Warning: Headcanon
"Supervisors".
Creatures, or rather, one of the Gods who look after the integrity of the Archives. They have a kind of alliance with Archivists, or Collectors. They look after huge rows of various records, ensure their integrity, both in the absence of Archivists, and simply ensure that all records stand in their places.
Of course, there are several Supervisors in each of the Collector Archives. There are at least three such archives in the galaxy, the main of which are the "Great" Archives.
Supervisors there, the most, if you can say so, due to the fact that the oldest information is stored there, and in general there is the most of it there. There are not only records about planets and space objects, etc., but also collections of various living creatures, for the most part, past embodied Collectors.
In the middle Archives, there are also Collections of living creatures, but there are more creatures, the current Archivists.
PS: Where there is a sketch with racks, there is a proportion with a mortal and the Overseer. Living creatures are so small to be compared with them!

Meet the Supervisors
General Info
I like to think that the reason the USB Admins are recolors with number eyes is for organizational purposes, like a work uniform, so the Supervisors don't have that restriction since there aren't any non-USB Supervisors.
They do at least look like they could reasonably belong in their assigned universe, but that's mainly a side-effect of being designed alongside their MRUs.
They actually communicate with their MRUs like the Mario and Kirby USBs, but aren't parental figures for obvious reasons. They usually just see each other as either friends or coworkers.
Have more-or-less the same abilities as the Admins, with a few unique extras based on their designs.
Trinity
Looks like a fusion between the Oracle versions of Farore, Nayru and Din (because of course she would).
Can actually use the various spells, songs, and other techniques directly associated with those three.
Takes her position as The Oldest very seriously, which leads the others (Spreadsheet especially) to see her as a bit of a stuffy know-it-all.
May or may not have a crush on Tartarus. If anyone asks she'll firmly deny it.
Regards Director K with mild suspicion because she's sure she recognizes him from somewhere and it's setting off alarm bells.
More than a bit high-strung.
GIF
Takes the form of the Default Hamtors, including their small size.
Doesn't have pronouns. GIF is always GIF.
All of GIF must be capitalized, always.
Just as goofy and crazy as the actual Hamtors, but still does GIF's job very well.
If GIF sits on your head that means GIF likes you. And that GIF wants to feel tall right now.
Bites.
Quazar
Apparently the character design agent saw how Frida reacts to anything that might possibly be a faerie and went "you know what would be really fucking funny?" So she looks like a faerie queen, tall and ethereal and just a bit unsettling.
This is effect is absolutely ruined by the thickest Brooklyn accent you've ever heard whenever she opens her mouth.
Sexuality is "look at my color scheme and ask me that again."
Trinity thinks Quazar is the Only Other Sane One. She is wrong.
When she finds out that Programs have night clubs she is going to become the Party Animal and Trinity's rose-tinted view of her is going to be absolutely shattered. Everyone In The Know is already making bets on when it'll happen.
Spreadsheet
Obviously a Fairy. And because of how Fairly Oddparents Fairies work, they can transform into whatever they want, whenever they want, without having any of the usual Code Compression difficulties every other Program has to deal with.
Easily the most chaotic and irisponsible of the First Five, partly on purpose and partly because That's Just How it be in Dimmsdale.
You know how I said that Supervisors don't have a parent/child dynamic with their MRUs? Spreadsheet's the exception, because the MRUs do retain the "SMGs start out as recolors" rule so those two are Literally Children and fairies looking after kids is this universe's Whole Deal. Taking care of 6 and 7 is the One Thing that they actually take seriously outside of dire emergencies.
Has made it their life's mission to get Trinity to actually relax and have fun. Mostly by messing with her via harmless pranks and being generally annoying.
Connectivity
Has a similar Cute Little Mascot design to Harmony, Zap, and any other Spirits that may get introduced.
Is the actual Sane One of the first batch of four, but usually sides with Spreadsheet on the grounds of feeling that Trinity's workaholic mindset isn't healthy.
Came with one of the Spirit Jewels that the actual Spirits bestow upon their Champions, but keeps it hidden because she isn't sure how anyone would react to her being able to bestow a piece of her power to someone. Has quite a bit of anxiety about this that she isn't willing to address.
When she and Alyssa interact it sometimes results in a Mom Friend Feedback Loop because they can each Tell that the other needs some love and nurturing and it sets off their maternal tendencies but they're not ready or willing to confront their own struggles (especially the Trust Issues) enough to be receptive to that.
When that doesn't happen they'll swap gossip about their respective coworkers, because every office is gonna have some piping hot Tea to spill and even if the IRL and Digital agents are considered equals they're obviously still physically separate so the gossip's gotta get from one side of the screen to the other somehow.

This may be an unpopular statement but, I hate the term "Quiet Quitting" and how its being used right now. If I was hired for the position with the duties listed on my job description, and I'm doing and performing those duties, then I am "working". If I do more, then I'm have either made the choice to "Take initiative" OR I am forced to "Overwork", to that if I am doing more than my listed tasks and performing the duties of a higher position...PAY ME IT. If I suddenly stop, I did not quit, no because YOU NEVER HIRED ME WITH THE PAY TO DO IT.
Quiet quitting are the people are actually purposefully under performing and NOT doing their job descriptions, so they can either be asked to resign or get fired. Because USUALLY people are fired because they are NOT performing their job duties.
People doing their job description are WORKING, and they have chosen to have work life balance and not be bullied by lazy or cheap supervisors or managers or employers who are probably UNDER PERFORMING.
Because what ever happened to the concept of "If you need a job done, do it yourself." If you can't do it yourself you HIRE and PAY someone to do it. And if you think people resorting back to their job descriptions and are working within the labor laws and OSHA, and you are the employer and you don't like that then....DO THE JOB YOURSELF, HIRE MORE PEOPLE, UPDATE THE JOB DESCRIPTION AND PAY OR....Prepare of a mass exodus. Employees who are working and performing their job duties well, are not lazy and they are not quitting.

Why do people without Gifts end up in these organizations?
Aha, well, the Gifted in these organizations are rarely in them willingly. (;´∀`) Not a single Gifted in the MC’s team, Division-01, wanted to be a HAWK— some surrendered peacefully when captured and others undertook a much more violent resistance. The Gifted Specialists are glorified prisoners, and the non-Gifted Supervisors are akin to their prison guards. The non-Gifted that work closely with the Specialist Agents are aware that their lives are in danger every second spent in the company of these superhumans. NESTS provides ample training for a majority of Supervisors from an early age, but Supervisors know that they are humans lording over god-like beings. Supervisors accept the risk due to their individual ambitions, ideals, or values. And . . . it helps that few Gifted are willing to step too far out of line when the lives of their human loved ones are held against them.
These organizations are dedicated to the containment, policing, and protection against the Gifted whose actions have wrought destruction and loss when wielded by the wrong people - sometimes not even by intention. (Though that is not to say the Gifted haven't also brought about miracles and good as well.)
Many non-Gifted can sympathize with the motivation of the HAWKS as a suppressor to the unpredictable dangers of the Gifted, and others are drawn by its promise to transform the potential of the Gifted into a global force for good. A significant sum are interested in the prestige, knowledge, and power that comes with a position within these organizations. In Division-01 alone, the four Supervisors that work with the MC have had very different roads and experiences that led them to their current position. This is reflected in their diverse outlook on the Gifted and what their role as a Supervisor means to them.
(I oftentimes ask myself why certain individuals join the CIA. The reasons are potentially limitless, if hard for a decent chunk of people to understand / empathize with, haha!)
Some of the Gifted come to embrace the cause, intents, or outcomes of the HAWKS over time as well. Elouan, Imka, and Mutya have differing but similar attitudes towards their placement in the HAWKS as having a value for themselves or the world. Sigmund is fiercely opposed to both the HAWKS and CARDINALS, yet he puts significant effort into his role as a HAWK to protect his fellow Agents / not endanger them with his rebellion. Niccolò and Jae are just looking for a good time in the coziest prison they could've asked for, even if they equally long to be free again. None of them would have ever thought to volunteer themselves to the organization, however. (。•́︿•̀。)
Apologies for the tangent, and thank you for the ask!

i cannot stress this enough: if your reasoning for clowning on the mcu is "they overwork their cg artists and animators" i 1000% guarantee that a show or movie you have been stanning for years also abused their artists and you just haven't heard about it because the production companies aren't in the spotlight like mcu productions are. that cartoon for kids? that incredibly animated movie? that non-marvel superhero movie? i've seen people declare their hatred for the way the mcu treats their workers and then turn around and gush about a show that i know for a fact was hell for the artists attached
and no this is NOT me saying "this means you should stop hating on the mcu uwu" it's me saying you gotta be aware that this shit is an INDUSTRY WIDE PROBLEM. you CANNOT "fix" it by refusing to watch mcu movies and feeling good about it. you have to be aware that it's EVERYWHERE. why do you think so many animation and vfx productions are sourced in canada? in india and the phillipines? we are not unionized.
i know it's hard to face the idea that your favourite show might have been made unethically especially when you've spent so much time hating the mcu for doing the same thing. you don't have to start hating your favourite show. just like...be aware. don't be smarmy about it. don't claim without research that a beautifully animated movie Must mean the animators were not working 16 hour days and weekends. i do think we can fix this 👍 but we can't fix it if 90% of us don't even realize what the problem really is

This comes up a whole lot.
Like, a whole lot.
What it is is basically bosses and workplaces that aren't worthy.
Aren't worthy?
Yeah. Because as professionals we're fundamentally shaped by our early experiences. The people we work for. The people we work with.
So those people are important. The quality of them, that is. Their professionalism. Their expertise.
A friend of mine once called me in despair, thinking they'd chosen the wrong career. After a fair bit of conversation, it seemed to me that there wasn't enough information to make that call. There wasn't enough information manifest in their experience to conclude they didn't belong in this industry they chose.
There was definitely enough information, though, to conclude they were working for the wrong company.
Absolutely. The wrong. Company.
And the reason I wanna pound on this drum is that the people, the professionals, into whose hands my friend placed the start of their career... nearly convinced them they'd chosen the wrong career. Which they actually hadn't.
They'd picked the wrong company… but that's not the same thing as choosing the wrong career.
Certainly when we embark on any adventure, there's a natural deference we may feel for the people in charge. After all, they're in charge. They've been here, done this. And presumably they know everything.
Mostly importantly, though, they're the gatekeeper to your career. They're your first step to something greater. They're an opportunity you don't wanna blow. They're the job that's right in front of you and you need it.
So we never stop to ask ourselves... we never think about anything other than the opportunity, the gateway. We never ask ourselves, not even once…
Is this person, are these people, worthy of my abilities?
And yes. I know how that sounds. Especially when applying this career attitude to eighteen, nineteen year olds. When applying it to twenty-somethings, young adults.
Who. Do they think they are?
They've gotta pay their dues just like everyone else.
Right?
Right???
Well...
Lemme put it like this:
We need not put our careers, our futures, in the hands of bosses who lack expertise, wisdom, and professionalism.
And how do we know we’re working for someone who’s lacking in those capacities?
Hmmmmm.
I’m pretty sure I know how to describe them.
But I’ll have to get back to that...
🙂
...

Tuesday, April 18: Okay, here you go...
