Okay, can someone tell me a poptropica villain that the player knocks out with their bare hands? I don’t mean using things such as magic or rocks etc. to knock them out, I mean we punch them and they’re out cold.

Cuz I keep thinking about how Copy Cat is the only one we actually do that to off the top of my head and I can’t remember if we do that to ANY of the other villains, not even the other villains on the same island (which we knock out via other methods including having someone else do it for us).

Since I can’t remember, it has fueled my rambling for this post where I’m going to spill my thoughts for why.

So Copy Cat makes identical copies of herself that disappear when the player grabs(?) said copy on Super Power Island, that’s her power. The player has to get all of them before finding the real Copy Cat, who is proceeded to be knocked out cold and the player does not need to cuff her to place her in jail. Now hear me out, I don’t think the player intended to actually knock her out. Catch her and send her to jail? Absolutely. But they weren’t expecting the Copy Cat that they had knocked out to actually be the real Copy Cat.

But then why was the player able to knock her out if they thought she would just disappear?

Pure frustration at all the copies laughing at them mixed with panic at the building filling with smoke makes for the answer of adrenaline filled punches, which are used for every copy except the first few. So when the player can barely see at the point of confronting Copy Cat, they’re already running at her and are expecting her to disappear, which would make for a really good punch. Except that one connected, and it’s a moment of “Oh wait, I just punched the real one.“

But that’s just my thoughts on the whole thing. Again, I can’t remember if we did this to any other villain and I’m really curious to know if Copy Cat’s actually the only one or not.

Able to control any rat as along as it’s within his range.

Loves racing.

Green is his natural hair color.

Can match the speed of a race-car.

Dog person.

Betty Jetty:

Her natural hair color is pink.

Younger sister to Ned Noodlehead.

Flew a small plane without a lisense.
