I had a very hard time picking what Simon Snow quote I wanted to use for this, so there’s some other grad cap designs below the cut that are free to steal, if anyone else wants to use them! You don’t have to, but it would be awesome if you tagged me if you end up using them so I can see 👀

There’s also a little love letter to the Simon Snow series, so proceed if you dare 😆

(I’m about to get mushy, so beware) Picking a quote from this series for my graduation cap was a no-brainer for me. This series has had an insane impact on my life, to the point where I genuinely don’t know where I’d be without it. From first picking Carry On up the week I turned 15, to having to physically restrain myself from reading WS in one sitting because it was my first hard week of college as a freshman, to reading AWTWB in one sitting the day it released despite being on a family vacation. From starting a sideblog, to making art and fics about it with my sister, and to looking through art or fics when I was having a panic attack to help me calm down. To the amazing community I’ve found online with the most talented and kind people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. My life has been fundamentally changed for the better because I decided to pick up Carry On in January 2016, and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

oh cool this totally isn't foreshadowing for what's to come-

ok first of all i just wanna say how hilarious it is that LO sorta sticks out like a sore thumb here, and not even in a good "breaking the glass ceiling" kind of way, I mean in a "why would any of the fanbases for these other massively successful and multi-billion dollar franchises be interested in The Kardashians: Greek Myth Edition"

also I think it should be mentioned that while I do love some of these franchises (Stranger Things, eyo) and am neutral or "meh" on others (IDK I never got into D&D on account of my ADHD but full respect to those who play it , and to Critical Role who literally helped bring D&D into a wider audience !) there are definitely franchises here that have incredibly toxic and misogynist fanbases (WoW, Star Wars, MTG, Marvel) so it's ironic and kinda off-putting to see LO attempt to shoehorn its way into the limelight of these franchises as if any of the people who enjoy World of Warcraft or MTG would be into, again, Greek Myth Kardashians. IDK, could be a decent attempt at them trying to balance it out, but that would only work if LO actually was feminist and not deeply rooted in misogyny and "pick me" storytelling in and of itself.

But concerns of how this plays out aside, this basically confirms the whole "Rachel Smythe Presents" thing is just gonna be them attempting to make some "multiverse franchising" out of LO 😑 buckle up y'all

was going to try to write today but instead i have spent the last hour thinking up tattoos for eddie to have

#so far i have:#stick and poke w on his foot for wayne (the very first stick and poke he gave himself)#those like mostly bone bat wing type tats on his shoulder blades #im thinking a fantasy dragon either winding down his spine OR curling around his hip half on his front half on his back; maybe w flowers to #his favorite lotr quote on his ribs? or like lower abdomen maybe?#a tiny lil d20 somewhere maybe an ankle? or on a finger or something #either laurels around his knees or maybe eyeballs above them #a sword either on his thigh or forearm or the side of his ribs like under his armpit #i also think he'd have some sort of music/cc type tribute SOMEWHERE #maybe a stick and poke CC below the crook of his elbow? As Storm managed to destroy Genesis' Annihilation Staff, the discord spell on the Arakki mutants is broken. However, the Arakko Civil War left its bittersweet note when even though the war is over, it left some casualties. Fisher King had sacrificed himself by allowing his body to merge with Xilo before the latter merges with Ora Serrata. The relatives of the Fisher King - Weaponless Zsen, Khora of the Burning Heart and Syzya of the Smoke were left mourning for him. Elsewhere, Jon Ironfire was glad that his mentor, White Sword was not only alive, but also free from the brainwashing. Somewhere at the coast, the two walking Island monsters hug each other after a fight.
