dice josé josé que el que quiere pretende vivir y nunca sufrir, a diferencia del que ama (que podemos inferir que pretende morir y sufrir) y, si bien preferiría no asimilar al amor como una manipulación vinculada a la muerte y al sufrimiento, lo cierto es que el amor al jugar futbol se siente así.

yo no sé de dónde sacan las fuerzas mis piernas y brazos para levantarse en domingo a las 7 de la mañana para salir a jugar, habiendo perdido nuestros últimos cuatro partidos (hemos jugado cinco), pero sucede. es como el veracruz cuando jugó, prácticamente, todo el torneo sin recibir ningún salario. o los gallos blancos del querétaro, quienes hasta se pusieron a vender bonice con tal de subsistir y seguir jugando. o como entrar a cualquier relación a sabiendas de que en cualquier momento te puede explotar en la cara.

pero supongo, por más cursi que parezca, que así es el amor por el futbol. es tener un espacio de comunidad con emociones y deseos compartidos, donde inevitablemente se busca que la victoria y el gozo se antepongan a la derrota y la tristeza. pero, de nuevo, tal vez toda esa artimaña de emociones no sean más que la señal del amor, y eso siquiera debe valer de algo. deséenos suerte hoy, amables lectorxs.
