Superhero rpg idea: tell your players it's a multiverse story. Everyone wants to be batman, so you make 5 alternate universe version of batman and give your players the character sheets.

You've got mech suit batman (batman beyond but a bit bulkier)

Barbarian Batman, who has a magic bat axe, given to him by the God of vengeance,

Dieselpunk Batman, who fights nazis with a bullet proof bat shaped shield,

Dark Claw, who was experimented on and given beastly super powers, like sonar, Beast strength, and actual claws,

and Huntress, the daughter of Batman who was trained to be an Assassin, and uses a bow and arrow to hunt those who killed her parents.

All of these Bat people want to avenge someone, so they can call themselves the Bat-Vengers.

I always do the exact same thing when starting a new Table Top Roleplay Game. I look at all the stats, abilities, and otherwise.

Then I make the single most unkillable man I can

I currently have the lowest armor possible, lowest damage you can get, and everything is the lowest it can be, save be one thing. I have triple the effective hit points of my other party members, and the ability to regenerate all of those effective hit points six times over, meaning I have effectively almost 300 hit points before I go down when you normally have about 20.

A modern Brooklyn & Queens New York superhero sourcebook. Had material for both OSR and FASERIP games. It opens with a little discussion of system and adaptations, then goes into about 40 pages of superbeings (heroes & villains), notable NPCs, and organizations. That’s followed by a dozen pages of location information broken down by neighborhoods and sites. Finally there’s about ten pages of adventure seeds. I’m a little surprised there’s not more focus on location info overall. Really striking cover.   (part of an ongoing series from ageofravensgames.com)

This event, deemed the First Light, began a series of much stranger phenomena — rifts opening up the skies, mysterious new lifeforms, and humans gifted with hypernatural abilities. With Kingdom Corporation marketing Radianite as a safe, clean energy source, they revolutionized the modern world. Although some disagree that the progress made was done in the world's best interest — and so the Valorant Protocol was formed; a secret organization to safeguard the world against these new dangers. A battle continuously wages on in the shadows between these two global forces, with the city of Halcyon unwittingly at its core.

𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓 𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 is a Valorant-based superpower roleplay group with inspiration taken from other superpowered media. Writers do not need to have knowledge of the game in order to join, as much of the preexisting lore has been rewritten to facilitate creative expression — and will continue to be via member driven plot lines. We will welcome original characters only to explore a unique urban setting, combining map concepts from the game with a futuristic New York City, where characters will have the choice of aligning their associations with established organizations or remaining unaffiliated to enjoy the technological oasis that is Halcyon.

This tyrannical steroid-filled mutant is full of so many enhancers he appears as a demon. He rules over the Ogres, a gang on the coast of El Milagro full of mutant giants just like him.
