in fics where luke gets plopped into the prequels i want every jedi within ten metres of him to think hes the weirdest jedi theyve ever seen. he has negative lightsaber form. he doesnt know what a kata is. he handstands when he meditates. his solution to sith is to try and have a chat. hes a political radical who keeps suggesting revolution. you ask him what the jedi code is and he says "kindness and compassion and helping those in need :) ". you ask how he used the force like that and he says some shit about how you are a luminous being limited only by your mind. the councils authority is just a suggestion. he is somehow the new favourite of both qui gon and yoda

My Asexual Headcanons 🖤
For the ones who don't know what it means:
Asexuality is defined as an orientation for people who feel little to no sexual attraction for any gender.
P.S.: Asexual ≠ Aromantic. Some aces don't feel romantic attraction (more known as Aromantic Asexuals or just aroaces) but both labels have different meanings. There are aces who wish to fall in love and be in a romantic relationship (they can identify themselves as homoromantic, heteromantic, biromantic, panromantic, etc.).
P.S. 2: There's an asexual spectrum for those aces who find themselves in the gray area of asexuality. This group includes aces who feel a small level of attraction, those who feel it rarely or only in very specific conditions and those whose identity fluctuates from time to time between strictly asexual and allosexual.
Characters (from left to right):
Obi Wan Kenobi (Star Wars Prequels)
Mary Poppins (Mary Poppins)
Luke Skywalker (Star Wars Originals)
Wednsday Addams (The Addams Family)
Carrie White (Carrie)
Merida (Brave)
Elsa (Frozen)
Moana (Moana)
A friendly reminder this is just MY opinion. You don't need to agree with me, all I ask is respect. Thank you. 👍

I can't stand it when this scene is read plainly as Yoda and Obi-Wan sending Luke to kill Vader. They specifically use words 'confront' and 'face' to convey that Luke has to confront him, and when it happens, he'll know what to do. It's Luke himself who voices out the interpretation that they expect him to kill his own father.
Heck, Yoda even goes as far as to remind Luke to resist anger, fear and aggression, instructing precisely how he should act with his father. And Luke ends up striving for following this teaching exactly.
Okay, Obi-Wan does say that the Empire has already won if their only hope Luke isn't ready to kill Darth Vader. But to me, it could as well mean that Obi-Wan expects Luke to face Vader in a state where he's ready for any outcome. Luke's instincts and the Force are going to tell him what to do, and he has to be ready to follow that guidance, whether it's to kill his father or not.
Conclusion: *stands up on a soapbox* Obi-Wan and Yoda did nothing wrong, ever! (or Yoda maybe sometimes during his 900 years of existence - who wouldn't? - but not in this moment, not in this moment!)

I want more Star Wars.
Which some might say is foolish to wish for, considering the exponential growth and release of Star Wars content since the early 2010s.
If that’s what you’re thinking, my answer is this: our definitions of Star Wars are very, very different.
I want more of the blue light on Luke’s face as his father’s ghost appears before him, of the shifting of the sky as The Chosen One brings the Force to its knees. Of the small smiles of masters and padawans exchanging bows, of soldiers and commanders exchanging salutes. Of Obi-Wan speaking of the parents he hardly met and the brother whose face he’ll never know, avoiding the crack forming in his voice. Of the orphaned farmhand who became the galaxy’s greatest hero by deciding he would rather die than make his father’s mistakes.
Of Jyn and Cassian holding onto each other in their final moments. Of Vader’s birth and Padmé’s death occurring simultaneously. Of clones firing at a Jedi whose pattern is painted on their helmets. Of Rex retiring his shovel, and Ahsoka letting her lightsaber fall from her fingers and clatter on the ground. Of Vader pocketing it years later. Of a farmer and a princess meeting in the woods, speaking of the mother they never knew, buried with their father’s gift laced between her fingers.
To me and so many other people, Star Wars isn’t about people picking up their weapons, but throwing them to the ground. It’s not about the destruction of the Death Star, but the festivities that followed. It’s not about the wage of war, but the pursuit of peace.
“I’ve got to save you.”
“You already have, Luke.”
Star Wars isn’t guns and spaceships. Star Wars is a story, a place, a feeling. It’s something people can’t describe, can’t put a finger on, can’t label or put into a box. I don’t want an action movie. I don’t want a blockbuster. I want Star Wars.

I stopped being so angry at this scene, when I realised that maybe Luke sees in Grogu the same longing he had himself when putting his own Jedi training on hold to go find his friends in danger. Instead of just telling his padawan to suck it up and cut the attachment off, he at least wanted to give Grogu a choice.
(I'm still salty for dinluke reasons and will never forget how much I cried after that episode, but like this it makes more canonical sense to me)
