Shit Changes

Shit does change, so let's talk about things I didn't support but ended up being/identifying/having.

A therian. I came across therianthropy because of a yt channel hating on it, it sounded stupid, I agreed. I got bored and looked into it after about a week, turned out, holy shit I have those experiences. My past life is an animal, and I still believe my spirit is partially one, there's a word for that?

Any sorta "obscure" kintype. For me that was voidkin, like what bullshit is voidkin? Who identifies as a void? Who identifies as a creature that doesn't exist? Those were my thoughts, but nope, voidkin.

Any sorta thing involving plurality. My only thoughts were, it's just imaginary friends, it's something that they choose, blah blah blah. Nope, you have DID, you've explained DID in perfect detail to your friends when you were 10. You're a plural system, bitch.

Endogenic systems. I seriously thought they were bullshit, not real, BUT NOPE. My original origins are completely spirtual.

Really any personality disorders. This is because of how I grew up but I never thought it was real... oh God was I wrong.

The concept of religion. This is more trauma related, but I always fucking hated it. But now, I do worship my gods, I am perfectly happy with my own beliefs.

Furries, ohhhh I hated furries because of 6th grade. In sixth grade I jokingly made cat sounds and everyone called me a furry and that's sorta why I hated them but I'm technically a furry so-

XENOGENDERS- oh my God I always was like "neo pronouns are such bullshit" and shit like that, no, no fuck you child me.

GAYYY, again similar to the one above, "dating the same gender goes against what we're made for" fuck that. I'd gladly "defy the rules of nature" if it means I could be with a woman

Making this post so y'all can know, shit changes. Your beliefs can change. Your thoughts can change. It's fine, seriously. Shit happens, you won't stay the same. Hell, even your needs won't be the same, so just live your life. Be happy with who and what you are. I'm not forcing my beliefs on anyone, but this is how I've changed over the years.

This is a blog dedicated to my struggles with paraphilias and PDs, as well as information surrounding them. I have multiple of both. As for PDs, this includes ASPD, NPD, BPD, and AVPD. My BPD is... especially severe. Routinely fucks up my life. As for paraphilias, I have more than I can count, but one is part of the Big 3; I am a staunchly anti-contact and non-offending 🗺️. I speak pretty openly about it because I'm tired of being vilified for it. Though other paraphilias will also be spoken about.

I am a survivor of CSA and grooming from multiple people (both contact and non contact), as well as an extremely mentally and verbally abusive household. I may speak on my trauma here but you have no right to ask me about it. Do not.

Ok so I'm probably gonna sound like an asshole but I really need to vent kinda

I kind of hate posts but also love posts that are "stop stereotyping all of _ as _"

Because I'm the stereotype, I'm the androgynous looking nonbinary, I'm the stereotypical autistic, I'm the gay furry, I'm the gay autistic, I'm the young therian, I'm the fucking stereotypes that people hate, I'm the stereotypes that people are trying to get rid of

But I'm that, so I always feel personally attacked even tho I know the post is meant for good

I'm just the unlucky person who has to see all these posts and think "wow that's me, I must be doing something wrong" and I feel like shit

I know it's stupid, I know I should just be happy that people are spreading awareness, but I just feel like I'll be looked down upon for "spreading the stereotype" when I'm just being me

I hate how I overthink things so much to the point I can't even be happy people are expressing themselves :(

Joyqueer is essentially a blankqueer term where one prefers to focus on positivity. They try and look on the bright side of things, even in the darkest of hours.

Even though Joyqueer focuses on the positivity, it doesn't condone toxic positivity. We're not naïve, the world isn't sunshine and rainbows 24/7. We look on that side when applicable to ease life and stress because focusing on the bad 24/7 and being drowned in misery is painful and hurts.

This stance is for good faith terms/identities, follows P.L.U.R (Peace, Love, Unity (and), Respect), and users might spread positivity and joy amongst others.

This stance is supportive & inclusive of/to the following:

Mspec queers (ie mspec lesbians, gays, biles, bipan, etc.), gender anarchy (being a girlboy, transfemasc thing, having no gender while having gender, etc), & relationship anarchy (being aplatonic, being loveless, having sex with your friends and or doing things with friends that others consider "weird", polyamory, being with objects and or stuffed animals, etc)

I was thinking about some shit so you guys get a rant about otherkin and trans people (under the cut)

the infighting in the alterhuman community is so bullshit. who gives a fuck if someone kins fucking Aphrodite???? or a pine tree??? who gives a fuck about 8 year olds that don't understand what otherkin is and thinks you can choose??? none of that matters in the grand scheme of things. yk what does matter? the fact that therians and otherkin are being used to deny trans people basic rights. maybe we should be talking about that and not whether spacekin or some shit are valid???? maybe we should be educating people on the fact that alterhuman and trans people are different and fighting for trans rights instead of infighting. maybe we should be fighting for trans rights considering just how many of us are trans. maybe we should talk about that.

I just think it's stupid that the biggest otherkin educational creators (on tumblr n tiktok esp) are all about "being otherkin isn't a choice !!!" or "stop faking being a therian !!!" and are never talking about how we're being propagandized against trans people (in the us at least) and the more we're silent about the disinformation, the more rights trans people lose. and please do keep in mind that this is coming from a trans person in a state in the us where my rights are being taken away, one by one, and it's getting quicker by the day. it's so much more important to talk about what is happening in our community politically rather than bickering with each other like children. I think the longer I’m in the therian community the more I realize that sometimes people (esp. teenagers and young adults) are just going to do stupid shit sometimes no matter how much you warn them not to, at some point it just isn’t your problem anymore and you need to take a step back and let them learn.

this goes for literally anything by the way - if they’re in a dangerous or illegal situation then obviously reach out to proper authorities or their parents but also remember it’s not your job to prevent every 15 year old online from doing stupid shit. You aren’t their parent.
