel is like the city's premiere superhero that mysteriously went missing, Sophie (also Asbel's sidekick) suspects that Lambda's behind her father's disappearance and decides to corner/stalk him about it.

The Fluffy Fairy Eggcident Ch2-4 - WAITING FOR ME TO POST CH2 ONCE I ACTUALLY FINISH CH4 BUT I'M BARELY STARTED ON IT but basically this is my ongoing Bedehop fic about Sylveon and Dubwool having an egg together and Bede's losing his mind over it and Hop's just trying to make everything work

Half-Time - Another Bedehop WIP where Bede and Hop grow closer over the course of participating in many tournaments. Slightly inspired by me wanting them to pair up very badly for the Galarian Star Tournament

TL:DR: I broke up with my fairy-trainer boyfriend

So yeah, I met Liam almost a year ago at a forum for local pokemon trainers. I was talking about how I’d love to go to Alola and that I’d really love to raise a Litten.

He said he was going for a trip there and offered to catch one for me. So we met up a a few times to get to know each other and he seemed great! He was a fairy trainer and a travelling musician, pretty cool. he was also very charming and had a lot of great stories.

We started dating after he got back from Alola and gave me a Litten that he claimed to have caught just for me.

Three months ago, he moved into my house/workshop, claiming he didn’t have any place of his own. It was a big job moving together, I already have 5 fire types and he had 6 fairy types, so it was a huge family merging.

It went pretty well, though unlike me who work in my house, he was out of the house a lot of the time, leaving me to take care of his pokemon. My lovestruck ass just took it as him trusting me, but in retrospect, it was probably because he isn’t used to taking responsibility.

Cut to yesterday when his Gardevoir brought me a folder of papers showing me that he’s been lying about his identity the whole time!

First of all, it turns out he bought 5 of his pokemon from breeders, all of his great stories about how he caught or rescued them were lies! They all had Pedigree papers and I could see how much he paid for each one, no wonder how he managed to get 3 shinies!

He also own a big apartment in the heart of Castelia Unova, so there’s no lack of money there.

He also changed his last name, finding his real surname made me google his family and it turns out his family are super rich, they own like a big stock in Silph Co.

So basically he’s just your run of the mill manipulative Rich Kid that bought himself a personality. I guess it makes sense in hindsight, he was kid of really into the fairy-trainer “persona”

So I confronted him when he got home and he fezzed up. There was a big fight, Liam didn’t seem to understand what he had done was even wrong, I guess I saw his real personality. He even admitted to coercing a poor trainer to selling him his Sylveon, which just seems extra cruel seeing how they evolve from being loved by their trainer.

So Liam left last night, but not before declaring that “He’s sick of this life anyway” and releasing all his Pokemon right there and leaving.

So, now I’m left here with my own Pokemon and six fairy types that live in my house with no trainer, so I guess they’re technically wild Pokemon?

I don’t know what to do. I feel stupid for falling for him, but right now I have to figure out how to handle the Pokemon he so cruelly dumped.
