All this time aka Sweet Disposition (in Louis’ version)
Okay, but am I the only one who is fucking sure that Louis’ song All this time is pretty much Sweet Disposition (by Temper Trap)?? Listen to the arrangement!! Listen to it.
Well, just hear me out. If he did it unconsciously (I think he didn't) then maybe it’s a coincidence like many others. BUT if not. Let me just remind you what Sweet Disposition is all about, shall we
Back in 2011 Harry and Louis went to Leeds Festival and Temper Trap performed there. I’m not gonna say how much Leeds is important ‘cause this post is not about that, but they probably have seen them singing Sweet Disposition on stage.
On June 15 in 2012 Harry got won’t stop till we surrender tattoo on his arm- those lyrics are literally from the song Sweet Disposition by The Temper Trap.
Just another proof how significant that song was to him (them).
April 22, 2012. Harry tweeted Sweet Disposition lyrics.
At the same time as Wellington (!!!!) occurred. So fuck me if I am wrong, but I think this song means much more than we know to them. I just want to point out that when I heard All this time for the first time I was like.... how dare you Louis, because that was so OBVIOUS to me. But maybe it’s just me. Let me know what you think.
What is the most Larry song in your opinion and why?
Hi, anon!
Out of Harry and Louis' songs or just in general?
This is just going to be very unoriginal because i'm a 2012 larrie. If it's in general i think it's either "Sweet Dispositon" by The Temper Trap, "Read All About It pt. III" by Emeli Sandé or "Uncover" by Zara Larsson. I can't really choose between them. Every single lyric just fits them.
Sweeeeeeeet Diiiiiiiispoooositooon i can't listen to without crying. Also Harry's tattoo of the lyrics and his tweets about the song. If somebody finds a way to not cry just hearing the intro to this song, let me in on your secret.
Read all about it is just a powerful song. It became even moreso to me when Emeli came out of the closet. It's 'bout time we got some airplay of our version of events. Hell yeah it is.
And last but not least "Uncover". Larries knows this song is about Larry and Zara Larsson got big because of larries and she knows the song is about Larry for us.
If you mean a song by H or L i'd acually say "They don't know about us" by 1D. I remember my jaw being on the floor hearing that one for the first time when TMH leaked. Like how were they allowed to release that? How much stunting did they trade off? I don't know why this fandom doesn’t talk about that song more often. Is it because it's too special or too painful? The song exists and it's right there.
Weirdly digging that a new Australian surfing show on Netflix, Surviving Summer, is focused at Gen Z but the first episode is soundtacked by Temper Trap's Sweet Disposition and M83's Midnight City, both of which are clear calls to my late teens/early 20s.
I know (500) Days of Summer’s ultimate song is ‘there is a light that never goes out’ (or anything by the smiths really), but honestly, ‘sweet disposition’ by the temper trap is the one that always reminds me of the movie every time i listen to it </33
🎶Sweet disposition…never too soon…Oh, reckless abandon…like no one's watching you. A moment, a love, a dream, aloud, a kiss, a cry. Our rights, our wrongs 🎶
