"What a lovely bunch," Levi mutters, locking in on the two huge Titans in his way. The manic laughs of Hange echoes off the streets, but he pays no attention to that, landing swiftly, walking towards the monsters with all the grace of a man walking into a party.

"You sure have interesting faces, don't—oh my god!" he loses his footing just then and nearly falls the full ten meters down. "Jeez, why is it so damn hard walking on these?!" he yelps, having caught himself by grabbing onto the surface below him.

"Maybe 'cuz they're shingles!" Hange yells from somewhere below.

"Cut!" the director shouts. "Are you okay? Your hand isn't scraped up?"

"Just a little bit," Levi slowly regains his footing. Technically, he wouldn't have been a whole lot injured if he did fall, but it's not a nice feeling, anyway. Somewhere across the studio, he hears one of the kids laughing hysterically at his fall. Really, sometimes it's a good question to ask why he joined this set; besides the money benefits and the awesome role he gets to play. "I'm fine to keep going."

"Okay, if you insist..."

"Stay still," Levi sniffs distastefully, perched with extreme agility atop the Titan's head, like it's nothing for a seasoned veteran like him. "Otherwise, I'll never get a clean cut of your flesh."

Slicing blades through Titan flesh feels so good.

"Wait, wait, gimme a minute," Armin fumbles with the camera for a minute. "Okay, I'd rather not play with all these settings—"

"You play a brainiac," Eren points out. "You should be confident about this."

"You're on camera now," Armin says. "Better keep the snark to a minimum."

"Yeah, be professional!" Historia makes a point of elbowing Eren very pointedly. "Let's begin, shall we?"

"I'm editing this out later, but..." Armin clears his throat, and puts on a presenter-style tone of voice. "Now here we are with the stars of episode ten of Attack on Titan's fourth season, Eren and Historia! Thank you so much for fitting this interview into your busy schedule!"

"Thank you for having us!" Historia beams, a natural at this, while Eren flounders for a good minute as Historia goes through with the usual pleasantries one would normally see in an interview with superstars.

Then, "so, Eren!" Armin smirks at him from behind the camera. They really aren't being too serious about this impromptu interview, but true to the character he plays, Eren is a truly competitive person, so it doesn't take much to push the right buttons. "Tell us! What does this episode entail?"

"Well..." he visibly blinks confusedly. Historia nudges him, which seems to get him to wake up and take it more like the way they want him to. "Well, in this episode, we'll see more about what happened in the four years since the end of the third season. We'll be meeting with...uh...Kiyomi Azumabito, who interestingly hails from the same land as Mikasa is supposed to be from! And—uh—she has something to reveal, doesn't she?"

"Yes, she does," Historia winks at the camera, "as viewers will come to know!"

"And we'll be seeing a diplomatic meeting of sorts between the Paradisians, and Kiyomi Azumabito as well as the Volunteers," Eren continues, seeming to get a hang of it. "Of course, the subject being aid, and, well, war. As well as...plans regarding Historia which Eren is very vehemently opposed to."

"But!" Historia grins. "You'll see more of that when the episode airs! Make sure to catch the episode on time when it airs~"

"And...cut!" Armin lowers the phone, grinning. "Honestly, Eren, you were more than just taken off-guard just now."

"Yeah, that was worse than actual interviews with actual TV stations," Historia giggles.

"I usually have more time to prepare—" the video cuts in the middle of Eren's whining.

"What is this?" Eren blinks at the speaker set being hauled in by a stagehand.

"It's for your scene where you tell everyone that they're gonna die," the director says in a perfectly cheery tone, as if he isn't talking about one of the darkest scenes in the entire show. "It adds to the effect."

"Effect? I thought we were just editing my voice later, though."

"Like I said, effect," the director nods. "We will be adding some minor effects here and there, but this'll most likely boost the creepiness effect."

"Huh." Eren picks up one of microphones attached to it. "Hear me, Subjects of Ymir," he tries, brightening. "Hey, I like it! My name is Eren Yeager. I'm using the Founding Titan's power to address all Subjects of Ymir. I've undone the hardening of Paradis Island's walls—"

"Okay, enough," Mikasa cuts in, wrapping her arms around herself. "I'd rather not hear that monologue unless I absolutely have to. Jesus, that's so creepy."

"It's not that bad," Jean insists. "If we think about the dork behind the creepy genocidal voice issuing a deadline of life to people."

"Oh, haha, so funny," Eren deadpans. Somehow, the dynamic between him and Jean's actual personalities as opposed to the characters they portray...isn't that different, but it's lighter, in a way. Probably because they don't have death hanging over their heads. "Anyway, this is a good addition to the set! I like it!"

Ymir, who'd been standing off to the side, seeing as she isn't part of this scene, comes closer and picks up the mic. "Wonder what it'll sound like if I just..." she takes a deep breath. "Is this the day? Are you the way I finally find out why~"

"Really?" Armin pinches the bridge of his nose, already foreseeing the result of this. "A Frozen parody. Okay, sure."

Ymir pays no mind. "Show yourself! I'm no longer trembling! Here I am, I have come so far!"

Which, of course, prompts Eren to start belting out lyrics, too, because ever since Ymir Fritz was introduced onto the set the two of them have done nothing aside from causing mischief (which isn't to say they don't contribute greatly to the show). "You are the answer I've waited for all my li-i-i-fe! Oh, show yourself, let me see who you are!"

"Show yourself!" Ymir is grinning so widely that Armin can't bring himself to stop them.

"Step into your power! Grow yourself into something new!" Eren somehow keeps a tune while essentially hollering the lyrics.

"I don't know why neither of them have matured," Connie hands Armin back his phone (evidently having recorded the whole exchange), "but hey, at least it's free comedy."

"Free comedy, indeed," Armin echoes, watching Eren's voice crack and break on one of the higher notes, making Ymir dissolve into hysterical giggles.

"What are you guys doing." Mikasa deadpans, watching Reiner and Eren twirl around.

"Practicing our fight sequence, duh!" Eren yells over his shoulder, dipping Reiner down as if they're ballerinas. Which, technically, they are. They just never pursued a career for that, even though they totally could have.

"All I see is ballet routines," Mikasa sighs. "Please, be serious. As much as the fans seem to love crack edits, right now we very much need to get ready for the epic showdown between you both. Okay?"

"C'mon, relax!" Reiner laughs, coming to a halt. "We've got it down pretty good."

"Yeah?" Mikasa fixes him with the cold stare that her character is known for. "Show it to me, then. Let's see it."

"Sure!" Eren grins, tugging Reiner into the formation. "We've got this choreo down to the T, you'll see."

"That's—good enough—for you?" Eren gasps, down on the floor. Pieck hurries over to them with bottles of water. "Mikasa?"

"...fine," she grumps. "But no more doing dumb things!"

"Yeah, yeah."

"Oh my god this is so romantic," Sasha whisper-yells, angling the phone camera just right.

"They're just like us," Eren says, and in that voice, there is so much hatred and anger—so much resentment and pain. "One day, their regular lives just ended, and everything was taken away from them. They were deprived of all their freedoms."

Mikasa stares at him. The weight of his words is tremendous, but this is so different in a fundamental way from the Eren she has come to know and love. The distant, detached boy she adapted to these past four years has become this, and she hates it.

"Mikasa." He looks at her, eyes full of emotion. "Why do you care so much about me?"

...

...what?

"Huh?"

"Is it because I saved you when we were little?" Eren asks. He's direct and to-the-point in a way he has never been before. It's Eren, but he's begging for an answer right now...it seems surreal, the way his viridian eyes latch onto Mikasa's onyx and holds fast. "Or is it because I'm your family?"

"Huh?" a fiery blush takes ahold of Mikasa's cheeks. Is he—is he asking—

"What—what am—" Eren pauses, breaking character with a frown. "Uh, what was my line again...?"

"Are you serious?" Mikasa bursts into laughter, which makes Eren and everyone around them start laughing, too. "This is like, a monumental scene!"

"I'm sorry!" Eren snorts. "It was just too much! I'm not emotionally built for this!"

"Sorry, but you're in for the long ride," Mikasa giggles. "Let's try that again. And don't forget—your line is 'what am I to you?'"

"I know," Eren shakes his head. "I won't forget again."

yes this was kind of unhinged. I meant to include more but I lost inspo halfway through, so here's a few takeaways from this:

- armin won an oscar for best actor. there was a lot of sobbing to go around.

- aot itself won best original score because sawano hiroyuki is a #genius

- some of them livestreamed their first-time reaction to the last ep of the entire thing and NO it ENDED ON THE SCARF.

Reiner x Mikasa (ReiKasa) Actor AU Universe (Gen) Headcanon #15

Acting Career

Both are very professional in their acting - they each have serious switch energies. They are both different off-screen and on-screen.

Reiner got his footing in acting as a rising action star. There had even been rumors of him being a stripper when he was in college, which he did not deny, saying that he needed to pay for his degree. In real life, he is the coolest, hilarious and dorky guy ever (He's a party animal!) But when the cams started rolling, he'll switch to the darkest mode needed for his character that it scares the producers at times. Same goes with Eren.

Before Reiner was cast as one of the recurring characters in the SnK series, he's also known as the face of Calvin Klein, Red Bull Energy Drink & Tag Heuer.

Meanwhile Mikasa is a multifaceted & talented actress who began her career as a child actress/commercial models. You could see her extensive filmography as she took on guest roles and recurring characters in older tv serials in the 90s & early 2000s. This woman also made a lot of cameos in the MV of famous rock & pop bands.

Mikasa is already a famous household name before her breakout role as the main actress for SnK The Series. She is the face of Dior, Simone Pérèle & Anna Sui.

After SnK The Series became a global phenomenon, both Reiner & Mikasa were appointed as Goodwill Ambassadors for UNICEF from the cast of the series.

SnK The Series (SnKTS)

When they were both cast into their respective characters, these two started out as acquaintances/ fellow castmates.

Mikasa was cast at the main three leads. Reiner was a recurring character until he gets a bump into the main roster for the final season.

These two barely have any direct lines with each other, but when they do have direct action/lines together, or just standing next to each other in a frame, fans can feel the intense vibe between these two.

Therefore, from S3 onwards, one can expect Reiner & Mikasa to be travelling together a lot for promos, fan panels & interviews.

Since they are the few actors on set that perform their own stunts, they spend a lot of time together with the stunt choreographer for most of their action scenes. Reiner and Mikasa have an amazing onscreen fight scene chemistry.

Any behind-the-scenes recording or media interviews would see these two playing pranks on each other or just tease each other mercilessly but one can see that they both have a soft spot for each other.

Dating Rumors

They both started noticing each other's endearing qualities since the first table reading for the series' season debut. They become fast, casual friends because they're both fitness enthusiasts & foodies.

These two would usually arrive on set 3 hours early & hit the gyms or do a quick run. After a while they'd usually do them together.

Reiner would be the one who's constantly checking if he might have accidentally hurt her in one of their fight scenes. Off-screen, their chemistry is very apparent amongst the production members but they insisted they're very comfortable friends.

There's a secret betting pool among the writers of the series that these two would end up married by the time the series wraps up.

One of the executive producers even said that if they end up married, he'll gift their firstborn child with his or her own education trust fund.

Reiner & Mikasa both have dating rumors but not with each other because they're so good in keeping things professional. Mikasa has fans speculating a lot, especially when a lot of musicians or sports stars shared that she is their dream date or big time crush. She's been linked to famous DJs & idols while Reiner has been linked to Victoria's Secret models & popstars. All of those were just rumors.

On red carpets of premiere, press tours, fan panels and after party, they're always photographed with a group of other cast members. Eagle-eyed fans would notice the subtle touches, secret whispers and longing looks from one to the other. Reiner would usually wear a tie that matches the color of Mikasa's dress. On-site fans would notice Reiner offering his hand for her to take when she wears heels or fixing her hair or her dress trains.

Levi and Hange, fellow married castmates who also had a secret relationship prior to their wedding, had been the one who's been Reiner & Mikasa's respective wingman/wingwoman. Armin and Annie, who are openly dating each other had been in cahoots in keeping their fellow castmates' relationship on the DL too. Annie had almost spilled the tea in an interview 🙈

These two are so private, they don't post anything about each other on their SM accounts. Reiner always posts about his fitness regime and hiking trips with Jean, Armin, Connie and occasionally Levi. Mikasa would post pictures of her, Hange, Annie, Sasha and Pieck on their vacations or her pictures of her cat, Primrose. But Annie's SM posts have almost exposed Reiner & Mikasa's relationship during one of their group's private getaways in Cabo.

Even the paparazzis were unable to spot them without non-family members or castmates around. But media was able to sniff their possible relationship when pictures of their secret vacation in Italy with their families were leaked online.

Their budding romance is comparable to Rose Leslie & Kit Harington from GOT or Ryan Reynolds & Blake Lively. Paps pictures of Mikasa sporting a huge diamond band on her finger has the rumor mills swirling. Some fans have been able to deduce the identity of her mysterious fiancé when she's seen with a fresh tattoo of the monogram letters R and B on the inside of her wrist, while Reiner has been spotted having the letters M and A tattooed on his.

Referencing to this post, prior to their wedding news, the moment Reiner appears on the cover of Men's Health Magazine with his nude pecs on full display, fans are finally able to confirm that he is Mikasa's mysterious husband-to-be based on the tattoos on his chest.

As soon as the news of their upcoming wedding was made official with the release of their official pre-wedding pictures, they legit broke the internet.

These two would spur fans to do a forensic on all past official promo, behind the scenes stills, making of & event images that would make people go, "Holy crap, the signs were all there!" If there's a mag cover caption best to describe the news, it'll be with "Married! When did it all even begin?"

Extremely Private Married Life

They had a closed, private wedding on a cruise ship in the summer. It was attended by fellow cast members and Mikasa & Reiner's other close celebrity friends.

Even after they're married, paps had a huge challenge trying to snap pictures of them together.

During the filming of the final season, Mikasa would be like Gal Gadot, filming her own stunts at 20 weeks of pregnancy. She was very persistent in not using a double. That even made Reiner sat restlessly on the sides whenever the cameras started rolling.

EDIT: The showrunners also decided to inject an indirect fan-service by featuring their characters right next to each other in the Final Season's official poster & key art for merchandise as they've been married & have given birth by the time the Final Season was ready to debut.

After her baby bump got too big and was getting a lot harder to cover, the production crew forced her to use a stunt double for long-shots.

When their twins were born, the new family had an exclusive feature with Harper's Bazaar. All proceeds from the rights purchase went straight to UNICEF.

The Executive Producer had setup the twins' college trust fund the moment the their names were officially announced by UNICEF on their website.

Actor!Eren Yeager Headcanons (part 4)

Pairing: Actor!Eren Yeager x MakeupArtist!Reader (AOT Live Action Show AU)

A/N: This was originally supposed to be the last part, but it was getting SO LONG and there was SO MUCH that needed to happen that I’m splitting it into two. Inspired by @nihaalart ‘s actor au fan art :)

Going back to your apartment after everything was depressing to say the least

You had made good money as a makeup artist before Attack On Titan

Yk from doing makeup for weddings, SFX makeup for other projects, doing stuff on YouTube and social media and stuff

So it wasn’t that you were going back to a crappy place

But the off white walls, throw blankets, comfy couches, and picture frames that surrounded you just didn’t feel like home anymore

It was too lonely

You wanted the energy you felt on set

The excitement and fun

The friendship and love you had shared

Love

Eren

God, what was he going to think of you?

You just left him without any explanation

You refused to answer his or anyone else’s texts

You were kinda sorta shutting down 🙃

Mikasa and Hange had been messaging you on every platform you had

Jean, Reiner, and Zeke had texted you every morning

Armin had called you at least four times and Sasha sent you video messages

Even Levi - the captain of being antisocial - had sent you a message asking where you where and how you were doing

But Eren?

Eren sent nothing

Not a single message

No call, no text

Nothing

And honestly?

That hurt more than getting fired

You’d thought that after six months of filming

Six months of talking to each other and being there for one another

That he would’ve done something - anything - to show you he was worried, that he cared about you

But no

Nothing

It killed you inside

Took your heart and twisted it until you couldn’t breathe, only releasing it to stab it over and over again

You hated this

So much

The pain of everything that happened consumed you to the point where you literally didn’t get out of bed for three days

It wasn’t until you literally started to get nauseous from not eating that you decided enough was enough

So you picked yourself up from the depths of despair all by yourself and started over again

You got up and showered, washing your skin free of all your feelings until it was red

You threw your clothes and bedding into the laundry machine and went to the kitchen in the first new pair of clothes you’d put on since you’d gotten back

It felt good in a way, moving forward, trying to leave the past behind

But part of you was still breaking over the fact that everything was over

How you’d probably never see the people you’d grown to care about so much again

Because they were global superstars and you were just you

You’d always had a feeling that you’d be left in the dust once this was over

That they were all just being nice because they had to see you all the time

But you couldn’t focus on that anymore

As much as it hurt, the past was the past

You had to focus on what was happening right now

What you could do to move forward

About a week after you’d been fired, you decided to finally go back to makeup

You’d cleaned up the small office space you used as your studio - washing your brushes, fixing your palettes and paints, organizing everything to set it up for how you normally did walkthroughs/tutorials

You were literally about to press record on your camera to start when you heard a knock on your door

You sighed

You really just wanted to be left alone with your makeup right now 😞

But then you remembered the new Mehron body paints you had ordered a few weeks back and realized it was probably them so you got up anyways

You trudged to your door, hair held back by a fuzzy headband and clad in a black tank top and your most embarrassing pajama pants because no one ever saw the bottom half of your body in your videos anyways

The knocking on your door got louder and you huffed out an “I’m coming” before reaching for the handle and swinging it open

You stopped dead in your tracks

The figure in front of you was dressed head to toe in black, hood pulled up over their head and a mask covering the bottom half of their face

Honest to god you had no idea who this strange person was judging from their getup alone

But their eyes?

You’d know those eyes anywhere

You could die and be reincarnated and in another life you’d still be able to recognize them

In all his glory and charm

Was Eren. Freaking. Yeager

And you

Beating the amazing talented beautiful dISASTER that you are

SLAMMED THE DOOR SHUT

Because oh my god????

What was he doing here????

How did he get your address??? Why didn’t he call or text??? Why was he literally on your doorstep oh my g o d?????

But then you realize you just shut the door on a literal global celebrity who probably risked a whole lot even just getting to your place so you take a few deep breaths and open the door

You don’t look at him again, just move to the side and gesture for him to come in quickly

You close the door behind him softly as he walks into your home

A weird feeling since your home is your safe space and you hardly let anyone into it

Eren had taken off his hood and mask and was standing in front of you with his hands in his pockets awkwardly

Like he was a middle schooler giving a presentation

You cleared your throat even more awkwardly

“What, uh… what are you doing here?”

He fiddled with his hands

“I wanted to see how you were doing.”

He shifted slightly

“... and I’m also on strike.”

You blinked

He was on what now?

“Eren, what? What do you mean you’re on strike?”

He sighed and pushed a few strands of hair away from his face

“After you left, the rest of the cast and I asked around to see what happened. Nobody would tell us until Armin did a little digging.

“He found out that you had been fired and replaced with someone else - one of the assistants that Esme brought with her this season.”

You nodded

You’d figured that one of the other artists or assistants would’ve taken your job

Eren continued, “You know those stalker fans? The ones that follow us around everywhere, show up at our houses sometimes, and try to get into every fan event and stuff?”

You nodded slowly, trying to understand where he was going

He let out a mirthless laugh

“Turns out that ‘assistant’ was actually one of them. She had been watching me for months, and I guess when she saw how close we were she got jealous. She was the one who went to the director and got you fired.”

He looked at you for a second, half expecting a reaction from you

But you sat in stunned silence as you tried to process his words

Eren sighed, “At first no one would tell me anything - about what happened with you, I mean. I asked everyone but no one seemed to know. But then the assistant… she kept saying things - weird things to me. She even followed me to my trailer one night after shooting and refused to leave when I asked her to. It was making me really uncomfortable so I told Mikasa and Armin about it.

“That’s when Armin started asking around about her and found out. After the truth came out, the director tried to support his decision about firing you, but none of the cast was comfortable with it so we refused to work until you were brought back. We’ve been on strike for almost five days now and no filming has been getting done. The director told me that I had to come and ask you back in person, so I’m here.”

You blinked

“I… Eren I don’t even know what to say…”

You ran a hand over your face and motioned for him to sit down on the couch

“First of all, I’m so sorry you had to go through that. I can’t imagine how scary it must be when fans like that are around, let alone in a position that close to you.

“Secondly, I appreciate all of you doing that for me, I really really do. More than you know. But it isn’t fair to ask you to do that.”

Eren opened his mouth to say something but you put a hand up

“You’ve all worked so hard to get to where you are, you shouldn’t throw it away for someone who is easily replaceable. I can’t ask to make my problem yours.”

Eren sat for a moment before taking your hands in his

His touch was so gentle, thumb caressing the back of your hand softly as if you were made from fine porcelain that would break if held too roughly

“That’s the thing, (Y/N), you aren’t replaceable. You’re what brings life to set every day, the reason so many of us are so happy this season even though we’re all exhausted. You make it a better place and us better people. So you aren’t asking us to do anything. When it comes to you, your problems become our problems too.”

He paused

“... they become mine too.”

The tentative tone in his voice made you meet his gaze

Those beautiful eyes that were so vibrant you couldn’t believe they were real

You swallowed

“Why?”

His lips turned up softly in a smile and his voice was no more than a whisper when he spoke next

“Because I love you”

Eren Jaeger stole the show at the 2022 Fritz Awards for The Arts ceremony held yesterday, not only for his turning heads with his excellently-tailored Armani suit and his famous "smize", but for bringing home 4 accolades of excellence for his role in the highest-selling movie of the year "The Basement Key". Jaeger, pictured barely getting to hold his trophies, couldn't conceal his happiness and excitement as he beamed from ear to ear, speaking to the media candidly during the post-ceremony press conference about how he didn’t expect to bring home any trophies and was just "excited to see all these amazing actors and stars". The rising superstar's name was consecutively called to receive the awards for Best Leading Actor, Actor of The Year, Best Actor in a Drama Film, and Outstanding Actor of The Year. You step out of your matte gray Honda Civic Type R and toss the keys to the valet in front of your parent’s art studio. It wasn’t the most impressive car that rolled up, but you didn’t care. Your style was always your own, and even though you could easily afford a Porsche, you didn’t bother. Just like you didn’t bother to wear noticeable designer clothes or carry a designer handbag. Of course, nothing you owned was cheap. Your evening gown was perfectly tailored, and custom made as were your matching shoes and handbag. You didn’t have to impress people or flaunt yourself to an unnecessary degree. Everyone in the art and fashion community that mattered knew who the heck you were, and you were most definitely respected despite your age.

“Y/N! Didn’t know you were back in town!” you heard someone say.

“Y/N, we’ve got to catch up!”

“Y/N, what are your thoughts on the recent jewelry show in Paradis?”

You offered a smile and a few comments before heading inside. The place was crowded already, but it didn’t bother you. You knew your way around and you navigated through the people with professional ease. You knew how to make an abrupt, impactful conversation that would linger on the minds of the studio’s guests. You also knew exactly where the bar was and that absolutely had to be your first stop before heading to see your friend on his big night. Jean Kirstein had his first real art showing and it was all because of you.

“Merlot and a shot of Schnapps please,” you tell the bar tender. Your eyes scan the crowd as they mingled with one another before the show. Writer’s and bloggers were interviewing critics and other big names that showed up to view the young man’s art. Women were wooing potential sugar daddies. Older women were looking for young meat. Older gentlemen were conversing with their adorably clueless, big breasted side pieces while they twirled their hair and giggled at every little word. Waiters and waitresses were moving through the crowd with fluid precision. Glasses were clinking, music was playing. The studio was the way it’s always been, and you found it amusing.

“Here you go ma’am.”

You mutter a quick thanks after you take both the wine glass and the shot off with you into the direction of the back prep rooms. Your heels clack across the ground with purpose and you stop right outside one of the occupied rooms.

“Jean?”

“Yeah. In here.”

“Are you nervous?” you ask as you slide in and present him the shot glass.

Jean Kirstein looks up at you after he takes a deep breath, almost sighing with relief that you’re here. And with alcohol to boot. He takes the shot of Schnapps you pass him and downs it. “What Me? Nah. It’s not like this is my first art show or something. Why should I be nervous?”

You raise your brow skeptically and note the bead of sweat on the young man’s brow. He gives you a little laugh and runs his fingers through his ash-blonde locks. “Ah, fuck me, Y/N. I’m about as nervous as a whore in church.”

You cover your mouth and try your best to stop the wine you were drinking from coming back up and pelting your friend’s suite front. Seeing your reaction makes him ease up just a bit more. “You’ve been hanging around Sasha Braus’s family too much. “

“Yeah, I’ve picked up a few sayings…but, seriously. I am nervous. My friends are here. Big names in the art community are present. You’ve got the press here. This is such a big deal for me. I’m so thankful that you convinced your parents to let me show my art at their studio. It’s rare that an undergraduate gets this sort of opportunity.”

“Think nothing of it Jean,” you reassure. “I’m glad we stayed in contact even after I graduated. I’m always happy to help a friend. But, I have to know, is your muse showing up?”

Jean looked to the side for a moment. “Well, about that…”

You set your glass down and give him your full attention. “Don’t tell me…”

“I haven’t spoken to her in a few weeks. She’s invited, but I doubt she comes. Truth be told…I’m starting to regret ignoring some red flags I saw when we first got together.”

“Hey, sometimes we do stupid shit when we’re in love. Maybe it’ll all work out. Come on, let’s get your mind set on the art show. We’ll go for drinks later, celebrate its success and pick back up on the whole relationship drama. Right now, I need you to focus.”

“You always know how to set folks straight,” Jean sighed. “Alright, head on out while I clear my mind and go over my speech one more time. I’m almost ready.”

“Gotcha. It’s lively out there and I guess I need to converse a bit more. Maybe butter up some of the critics for you.” You give Jean a wink and slip out the door to give him some much needed privacy. The moment you hear the latch catch behind you, a sigh escapes your lips, and you shake your head. “Damn, definitely not a time to say I told you so but…ah, Jean, you’re a hopeless romantic. I told you she was just using you as a rebound.”

You had to let Jean learn the hard way though. He was younger than you and he was just a senior at your old alma mater. You met him while you were taking a few elective classes to finish up your own art degree when he came in as a freshman. Unlike him, your medium wasn’t a large canvas, nor did you create sculptured pieces. You were a jewelry designer and a damn good one. You stayed friends and kept in touch even when you were picked up by Signet Significant, the leading jewelry design company in the world. And you were now one of their top designers.

Your name was out there, and you had your connections, so when Jean stated he needed to showcase his art for his final grade his senior year, you suggested your parent’s art studio, which had a huge reputation among Marley’s fine arts community. Only the big names got to show here and for a student like Jean Kirsten who was unknown and undiscovered, this was a dream come true. Everything was riding on tonight. You knew he had the talent. Even your parents agreed he had the talent. Your heart was racing the minute they gave the okay for him to show because he deserved to be recognized. He was a sweet, good natured guy with humble beginnings.

You, on the other hand, always had a life of luxury. You also worked your ass off to get where you were, determined not to fall into the pit of nepotism. And for that, you held your chin up high and your stride was always confident. You turned heads wherever you went, especially tonight with your evening gown with its swooping neckline all to showcase your latest design with its dazzling blue sapphires and aquamarines.

Tonight was all about Jean, but you had no shame when it came to a little self-promotion. And the art bloggers, designers, and the like always had something to say. So, you gave them a smile, and when approached, you answered a few questions about the piece. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement and the live smooth jazz music just made the whole experience right.

That’s when you notice him. The awkward blonde who looked completely out of place. He was dressed up to match the events dress code, but his face is what gave him away. He didn’t look like the type to be interested in these sort of events. He hung out near the back alone with a wine glass in his big hand. Those hands certainly weren’t for creating art, but you noticed a ring on one of his fingers. A championship ring, and it was one that you remember working on for your alma mater’s football team after they won last season. That’s when you realized, he was the much hyped, talented quarterback who would be drafted into the professional league before he graduated, Reiner Braun. And the only reason you noticed him, was because he was looking at you first.

You were a few years older than him, but that wasn’t about to stop you from saying hello. Especially not when those golden eyes reminded you of high grade of golden beryl or citrine. You couldn’t decide. It didn’t matter. You had to get a closer look because your designer cogs were starting to turn, and he might be your next inspiration.

“You look a bit lonely back here,” you say as you take the spot beside him. “Were you dragged her against your will or something?”

He smiled and you were reminded of the brilliant pearls found and grown in the country of Hizuru. The way his eyes sparkled put every gem you’d ever seen to shame. And you’ve seen some extraordinary pieces. “No, I willingly came. I wanted to support the artist. He’s a longtime friend of mine. We went to school together, now we attend the same college together. Jean’s always had my back, so I wanted to return the favor.”

“Huh, strange that we haven’t met,” you say. “Jean’s a good friend of mine.”

“Ah, you must be Y/N then,” Reiner said. “I knew I recognized you from somewhere. Might I just say…the pictures I’ve seen of you don’t do you any proper justice.”

You flash him a smile before you spoke. “Smooth and handsome. I like it…”

“Reiner Braun,” he said when he noted your pause and realized he needed to properly introduce himself. Of course, you knew his name, you just wanted to give him a chance to tell you. “I’m Marley University’s quarterback.” He paused and averted his eyes for a moment. “Well, I was…”

“Was? You aren’t playing anymore?”

“Tore my ACL first game of the season,” he sighed. “I had a few more injuries prior. Honestly, it was only a matter of time. Those days are over now. At least I got some good memories and a championship ring out of it.”

“I hate that happened to you. Did you have a backup plan?”

“Yeah, I’d be a fool if I didn’t. It’ll take me a little longer, but I’m finishing with a business and finance degree. What about you? Jean didn’t go into detail about you, other than you’ve known one another for awhile and your parents own the studio.”

“Well, you see that ring you have on your finger?”

Reiner raised his brow and brought his hand up. He rotated it, allowing the gems to catch in the overhead light. “My championship ring? What about it?”

“I designed it.”

A grin crept across his face as he met your gaze. “Incredible…”

“I think it’s a nice piece, certainly,” you say casually.

“No, not the ring. You…”

You found yourself blushing and that was odd because you never cared for flattery or anything of that sort, mostly because it came from people who were kissing your ass or trying to get on your good side. But, hearing something like that from a man with no understanding of your career or your name, affected you greatly. That’s because it was genuine. The way his eyes lingered on you made you all the more interested in the former football star of Marley University.

So, you stood with him for a bit longer and got to know him. He enjoyed quick witted banter. He enjoyed that you understood his sport and his passion. He enjoyed that you listened to him. For some reason, you felt that he didn’t get to do a lot of talking. You weren’t sure why. Something about the way his eyes sparkled when you left the floor open for him to tell you things made your intuition pop off about that assumption.

“It’s almost time for the show to start. Want to go fill your glass beforehand? I know I need another drink.”

“I should probably go see where my date ran off to,” he tells you. Your heart sinks and you notice the look on his face. He doesn’t want to depart from your conversation. You can tell he wants to go with you more than anything, but you can’t blame him for wanting to do the right thing. Then again, he was tossing you so many complements that it never crossed your mind that he might be here with someone.

“What sort of person leaves a good-looking guy like you by themselves, anyway?”

“It’s nothing new. Christa often leaves me on my own and gets mad if I accompany her while she makes her social rounds,” Reiner told you. “Though, she’s done this more often now that I’m no longer on the team and considered for the professional league.”

You understood immediately what sort of person his date was, and you realized your observation about him never being able to speak probably had something to do with her. Before you could say anything, your eyes caught someone arriving late. You almost drop your purse when you realized who it was. Mikasa Ackerman, Jean’s muse…and she was with a man. “Shit.”

Reiner’s gaze followed yours and he understood immediately why you swore. He sucked in the air around him and held his breath. Mikasa was with Eren Yeager, her previous love before getting with Jean. “I knew it,” he groaned. “I knew he was a rebound.”

“You told him too, huh?”

“Yeah, multiple times.”

“The aud-“

“Reiner, love! There you are! I was looking all over for you.” Both of you turn in the direction that you heard the voice call out. You met the brilliant blue eyes of a blonde-haired woman with her hair done up like a princess. She wore designer everything and she flaunted it to an annoying degree. Her voice was sickly sweet, and you noted the look behind her eyes more than anything. She screamed manipulator. “Who’s this?”

She stared between the two of you for a moment and then her eyes locked and stayed on you, demanding an answer. That’s when you remembered you saw her earlier before stepping into Jean’s prep room. She was sneaking off with one of your more wealthy, notable guests to do who knows what. And that’s why Reiner Braun was left standing here alone.

“This is-.”

“I didn’t ask you, Reiner,” Christa snapped.

Reiner looked away and you raised your brow. Seems Jean isn’t the only one who needs to learn from their relationship issues. Still, you give the woman a charming smile and introduce yourself. “My name is Y/N. I’m a long-time friend of Jean’s and my parent’s own this art studio. I was simply making the rounds and speaking with the guests before the show started.”

“Wait, Y/N? You’re the jewelry designer, aren’t you? I’ve got a few of your pieces. They get me the best complements. Say, that one on your neck…has it been released?”

“Not yet. This is the only one made right now. It’ll debut in stores in the Spring.”

“Reiner! Please, I must have it!” she squealed. “Oh, please, please for our anniversary.”

“I don’t…think I can afford that right now,” he said quietly. “I’m still paying off your other piece.”

“Way to embarrass me like always,” Christa snapped.

“That necklace is worth 3,000.00 Marley Notes,” you say. “How could you possible expect a college student to afford-“

“His family has money,” she quickly said. “Lots of it. He doesn’t have to work, but he does it anyway.”

“Sounds like he just wants to be responsible,” you say. Reiner shifted uncomfortably and averted his eyes. It was clear he was embarrassed. You empathized with him, but you had to figure out how to warn Jean about Mikasa. You didn’t want him to step out and see her with someone without giving him a heads up.

“I’m going to get another drink,” Christa announced. “You should probably be going too.”

For a second, you thought she was talking to Reiner, but you realized she was talking to you and it took everything you had in your being not to put the little bitch in her place. You could have ruined her right there and called her out for sneaking into a room with some other man, but that wouldn’t be good. Reiner wouldn’t appreciate it. He would be further embarrassed and you would be embarrassed for him. The poor guy already had enough on his plate.

“Right, I was just heading off anyway,” you say nicely. “It was a pleasure to meet you both.” You extend your hand to Christa first and she gives it a half-assed grasp and shake. Then you went to Reiner. He took your hand, and it almost took your breath away because of how gentle his touch was. He griped you firmly, but more so in this appreciative way that made it seem as though he didn’t want to let go. And you could tell by the look in his eyes that he didn’t. You could tell he wanted to know more about you. It was Christa clearing her throat that broke the spell between the two of you.

“It was a pleasure to meet you, Y/N,” he said as both of you reluctantly let go. You turned and walked away, only to hear Christa mouth of to the gentle giant further. ‘Stay away from her’, you hear and you knew what game you wanted to play tonight, but that would be after you prepared Jean with the news of Mikasa’s arrival.

You made your way back toward the prep room and you did your best to dodge conversation, but you couldn’t be rude. You had to use your best tactics to get through the crowd. When you finally broke away to beeline to Jean’s room you noticed someone following behind you. Their hurried heavy footfalls got your attention first. “Y/N, wait!”

“Mr. Braun, you’re suppose to be staying away from me,” you playfully reply over your shoulder.

You saw the man blush and he paused to rub the back of his neck. “I just wanted to come with you to give Jean a heads up and offer my support.”

“Shit, hold on then,” you say as you make a quick detour to the bar. While the bar tender was turned, you leaned over and snatched up a small bottle of whiskey like it was no big deal.

“Perks for owning the place, huh?” Reiner asked.

“You know it, pretty boy,” you say with a wink.

“Are you flirting with me?”

“Weren’t you flirting with me? I’m just returning what I feel you’re owed.” All Reiner could do was smile as you both high tailed it to Jean’s room. He was coming out the door and adjusting his suite jacket when the two of you swooped down on him and pushed him back in.

“Y/N, Reiner? What the…what’s going on?” he stammered.

“We gotta talk,” Reiner said first. You present him the bottle of whiskey and he places his hand up to refuse your offer.

“You’re gonna need it,” you tell him as you undo the top. “God knows I already do.”

“Guys…what’s happening?” Jean asked as his expression became serious.

Reiner motions for the bottle after you take a quick swig. “So, Mikasa is here…”

“T-That’s great! I…I honestly can’t believe she came.”

“Oi, calm down,” Reiner huffs as he averts his eyes. He cleared his throat before continuing. “She’s here with Eren.”

You watched as the sparkle in Jean Kirstein’s eyes faded along with his gentle, warm smile. It was honestly heartbreaking to see the man’s foundation crack and crumble before your eyes. All Reiner could do was gingerly hold out the bottle for him. Jean’s lip twitched and you knew the break down was coming.

You heard the music stop outside and you realized it was time for the show, but Jean wasn’t in the proper state of mind to give his presentation. Reiner looked at you, questioning what should be done. You met his gaze while you worked out a plan. You had to save this for Jean. A small, audible noise that sounded like a creaking gate vibrated from Jean’s throat. You didn’t have time to develop an elaborate plan. Luckily, Reiner looked more than ready to assist with whatever you came up with.

“Right, I know the outline of his speech. I’ve heard it enough and I can go get this moving for him. Can I count on you to watch over him and maybe try to pull him together?”

Reiner looked at you in awe and then, this determined expression formed on his face. “I can try to get him calmed down, maybe stable enough to join you up there. You sure you’ve got this Y/N?”

“In the bag, babe,” you say as you flip your hair and prepare yourself mentally. The words for your improv speech were already formulating in your mind, and you leave the room for the second time that night. You hear the murmur echoing from the main hall. People were wanting to know what was going on. Specifically, they wanted to know why Mr. Jean Kirstein wasn’t at the podium. You marched right up to their and took the microphone and with your clear voice you brought the show to life.

“Welcome all to the unveiling of ‘An Evening in Hizuru.’ I am pleased to begin this evenings showing as its guest speaker. Normally, our artist presents first, but we’ve decided to change things up. I wanted to personally introduce this young artist. He is a dear friend of mine and a student, yes, you heard me. He is still a student at Marley University. These brilliant pieces are a product of young, raw, undiscovered talent and you all get the privilege to experience him at this debut. “

You notice the whisper immediately. Critics were skeptical beings and with Jean being so young and unproven, they were ready to tear him apart. You could see them arming their tongues like missiles. But you were observant and armed with words of your own. “It is unheard of that our studio hosts an unknown artist, let alone a student. You’ve been coming here for years, and you know that my family would not agree to display just any work of art. Our criteria for showing have always been intense. I know because I’ve read many upset comments from artists that we’ve turned down. So, understand that what you see and experience tonight not only met our criteria, but surpassed it.”

That rationalization seemed to fight back the bitter tongues of the critic beasts. The reputation of the studio could not be denied. And neither could you as you connected and described a new tale for Jean’s art. His speech would go on to introduce his muse and his inspiration brought on by his feelings for her. Instead, you took your own experience in Hizuru and painted a picture of Jean diving into the culture and history on his own. You were careful with your wording, so he was free to fill in whatever he wanted in the near future, whether it was revealing that Mikasa had been part of his inspiration or not. You had the crowd engaged and intrigued about Jean Kirstein and he wasn’t even present.

Reiner comforted the sobbing mess of a man the best he could in the backroom. He listened to Jean just as much as he listened to you through the wall.

“Why was I not good enough?” Jean cried out as he sobbed into his friend’s chest. “Why am I always second to Eren?”

“Jean…you are good enough.” Reiner gently told him. “You’ve got a lot of heart and you’ve always been head strong and honest. It’s her loss for not seeing these qualities in you.” Reiner knew his words were falling on deaf ears. All he could do is sit with him while he unleashed his pain. He didn’t care if his dress shirt was ruined. Reiner was also an emotion man and Jean had seen him break down on a few occasions.

He offered a word here and there, but he knew his role was to exist as a present anchor while Jean collected himself. So, his mind wandered to you. It was beautiful how you cared for your friends and stepped up when they needed you. You were out there saving Jean and he didn’t realize it. You came up with a solution on the fly and followed through and it was, just as he said earlier, incredible.

“W-where…is Y/N?” Jean suddenly questioned.

“Presenting your art. Making sure you have a future and supporting you. You weren’t kidding about her. Though…why you wanted us to meet…”

Jean sniffled as he considered his friend. “Because you deserve someone better than Christa. You deserve someone who is patient and doesn’t give a damn about being the “it” girl. You need someone who can see beauty in the dullest gemstone. And that is Y/N. She’s someone who can offer you direction and meaning. I just know it.”

“You sound like you have feelings for her,” Reiner muttered.

“No, I just know her, and I know you. I’ve wanted you two to meet for so long because in my mind you were perfect for one another. Bringing you together because of your combined help and how you both believed in me was the ideal thank you to you both. Especially you, Reiner. I wanted you to be happy because…I knew…I knew what Mikasa was doing just like you know what Christa is doing. This stupid art show…I could go out there and burn every fucking painting that she influenced, but…if you and Y/N end up hitting it off. If you end up finally happy…that will be my magnum opus.”

A round of applause erupted from outside and Jean wiped his tears away. “Reiner…I’m going out there. I’m going to present my art. I’m going to do what I need to do.” He paused and laughed through his shinning eyes. “I didn’t have to introduce the two of you…you met each other naturally. Kinda like I pictured. You’d just gravitate towards one another. Opposites, yet fitted together so perfectly. She won’t care if you don’t go on to play professionally. She won’t speak over you. She won’t belittle you. She won’t remind you of your failures. She won’t torment you mentally. You can just be you…and I’ll get my shit together and find someone who values me too.”

“Jean…”

“Just…don’t let this opportunity slip, idiot. Thank you for being a bro and not judging me for showing my emotions.” Jean straightened his suite jacket and furrowed his brow. “I’m not going to let Y/N down either. Time to pull my weight.”

Both men walked out of the room and Reiner stood off to the side while Jean waited for you to announce his take over of the presentation. You noticed him in you field of vision immediately. Without any sort of awkward pause, you transitioned your speech and welcomed him to the podium. Applause rang out and you stepped down to give your friend his moment to shine.

Reiner handed you a glass of water and you couldn’t help but smile at his attentive courtesy. “I think we might have saved him,” you say after a long drink. “I mean look at him up there…he’s giving his all. Only the two of us know what’s going on for real.”

“Y/N…you’re a good person. I wish we had met sooner. I think…I’d have a healthier view of life if we did.”

“Well, we’re meeting now, yeah?”

“Yeah…but, I’m spoken for. Christa and I have been together since high school.”

“Doesn’t seem to stop her from doing what she wants. I guess I understand your commitment. Still, you deserve better than that. Jean does too.”

“Did Jean…say something about her?” he asked quietly.

“No…it’s just something I observed.” You reach into your purse and pull out one of your business cards. “When you want to go searching for that healthier view of life, give me a call. I’d love to show you all the reason why life can beautiful despite its setbacks.”

Reiner took it from you and smiled as he thumbed over the raised lettering and numbers of your card. “I think I’ll take that drink with you now.”

While Jean poured his heart out on stage, you found yourself laughing and smiling with Reiner. You both kept a watchful eye on your friend just incase you needed to act quickly and come to his rescue. That was another similarity you shared. You were both protective of your friends and you both had this modern hero complex. Once Jean finished his presentation and after each piece was unveiled, you and Reiner met up with him before the Question-and-Answer portion with the critics and press. You helped Jean successful navigate through it all and Reiner watched you in awe. Your eyes gravitated to him often. The gentle support he offered you with just a simple expression made your heart flutter.

You decided, you wanted this man. You wanted to gaze into his eyes every morning. You wanted him with you for your own encouragement. You wanted to bring him with you and show him off. You wanted him to know he was important and had more value than anything you’d ever created and designed in your entire life. You wanted to show him the world and you wanted to give it to him. So, you would be patient and wait until he was ready because he was certainly worth waiting for.

You Can't Save Them All Prologue

Attack on Titan Modern Detective AU Hange Zoe x Fem! Reader Series Masterlist

Synopsis: Hange and the rest of the BAU take on the case of Y/n L/n, an international superstar who is being plagued with a relentless stalker.

Prologue

"I like when you get mad"

Hange Zoe scrambled into the conference room where her coworkers awaited her arrival. The entire Behavioral Analysis Unit has been chattering and gossiping about the latest case revolving around the international superstar Y/n L/n. Hange, knowing nothing about the woman, was absolutely clueless as to why everyone was making such a big fuss over things, but she figured she would be briefed for hours on this girl by the unit supervisor Erwin Smith, so there was no need to do any outside research just yet.

As Hange entered the room and took her seat, Erwin sent her a curt nod and began the meeting.

"I'm sure everyone is familiar with the case that we have been given so let's dive right into it. Y/n L/n, lead singer in the band 'Corruption at its Finest' has been dealing with a stalker recently. Unlike any ordinary case, this case is to be handled at top-level security because of the status of this celebrity which is why we were brought in instead of the local police force," Erwin begins.

Hange looks at the image on the projector and sees the h/c female who looks to be in her early twenties. As Hange looked through the folder with all of the images for facial recognition, she noticed a few things. The dark circles under her eyes that were poorly concealed, the lack of a smile in any of the pictures, and the cold dead look in her eyes. Just looking at the pictures sent a shiver down her spine.

What the hell happened to her that made her seem so lifeless?

"I can't believe I'm going to get a chance to meet her. I've been a fan of her since I was in middle school!" Armin Arlert, the technical analyst exchanged conversation with Historia Reiss, the communication and media liaison.

Historia smiled and nodded her head enthusiastically, obviously agreeing with Armin's statement.

Eren Yeager, a rookie field agent fresh out of training, rolled his eyes at the two.

"Are you guys seriously fangirling over her? She literally looks brain dead in most of these pictures. A drug addict if I've ever seen one. The only reason she isn't labeled as one is because of her status," Eren scoffed.

Hange listened carefully between the exchanged that the other agents had and realized she had no idea who this superstar was.

"I'm sorry but, I've never heard any of her music," Hange retorts sheepishly.

Armin and Historia's eyes widened at Hange's lack of knowledge of the superstar and Eren rolled his eyes yet again. Mikasa shot an apologetic smile to Hange as if she knew what was going to happen next.

"Come on four-eyes, you're telling me you've never heard of her? Even I have and I just switched to a smartphone from a blackberry a few months ago," Levi chides, making Hange laugh.

Armin and Historia rush over to Hange and Historia pulls out her phone.

"You have to listen to her songs! She's literally amazing. There's a reason she's been nominated for a Grammy every year since her debut in high school," Historia explains.

Hange looks at the contents on Historia's phone and sees a music video being pulled up.

"The goodbyes are getting old, Next time you can go ahead and go I'm tired of begging you to love me"

Hange notes the restraints on the young girl in the video and takes note of the minimal visual effects which adds to the eeriness of the song.

"Why do I cry to sleep? Goodness gracious I'm replaceable You say that I'm too crazy. I guess you were right I guess you were right"

"Well this girl is obviously facing some unresolved trauma. Maybe from a past relationship? We can start there. If her songs are a direct representation of her feelings, then there's evidence of obvious gaslighting and emotional manipulation. Whoever was the influence behind this song could possibly be our lead," Hange interjects when Historia pauses the video.

"That's a good connection Zoe," Erwin remarks.

"Well we have a lot of exes to sort through. She previously dated the bassist in her band Jean Kirstein, and there's an on and off platonic relationship with her best Ymir Fritz. Those are the most recent ones but they started dating after this song came out," Armin chided.

"I can't believe you guys are whipped for this woman and you haven't even met her," Eren scoffed.

Hange quirked an eyebrow at Eren's foul mood, but eventually brushed it off.

"Well I think it's very interesting and I think the better we understand how she became the girl we see in the pictures from today, the easier we can establish a connection between her and the stalker. It could be someone close to her," Hange retorts.

Levi gives Hange a knowing look.

"I understand you want to help her, but this is strictly for the case shitty glasses. Don't go getting attached to her with your hero complex. We don't have the time nor resources to save every overworked celebrity that develops a drug addiction," Levi says.

"I'm not trying to save her! I'm just interested," Hange defends.

Erwin notes the exchange between the two and nods his head, agreeing with Levi.

"Just remember Hange, this case comes first and personal feelings come after. You can't save them all, especially when they don't want to be saved," Erwin says.

A/N I'm actually really excited for this fic! It's the shortest one so the chapters will be a lot longer than the rest. I can't wait for you guys to read the finished product!

Even More AOT Reality AU shit

Some more headcanons for y’all

- Prior to the show, Eren was part of another very well known reality show which serves as a prequel to this one called Tokyo Kids (which is anime Jersey Shore xD) where he and Armin were part of an ensemble cast. (Yup now you know how the Trost show actually came about.)

- Mikasa was salty about not being in the Tokyo Kids show and shoehorned herself in there using her dad’s connections much to Levi’s horror.This is part of why Eren and Armin act like bitches towards her both on and off screen

- Eren’s rival from Tokyo Kids is Kaneki Ken ironically and said boy happens to be Eren’s main chart rival

- Kaneki himself also scored a spinoff centered around himself and his hometown called Anteiku

- Both Anteiku and Living in Trost fanbases have a heated rivalry just like the two main protagonists themselves

- The other rival is Lelouch and he too has his own show called Life of Zero which is also thrown into the mix. These shows are referred to as the Big Three of Reality TV. The three protagonists are referred to collectively by the media as The Three Heavenly Kings of Pop.

- One thing that everyone from all these shows can agree on is that Mikasa is a menace. So expect crossover episodes with all three shows with Lelouch, Kaneki and Eren putting aside their differences for a while and come up with complicated plans to take down Mikasa to varying degrees

- Yup almost everyone hates Mikasa and later Gabi.

- One person all three hate even more than Mikasa that occasionally causes problems for all three of them is none other than Light Yagami

- Light was the resident torublemaker on Tokyo Kids hence the animosity.

- The occupations of the gang in this verse (Pretty much everyone is involved with the entertainment industry in some shape or form):

Eren: reality tv star, actor, pop star extraordinaire, badass dancer, occasional supermodel xD

- Photoshoots are a big must especially for the vain kids like Eren and Jean xD.

- Expect a gazillion of selfies especially from Ereri and Jean

- Beach episodes are another excuse for fanservice

- One of the most memorable episodes is the special karaoke episode where the artistes amongst the cast have to sing their own songs. Historia is a bit embarassed at first but after some coercing from Ymir, Eren and Levi, she finally agrees

- The most talked segment is obviously Eren’s performance where he pulls some sick Michael Jackson moves with a fedora and jacket xD. Mikasa was so pissed that she snatched the microphone and tries to sing but fails because she cannot sing at all, earning a lot of laughs from everyone and literally embarrassing herself in front of everyone

- The entire DC and Marvel verse particularly the Batfamily are huge fans of the show. So imagine the kids especially talking about the show during patrol

- “Guys did y’all see that episode where Historia beat up Mikasa?!”

“OMG!! I saw that!! Bitch deserves it though!!”

“Wait...so the Big Three are teaming up huh? About fucking time!!”

- Bruce won’t admit it but he binge watches the show secretly when the kids aren’t there and occasionally discusses it with Alfred

-Damian won’t admit it too but he also likes the show particularly the way Eren fires back at those that try to piss him off. He can relate with that.

Alright folks buckle up bc it’s time for part 2

Okay so as filming started you and Eren got to be really close

Like best friends close

You two were around each other for most of the day bc you had to put his makeup on and constantly reapply or do touch ups throughout shooting

So naturally you guys talked and got to know each other and found out you had a lot in common

And Mikasa, Sasha, and Hange all hung out with you on a normal basis

And wherever they were the rest of the main cast was soon to follow

So by default you just kinda joined the friend group of actors

Which felt super weird bc come on these are global superstars and you’re just you

A person that likes to do makeup :)

Honestly sometimes it messed with you bc you thought they were just doing it out of pity or some kind of obligation they felt

But you just tried to enjoy it bc once filming was over they might never wanna see you again yk

Even though you had another season after this one bUT YOURE JUST THINKING AHEAD OKAY

But as filming starts to progress you can see that it’s taking a toll on him

You have to add extra concealer under his eyes to hide the dark circles that are getting worse and worse as the weeks go by

You have to start bringing him more skin products to use because the lack of sleep and stress is irritating his skin

And irritated skin doesn’t like makeup 😡

But there’s one particular instance that makes you really concerned

You guys had an eighteen hour shoot day

Everyone was on set by five to start filming by six and you wrapped up around midnight

You were lucky the director had scheduled the next day to be a no film day months ago because everyone was exhausted

Especially Eren

He had been shooting for about fourteen of the eighteen hours, only taking breaks to eat, get his makeup done, go over fight choreography, or nap

Tbh you had barely spoken to him all day ‘cause he was falling asleep in the makeup chair and you wanted him to rest

Poor baby was so overworked it hurt

But usually every time shooting is over he comes back to you and you take his makeup off

The first day you did it just to show him how to do it on his own

What products to use and in what order to make sure he got everything off

But it just kinda became a therapeutic routine

You two would chat or listen to some calming music or just enjoy each other’s presence as you helped him

But today he didn’t

You actually didn’t even see where he had gone after the director called a wrap on everything

He just like disappeared

And you were confused bc like

Eren never missed an opportunity to talk to you

Ever

So now you were lowkey panicking

Had you done something to make him uncomfortable? Had he finally had enough of you and gotten tired of pretending to enjoy your presence? Had you said something that offended him and you didn’t know it?

You kinda had to mentally smack yourself and tell yourself to stop thinking only about you bc the truth was that Eren was wiped

So many thoughts were inside your head as you packed up your things

You were putting your brushes away when you saw a small container in your bag full of food

During the dinner break you had asked catering if you could box some food for Eren for later since he hadn’t gotten to eat anything since lunch and they happily agreed and gave you a box before Sasha could commandeer the rest of the food for herself

You didn’t know where he had gone, but you knew that regardless he needed to eat

So you packed up your stuff and headed to his trailer

Which was lowkey scary in the middle of the night when it was pitch black outside but it’s okay you’re doing it for Eren

You got there and knocked on the door softly

The lights were on inside so he had to at least be home, if not still awake

But he didn’t answer

You knocked again, a little louder this time

Still no answer

So you just kind of looked down at the box in your hands and turned to walk away

But then you heard the door to the trailer swing open

You turned back around to see Eren still in the top half of his costume with sweatpants on, Titan marks you had drawn under his eyes smudged and hair disheveled

He looked so tired

But as soon as he saw you his posture softened

His shoulders and eyes drooped and he leaned against the doorframe for support

You sighed lightly before walking up the stairs and pulling him in the trailer

You dropped your bag to the floor and started getting the food ready

Eren slumped into the couch behind the kitchenette, eyes closed and ready to pass out

As you waited for the food to heat up, you took out some of the products and began gently removing the rest of his makeup

He didn’t even protest he just let his face rest in your hands as you worked

When you were done and the food was ready, you got up from your spot and threw away the wipes and cotton pads you’d used, ignoring Eren’s little whine as you grabbed a fork

You sat back down next to him and gestured to the food

“You need to eat, Eren. You haven’t eaten since 1 o’clock and that was nearly twelve hours ago.”

Your voice was soft but firm, letting him know that going to sleep without food was not an option as long as you were here

taking the reigns 😤

He nodded and took the fork and plate from you, eating slowly

You studied him as he ate and your heart broke a little

His eyes looked sunken and exhausted

His shoulders were slumped like he had two boulders hanging off them

You knew he must’ve been tired but you didn’t know he was this exhausted

Once he’d finished you took the plate and washed it before sitting back with him again

You two sat for a minute before you checked the time

“I should probably get going and let you sleep”

You didn’t wanna go

bc you really liked Eren and enjoyed his company

But you knew how tired you were and Eren must’ve felt that twice as much so you had to go and let him rest

Eren took your hand suddenly

The touch honestly took you by surprise

Not that it hadn’t happened before it was just odd in the moment

“I’m sorry for blowing you off today”

You shook your head and sat back down next to him

“You don’t need to apologize, Eren. I know you must be exhausted”

He nodded, let out a shaky breath and wiped his eyes with the back of his other hand

It took you a minute to realize he was crying

But it took you less than a second to wrap your arms around him and hold him

His crying was heartbreaking

You’d never seen him actually cry, only when he was acting

And while his acting was phenomenal it would never compare to how broken he sounded right now as he cried into your shoulder

Once he had calmed down he apologized

“I’m sorry, I just… I really want to do my best so I don’t disappoint anyone. But sometimes… sometimes I’m just so tired and there’s so much pressure and so many expectations that I don’t know what to do”

You nodded and stroked his hair with one hand, the other rubbing his back

“It’s okay to feel that way, especially with the role you have. You never have to be sorry about needing rest and relaxation.”

You sighed and hugged him tight

“You’re doing amazing, Eren.”

Eren sniffed and wrapped his arms and tighter around you in response

“The next time you feel this way, find me and I’ll help you through it. Even if you don’t wanna talk and just need someone to lean on, I’ll be there, okay?”

Eren nodded

“Thank you for being such a good friend, (Y/N). I don’t know what I’d do without you.”

Something inside you cracked

Like stone being split with a hammer

But you just smiled at him softly in response

Yeah

What would he do without a friend like you?
