a/n ➵ okay so this time my friend helped me choose the characters, hence the random assortment! i'll be writing two female characters this time too! i've never written a female character so here goes nothing!! enjoy 🤍

kaeya - 凯亚 ➵

when kaeya wakes you up, it's always in a teasing, flirty way

imagine him locking you into a cage, ensuring that there's absolutely no way you can get out

before leaning down and kissing your neck and face and basically anywhere else he can reach

in his opinion, you look so adorably innocent, even more so when you're sleeping and you can't defend yourself

he'll whisper close into your ear with his deep, husky voice, cool breath hitting against the shell of your ear

"hehh...y/n, wake up...unless, of course, there are other activities you'd prefer doing in bed?"

he would watch as you struggle underneath him

trying desperately to get up, tiredly rubbing your eyes and muttering under your breath

"get off me, kaeya...you're too heavy," you mumble wearily

of course, kaeya doesn't get off you and instead proceeds to tease you from above

laughing and teasing you about how cute you look

and of course, how much he loves you <3

he'll get off once he knows you're getting annoyed

and immediately kisses you some more so you don't stay mad at him

"you look beautiful this morning, y/n! ahh...it's such a pleasure to wake up beside you every morning!"

zhongli - 钟离 ➵

much the opposite of kaeya, zhongli will allow you to have a more relaxed, peaceful start to the day

he'll wake up at the crack of dawn because that's just the type of person he is

and after doing his meditation

he'll come back to the bedroom

and sit beside you, likely ready with scented reed diffusers and a good novel, simply reading before you wake up

you stretch and yawn, tired but at ease by zhongli's calm presence and that atmosphere he's so thoughtfully set up

"my gorgeous y/n...shall i start to prepare breakfast for the two of us today?"

the second you wake up and are ready to start the day, he'll bustle around making the bed

and just being a gentleman in general <3

he'll probably pull together an extravagant eight-course breakfast for you, ready with all of your favourite breakfast items

zhongli will also find pleasure in brushing through your hair

and bringing you flowers for no reason except for that he loves you <3

he'll also pick out your outfit with you, something practical for that day (i'd imagine he'd make a chocolate brown suit, kinda like his lol)

"my darling y/n, you look absolutely breathtaking. care to take a stroll with me?"

sucrose - 砂糖 ➵

sucrose is a shy, reserved and timid person...if that's what you want to call her

so she'll probably not know how to wake you up

sucrose will lie in bed, glancing over at you and blushing furiously every five seconds

because she just doesn't know what to do

should i wake y/n up...or should i wait until they wake up themselves? let's go through the probabilities here...

she would then proceed to work out the mathematical and logical percentage chance of you getting up yourself, if you'd be better off with her waking you up, and so forth

so when you wake up, it's probably because she's been whispering nonstop to herself

just lying there beside you, twisting her wrists and glancing over at you

whilst also admiring how beautiful you are from this close

"ah! y/n...i'm so sorry, did i wake you up? i-i didn't mean to!"

it's not like sucrose is terrified of you or anything like that, she just doesn't want you to have a lack of sleep because of her

she cares wayyy too much but in the cutest way possible

she tugs on her short minty-green hair and bites down on her bottom lip

you laugh and pull her closer to you, making her flustered

she buries her head into your shoulder, mumbling her apologies for waking you up

so you have to pretend that you woke up on your own even if you're just lying to make her feel better

"it's okay, sucrose...i just woke up on my own."

sucrose will finally calm down and whisper under her breath (but you hear it anyway)

"i wish you were sleeping just a little bit longer...i could keep staring at you from up close..."

beidou - 北斗 ➵

beidou is a strong and independent woman and she will do anything to show it

but around you, she allows herself to be mellow and sweet as well

so it's no surprise that she wakes you up with a mixture of sweet and spicy

something like a mix in between kaeya and zhongli (but more on kaeya's side)

she'll probably nudge you ten thousand times all over your body, trying to wake you up

and she'll also rip off the sheets, making you cold

"y/n!! wake up...c'mon, there's new parts of the sea yet to be explored, and i'm taking you with me!"

when she notices you shivering, she'll immediately jump into bed again and pull you close

whispering apologies into your ear

her hot breath fanning over you

while she also gives you affirmations to start your day like "c'mon, y/n...you can do this, just try and get up!"

eventually you get up and sit up in bed, rubbing your eyes

beidou will immediately pull you back into her

leaning against the head of the bed

and stroking her fingers through your hair

"i love you so much, y/n...now, let's get going! maybe we can grab a cold beer or two after the day's work..."

author's note: hiiiii i haven't written in a while😭 didn't have much time and not too much motivation for writing lmfao but now i'm here to write this because the req is adorable! i chose women that i thought you'd like because everyone likes them i guess so yeah<3 i hope you enjoy this and i tried my best to write smthn wlw i hope it's good enough

-we all know how she's not one of the best cooks. so, you being one makes it a bit better.

-still, if you wanted to cook WITH her, then the food would probably just have to be macaroni.

-not gonna judge, i love it js as much as she does.

-you decided to get prepared one day, to cook together, and prepare a meal for one another!

-although you know that the only options you had were macaroons and macaroni, where she only had one option.

-so you started cooking macaroons.

-it is always SO fun to cook with her. she's always smiling and talking with you, talking about the most random things ever.

-of course, if you don't like talking much, she'll talk less but not be quiet entirely.

-whatever she made you, it was really decorated and the only thing that you knew that it was some type of cake.

-and she recognized that your's is a cheesecake almost immediately.

-when she tried it, she started talking to you, blushing a bit, about how much she's grateful for you.

-alright, you start cooking something that everyone likes, cupcakes! but the ones that you were able to make for her were cherry ones!

-arlecchino wasn't entirely quiet throughout the cooking either. it was either you or her talking with some kisses that can't be missed. she talked about her kids and her missions, while you either talked about her work in return, or about why you still love her despite it all.

-when you finish cooking and come to the dinner table with her, there's not much reaction on her face yet, unlike your's which was clearly happy.

-she made you cinnamon rolls!

-when she tried the cherry cupcake, you got a smirk from her.

I wanted to know if it’s alright to request an idea for sagau? Like I might make a post about this but I always thought it would be cool to have y/n retain some realistic features even though they isekai into tevat!

Like for example; the hair being more textured, shines in reflection , the way they would have different shades and saturation throughout the skin, they way how your touch feels ‘real’ or different, oh and ur eyes, oh how the characters could look how your pupils reflects, etc.

Idk I always thought if I were to make and character of mine or y/n still retaining little features they had back their own world seem kind of cool and interesting to think how people would react to it!

Even better is if they don’t know you’re the ‘creator’ of their reality and they were only able to hear your voice and how you express yourself!!

Anyways sorry for making this so long 🥲 I’m just kind of curious on how you or others would feel on this idea 💡

When you arrive you probably don’t know why some random citizens look at you with such amazed, perplexed gazes, with you likely thinking there’s something on your face that you don’t know was there.

You’re also slightly confused why the hilichurls don’t attack when you’re an inch near them, and why the slimes seem to be more docile, why you barely manage to see abyss mages– everything’s odd.

If you arrive near Mondstadt, Amber is the first one to find you and lead you towards the headquarters of the knights of Favonius, but she definitely notices something different with you. You haven’t spoken yet, so she doesn’t know who you really are, perhaps, you’re like the traveller, she thinks.

But when you properly introduce yourself to Jean and the others the whole knights that are in the headquarters, such as Albedo, Sucrose, Kaeya, Lisa, perhaps Eula, gather around you, murmuring to themselves that you’re 99% the creator that they’ve only ever heard, and you’re just standing there.

With your voice, the different, more dynamic and ‘lively’ look that you have seemed to make more sense–your eyes held the shine and reflection of their own appearance, your skin seemed to be much softer… and you assume that you’ve managed to retain some realer features you had in your original world.

Don’t worry, don’t fret, they love you with or without differences. Even if you weren’t the creator, Mondstadt welcomes you with open arms.

Best to say now the whole of Mondstadt finally knows their creator’s here in their region.

While Albedo knows that you are the creator, he can’t help but wonder if he can try to run some tests–he doesn’t want to hurt you, he just has an infinite curiosity ridden area in his mind.

Same goes for Sucrose too, but she doesn’t want to come off as rude or disrespectful, so she only holds these curiosities within her, oftentimes writing this in her journal, it’s not creepy, I promise.

Jean finds your presence nice, but more than others, it feels as if you’re like a safe haven for her with only just your presence, and you can visibly see her tired eyes brighten up when you pat her head for her hard work.

For Lisa, she also holds some questions for you, though she’d rather stay where she is, watching and hearing you enthusiastically talk about the books and literature in your world in the library.

Diluc wishes he was the person to find you first and lead you to Mondstadt– his feelings towards the knights of Favonius may be neutral and slightly, very slightly bad, but he’s still grateful that you managed to arrive safely. If you manage to visit Angel’s Share often, he’s somehow always there, wiping a glass or two.

Kaeya’s teasing his brother. No hard feelings though! Just pure friendly sibling rivalry. But when you’re near, his charismatic face fades as he’s rendered to someone yearning for affection–it’s adorable.

Same goes for Eula. She’s not often seen in Mondstadt due to her… ‘status’, but when you welcome her with open arms and no judgemental gaze, she feels… so appreciated. She’s barely felt this before other than in the knights of Favonius, but this… feels more different, warm, loving.

Venti’s elated, often like him a majority of times, but for him, he feels the joy that he’s never felt before–it’s pure, unadulterated joy that stems from his chest, as his mind fills with endless pure and innocent praise and lyrics for you with his lyre. The weather in Mondstadt seems to be more light, a refreshing breeze whenever Venti’s with you for some reason…

Genshin Girls When You Have Crushes on Eachother!! Highschool AU

Genre: Fluff <3

Reader: Gender neutral | Reader is a little oblivious in Furina’s and Yae Miko’s part

Characters: Yae Miko, Kujou Sara, Keqing, Furina, Sucrose

Yae Miko-

Thought you were the cutest little thing when she saw you on the first day of the new school year. She’s quick to make her move! Befriends you and not too soon after, confesses. She can’t help it! You think she’s just messing with you when she flirts with you. And who can blame you? First, y’all just met a couple weeks ago, and second, poor you can’t even tell if she’s serious or not with that shit-eating smirk on her face.

Yae Miko does nothing to qualm your concerns. She just likes your reactions too much. Your confused and flustered face brings her much satisfaction. You’ve turned into her piece of amusement and she doesn’t want to let you go!

She teases you so so much and you can’t understand if she actually has feelings for you or if she’s just playing with your heart! She really likes you though. Its just that she sees no problem in taking her time with you. She wants to study your reactions and really see what she can do that flusters you the most! In reality, she’s trying to treasure you, hence why she’s taking it slow, but you don’t need to know that do you?

She’s hot and cold with you but never too cold that you lose interest, just enough so she can see that frustrated look on your face.

But one day it got too much for you! You tell her whatever is going on between you two- if there’s anything between you two cause heavens you can’t figure her out- that it’s too confusing for you :(! Yae Miko didn’t think you’d break so easily, but she’s happy nonetheless. She wanted to take things a step further soon! Really wanted to be able to hold your hand and kiss you. But she tells you that she’ll explain everything in due time and leaves you stranded, but not without a kiss to your cheek and flirty wink!

On the weekend, she calls you up asking if you have a spare hour or two to hit the park. Tells you it’s an emergency and you come running thinking she might be in danger!

You come to her rescue at the park only to find a handmade banner tied between two trees and in writing asking, ‘will you go out with me?’ The cherry on the top was the pink haired girl standing beneath the banner with a bouquet of flowers.

Your eyes swell up a little. After weeks of back and forth from her, she finally gave you a clear answer. “Told you it was an emergency.” She says and she grabs you by the arm. She brings you into her arms and holds you in a big hug. “What do you say? Will you make me a girlfriend?” She asks while patting your head and she pulls away to look at you and well.. she already knows the answer from your face ;).

P.S. She had a whole day planned with you, from the park to the movies and dinner!

Kujou Sara-

Doesn’t catch herself falling for you until she’s already madly obsessed! She starts to look at (stalk) your socials, swears it’s not cause she wants to look at you but just to protect you from online haters! You quickly become the thing she thinks about the most, from right into the middle of the night to the early mornings when she wakes.

You start to notice the dark haired women popping up around you coincidentally! (She totally learned your schedule.) But Sara tells herself that she’s just there to keep you safe really (and to see your precious little smile!) She keeps her cool and calm demeanor around you, but she can’t quite look you in the eyes when she talks. She ties your shoelaces and holds doors open for you! Follows you around to the bathroom and to your car until you tell her it’s time for you to go home </3.

She starts to carry your backpack, pencil pouch, water bottle, basically everything you own. When you finally ask her why she goes through the trouble of carrying your stuff ontop of her own, she answers without thinking! Says something along the lines that a cutie like you shouldn’t be carrying such heavy stuff! Sara doesn’t realize the gravity of what she just said until she looks towards you since you’ve gotten quiet… and she’s met with the shyest look she has ever seen of yours!

Sara immediately wants to drop everything and take a picture of you, but instead you guys just walk to class in silence. Sara musters the courage to hold your hand and when she feels you give a little squeeze to her hand back, her heart skips a thousands beats! (she still living though lol.) The walk to your class is long, but it feels so short when you’re at your class door and Sara gives you back your stuff. Sara doesn’t know what comes over her as she asks you out!

“Are you free this friday?” She leans over the door looking at you as a light blush dusts her cheeks.

You nod, “please text me the details,” Sara, stunned, can’t believed you agreed. The bell rings, indicating it’s time for class as you head inside, but not without looking back to see if Sara is still there. “Sara!” You giggle. “You’re going to be late.”

“I already am, so let me look at you while I can.” Sara replies and you can’t help but wonder if Sara has always been such a smooth flirt! You finally head in, but not without the enticement of your date this friday and potentially your new girlfriend!

P.S. Sara cannot hide her feelings for you when you guys start dating so eventually the whole school knows y’all are together. Don’t worry though, she deals with the homophobes for you too <33!

Keqing-

Immediately notices how she feels differently around you from day one. Can’t really handle these feelings so tries avoiding you for a little to see if they die down, but she ends up just missing you even more!

She caught feelings for you once she sat next to you in class and heard you laugh. It’s such a simple thing, but Keqing got herself thinking how she wants to make you laugh more and hear all your different kinds of giggles and chuckles! She got shy at her own imagination and put her head down so you wouldn’t see her heated up cheeks! Little does she know you caught the red of her ears instead >;).

But even though you notice the red on her face when she looks at you and how she starts talking to you all fast now, no progress is made :(! Keqing is still quite the studious girl. She’s worried that you’ll become the biggest distraction ever from her studies! She uses that as an excuse to avoid you, but much to her demise, when you find her in the library that she’s studying in, and pull up a chair beside her, all that homework and those upcoming tests she thought about are now out of sight and out of mind!

She gives up on her little ploy to avoid you and decides she just has to manage her time better to be beside you! You guys take it slow for a while, it’s mainly stolen secret glances at each other that lead to you guys making eye contact sometimes where you both quickly break away but then look back to see if the other is still looking. Or its bad flirting between you two that always ends up in silence and with someone heated up in the face, but eventually… as both your feelings build up and up to its climax, you two practically burst!

Keqing and you can’t hold it in your hearts anymore. You’re both tired of waiting for the other person to make the move, so on one night when you both are out late at a cafe working on a school project. You two are sitting next to each other instead of across, and all of a sudden the cafe turns quiet with a slow song spewing in the background. You both look at each other, wanting to say something about the sudden silence, but instead you realize that the dinning room is left with only the two of you in it and that it makes you feel like it’s only you and her on the planet. You lean in a little.. she leans back.. you guys nudge noses.. she cups your face.. and you cup her neck.. you’re looking into each others eyes.. and then down to each others lips.. when you close your eyes and feel something soft on top of your mouth you realize you had the perfect first kiss!

P.S. You guys were definitely not alone. There’s always someone interrupting what would be the best kiss scene ever in the movies, and now it was your turn to feel that frustration first hand. Like its so homophobic for your waitress to interrupt y’all… (kidding I used to be a waitress and would hover over straight couples going at it like animals (T_T) with their food burning my hand off </3)

Furina-

Doesn’t want to admit she has a crush on you. Denies it so hard and challenges herself to talking to you without turning red! When that doesn’t work well she takes things to the next level…

She starts to make fun of you to prove to herself that she doesn’t really like you. She reminds herself that she’s doing the right thing because she thinks this where you are… beneath her. But after a particular moment when she went too far… she sees the hurt eyes and forlorn face of yours. All of sudden it doesn’t feel so good anymore when she feels like she’s the reason you’re crying! She exclaims that it’s your fault you can’t take a joke and runs away.

It’s not until an outside force (probably Neuvillette or Clorinde) who tells her that she’s acting awfully like an elementary girl with feelings… that Furina snaps. She’s no child and knows how to deal with her feelings! Do note her progress with how instead of denying her feelings for you now when called out, she’s denying thats she’s too immature to handle them. Furina decides to herself that you must be the sole person in this whole wide vast universe that is worthy of her affection.

So the next day at school she’s holding flowers, chocolates, and a big teddy bear with an ‘I’m Sorry’ sign on its belly, and you can’t help but think it’s another one of her mean pranks! When you run away from her and her gifts Furina doesn’t throw a tantrum that you didn’t accept her love, no, she grows even more determined to win your heart!

The game of cat and mouse begins as Furina keeps thinking you’re just playing hard to get! But the longer the chase plays out the more confused you get. Why would someone who made fun of you try to win you over all of sudden? ‘No, this must be another prank!’ Is what you thought until Furina seems at the end of her ropes.

It’s been a month of Furina trying to win you over and she starts to thinks it might just not be meant to be. The last time she tries to capture your heart isn’t with her bombarde of gifts, it’s her just walking up to you after school and asking if you’d go on one date with her. She ignores the confused look on your face as she tells you this is her last chance of trying to win you over and if you really don’t like her then she’ll leave you alone for good.

“Go out with me this weekend and if at the end you admit you’ve had enough, I’ll let you be.” Furina tells you direct and bold but also tired. She’s at the end of her line and you don’t notice the eye bags under her eyes or her messy hair. She has been staying up late these nights thinking of the perfect ultimatum to give you!

You, however, are still confused at what she means by ‘date,’ still not caught onto her feelings just yet. But it doesn’t sound like a bad idea as she promises to leave you alone after.

So you agree, and Furina’s face starts to light up again! She’s lost a lot of sleep over you, constantly thinking about how to win you over but she finally did it! She tells you to get ready by 10 am this saturday and she’ll pick you up.

Furina ends up taking you to the mall. She talks about random things going on in the world until she mentions a thing you both have in common! You forget about all the past teasing for a second as you geek out on this specific thing you like and realize that this isn’t as bad as you thought. The date goes really well and at the end of it Furina’s shown a lot of maturity in the past couple hours. You realize that maybe she does really have feelings for you and you consider them in your head. But when Furina pulls back to your house and she looks a little scared.

She parks on the curb of your house and looks you in the eye. “I know I said I’d leave you alone if you went on a date with me and didn’t like it, but… if by the slim chance you did.. then can I..?” She hesitates at the end and feels like she might’ve been asking for too much from you to be your girlfriend. But she doesn’t want to lose you.

So when you throw your arms around her and promise that you’ll really consider her feelings, Furina almost turns the whole car upside down! Even though she didn’t ask you out yet, that promise means a lot to her!

P.S. And when you finally accept her feelings… then congratulations, you now have a bratty little cat named Furina on your hands!

Sucrose-

Is just a complete mess around you <3. But even though she embarrasses herself a lot around you, she just can’t find it within herself to pull away from you!

When you smile at her, call her name, or do anything remotely friendly to her, she goes into shock a little and immediately hides behind her bangs! When you talk to her, her eyes gleam but is a stuttering mess in response. She beats herself up about not being more chilled out around you :(.

You’re going to have to be the one to take notice of her feelings because she needs a little encouragement to confess. Originally you thought she was just a little shy (or your resting bitch face was kicking in and intimidated her..) But even after a while, she remains as flustered as she is around you. This leads you think there might be another reason to her shy behavior.

You straight up just ask if you’re doing something wrong and Sucrose immediately wonders as to where you came to that conclusion. You tell her that you want to get closer to her but you feel like she might be scared of you. Sucrose realizes how her shy demeanor can come off as a fearful one, and is quick to deny your concerns! However, she holds herself back from putting her feelings of you into words. Sucrose wants to confess her feelings once she musters enough courage to do so! But when you ask her what you can do to make her more comfortable around you, Sucrose just can’t contain it anymore!

She gets frustrated. Why are you so nice? And why do you have to make this so hard? She mentions that she can’t tell you the reason now, but that she will soon! Sucrose quickly walks away before you can refute.

In a couple days, Sucrose walks up to you. Looking at her feet but not without a letter in her hand extended out to you. “It’s for you…” She mutters as you grab the paper from her hands and your fingers brush against each other. “Oh really? Thanks let me open-“ Just before you can open the paper, Sucrose is quick to cut you off. “No, please look at it when I’m not here!” She finally looks at you in the eyes and you can’t deny her with the desperate look on her face. After you agree, she calms down and class continues like normal.

Once the school day ends though, you read the letter filled with pretty little handwriting as your eyes quickly skim it down. In writing, Sucrose is apologizing for worrying you for thinking that she didn’t like you. She quickly tells you it was the exact opposite case! You read how she likes you so so much that she can’t handle herself getting nervous in front of you and your heart swells! She does apologize wayy too much in the letter for the dumbest things like not being able to tell you this in person and burdening you with her feelings which makes you a little mad as to why she’d apologize for something so human. But you feel the passion written behind each and every letter! You anxiously try to find her and you’re glad she finally felt comfortable enough to tell you this.

You’re trying to find Sucrose but she’s no where to be seen! She very much so ran away after handing you the letter, not wanting to see your reaction. But you scramble around the school looking for her through the mass hallway filled with students leaving the campus. You remember that she’s in the Science Fair and head to her club and low and behold there she is. She’s helping a student with a project and man are you piped to see her. She looks so pretty as she tucks a piece of hair behind her ears and pushes her glasses up looking at the fake volcano she was helping with!

But there is no time to admire her beauty, you run over to her, breathless and Sucrose looks as if she’s seen a ghost! You ask to speak to her in the hall and drag her by the arm before she can decline. You don’t waste another second as you pop the question, “Will you be my girlfriend?” And Sucrose looks as if she might pass out from excitement? Relief? Happiness? You’re not sure as to what, but are more than happy to see her reaction. “Well… is that a yes or a-“

“Yes a hundred thousand percent yes!” This is the loudest you ever heard her speak and she runs into your arms! But her excitement turns into needlessly worry. “Oh I’m sorry! I was just so happy that-“ Before she can pull away from the hug completely you interrupt her.

“We really need to work on that apologizing habit of yours…” You sigh into her neck as you tighten your arms and Sucrose eventually lets herself relax in your embrace.

You finally found the answer to your new girlfriends shy behavior around you! And that answer has led to a newly blossoming love!

Klee loving you and often asking to you or albedo if you actually are in love with each other. she'd love if you actually got together and often sketches you two together. or she forces you to play rather embarrassing such the Knight who has to rescue the Prince or the married couple. maybe she's doing it on purpose for helping her brother, who knows. after all, she'd be the first rooting after you.

sucrose and timeous worried because lately their master looks on cloud nine. he's totally changing behaviour when you're around. they probably made a bet about who's going to ask out who first.

mona being slightly jealous. she'd be kind of reluctant to talk with you at a first. tough she'd start to menage it over time.

She's happy! She loves the flowers you picked out and will cherish them for as long as she can. he stiffens at first, when you lean against him and bury your face in the crook of his neck. he relaxes, though, wrapping you in his warm embrace.

you end up sagging against him (kind of a half-slump towards the ground) and he tightens his arms around you. “i’m so tired,” you mumble into his chest.

he smiles against your head and bends down. and with one quick swoop, he lifts you into his arms in a sort of bridal carry (though you’re protesting, you’re laughing so hard you can barely breathe) and carries you to the couch, setting you down. he tickles you, causing you to gasp out, “stop! truce! enough!”

he sits next to you, smiling. you lean against him, laughing still. “feeling better?”

when you nod, he kisses your cheek. “good.”

sucrose |

the sweetie that she is, she blushes when you loop your arms around her neck and drape against her.

she’ll stroke your hair or pat your back, not quite sure of what to do. she tries her hardest though, sweet thing.

eventually, you’ll tug her against your shoulder and the two of you spend ages like that, tucked in each other’s arms. she looks peaceful like this; her face relaxed and her brow smooth. joy wells up inside you, tamping down your earlier unhappiness about your day.

she traces the lines of your face with her finger, smiling slightly when you pepper her cheeks with kisses. “i love you,” you say into her ear.

“i love you too,” she whispers, burrowing against you.

ningguang |

ningguang’s the one that notices how agitated you look. she pulls you towards her, sighing. she’ll run her fingers over your shoulders and kiss your cheek. she wants you to laugh and smile.

you kiss her, relaxing against her and taking her hand. she threads her fingers through yours, squeezing your hand.

she lets you sit like that, her arm draped over your shoulders, your face pressed into her shoulder.

she doesn’t mind it; in fact, she makes sure you’re as comfortable as possible, urging you to lay down. you give in, and she smoothes your hair away from your forehead, your head resting in her lap.

she winks at you. “rest well. we can go out to dinner tomorrow.”

zhongli |

his voice is low and soft when he asks you if you’re okay when you lean in for hug and all the strength goes out of your limbs. you lean all your weight against him and he stiffens slightly.

he relaxes, though, wrapping you firmly in his arms. he’ll press a kiss to the top of your head, or your forehead. it’s clear how tired you are, your eyes drifting shut even as you smile at him.

he’ll take care not to move you at all, the sappy romantic he is, and you’ll fall asleep like that. although it’s kind of uncomfortable for him, he doesn’t mind.

when you wake up, he smiles at you. “sleep well?”

he insists on you sleeping more and leads you to the bed. he makes sure you’re comfortable first before he settles down. you fall asleep in seconds, and he tucks the covers over you.

sangonomiya kokomi |

kokomi lets you settle against her. “ah, hard days. i know all about those,” she says softly, stroking your cheek.

her touch is cool on your skin, and, as she works, you sit with her, making sure to not disturb her too much.

at one point, you shift your position, and she looks up, alarmed. “oh, were you not comfortable?”

after assuring her that you were, she settles back again, threading her fingers through your hair. she hums softly as she works, the noise a soothing backdrop to your thoughts.

she’s so gentle with you, and so sweet. and you do the same in return. <3

tending to their injuries

↳ ft. xiao, bennett, and sucrose x gn!reader (involves romance for the anemo characters)

hi I'm in love with xiao and sucrose YEAHH <3 xiao's is A LOT longer and in depth due to favoritism

━ xiao, under no circumstance, would let you accompany him while he fulfills his duties. he has stressed his concern over the strong possibility of you getting hurt as a result of his abilities various times. it's true that he has a soft spot for you, but he simply won't let you even if you beg.

━ the first couple of times you help him, he'll be very conflicted. nobody has ever helped him in such a way, or has fussed over some minor wounds. this is mostly because he has been in solitude, so it brings a weird feeling all over him. should he feel grateful that someone is taking care of him? or perhaps, should he feel humiliated that he's showing vulnerability as an adeptus? he'll get irritated and brush it off, choosing to relish your kind touch.

━ being persistent enough would leave you with having the chance of helping him out after he's done. of course, xiao can be quite stubborn and he has suffered enough physically to the point he can endure any wounds so he might resist a bit. "I have no need for help, this is like a scratch to us adepti. you should find something more entertaining to do." he isn't wrong, it's not often that he gets any major injuries but it's still nice to tend to him.

━ don't let his prior words fool you. the second you see through him and start helping him despite his words, he'll let out a sigh and lean into your touch. xiao will be silent the entire time; he will watch with observant eyes so he can return the aid if the time ever came.

━ maybe just once, he'll hold your face and tilt it upwards when you kneel down to tend to any cuts on his legs. his words will be quiet, his thumb lingering over your cheek and his eyes locked on yours. "thank you for sticking with me. your kindness is appreciated, and I'll cherish it."

━ now that you look after his health, xiao is more careful than before when in a battle. he doesn't want you to waste your time on something caused by him. but when you do, be gentle with him. his words can be harsh, but considering his past it's understandable, so take his occasional rude comments with a grain of salt.

━ unaccustomed to physical touch, xiao will shiver whenever you glide your fingers across his body in search of injury. as his feelings for you start to bloom/if you're already in a relationship with him, he'll notice himself getting embarrassed whenever you raise/take his shirt off. ALSO ONCE YOU'RE IN A RELATIONSHIP KISS AND TRACE HIS SCARS PLEASE he'll be so flustered

"oh xiao? have you got a fever?" you ask in a teasing tone. patting his forehead and lowering your hands to feel the heat radiating off his cheeks.

"what? adepti don't get ill in the same manner humans do." xiao would reply, scoffing before backing his face away from your hand and hoping that your hands wouldn't wander to his chest– where you'd be able to feel how quickly his heart was beating.

━ oh boy, it's no surprise that bennett always comes back from his adventures injured. you offer to accompany him during them and he excitedly agrees, eyes sparkling as he proclaims once again how you're the star of his team. he gets way too ahead of himself, and you sometimes get wounded as well. since it's mutual, you both help one another.

━ "man, I'm sorry. there's no reason for you to get hurt when it's my bad luck that causes it." bennett sounded dejected, rubbing the nape of his neck awkwardly as you patched up the long and painful scratches on his thigh. "really, you should take care of yourself first! I can bandage myself up."

━ he also burns the fire underneath him sometimes, and so he gets scars from it. and obviously, it hurts a lot and there's not much you can do to take the pain away. however! distracting him from it is a temparary solution until you can get him to barbara. the townspeople have already gotten used to you returning while holding bennett by the waist to support him as he limped.

━ bennett will talk so highly about you to others! "they're super cool! always helping me out and fighting the enemies with me! man, the thought of changing the title "bennett"s adventure team" to their name instead crossed my mind once. I'd love to introduce the two of you, everyone deserves to see how awesome they are. you know how I get hurt often right? well they always take care of me and— oops, I'm rambling again aren't I? sorry!"

━ sucrose is an absolute sweetheart who would love to be in your company when doing her experiments and research. she's motivated to do better with you watching her. whenever curiosity arises in you, and you have inquiries, sucrose will do her very best to explain the concept/material to you. it's the one time that she's confident since she holds a lot of passion for her job.

━ on occasions, something will go wrong and it'll leave her with some injuries. sucrose doesn't need to fret with you by her side if you're willing to lend a hand. bandage up her fingers that were stung, maybe even give them a small kiss afterwards to reassure her. oh, the gesture will leave sucrose an apologetic mess. <3

━ not counting as an injury, sucrose will accidentally cause something to blow up in her face. in which, she can't see and so you're the one now being relied on to clean her up. take her now semi-broken glasses (which you can get a replacement for later), and gently wipe her face clean.

━ even in a region like dragonspine, sucrose doesn't get into trouble with the creatures there often. that's not to say that it doesn't happen at all, though. not wanting to worry anyone, sucrose will usually try to hide her wounds. she's like an open book though, and you can tell something is wrong by the way her eyebrows twitch, by her limping, and by her hovering a hand over the wounded area.

━ sit her down on one of the stools and clean her cuts so she doesn't get an infection. be wary of any bruises she might've gotten so you don't touch her there for the next couple of days. sucrose will tell you not to spend your energy and that she doesn't need it, but it's purely because she feels bad. but what kind of lover would you be if you ignored her pain?

━ sucrose's ears will move backwards once you reassure her that you're okay with helping her out. she's bashful and will stutter out a thank you, her heart fluttering as she relaxes and lets you tend to her wounds. if you even try to check her heart rate, you'd be concerned since it'd be beating so rapidly due to your proximity

"sucrose, I'm here for you. if you're ever hurt then don't hesitate to come to me, okay? I promise you aren't a burden or anything." your words are like music to her ears as you continue wrapping white medical tape around her knee.

she fiddled with her fingers, laughing nervously. "I'll try! sorry, I just overthink sometimes."

growing up, childe always lent a helping hand around the kitchen while his siblings were outside playing

and, truth be told, he feels most at home there

so when you come home and see childe in a lovely apron, calmly whisking ingredients together into a thick batter, you’re floored

how could your boyfriend looked so hot cute??? and act so nonchalant about it??? mother fucKER WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS 🤬

and when he looks up to you???

he literally breaks out into a smile, eyes crinkling up at the very edges

he’s all smiling and warm inside because he’s just so happy to be with his favourite person🥰

ugh, he’s precious sometimes

if you ever want to join in, childe is all for it!

most of the deserts you’re making are for his younger siblings though! be warned!!

and childe does become a little more... distracted while baking with you

while you’re in the kitchen, he wants to be touching you at all times

leaning his head onto your shoulder, hugging your waist with one hand, and hugging you from behind are his top 3, for sure

given the chance, he will pepper kisses into your neck as you mix and measure ingredients

if you happen to mess up because of his actions, childe will mumble an insincere apology

if you are really serious about baking though, childe will be very helpful!

he has a few tricks up his sleeve and knows the perfect way to bake (and cook) something he’s familiar with

if it’s a new recipe though? he’ll still bring the same confidence as before!

“alright, so add one teaspoon of vanilla... hm. babe, how about we swap out the vanilla for some rum? what?! it tastes so much better— arg, fine, fine, i relent! i suppose getting my younger siblings drunk on cookies isn’t a very good idea...”

ayaka likes decorating the deserts you’ve made!

but otherwise, she does not like baking!!

she gets really frustrated with the recipes, as most of the ones she uses are worded strangely or too complicated

she would read the recipe, follow the instructions, measure everything EXACTLY to the grain

....except... she’d still mess up along the way

but hey!! you still get cookies in the end!! they just don’t taste/feel like expected!

so, she sticks with decoration

and a small section of ayaka’s kitchen is just reserved for that, actually!

she only ever uses it whenever you bake though

and she loves, loves, loves watching you bake

ayaka will happily stand in the kitchen with you, simply enjoying your presence😌

and, no matter your experience with baking, she’ll love to call you some sweet related nicknames (sweetie, honey, and rarely honey-buns)

it’s a very calming experience for her!

even if you get distracted and almost burnt down the kitchen!! she’s never been more calm in her life, don’t worry!

but when it’s time to decorate? ayaka completely switches places with you

she's now become the master in the kitchen while you stand back, amazed

and whatever she decorates always turns out so pretty, definitely earning a place in your camera-roll

your cookies are... unique!! compared to ayaka’s at least

but ayaka loves them with every bit of her being!!

she just can’t help but chuckle a lil when you put them side by side

“oh, don’t be so hard on yourself! your cookies look... charming! no, i’m not lying, darling, please trust me. hm... if you want i could let you know a few tips and tricks for decorating— er, only if you want to though, sweetie!”

yun jin doesn't bake often... but she would with you!

mostly because it’s an excuse to touch you, due to the small kitchen space

but she won’t let you know that, of course😉

although, you have a sneaking suspicion yun jin enjoys leaning her head on your shoulder more than the actual baking...

oh, and besides trying to be close to you, yun jin does try to dance with you too!

while your pastries are baking, she’ll gladly take your hands and twirl you around

it doesn’t matter if yun jin makes up a dance on the spot or if each careful step and twirl are apart of some ancient dance— she makes the moment special

she’ll still smile and laugh with you as she spins you around and around

and you won’t notice this, of course, but yun jin doesn’t let go of you until the dance is over

truthfully, she never really wants the dances to end but... the pastries cannot be burned☹️

and when you do need yun jin’s help, she’s more than willing!

she practically dances on her own whenever she fetches ingredients and tools around the kitchen

and if yun jin ever needs to move past you, she’ll gently grab you by the waist and move you over

her touch is feather-light and without any pressure, and you barely notice it until you’ve been moved

it’s still a flustering experience for you! (it’s yun jin, c’mon)

but yun jin is oblivious to any effect this has on you!!

until she catches a hint of enjoyment from you, whether that be a smile or flustered expression

and she will (unknowingly) tease you about it, by the way

“oh! excuse me, my love, but the whisk is just behind you. pardon me— okay, here you go, love. er... my love, what’s with that smile on your face? d...do you like me picking you up, my dearest? wha— no, love, it’s a genuine question—”

sucrose is a great baker!

she has the cutest cooking tools and appliances!!!

all of which she uses very often, by the way

and she applies the same seriousness she uses with her lab experiments with baking

also, sucrose really wants to impress you with her baking skills👉👈

so she starts giving you her “samples” and eagerly asks for your opinion on them

slowly, but surely, sucrose will find out your preferences😈

sure, she could ask you what you like

but where’s the fun in that, right?

oh, by the way, if you’re ever right next to sucrose you can catch a whiff of vanilla from her

please tell sucrose she smells nice, she’ll melt

also, please let sucrose talk about baking!!

you’ll be blessed with a very excited sucrose who is babbling on and on about how her work and baking aren’t so different

and she has stars in her eyes and she’s smiling and she’s getting louder and she’s so cute and—

but if she notices that you’re staring at her, sucrose will clam up

she may have mistaken your look of adoration for boredom...

sucrose’s really worried you might grow bored of her

or worse! you might think she’s really annoying and just want her to shut up

but sucrose is delighted when you encourage her to go on!

she will happily talk as you both wait on the pastries to bake, gradually regaining that confidence

“and really, the only difference between my lab work and baking is the amount of mistakes i can make. no, seriously! with recipes that have been used for years, i know what product i’ll get at the end of my experiment. but, when i follow mister albedo’s notes—”

__amber ㅤ“hehe, you think so? maybe you’re right! i’ve always wanted a book to be written about outrider amber of the knights of favonius! but don’t you think you play a pretty big part in this story, too?”

__barbara ㅤ“oh, my! you must be mistaken—did you take me for jean? it’s me, barbara, and i’m certainly not main character material—not yet! although… if you were trying to compliment me, that was very kind of you. i’ll try not to let it go to my head, don’t worry!”
