FUCKIT FRIENDS

So I finally have contributor copies done for the last issue of FUCKIT, and I've been thinking about it, and are we good maybe just doing three issues this year? I don't want to stop, because I'm enjoying it and I think you guys are too, but 2023 was a fucking struggle from beginning to end and I'm probably going to be burnt out for a minute (and again, I think some of you guys might be too), and if we could just take a little bit longer, I think that might help some.

Also, I would otherwise need submissions in like two weeks, or I'd have to put it all off again until halfway through February and then put the zine together in two weeks again because delaying by a month would just leave us with three issues out by the end of the year and just... kind of not worth it, I feel like.

So I'm thinking submissions due by the end of February, issue comes out in March, then submissions due by end of June, zine comes out in July, then submissions due by end of October, zine comes out in November, we revisit maybe at that time if we feel like it?

Thoughts? Comments? Concerns?

Also, and you'll see when you get it (if your local post office doesn't send it back to me this time what is going on with that), but there is no theme for the next one. Where that usually lives is just a page that says basically "I'm really tired, there's no theme, but we're not quitting, so we'll come up with something."

Which feels like it summarizes this whole decade, honestly.
