i might just be a little late to the party, but you know how the marauders fandom has made all these jegulus takes on magnum's starchaser and sunlover ice creams? THEY KNOW!
ever since seeing their reply to this comment on one of their instagram posts, i am scared and excited to see if they will actually make a wolfstar ice cream, and, if they do, how it'll be
Hc that the marauders are in McGonagall's class and she's explaining the regular verbs ('cause Peter said a word wrong or idk) and have everyone copy various examples and such and instead of writing “regular” she wrote “reg” so James drew a little heart next to it and Sirius was like -Are you in love with words? Are you Moony?- While Remus is hitting him (playfully) with a book for not realizing it and for making fun of him :)
Regulus' conviction that he's unlovable and so he froze his heart to keep anyone from getting to him and then James the literal sun in human form comes in and boom melts him right away, no warnings
aghtgcmmewa i love then so much, you don’t understand
Regulus has a journal where he writes his shittalking instead of saying it to people’s faces. In confusing his journal for his school notes the journal gets leaked and his thoughts on everyone are all over the school.
People get invested in the well written dragging of their classmates, but are more interested to find the author clearly having very strong feelings towards a certain Gryffindor head boy.
James being super fixated on astrology and his favorite star being the one called Regulus, because he is proud Gryffindor and Regulus is lion's heart. Little did he know he would merry a boy named Regulus.
jegulus Christmas dance au where regulus is a ballet dancer with an injury and James and sirius have a dance school in the poor part of London that is at the verge of being closed and regulus can't dance one part of the Nutcracker but can't back down and asks sirius to dance it for him but sirius refuses and so James steps in with a deal that if regulus helps him save the school he will dance it and they fall in love
Like these are 2 fictional characters that didn't once meet canonically, one died young and the other married happily. (IN CANON) and yet you have an entire group of people, drawing fanart, writing fics and making up headcanons.
And I wouldn't have it any other way. The headcanons are canon to me now. Sorry not sorry.
