Context

Hux. Short version, Hux reveals Kylo killing Snoke to the FIrst Order leadership. Hux ousts Ben and becomes Supreme Leader. Now Hux plans to exterminate The Jedi, force sensitives everywhere and lead to the death of the force. Long version read here.

Kylo as the villain. Adam Driver said the plan was never to redeem Ben Solo, that was a late change to appease everyone. So my big pitch for Supreme Leader Kylo Ren. To me Kylo Ren is what Vader could’ve been had he reached his full potential. A Vader who was never wounded on Mustafar, a Vader who killed a close family member and his master. He is the villain they were looking for, but no they had to course correct.As for what his motivation could be, exactly what he said. Finish what Vader started. Destroy the Light and reign over the galaxy as Supreme Leader. Long version. Other look at Kylo as the villain

Snoke's essence transferred into Kylo Ren the moment he killed Snoke.

Darth Plagueis was a powerful Sith Lord who could influence the midichlorians to create life and also save others from dying. He taught everything he knew to his apprentice, Sheev Palpatine (aka Darth Sidious), but he eventually lost his power and young Palpatine killed him in his sleep. How could Plagueis not foresee his own demise at the hands of his ambitious apprentice? Why did Plagueis suddenly “lose his power”? The truth is, he didn’t lose his power and he knew Sidious planned to kill him. It was part of the plan. By dying, I believe Darth Plagueis was able to transmit himself into Sheev and assume control of his body, almost like an infectious disease. Ever notice his name? Darth Plagueis. Plague, as in an infectious disease. Darth Plagueis unlocked the secret to immortality by moving from one body to the next, continuing his lifespan through multiple hosts over countless years. Ever wonder why Palpatine was so obsessed with training a powerful young apprentice? Surely he knew that one day the apprentice would want to overthrow him, so why train his own murderer? In Return of the Jedi, Emperor Palpatine continually provokes Luke to strike him down. Why would Palpatine want to be killed if the goal is longevity? Because Emperor Palpatine was assumed by Darth Plagueis and, through his death, he would then be able to transmit himself into a new host body. He wasn’t just looking for an apprentice, he was looking for a new body since Palpatine’s body was growing old. Luke Skywalker was meant to be the next host body for Darth Plagueis. But unfortunately for Plagueis, Darth Vader had a change of heart and defeated the Emperor. Snoke was Plagueis. It’s the only way to make things work. StarWars.com describes Snoke as a seeker of arcane and ancient lore, and the Last Jedi Visual Dictionary shows that he is a collector of rare memorabilia. At some point, Snoke must have found the wreckage of the Death Star on the forest moon Endor, and was infected by Darth Plagueis when he came upon the corpse of Palpatine. Did you ever wonder why Snoke thought it was so important to complete Kylo Ren’s training? It’s because Snoke was Darth Plagueis and he was training his next host body. Plagueis didn’t have a choice but to infect a really old political influencer like Snoke. Kylo was being groomed to become the next host body. Remember the infamous scene in The Last Jedi where Snoke is “predicting” how Kylo Ren will kill Rey? Wasn’t it a little too obvious? Wouldn’t Snoke have been able to foresee Kylo’s treachery? See through his conflict? It’s because he wasn’t predicting Rey’s death, he predicted his own. He knew Kylo would kill him. He deliberately bullied and provoked Kylo in order to stir his anger into hatred to further fuel his dark side and lead him to completing his training.

So Darth Plagueis goal would be to transfer his essence into Rey and in failing in that. He will drain the life force from the Dyad to satiate his own life force.

Rae Sloane.

Rae Sloane founded The First Order! Sloane was loyal to the Empire, so much so, rather than allowing it to cease to exist, she recruited other loyalists and they fled to the Unknown Territories beyond Jakku. She founded the First Order. Together with Hux, she could usurp control of the First Order and become Supreme Leader, which would start a civil war, those loyal to Sloane and those loyal to Kylo. We can have someone who could be a great antagonist to Leia. The founder of The First Order and the mother of the Resistance. What makes Rae a compelling character is the fact that she believes what the Empire is doing is right. In her eyes, the Empire is doing the right thing, purging lawlessness from a galaxy overrun by bureaucrats that care little for the common people. She’s wrong, but like great villains before her, audiences can see where she’s coming from even if they don’t agree with it. Throughout her many appearances in the supplemental Star Wars narratives, she is constantly pushing for the Empire to be “just.” When things start to fall apart after the Battle of Endor, Rae struggles to keep the remnants of the fleet playing by the unspoken rules of warfare and is frustrated to see the Empire careen into backstabbing and incompetence. You can see Rae’s influence in the First Order with its strict hierarchy and minute by-the-books stringency that makes Palpatine’s Empire look positively laissez-faire by comparison. Supreme Leader Rae Sloane would make The First Order a force to be reckoned with and what better way to end it than with the First Order’s founder?

The Grysks.

The Grysks were introduced in the new canon novel Thrawn:Alliances. They are what brings Thrawn to the Empire in hopes of co-existing to fight this threat in the Unknown Regions. Grysks are a species living somewhere in the Unknown Regions. Creatures half of myth, whom few have ever seen. It is said that they are nomads, with no fixed home, traveling in spacecraft so numerous they blot out the stars. They are said to be terrifying warriors, overwhelming their opponents by sheer numbers and ferocity. The fact that these intergalactic conquerors are not the main threat in the Sequel Trilogy is baffling. You could’ve had Ben Solo sense they were coming during his Jedi days and made the ultimate sacrifice to become Kylo Ren and join The First Order because he knew the New Republic was not ready to face such a threat. It wouldn’t make what he was doing the entire trilogy right, but it would make explain why he turned and what his motivations are.

I don't really have a explanation for Qi'Ra, but she was trained by Maul, took over the Crimson Dawn and you don't waste Emilia Clarke on one movie that never continued. So Qi'Ra as the villain could've worked.

A Mandalorian invasion lead by Fett writes itself.

I know it's technically Palpatine, but it works better because we don't stupidly retcon Anakin's sacrifice. This was planned, but the idiots that be decided it would be better if Ian played him. So instead this is the perfected clone. The Clone Wars were a test for Palpatine to perfect cloning. Throughout the reign as Emperor, he tinkered with cloning force sensitives, created a lot of failures(Snoke) but prior to Endor, he perfected it and kept it as a fail safe should he die. And after Kylo Ren killed Snoke, he awakened. Palpatine reborn. The movie opens at the end of the war. Finn successfully consurs up a Stormtrooper Rebellion and all the FO officers are executed, Hux is captured and Rey beats Kylo Ren for the umpteenth time. The First Order are on their last legs. Until a message is delivered to the galaxy.

“People of the galaxy. Your Emperor has returned after thirty long, lawless years. To the Sith and the Jedi; follow the Holocrons. We have much work to do. Those who remained loyal to me shall be rewarded. For those who relished in my demise, who celebrated what they thought the end of the Empire and believed their treachery had won them the galaxy…only death and suffering await. The great error shall be corrected. The day of victory is at hand. The restoration of the Empire! The Final Order! The Day of the Sith!”

And it's a race. Rey and the Resistance hoping to stop The Emperor, while Kylo Ren is hoping to kill Palpatine, obtain the power of the Sith Eternal and an infinite fleet that will win the galaxy, but in the end, Rey and Kylo are forced to work together. Matt Smith as Palpatine could've fixed the movie

The final contingency of the Emperor. Cloning Luke Skywalker. Palpatine had foreseen either Luke will kill him and Vader or Vader will betray him. So Palpatine orders that Luke's hand be brought to him. Luke is cloned, but imperfectly. He is just a husk of power, so Palpatine has the greatest minds of the Empire indoctrinate this malleable clone to being the heir and the eventual savior of the Empire. This clone. Let's refer to him as Luuke. Luuke learned everything there was from Palpatine. His Machiavellian cunning mechanisms. Mastery over the dark side and fully believed in his master's will and plans for him.

Luuke foresaw that there would be problems if he revealed himself. SO he created a puppet, Snoke. Through Snoke, he turned Kylo Ren to the dark side and puppeteered The First Order. Masterminding everything from the shadows and after Snoke and the real Luke Skywalker's deaths, it was time to reveal himself.

Luuke's motivations are to bring Kylo Ren to heel or cast him aside, turn Rey to the dark side or kill her and rule the galaxy as his master intended for him. This dark side Luke would unite both Rey and Ben against him and would give Mark Hamill the opportunity to play a dark side Luke Skywalker.

Imagine this about the sequel trilogy for a moment.

Imagine Rey wondering about her parentage, wanting to discover where she came from and why she was abandoned by her parents, and having clear abandonment issues after befriending Finn and Poe. She gets easily over-attached, and often doubts herself and overthinks things. But her heart is in the right place and has a chance to have a better life.

Imagine Finn becoming a hero, escaping from the First Order in which he was raised to serve and kill as a soldier with only a number as a name, and joins the resistance to fight against the very faction he grew up in, if only to rescue fellow soldiers who are still trapped there. He discovers he is force sensitive along the way, and is encouraged by Leia to find and train under the famous Luke Skywalker to become a Jedi.

Imagine Poe standing up for himself and the resistance against a sketchy commander. After Leia's death, he truly takes up command against Holdo and becomes a true leader for the resistance, one his parents and Leia can be proud of.

Imagine Kylo and Rey completely switching sides. Kylo realizes the error of his ways and joins the resistance to make up for all that he has done, to make up the pain he caused to his parents and reclaims his identity as Ben Solo. While Rey grows more angrier and doubt about her parentage and friendships consuming her, which Snoke uses to push her to the dark side.

Imagine Hux staying the terrifying general TFA established him as, showing that he shouldn’t be messed with and staying loyal to the First Order until the very end.

Imagine Phasma being an intimidating soldier who had slaughtered many resistance fighters. She also oversees the troopers in training, and makes sure under brutal measures that the soldiers will never betray The First Order like FN-2187 did.

Imagine Snoke being the next powerful big bad of the series, having manipulated both Kylo and Rey to his side and using them as pawns to get to power.

Imagine Palpatine staying dead.

Imagine Disney had a fucking plan...

Summary: From that moment onwards you did everything in your power to avoid your capture sin hit the more you tried to ignore her the more you seemed to run into each other.

After spending two weeks isolating yourself from the world it was finally time to leave your depression cave and get back to work. You needed to get on with your life and you weren't going to let Phasma stop you from living your best life. Over the last two weeks all you did was binge watch tv, eat junk food, cry and sleep. That was your life for two weeks and you had finally had enough.

A couple of your friends did stop by and check in on you. They did wonder why you had completely shut the world out. You could have told them the truth and the reason why you were in so much pain was because of Phasma but you decided that was a bad idea. You realised if you had told them, then there was a good chance you and Phasma would get in trouble. Therefore you told them that you just had home stuff going on.

They believed it so that was all that mattered. You didn’t really know how your first day back would go. Hopefully you won't see Phasma at all. Last time you wanted to see her you could never find her so hopefully it should be the same this time round. You needed to try and get back into your routine so you decided to get changed and head down to the gym.

You made yourself a quick protein shake before grabbing your gym towel and making yourself down to the fitness centre. Today you were going to work on your chest and arms and when you finally saw all the gym equipment you finally felt all the motivation come back to you. You made your way over to one of the stations so you could start your chest press.

This is just what you needed. You put your headphones in and played your gym playlist. As you were working your way through your workout you saw someone walk into the gym out of the corner of your eye. You didn’t really take much notice of them though as many people were in the gym at this time of the morning so you continued on with your workout.

Midway through your workout though you started to feel like you were being watched. You always seemed to have a sixth sense for when someone was looking at you. You stopped what you were doing and looked around the gym trying to find the culprit. Just as you were about to give up looking, someone finally caught your attention.

There she was staring at you looking as smug as ever. Seriously, that would just be your luck. The one day you finally decide to go to the gym and get your life back together she happens to be here reminding you why you were so depressed in the first place. You couldn’t be dealing with her today so you decided to finish the reps you were doing and leave.

Yes you were half way through your workout but you really couldn’t be there while she was watching you like you were her prey. You started to pack your station up when you heard footsteps getting closer to you. As you went to turn around to leave you almost walked into the one person you are desperately trying to avoid.

“Don’t let me stop you from finishing your workout. It looks like you are only half way through it” she said smirking at you knowing that she was getting under your skin. “Captain, I have finished my workout for the day. I am only doing half a workout as I haven’t been feeling too well so wanted to work myself back in gently” you lied through gritted teeth. “Fair enough. See you around y/n” she said as she wandered off to one of the other stations while you quickly stormed out of the gym.

How could she act like everything is fine? You went from fucking each other, to her avoiding you and then admitting she just used you for sex and now everything is fine again. You were getting emotional whiplash from everything. You just wished you knew where you stood with Phasma. Are you just going to be friends and are you going to spend the rest of your life avoiding her?

At this point in time you knew exactly what you wanted to do and that was to stay as far away as you possibly could. She had hurt you and there was no way you were going to act like you were friends when that was far from what was happening. Therefore you headed back to your room to get ready for work. There was no possible way she could distract you there.

Once you were back in your room you had a quick cool down workout as you didn’t have time to do it in the gym, no thanks to Phasma. Once you were satisfied with that you jumped in the shower before then getting ready and dressed for work. It was 8:50 when you had finally finished getting ready so you made your way down to your workstation to go have a look at your work orders for the day.

You made your way into your office to see the pile of work orders already placed neatly on your desk.. You flicked through the pile seeing that most of the aircrafts you would be fixing today were a variation of tie fighter aircrafts. You also saw that the flagship also needed some general maintenance so you had that to look forward to.

However your heart dropped when you saw the final aircraft you would be working on today. There it was in black and white. The Naboo Royal Starship. Captain Phasma’s aircraft to be precise. Seriously was the entire galaxy out to get you today. You had spent weeks not being able to find the woman and now she seems to be everywhere. Why was the universe torturing you like this?

Thankfully her aircraft was the last one to work on so once you have done what needs to be done you can just leave and hopefully not have to see her again. You grabbed the pile of work orders and started making your way through the list. You grabbed your headphones and blasted one of your playlists. The first song that played was It’s Nice To Have A Friend. How typical was that, you’ve never felt lonelier and this was the first song that had to play.

The day went by relatively quickly while you were working. You managed to get through almost half the work orders when you checked the time. It was 12:30 and you could feel yourself getting hungry. You were currently in one of the lower decks of the flagship repairing one of the boosters. Once that was repaired you grabbed all your tools and made your way down to the cafeteria. You grabbed a selection of food that you enjoyed before finding an empty table to eat at.

You chose a small table in the far corner. No one could bother you and it meant you could just eat and listen to your music. Both of Us was now playing and you were just happy vibing to the music and eating your lunch. As you were having your own little disco you saw someone sit down opposite you. At first you didn’t look up at all. Out of all the places this person could have sat and they decided they wanted to sit with you. Well you weren’t going to give them any satisfaction so you continued eating and listening to your music.

You were happy minding your own business when the person opposite decided to kick you under the table. At first you ignored it as you believed it was an accident but then it happened again. You snapped your head up to see who was kicking you and you weren’t surprised to see the one person you were avoiding smirking at you.

You took out one of your headphones and just looked at Phasma. “What do you want, Captain?” you asked not really in the mood to hear her sarcastic response. “Nothing much, just wanted to sit and eat my lunch” she said while looking down at her food. Was she being serious? Why couldn’t she just leave you alone? With that you decided that you were finished so you grabbed all your belongings and went to get up to leave.

“Wait, where are you going?” she asked you. She didn’t care at all. She never did and so whatever cruel trick she was playing you weren’t going to fall for. “I’ve finished my lunch so I’m going back to work” you said as you walked off leaving Phasma sitting at the table just staring at you as you walked away. You really wished things hadn’t ended the way it did. You would have loved to have lunch with Phasma and chatted but maybe certain things weren’t meant to happen.

You made your way back to your workstation and got on with the rest of your jobs for the day. You turned the volume on your phone up as ivy was playing and it was one of your favourite songs. As you were working on one of the tie fighters you felt someone tap you. You quickly turned expecting to see one of your colleagues but instead you were met by Phasma again. Seriously, this woman does not quit.

You took out of your headphones which paused your music before looking up at Phasma. “Can I help you Captain?” you asked really hoping that she didn’t want anything at all. “I need my aircraft now,” she said to you sternly. You looked over to her Naboo and then back at her. “Sorry Captain, it's last on the list so I haven’t got round to fixing it yet. You can take it if you want but I wouldn’t recommend it as it’s not safe to fly” you said getting back to what you were doing.

“No, I need it now so if I were you I would stop what you are doing and fix what is wrong with my aircraft so I can use it” she said starting to get angry. All you could do was let out a small laugh. “Sorry these orders have come from Supreme Leader Snoke, so if you have a problem I would go speak to him first. If he moves your aircraft up the list then I will be more than happy to repair it for you. Until then Captain there is not a lot I can do” you said to Phasma as you got back to your work.

You had this massive smirk on your face as you got back on with your work. You knew that your comment had pissed her off. How could you tell? Well she stormed off like a big baby and the only way her aircraft would get moved up the list was if Snoke gave the word to do so which is highly unlikely.

You finished on the ship you were working on and Phasma had still not returned which obviously meant that she didn’t get the approval otherwise she would have obviously come back to brag. As the time moved forward you were finally able to get through all of your work orders for the day. You were relieved as it meant you could finally relax.

You made your way back to your room but just as you were about to sit down and relax you heard a voice come over the intercom. “Y/N, Y/LN and Captain Phasma to my office now. I repeat, Y/N, Y/LN and Captain Phasma to my office now” you heard Snoke say over the intercom.

Great what could this possibly be about you thought as you got up and made your way up to Supreme Leader Snoke’s office.

Calling Kylo Ren "Ben" feels like deadnaming him

Here me out: Ben was feeling fundamentally altered after his traumatic experience with Luke Skywalker, and as part of separating himself from it, he chose a new name.

So referring to him as "Ben" feels like denoting who he was before, and "Kylo" for who he is afterward.

In that way, I feel like Rey insisting on calling him "Ben" after she learns that name is sort of disrespectful of his decision to distance himself from his family.

Though, I acknowledge him distancing himself through his name does ring a bit hollow when you remember his near-constant comparisons of himself to Darth Vader, BUT I would argue that that was implanted by Palpatine.

Because fundamentally Palpatine didn't care to acknowledge that his Grand Plan was just fuckin wrong, yet he's trying so hard to hold on to all that work he'd done.

But he's just a stubborn, vain man, and it would've been baller to see a Kylo that chose that name for himself.

ALSO!! Wouldn't it be baller if he chose the name "Kylo", no last name? Wouldn't that coincide so very well with "Rey", no last name?? The dichotomy of someone with no family because his family was slowly killing him, vs someone with no family who was only staying alive for the hope they'd be there for her?

And while we're on the topic of Rey, I can respect her taking on the last name "Skywalker" IF Luke had shown that he, y'know,, liked her at all? He seemed pretty begrudging about the whole thing to me.

Wouldn't it have been cool for her to adopt the name "Palpatine" as a way to reclaim power from that horrible man?

So I noticed something last time I was watching part of TLJ

Look at this shot:

Okay, so it's just when Snoke says of Hux to Ren "Do you wonder why I keep a rabid cur in a such a place of power?"

are you seeing what I am seeing.

THE DOORS AREN'T CLOSED YET, Like, they're literally closing as he finishes saying it.

ARE YOU TELLING ME HUX DIDN'T JUST HEAR THAT? Because how could he NOT? Hux is probably so used to being verbally abused by everyone that it doesn't feel important. I mean, he sincerely believes he's going to eclipse both Snoke and Ren at this point.

BUT STILL

Yeah so don't mind me I'm just gonna sit here thinking about the fact Snoke called Hux a rabid cur basically to his face.

Context

Context for choice 3.

Here is what I mean about The New Republic and The First Order.

What happens after you win a war? How do you not make the same mistakes or become the thing you fought. What happens in a power vacuum? The New Republic should have been the dominant emerging power, and the Remnant should have been a small, secretive, unknown order, striking strategically from the Unknown Regions where they hid, and causing fear and panic to spread in the NR. After the Galactic Civil War, The New Republic commanders the Imperial Fleet and starts protecting systems who join the NR, all while chasing down and fighting any of the Remnants (Moffs, Warlords, Crime Lords, etc) who have grabbed power in the resulting vacuum. We could have seen an evolution of ships from Old Republic to Empire to NR ones. They could have renamed Star Destroyers into Star Defenders. Hell, they could have had a Republic of independent systems, each with their own sizable military, so that power isn’t centralized.

But no, instead of telling an interesting story, we are force fed the recycled poorly written rehashed Rebels vs Empire and the Rebels are made to be weaker than The First Order. The First Order are a terrorist movement, they should not be reigning after Hosnian Prime’s destruction, ESPECIALLY AFTER LOSING STARKILLER BASE!

Choice 4. Here is how I would give Kylo Ren motivation as to why Ben Solo fell and his main motivation as Kylo Ren.

Choice 6. I don't think there was absolutely no need for a Palpatine clone and eventually Palpatine himself(🙄) we all knew what was happening around the time this trilogy was being made. Trump. Base Snoke around the mango Mussolini and his lunatic fringe followers. An Alt-Right cult leader who cultivates the worst people imaginable. All The First Order needed to be was pointing out The New Republic brought the galaxy to an age of scum and villainy. A lawless state that usurped the rightful rulers that brought law and order. Basically "Make the Galaxy great again with Imperial Greatness"

You see, originally Lucas was going to make Palpatine JUST a politician and base him around Richard Nixon.

“George Lucas has spoken on various occasions of the way that the Nixon administration and the Vietnam war had an important influence on how he shaped the plot of the early films in the saga. The impact that these two events had an American in the 1970s started him thinking about the ways in which democracies can sale and how they deteriorating to dictatorships when corruption goes unchecked. He’s quoted as saying that Nixon - Who he viewed as having subverted the Senate and as acting an increasingly imperialistic way - what is the direct inspiration for Emperor Palpatine the supreme leader of the evil Empire in the first Star Wars trilogy”

So I don't see why they couldn't do something similar with the CLEAR FUCKING EVIL going on in the world at the time this trilogy was being made. No Sith master was needed.

In this scenario, I would call The First Order, The Imperium

Now you might have questions. What about the Stormtroopers and Kylo?

Stormtroopers? Don’t abduct kids, nationalize and recruit them willingly. Abducting children and training them to be Stormtroopers instantly made The First Order out to be cartoonishly evil from the start. So what do you do instead? Use propaganda. Nationalize them. Make them believe The Empire was right and convince them that the life of a Stormtrooper will help bring order in a chaotic galaxy. We’ve seen cults do something similar, Far Right Wing groups do it and we’ve seen Trump radicalize and nationalize white supremacists, so it’s not impossible for The First Order to do the logical thing.

Finn only leaves because he sees they are murdering unarmed civilians and chooses to leave. He is an example that it isn't too late to leave harmful fringe cult movements.

So how would Ben turn in this scenario? He's radicalized by Snoke. Ben starts hearing passionate speeches in the senate and Ben is moved. "I know he opposes my mother, but he's making a lot of sense" "He's right, we need to bring order to the galaxy" and Ben is radicalized by this Imperium movement and what he believes is Snoke's righteous cause. To Snoke, Ben represents everything great about the Empire. Snoke collects Sith Holocrons and uses the holocrons to turn Ben Solo into Kylo Ren.

In this scenario, I wouldn't redeem Ben. He is far too gone. He's committed atrocities in Snoke's name, for The Imperium and to bring order to the galaxy. While Finn represents those who could break away from Right Wing movements and Cults. Kylo Ren is far too gone, he's radicalized to the point where he's a die hard believer like Hux and Phasma and he's willing to fight and die for this indoctrination.

Choice 11. The Episode IX rewrite with Ben living and Reylo ending

Choice 12. The original plan for the Sequel Trilogy was to just get three young directors together to direct the Sequel Trilogy. It was supposed to be JJ, Rian and Colin Trevorrow, but Colin's IX was bad and his Jurassic World trilogy was terrible. So I would make either Matt Reves or Greta Gerwig as the director for Episode IX and ideally they would plan the trilogy out together instead of JJ setting up Mystery Boxes and expecting Rian and others open said mystery boxes and Rian subverting expectations.

Rey Palpatine was dumb she should’ve just been Rey Nobody/Skywalker

“Somehow Palpatine returned” was also dumb and I kinda would’ve rathered that they did Maul 2.0 with Snoke

Back in the day, I was such a fan of the ‘Rey Skywalker’ theory (as in, she was Luke’s daughter). However, I am getting very fond of ‘Rey Kenobi’.

…I’m… not a fan of her being ‘Rey Nobody’. But that’s just me.

Anyway, I actually don’t mind the Rey Palpatine twist. But I do understand why a lot of people hate it.

“Somehow Palpatine returned” is comedy gold and I won’t hear a word against it 😉

Snoke with robot legs! I don’t know if that would’ve looked ridiculous or awesome… is he still wearing the gold bathrobe?

Captain Phasma x fem reader

Summary: You and Phasma get paired together to go out on a mission however you both end up stranded due to an error with the aircraft which you got injured by. Phasma finally confesses to you how she feels but is she too late?

You made your way to Supreme Leader Snoke’s office and you weren’t impressed by the scene you entered in on. Snoke sat at his desk looking as annoyed as ever and in the chair opposite him was Phasma who had her back to you.

You really couldn’t be bothered to deal with them today and you had no idea why you had both been called to Snoke’s office. Were you in trouble? Does he know what happened between the two of you? Well you were about to find out.

You sat down next to Phasma in the chair next to her and waited for Snoke to say something. “So I’m sure you’re both wondering why I have called you in here today. We have had a new aircraft designed and I want the two of you to take it out on a test run” he said sternly as he grasped his hands together.

“Why us though?” You asked Snoke wondering why the two of you out of all people had to do this. “Because you y/n are my best mechanic which means that if anything were to go wrong I know you can fix it and Phasma I’m sending you because you are the best stormtrooper I have. I thought you both would be honoured that I had selected you both. Clearly I was wrong” he said leaning back into his chair, looking annoyed at the both of you.

“No! I am honoured, I really am. I guess I just wasn’t expecting to be called upon that’s all. We will head down to the aircraft now and set off. We will let you know how it runs when we arrive back at the flagship” you said quickly before standing up and leaving the room.

You couldn’t be bothered to wait for Phasma so you quickly stormed out of the room and headed down to the landing strip hoping to find the new aircraft. As you were walking down you decided to look to see if Phasma was behind you. She wasn’t. Would she even decide to come? You really couldn’t care to be honest.

As you finally arrived at the landing strip you could see the new aircraft standing to the side of the runway. It was beautiful. It was a small slick aircraft and you knew at first glance that it would have some power behind it. You walked up to the aircraft and just admired its beauty.

Ok first you needed to do safety checks. Once they were done you would be ready to set off. Hopefully Phasma has decided that she doesn’t want to come and won’t bother showing up. You made your way around the aircraft carrying out the usual safety checks you would do before every flight.

Once you knew everything was in order you got changed into your flight uniform. Once you knew you were ready you looked around for Phasma but still couldn’t see her around at all. Was she even going to show up? At this point you didn’t really care.

You opened up the door of the aircraft and waited for the stairs to come down. When they had finally descended you climbed up the steps and made your way to the cockpit. The controls looked the same as most of the other aircrafts so you knew that it would be fairly easy to fly. You then did your internal safety checks.

That didn’t take long and the only person you were waiting for now was Phasma. You got up from your seat and went to the door to exit the aircraft. As you were about to get down and look for Phasma you could finally see her walking towards the aircraft kitted out in her armour.

You were annoyed at yourself finding the scene unfolding in front of you hot as fuck. The last thing you wanted to think about was her but how could you when she looked like that. You decided you didn’t want to get caught staring so you made your way back to the cockpit and sat down in the pilot seat.

Phasma didn’t take long to board the aircraft and she was not impressed that you were sitting in ‘her’ seat. “Move” she growled at you. “Why? I am the one who knows more about aircrafts” you snapped back at Phasma as you looked at her clearly annoyed. “I don’t care! I am your superior so move!” She shouted at you.

You got up and moved into the co-pilot seat as you really couldn’t be dealing with Phasma and her foul mood. You knew that if you tried to intervene she would snap at you so you just sat back and let her do all the work. She started up the aircraft and made her way over to the runway.

Within a blink of an eye you were travelling at full speed and were taking off into the dark empty void in front of you. As Phasma flew the aircraft you both just ended up in silence. It was awkward and you could cut the tension with a knife. You didn’t really know what to say and even if you did say anything there was a good chance that she would snap at you anyway.

So you did the one thing you could do, absolutely nothing. She didn’t want your help so what was the point in trying to give it to her. So you sat back in your seat and enjoyed the view in front of you as Phasma flew around the void of space. You watched as you flew past planet after planet. You were getting bored though and was wondering when you would be heading back to the flagship.

Just as you were about to open your mouth to ask, the siren in the cockpit started blaring at you both. You both looked at one another in complete panic wondering what the hell was going on. “The aircraft is malfunctioning! I’ve lost control” Phasma shouted at you as you quickly sat up trying to help gain control over the aircraft again.

You started pressing a load of buttons that would normally help gain control of the aircraft but nothing was working. “Fuck sake! Did you not do safety checks before we left y/n?” Phasma screamed at you. “Why am I getting the blame! If you had come down with me at the same time you would have seen me carry safety checks inside and out. I am not incompetent! Why would I put us at risk to spite you!” you practically screamed back at Phasma.

She was taken aback by your sudden outburst but the only thing you could both think about at that moment was trying to safely land this aircraft. As the aircraft was hurtling through space you saw another planet coming into view. “There! We need to try and get into that planet's gravitational field. Hopefully we might be able to crash land there before getting help” you pointed out to Phasma.

“Try and help me guide the aircraft towards that planet” she said as she grabbed the control column. You did the same as you both tried your hardest to get the aircraft to go in the right direction. It was definitely tough but as you were both working together you finally managed to control the aircraft for a brief minute.

That didn’t last long however. Once you managed to get the aircraft on the right course you both lost complete control of the aircraft once again. The only thing you both could do now was let gravity take control of the aircraft and pray that you would both make it out alive. You were crash landing and there was always the possibility that one or both of you wouldn’t survive.

You both just looked at one another. You were panicking and Phasma wasn't showing any emotion. You couldn’t even tell if she was scared or not. “We are gonna be fine. I’ve crash landed loads of times and I’m still here” she said . You couldn’t tell if she was trying to comfort you or not.

Either way it wasn’t making you feel much better. The planet was starting to get closer and closer which meant gravity was finally taking over the aircraft. As the aircraft hurtled towards the unknown planet fire started to surround the nose of the ship confirming you were now entering the planet's atmosphere.

That’s when the sirens got louder telling you both to pull up. All you could was grip your chair for dear life and pray that you would both make it out alive. You didn’t want to die and you especially didn’t want to die with Phasma why you were both still angry at each other. It felt like you were waiting forever for the aircraft to hit the ground.

It was only about a minute before the aircraft finally collided with the ground. You gripped the chair for dear life praying for this all to be over. All you could do is close your eyes and wait. You felt the whole aircraft shake before then having pain hurtle through your body and then everything around you stopped.

You were in so much pain and you didn’t want to open your eyes. You didn’t want to think about whether Phasma was hurt and you definitely didn’t want to look to see what was causing you pain. You just felt this huge pressure against your body and pain. Lots of pain.

“Fuck! Y/n are you ok?” Phasma screamed at you. That’s what caused you to open your eyes immediately. You looked at Phasma who seemed to be fine. Her armour protected her from the worst of it. You watched as she unbuckled herself from her chair and made her way over to you.

She placed her hand on your cheek to comfort you which caused you to hiss in pain. You finally decided to look down to see the extent of the damage. One of your legs had snapped and was facing the wrong way completely and you were being crushed by a tree that had smashed into the front of the aircraft.

As you took a closer look you realised that one of the sharp branches has embedded itself in the top of your thigh. You were in shock. You looked at Phasma who didn’t know how to react. “Hey look at me, stay with me. It’s going to be alright. We are going to get out of here. Just stay with me” she begged as you watched her take off her helmet.

She was crying which caused you to start crying as well. You weren’t ready to die. Not yet. You still had so much to live for but with the extent of your injuries and the lack of communication you didn’t have any hope that you would be getting out alive.

All you could do is sit back in the chair and steady your breathing. Phasma quickly stood up and started to pace around the ship hoping she could find some way to communicate with her crew back on the flagship.

After rummaging around she finally found a radio which meant she would be able to communicate with someone to try and get you both help. “Mayday! Mayday! This is Captain Phasma! We have gone down! I repeat we have gone down! We need backup asap! Please y/n is in critical condition!” She shouted down the radio.

You managed to hear some muffled response but you were in too much pain to even focus on what Phasma and the other person were talking about. “Don’t worry y/n help is on the way. Just hold on it’s going to be alright” she said to you as she gripped your hand tightly trying her best to comfort you.

You looked down at your leg and there was blood everywhere. You then looked up at Phasma and gave her a worried look. “I don’t think I’m going to make it” you managed to whisper. “Don’t you dare say that y/n. You are going to make it. They won’t be long and we are both going to make it” she said to you confidently but you could tell she was just as worried.

“I’m losing too much blood. I will be amazed if I make it out of here alive. I just wanted to say I’m sorry for these last few weeks. The last thing I want to think about when I think of you is how angry I was at you. I loved every minute with you” you whimpered as you felt tears start streaming down your face.

You were feeling faint now and you had no idea how much longer it would be before you took your last breath. ��I should be the one apologising to you! I used you and then pretended that you didn’t exist. The truth is y/n is that I love you! I’m not one that deals with big feelings and when they tend to pop up I ignore it. I thought if I ignored you then the feelings would go away but they didn’t. I felt things for you even before the training sessions and now I fear I’ve left it too late! Please don’t leave me y/n, I love you so much and I’m not ready to spend my life without you” Phasma cried out.

You wanted to respond but the whole world went black!
