(and it'll be great to do that in real time rather than years later :p ) What are you watching currently? (also I feel slightly unnerved like I'm interacting with a celebrity xD but don't want to overwhelm you with the notion!!)

2: I really enjoyed your comparison of chemistry between Narbhi and Shrenal. I was just wondering, even though chemistry is just something that is there or not, do you think the difference between their offscreen friendship plays a role in how that 'magic' is created on screen? Like Shrenal seem generally more friendly than Nakuul and Surbhi which results in their being a more sedate, smoldering connection and Narbhi's is hot and blistering?

I don’t know really if the offscreen relationship plays a part; it MAY be a factor of course, but plenty of people hate their costars and still have good chemistry on screen with them, whereas some people who are in happy relationships with each other offscreen look real boring on screen. In my opinion, chemistry is a very elusive beast and the best way to coax is out is with good direction. A good director can elevate even the most trash scenes by guiding their actors well It’s pretty much the fundamental reason Tellywood still exists, coz god knows the material that we have been getting for yeaaaaaaars now is mostly subpar. It’s the way it’s directed (and thus performed) that brings out the magic. (FYI: It’s very clear in Ishqbaaaz, that the best Narbhi scenes are directed by Lalit Mohan, and the best Shrenal scenes are by Atif Khan. Whenever they’ve switched couples, it’s very obvious and the scene doesn’t come out as great.)

3: Also due just the general shift in characters and the relative tiredness of the actors after the redux started, I haven't watched as closely. (Shivaansh wala track tou door ki baat. why did they have Nakuul play him 😖😖😖) So Google says that Sahil had a hand in Shivika's death?

4: I'm having trouble piecing together the story from written updates etc. Would you mind telling how it ended if you know? Thankyou so much in advance!!! It's a pleasure to read your answers :p (And sorry for bombarding you with questions!!)

I didn’t really bother watching the leap in the Redux beyond the first few eps, but (I think??????) Sahil is the one who killed Shivaay coz he wanted the financial gains or some such shit. Can’t really remember how Anika died, but I think she heard about Shivaay and left the house hurriedly and then got into an accident or something? Or died of grief? Either way it was very shoddily written and blah enough not to make an impact on the audiences, who had by then abandoned the show.

5: Oh also, how would you compare Shivika/Narbhi chemistry vs Arshi/ Barun and Sanaya? I mean the writing of the character and the differences witjin the characters have a huge impact but how much do you think the actors affected how they translated the that onscreen? (really like that chemistry post you did, it made me think too much xD) Thankyou :"))

I don’t think I can really compare them accurately (not rn anyway, since it’s been a while since I watched both shows); there’s waaaay too many variable factors for me, but also, like the fictional couples are really really similar to each other, so..... Ugh, I don’t really know. Like, I think Barun is undoubtedly the better actor, but I just like Nakuul’s chemistry with Surbhi more. These are just my dumb subjective feels, based on the memory of the shows. ¯\_ಠ_ಠ_/¯

I am not technically a Surbhi fan but I HAVE to give it to her for portraying the desperation and all the other emotions so so perfectly well! Nobody (not even the previous naagin) could have done such an amazing job!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Wait. I’m thinking. Is the dead body Yuvi’s? Or is it Bela’s pretend-father? There’s a possibility right? If the guruji died somehow, then that lady trying to console Bela makes sense right? RIGHT?? Because Mahir dying and then coming back to life--wouldn’t that be way too miraculous for all to handle???

Oh well. It’s a supernatural show. Everyone can handle everything.

I never thought I’d wait so eagerly for weekends just to watch a television show. Dang.
