#struggling with chopsticks
Okay! So, I apologize if this sounds absolutely absurd or stupid- But I've found myself thinking about your Vampyr art daily. ( Or- Just your art in general. 💕 ) But I had this thought, as I was picking up some ramen from a noodle house. And wanted to share it with you, as I know you adore Vampyr as well! I think it would be positively adorable to see Jonathan " eating " noodles with Hsiao Shun. I think that they got along quite well ( mainly becauseof their grief concerning the loss of their loved one's. ), and perhaps could even be friends of a sort. It might be purely self indulgent, because I know that he couldn't actually eat the food. But I just want to see him attempting to use chopsticks.
Apologies again, for the very random ask! But I thought the image might give you a laugh, or make you smile, perhaps.
I have to say, I've thought about Hsiao Shun and Jonathan meeting up just to talk every now and then, that they would have a friendship like that. And this - I really love this! Jonathan probably wouldn't decline if she'd invite him to go eat, even though he can't, wonder what he'd do to cover that he isn't actually eating 🤔
And thank you! This is such a nice idea, I'll definetly get around to drawing something like this next week ^^

Before Homura stepped near the door, he tapped Kurama on the sheathe. She woke up from a nap and realized what was happening, ‘alrighty!’ she said. She morphed her form from a blade to a chopstick. He put it horizontally in his short ponytail that Kurama insisted he wore.
When in public he kept Kurama as a tanto, to avoid attention, but in a location like a school? It was best to minimize any type of risk. He walked to where Dolos was and saw he was stumped on how to open the door. It seemed to need a keycard or code to unlock.
Needless to say, they had neither. Adamen and Etsuko had gotten into the lecture hall building already by going with someone else.
Coyote noticed the two struggling and came to see what the fuss was about.
“What’s wrong?” said Coyote.
“Can’t open it,” said Dolos. In response, Coyote called in Alexa. She gave it a good look before shrugging.
“I’m an expert at mechanical tinkering, this electric shit is beyond me!” said Alexa before leaving to do recon.
Immediately someone swiped a card into the slot. It was a tired looking student who had a wary smile, “Sorry, it looked like you were having trouble.” Coyote slightly blushed before muttering some thanks.
Dolos didn’t look a gift horse in the mouth and went in with Homura.

"Can I hug you?" with Bakugo!
"Can I hug you?" | A Katsuki Bakugou x OC mini fiction
Footsteps echoed across the dim hallway. Only the faint murmur of chatter and tvs could be heard. After an exhausting friday of studying and training at U.A. High School, Souta was more than happy to call it a day, but she wanted to make a stop at a certain blondie's dorm room first.
"It's almost the end of the first school year. He's not as dreadful as before!" Souta thought to herself.
Before the diamond bender knew it, she was already in front of Kacchan's door. Her sweaty, trembling hand formed a first and knocked three consecutive times.
"Who is it? And what to you wa-" Kacchan's sentence was cut short when he saw who came to visit, and his expression of annoyance softened just the slightest.
"You again?" He growled.
"H-Hello Kacchan. I got delivery from a nearby ramen place, so I was wondering if you'd like to eat dinner with me." Souta suggested. She was already having second thoughts about her invitation.
Kacchan took a step forward into the hallway and snapped after a few seconds of silence. "I'll say this loud and clear so I won't have to repeat myself. You always do this thing where you'll say something, but you really want to say something else. I'm tired of that game. Just tell me what you really want."
Souta gripped the brown paper bag in her hands, small crystalization piercing the material. A knot formed in her throat as words struggled to come out.
"It's just that..." she swallowed with difficulty "Ever since we were given dorm rooms, we all see our families less often. I'm not the kind of classmate who has a bunch of friends who she can talk to. It's a painful reality I struggle with every day. But despite all that, I would still enjoy a casual get-together every now and then. That would be enough."
"Sappy. Your point?" Kacchan asked, growing impatient.
The girl's eyes widened in disbelief and her lips curled into a toothy frown. "Fine. Whatever. I see my presence isn't welcome here. Good night, Kacchan." Souta grumbled as she took out one of the two sealed ramen containers and shoved it into the boy's hands, stomping away afterwards.
"Hey...HEY!!!" Kacchan placed the container over his study table and caught up to Souta, who was already growing angry diamond spikes on her shoulders.
The two just stared at each other, not daring to say a word. Kirishima, Kaminari and Mina watched from around a corner, phones out.
"It's been a while since someone did something nice like that for me. Thanks, I guess." Kacchan grunted under his breath, gripping Souta's wrist to prevent her from leaving "What else you got in that bag?"
Souta sighed, turning around. "There's also two portions of rice and two sweet mochi buns."
"Sounds nice. Can I hug you, now?" The spiky haired boy blurted, turning red.
"A hug? Really?" Souta smiled wide and stepped closer.
Kacchan growled nonsense, trying to deny what was already said. "Come here." He mumbled, pulling her in.
The girl flinched when the gap between them was closed, but slowly relaxed. She returned the gesture with causion, releasing a sigh of relief.
From around the corner, Mina took pictures of the two as Kaminari handed over spare change from his lunch money to Kirishima.
"Finally." Mina whispered, ushering the two boys away quietly.
Kacchan gave Souta a gentle squeeze before letting her go. He gave her a grin and looped his right arm around her as he led them to his room.
"Dinner and then a movie?" Souta asked, unpackaging the rest of the meal over his coffee table.
"Definitely." Kacchan responded as he was handed chopsticks.

The Pancakes Household
Opposites in every way, Bob and Eliza are struggling in their marriage. Bob leaves dirty dishes and puddles everywhere that annoy Eliza who is a perfectionist. She is always picking up after him and no amount of arguing about it changes his behavior. Eliza wants a big social group and loves to brag about money and her possessions, while Bob is a loner and just wants to stay at home and work on his cooking skill. His dream is to open his own restaurant and Eliza wants to climb the social ladder.
For companionship, and just to annoy Bob, Eliza adopted a cat. She spoils it and lets her do whatever she wants, even encouraging her bad behavior. This frustrates Bob who is always lecturing the cat to stay off the furniture.
In retaliation Bob adopted his own pet. A big dog who loves staying at home on the couch with him, unlike his wife. Eliza did not take this development well. They are now fighting constantly and sleeping in separate rooms.
At work Eliza met Penny and they became fast friends.
She calls her up to vent about her frustrations with Bob, and Penny is always willing to lend an ear and gasp at just the right moments to make Eliza feel better.
Penny lives in the city and Eliza came over to visit. The Romance Festival started outside and they decided to check it out. They drank some lovely sakura tea and attempted to eat ramen with chopsticks, laughing when they fumbled. Suddenly out of the corner of her eye Eliza spotted none other than Judith Ward! She jumped up excited and positioned herself close to her to take a picture. This could be great for her career!
As Judith started to turn toward her Eliza quickly put her phone away and escaped. She bumped into the Love Guru who was offering relationship advice. Eliza decided to ask her about her relationship with Bob. The news was not good, but she wasn’t surprised.
Meanwhile, Bob was at home making friends with the neighbor Eric. He seemed like a really nice guy and they were getting along great.
When Eliza got home and Bob tried to ask about her day, she was in a terrible mood complaining about the state of the house and what he hadn’t done while she was gone. The arguing started up again and Eric quietly excused himself and left because he was feeling uncomfortable.
What had happened to the love they used to share and could they ever get it back?

Important Headcanons To Consider
Can they use chopsticks? — no. in fact he struggles with cutlery as well, he would rather eat with his hands since “they are his best cutlery”. plus, he can eat bigger portions with his hands.
What would they impulse buy at the grocery store? — snacks, preferably potato snacks or a novelty toy, like those funny teeth with feet that bites when you twist the handle, those elastic rubber hands that sticks to surfaces, rubber balls, marbles and yo-yos.
What’s their coffee order? — no coffee, he will order milk. it must be either room temperature or cold, or else we won’t take it. pure, chocolate, or strawberry.
What order do they wash things in the shower? — orre is very hot and arid, so to refresh, he will first go for his head and just let water soak his scruff. then he will wash his hair and face to get rid of the excess of sand before going with the rest of his body. basically goes from head to toe.
What sort of apps would they have on their smartphone? — his Pokémon Digital Assistant doesn’t supports apps, but it can send and receive emails, take pictures, and it keeps track of every pokémon he has seen, like a pokédex.
How do they act around children? — he is a bit of a papa wolf, he acts very protective of children, especially when there’s shady adults nearby who might want to hurt them. he has no problem with playing with them as well.
What would they watch on tv when they’re bored and nothing they really like is on? — action movies, usually, or shows about vehicles especially bikes. he also likes music channels.

dance the night away
warnings: unprotected sex (theres no indication of protection), drunk sex, size kink?, cursing, manhandling i guess, lowercase intended
pairing: dom!jongho x reader
“Hiiii authornim. Hope you're having a fun day. May I please request for a smut? Dom!Jongho wherein you saw each other at a dance class in Korea. After the class, all the participants went out to drink including Jongho himself. And well that's where they *dance* the night away 😝”
im sososososososososososo sorry for this being suppperrrr late. i took a break because of mental health and im really sorry for leaving everyone waiting.
“okay, that’s it for today! good job everyone, especially y/n,” the dance teacher winked at you and smiled, and you grinned at her. everyone bowed at her and she left the room leaving everyone else in the dance practice room. “guys! should we go for a drink today?” himchan shouted. he was usually the crazy and loud type of person that loved going to clubs to get drunk. he was a pretty nice guy, but you hated him for some reason. sometimes you couldn’t tell if he was trying to be nice to you, or flirt with you. it just made you uncomfortable. everyone in the room cheered in agreement. you were one of the younger kids in the room and you felt it would be rude to decline, so you just said yes. you went to the bathroom to change your outfit and the group went out to a club to get drunk. you picked at the plates of food, annoyed at how loud himchan was being. he sat right by you, and he would keep bumping into your shoulder. you licked the sauce off your chopsticks before looking up at the man in front of you, choi jongho.
you two were quite close, you didn’t interact a lot during dance class but you partnered with each other a few times and talked a lot outside of class. the music was loud and himchan was loudly shouting, probably flirting with girls. so you got closer to him before speaking,
“you’re not going to go out?” by out, you meant to the dance floor, where everyone was now.
he shrugged, chugging down another drink. you took that as a no, and decided to go out yourself.
you weren’t usually the type to go to clubs and party, but you were drunk as fuck, you couldn’t care less. you danced around and sang the lyrics to the song, living your best life.
you don’t know how you got to this point, everything from the point you started dancing to now was kind of blurred.
but now you were stuffed in the corner of the bathroom hallways at the club. you’re not exactly sure how long you’ve been here, but that doesn’t matter right now. what matters is that you’re on jongho’s lap, basically sucking each other’s faces off.
you were suddenly dragged here by jongho and it led up to this. you weren’t sure why but you weren’t against it at all. nothing was better than straddling his delicious thighs and strong arms wrapped around your waist. you rocked your hips against his hard erection, holding strong eye contact with jongho. you couldn’t care less about the people walking past, they were probably just as drunk as you anyways. panting, he grabbed you and pulled you up, guiding you outside of the club and right into a taxi.
he bounced his leg in impatience. he kept a strong grip on your plush thighs, massaging them dangerously close to your area. the taxi arrived at jongho’s apartment, which was one the 2nd floor of the building. the elevator was closed, so he resorted to the stairs. you were struggling to even walk in a straight line, so going up the stairs would be a struggle for you. he took this into consideration and just decided to pick you up, making you let out a slight yelp of surprise. you wrapped your arms around his neck, biting your lip in excitement. he easily skipped up the stairs while securely holding you.
once you two entered the fairly spacious apartment, he put you down and impatiently connected his lips to yours. he roughly kissed you while guiding you to his bedroom. both of your hands were traveling all around each other’s bodies.
your shorts were already off, his hands were fondling roughly with your ass, making you moan in satisfaction. you felt the coldness of his rings.
“fuck, i’ve been waiting for this moment,” he sighed as he rested his forehead against yours, removing the rest of his clothing.
“i can’t wait to ruin you,”
his lips then went to your neck, planting tender kisses, making you sigh in bliss.
“fuck, i need you so bad,” you bit your lip in desperation, wrapping your arms around his waist.
“you want it?”
“yes please give it to me,” you begged, rubbing your leg against his hard erection showing in his briefs. he cursed harshly and pulled down his briefs, stroking his hard cock. you licked your lips in anticipation.
he took his fingers and inserted them into your dripping heat, you yelped as you felt the cold touch of his metal rings reaching your heat.
“this feels so much better than using my own fingers,” you thought in your head.
he removed his fingers after a bit, making you whine in disappointment. you were about to hit your climax. but you were quickly cut off of your disappointment when he began entering you. his thick cock stretched your walls, making you whimper.
it took some time to get used to his girth. you moaned in pleasure as his dick hit the right spots. he manhandled your smaller body, folding your flexible body to put your legs over your head (basically folded like a flip phone). he kept up with his strong quick thrusts, his strong thighs never got tired. he tried a variety of different positions with you, like holding you up against the wall with you legs around his waist, or taking you doggy style at the edge of the bed while he held your legs up by his thighs. his stamina and strength was neverending, making you feel like absolute jelly.
your legs were weak, your body was covered in a light layer of sweat, and your hair was all crazy from jongho pulling it back while roughly thrusting his big cock.
he turned on the AC for you before cuddling up by your side. the two of you would probably wake up with headaches, but he has medicine prepared just in case.
“ugh, i feel so sticky,” you groaned.
“from how well i fucked you?” he smiled mischievously from behind your shoulder, hands grasping your waist. you nodded in agreement.
“fuck, i’m hard again,” you groaned but with a smile on your face.
“we’re never going to sleep, are we?”
“nope, sorry baby. now get on all fours like a good girl, i’ll make it quick” he kissed your shoulder and smacking your ass.

You know what I want? Liyue interactions like 1.5-2 years prior to the beginning of the game. Where Zarina is recovering in Liyue and is at her weakest as she’s re-learning how to hold things and how to walk, because her body suffered such a big hit. So she’s bandaged all over besides her face, she uses crutches, and she struggles holding chopsticks and even utensils. I want to write her weaker, when she’s trying to find ways to stand up again. Maybe someone inspired her? Maybe someone gave her an idea? Maybe someone knew her and then will know her later when she comes back. Like meeting Zarina at that time might only be possible for Liyue characters but.. but listen.

The Oncoming Storm Part 3: Earthrealm
Liu Kang x Reader and Kung Lao x Reader (gonna do both, two paths!)
Thanks again everyone! This has been such fun. I meant to say earlier that this takes place a couple years prior to the film (also that I know a bit about MK as a game series, so I will include tidbits here and there if I can). ALSO! I am open to any suggestions that you may wish to see throughout this story- either for Liu Kang or Kung Lao. I can't guarantee I will use them but I will consider them. I am delighting in writing this!!
The days that followed were a struggle. Healers would visit and care for your wounds at all hours. You were in and out of consciousness and when you did manage to stay awake, you would meditate and work on keeping your body strong. That was a fight in and of itself. Wounds needed rest to heal but you refused to grow weak in the meantime.
In the evenings, without fail, Liu Kang would visit. He brought books for you to go through together. The second night he’d visited he’d gifted you with a crude leather journal and pen for you to take notes with. You were inquisitive and Liu Kang was a wealth of knowledge. On nights where you finished a book or a lesson early you would meditate together. Other nights you would chat and often those chats would end in personal stories. You two had become fast friends.
You kept a calendar in the back of the journal and Liu Kang had helped you account for the time you’d lost in unconsciousness. A week had now passed since you’d first woken up in Raiden’s Temple. You circled the week before and wondered where Kung Lao was. You’d asked around but it was no surprise to any of those dwelling in Raiden’s Temple that he was absent. Apparently. he was gone for long stretches of time quite often- many of them were. Mortal Kombat and the protection of Earthrealm extended far beyond China, you supposed. You wondered how much of the world he’d seen. You had barely ever left your hometown.
“Miss Y/N?” A monk pulled back the sheet that had been pinned around the small closet-sized space that had become your semi-permanent dwelling. You offered the monk a tired smile and gestured that they could enter. The monk bowed politely. “Your presence has been requested by Lord Raiden.”
“Oh?” You had known that you would meet with the man who the temple belonged to eventually. Liu Kang had told you that he would summon you only after the others had deemed you well enough. You hadn’t passed out in exhaustion yet that day, so you supposed now was as good a time as any. “Give me a moment to change, if you will.”
“Yes, Miss Y/N.” The monk left you some privacy. You’d gotten used to the dressing gowns that had been provided to you. They were comfortable and served your purpose well. You’d been given several lightweight gi for when you could inevitably train for battle but also several hanfu to wear out and about. It wasn’t like you’d gotten to pack any of your usual t-shirts and jeans, or even your cute summer dresses. This would do well enough.
You changed into the soft blue and white hanfu that had become your favorite. It was simpler than the others. You didn’t need anything terribly fancy, especially not to go have a conversation with someone. You were sure that if Lord Raiden expected you to dress up then someone would have warned you. Considering that Liu Kang rotated through the same three tattered gi and was almost always covered in soot, you doubted there was a dress code.
After you had changed, you pulled up your hair lazily with a set of chopsticks you’d kept and cleaned. Then you returned to the monk who was waiting for you patiently outside of the small curtain, which you kept open upon leaving. The monk bowed again to you and then led you through the halls of the temple. The floor you had been kept on had no windows into the outside world and you followed the monk up several ramps and flights of stairs. Endless halls branched hither and anon making the whole place seem labyrinthian. You were certain that you could spend weeks exploring the temple and still manage to miss things.
If the monk hadn’t been leading you then you weren’t sure you could have resisted your curiosity. After a good thirty minutes spent walking, the monk led you to a dark hallway with a rounded ceiling. It disappeared into the distance, lit only by odd white statues that stood in a line along its center. The monk bowed and gestured to the hallway.
“Good luck, Miss Y/N.” The monk then turned away and left you alone. You approached the glass statues in the center of the hall and found them sparking with electricity within. They were funny in that they reminded you a bit of a sophisticated and quiet Tesla coil that fired constantly rather than sporadically. Below the frosted glass you could see currents of electricity flowing almost like you imagined sparks would through the clouds. Your fingers brushed curiously over the glass.
“Miss Y/N.” A commanding voice called from the end of the hallway. You felt almost like a child who had disobeyed the rules in class and visibly winced. You hurried down the hall as quickly as your legs would allow then bowed as you entered the room at its end.
“I’m sorry. I haven’t seen much outside of the infirmary and I was fascinated.”
The man who stood before you was of average height and his face was mostly obscured by his hat. You grinned in surprise and recognition but then quickly fought to hide your glee. Raiden’s expression was severe, reminding you very much of the way your father had glared at you when you had said something un-lady-like as a child.
“We have much to discuss.” He gestured for you to take a seat on the floor in front of where he was seated with his legs crossed and so you did. Much to your surprise, he floated several inches off the ground and while you tried to hide your surprise, you were sure your eyes had gone wide. “I am Lord Raiden; the protector of Earthrealm.”
“It is an honor to meet you. Liu Kang has told me about you.”
“I am not surprised.” Raiden had a commanding voice as well as presence and so you sat and listened attentively. He explained to you the nature of other realms, though he did not go terribly in depth in their origin and what existed there. Outworld was their greatest opposition, with the desire of controlling the earth and all of humanity. They were brutal warmongers from how Raiden described them. He explained then the tournament that had taken place for thousands of years: Mortal Kombat. Warriors were chosen from each world to battle. Outworld had won the last nine tournaments and if they won a tenth then they could lay claim to earth.
Sheng Tsung, a powerful wizard, would lead armies onto earth and take humanity for slaves. You didn’t ask it, but you wondered if Sheng Tsung was the ruler of Outworld or not. You figured if it were important then Raiden would tell you. He went on to tell you that Outworld had done this before with other realms and they had been devastated into obscurity.
Raiden spoke in a way that made you believe he had seen countless lifetimes and while his tone often sounded disapproving and severe, he still spoke with great purpose. “Our next tournament will not be for a few years. You will be one of our warriors.” Raiden’s lecture was winding down. “Do you have anything to ask me?” You had known much of the information that Raiden had given you that day but had still sat patiently and listened.
“I think I understand. If I have any questions as we go, I can ask Liu Kang. It was difficult to wrap my mind around this… craziness for lack of a better word but he’s been very patient with me. The idea of arcana and how I’m meant to fight warriors from another world with it is still wild to me, but I at least understand the idea. I think with time and practice I will only understand more.” You stifled a quiet laugh and then cleared your throat to regain your composure.
“Do you find this funny?”
Guilt again- the kind your dad had always made you feel.
“You’re the man with the funny hat.” Your cheeks turned pink when he looked instantly affronted by your description of him. “I don’t mean to sound rude. The shop that I worked in had many interesting customers who were just passing through and I remember you visiting once. You chose your words carefully and spoke very little. You had a need for precious stones and as I often do, I made polite small talk. I asked you what you needed them for and you said in protection of Earthrealm which you quickly corrected to protection of the beauty of nature. I thought first it was a language barrier, but I couldn’t get the words out of my head. You opened my eyes long ago to the secrets of the world though I doubted the truth until now.”
Raiden’s expression shifted, thankfully, and he seemed pleased but he was difficult to read. He held his posture in such a way that the brim of his hat covered much of his face. Despite his severe stature and intimidating nature, he seemed well meaning.
“I don’t recall this instance but am pleased to learn that there are those who come upon the knowledge of other worlds without panic and denial.”
“So, I have to fight.”
“More than fight. You must find your arcana so you may stand a chance against the warriors of Outworld. They are ruthless and possess skills that may seem impossible to you. Without your arcana you will not stand a chance.”
“How do I do that? Find my arcana, that is.”
“Usually through trial and adversity. Everyone is different. Your arcana will be singular only to you.” Raiden stood and so you did the same. “Your training will begin tomorrow.”
You bowed respectfully. “Thank you. I promise to work my hardest.”
Raiden said nothing but didn’t look as though he quite believed you capable. But you had long ago stopped seeking the approval of those you had no bond with. Actions spoke much louder than words and you would do as you promised. Raiden turned away from you without another word or any sort of dismissal. Waiting for a very brief and awkward moment, you turned and left the room. You chose not to linger in the hall with the pretty lightning sculptures.
The path back to the infirmary was not easily found and you wandered aimlessly for a time before passing monks who guided you. You closed the curtain to your tiny room and sat on the edge of your bed. Your arms ached. You were sore and tired. Gravity didn’t agree with healing wounds. Training was going to be a bitch, but you would be the better for it, you were sure.
Retrieving the journal you’d been taking notes in you made yourself cozy and rekindled the fire in the lantern near your bed. You went over the notes that you’d taken during your studies with Liu Kang and smiled. There were several sections that were in his handwriting sandwiched between yours. You’d had a difficult time with the pen for awhile and your handwriting was atrocious. There had also been moments where you’d been dazed with weariness and so he would take over and explain what he was making notes of.
You drifted to sleep holding the book, leaning back against the wall behind the narrow bed. In your brief dreams you had been sitting with a young Kung Lao and together the two of you had been exploring the fields outside of the family farm where you’d been kept while you’d been ill. The more you remembered that young boy the more you could see it in the man he’d grown up to be.
A knock against stone startled you awake and you jumped upright. Standing in your doorway, peering through the curtain was Liu Kang and he looked surprised.
“I’m sorry to wake you.” He stepped inside and closed the curtain behind him. How long had you slept? Crap.
“What time is it? Did I sleep through training?”
“No.” He laughed and it was a welcome and comforting sound. “It’s quite late but I was busy until now and wished to see you before I went to bed.” He spoke of you with such fondness that if you hadn’t been half asleep then you may have blushed. You adjusted on the bed and made room for him to sit next to you as you often had while going over notes. He joined you gratefully and you watched as he brushed his thumb over the prayer beads that often went from wrapped around his wrist to his palm and back again. “Tomorrow is going to be difficult, Y/N.”
You guessed then that he would be in charge of your training. He was one of the only warriors with the marking that stayed in Raiden’s Temple besides Kung Lao.
“Promise not to pull any punches, okay?”
“I knew you would say that.” He nudged your shoulder carefully with his.
“I mean it, Liu! It’s been over two weeks now since this happened. I’m ready to be strong like I used to be. If I’m going to survive all this other-worldly supernatural natural nonsense then I have no choice. Besides that, I want to do this. I want to fight.”
“I need you to be safe.”
“That’s very sweet, Liu but I’m a fighter. I’ve been fighting for years. I’m ready to help and more importantly I’m ready to feel strong again. This thing with the poison and my arms? It’s taken a toll on me.”
“I understand.” He slipped the beads back around his wrist and caught a glimpse of the journal you had fallen asleep holding then looked back toward the door. There was a nervous energy surrounding him.
“Are you okay, Liu?”
“Yes, I’m fine.” He picked up the journal and tapped the pages. “Would you like to study for a bit?”
“You can’t sleep, can you?”
“That’s right, it’s late. I apologize. I should let you rest.” He stood, bowed, and then turned to leave. Without thinking, you grabbed his hand. If your arms hadn’t been aching you would have pulled him back though Liu seemed very aware of the strain it would put on you for him to pull so he stopped in his tracks. He was always very aware of what was going on around him.
“You can stay. We can keep reading. I would enjoy that.” You insisted. Liu Kang smiled and you let go of his hand, realizing you had been holding it for perhaps too long. He grabbed a hefty book that had been resting beneath the table next to your bed. You had made their way about a quarter way through it over the past few days. Then you sat together, leaning against the wall on the opposite side of your bed. He read to you and his soothing voice almost lulled you to sleep and provided you with a sense of security you hadn’t expected. Studying with him even when you had been in your worst moments of pain had become a fond memory.
The words were familiar and you snapped an eye open. “We already read this.” You waited for a pause in his reading.
“No, we didn’t.”
“We did, look.” You pointed to your journal and the scribbles in it from the night before. Your handwriting really was terrible but you could make out bits and pieces. Liu had the patience of a saint for trying to decipher it. He squinted.
“I can’t read that. No one can read that, Y/N.” He tapped the page you had pointed to. “That could say almost anything. Are you bored with the history of the Wu Shi Academy?”
“No! We were just further along than this, that’s all. Look, just…” You shoved the journal in front of the book and he laughed. “I think that this is highlighting this passage here about the foundations and the energy wells beneath it…”
“You can’t possibly read that. We have established that it is gibberish.”
“I can sort of make out some of it…”
“We have to work on your penmanship.”
“My arms are still healing!” You whined with a pout. Liu took the journal and set it in front of you both. You reached past him and turned the pages of the book, searching for the next chapter. “At least get us to reading about the arena. You promise that we would learn about that next. You went on and on about it.”
“I did no such thing. You just can’t admit you’re bored.” Liu laughed. You flipped the pages without his permission and he tried to tug the book away and you jolted to the side with him, hair falling in your face, chopsticks now useless. Much to your surprise, as you corrected yourself, Liu reached to push your messy hair away from your face and tucked some of it behind your ear. Your laughter subsided and you avoided his eyes as he admired you. “Your hair.”
“Oh?” You dared to look back at him and his dark eyes were rivers of thought and emotion that you had no aspirations of beginning to unravel. You liked the mystery of them.
“Ah, yeah… Well, I haven’t been able to maintain it and it’s naturally white.” You pointed to your roots.
“White? That’s peculiar.”
“I didn’t mean any offense. It looks nice.” He seemed to realize that his hand was very much still in your hair and then ran his tongue over his lower lip before pulling his hand back. “We’ll read about the arena but only because you have chosen to entertain me at this late hour.”
“And because you realized we already ready it, right?” You joked but your stomach was very much in knots. This was no time to be feeling childish butterflies in your stomach.
“There will be a test, Y/N.” He joked and smoothed out the pages of the book. You retrieved the journal and pen but gave up on writing notes fairly quickly. Your arms were incredibly sore and you were drained from the effort of the day. Liu delighted in sharing a map of the ancient arena and reciting battles he’d won and lost there. His voice was a soothing and familiar drone and before you realized it you were falling asleep, head falling against his shoulder.
Instead of leaving you there on your own to sleep, Liu Kang continued to read. Sometime later you woke up and the coals in the room had begun to dim and left only glowing embers. Liu was still seated next to you, his head now rested against yours. From his soft slow breathing you could tell he had fallen asleep. The book was rested neatly on top of your journal as if he had made the decision to stay. For the first time since you’d woken up in Raiden’s Temple you went to sleep feeling secure and comfortable.

There's no perfect description of fear it varies for each individual and how they overcome them are also different. Everyone has something they're scared about but you try your best to hide it because your housemates would likely bully you for that.
People assume that your boyfriend, Zach Dempsey fears nothing, judging by his body, but you know that he's afraid of something even he never said anything about it. Your intuition tells you that it's not the Dark Lord he fears the most.
Every Wednesday, Zach refuses to sit in the front seat in the Defence Against the Dark Arts class, it's the only compulsory subject he detests, and never paid much attention to it. He's always acting off during the practice, he failed on purpose making you curious to find out what's wrong.
Today, he's supposedly doing his essay after dozed off in the previous lecture. Professor Lupin was kind enough to give him punishment for writing an essay because he aced the quizzes. You see him stacked the books, instead of reading them, he takes chopsticks from his bag and plays the books like a drum.
"I thought that you're gonna write the essay."
"I still have times until next week, y/n."
"What's the essay about?"
"Then start writing. There's a lot to cover."
"Yeah, but I'm too lazy now." He loosened his tie, ruffling your hair, you take your self-writing quill.
"I know a lot of Boggart already. I can get it done in under 20 minutes."
"I'm hungry now." He takes his bag and leaving the library, avoiding you. Walking fast, you try to catch up with him, means that you have to run a bit.
"Our conversation hasn't been done yet. Tell me what's bothering you."
"Dempsey, wait!" He sees Charlie and walks together to the Great Hall for some snacks. He's nowhere to be seen until dinner time, tapping your shoulder while you're walking with your housemates.
"Can we talk?"
"Finally and sure thing."
"Come with me." He takes you to the Artefact Room, nobody would walk in there like ever. He's fidgeting to tell you what he's struggling with, you tilt your head.
"What is it, Dempsey?"
"I've done the essay."
That's good then."
"But I hate it."
"I keep thinking about... Him." You hear his voice croaking, trying to hold his tears until he can't contain the sadness anymore, you hug him.
"Calm down, babe. Tell me what's wrong."
"I don't wanna face a boggart, ever. My boggart is my dad and I can't face him..."
"Tell me again, slowly."
"It all began with the Wizard War..." He rambles, half crying, telling what he's afraid of the most, how that affects his life from now on and how strong is her mom taking care of him and May. It was unfortunate that he had to see his father died in front of him which gives him a big trauma. You stroke his back, calming him down.
"I'm scared, babe. I couldn't see my father's broken face in front of me, bleeding all over and... And..."
"Hush, babe. I'll protect you, okay?"
"I'll find a way. Go to bed." You wipe his tears away and kiss him goodnight. Gladly, Professor Lupin is still up and you subtly asking him about things.
You're right, he's sulking at the next class. The topic is Boggart, he stands in the backline while you're in the middle, he knows there won't be enough time for everyone to try. The class is full of laughter, but he keeps thinking about that day, the memories slowly crept up. You're the last one to try before the bell, everyone's leaving the room, he slings his arm over your shoulder, feeling relaxed. He wouldn't have attended the class if you don't bribe him with an apple pie.
That night, after dinner, Professor Lupin calls him to his office, he takes you along, pretending to not knowing things. In there, Lupin tells him what you're concerned about and agreed to give him a private lesson right now.
He's reluctantly agreed with zero preparation. It scares him, he screams at the first attempt, almost attacked at the second one, and gives up on the third attempt, sitting on the floor, sulking.
"I can't do this professor. It's too hard..."
"Clear up your mind, boy. You can do this."
"Lemme give you a demonstration." You stand up and take out your wand. He scowls that your Boggart is Chimaera, you huff, telling him to try again.
"Remember, he may be gone, but his bravery is still inside your heart. You have to be brave, Dempsey." Professor Lupin leans against the wall, watching you two. He frowns, looking at you two
"I'm not as brave as y/n or you, Professor."
"It has to be now or never, boy. You'll never know what might happen after this."
"Fine, let's give it another try." He points his wand at the chest, Professor opens it and lets the Boggart out, he sees his dad in anger, a destroyed face with blood all over his body.
"Take a deep breath, babe."
"Grr..." The Boggart's hissing, trying to assault him, he quickly says the spell.
"Riddikulus!" He closed his eye at it, you see the Boggart changed its appearance, you can see his dad's face; looks younger and holding a child's toy. Telling Zach to open his eyes, he did it slowly.
"Dad?" He sees his dad, holding his favorite toy, playing with it, he laughs.
"I remember that! That's my favorite toy! Dad, you're so funny!" He laughs at the shape-shifting creature, it dissolves and is gone.
"See, that wasn't so bad, right?" Professor Lupin smiles at him and locks the box.
"Thanks, Professor. I couldn't have done it without your help."
"Don't thank me, thank him. Oh, I guess you kids should leave now, it's late already."
"Y/n, thanks... If it wasn't you, I don't know who else." He holds your hand on the way out, smiling.
"Are you feeling braver now?"
"I'm not scared when I'm with you."
"I suppose you can have a good night's sleep then. See you tomorrow." You kiss him, walking separate ways back to your dorm.

YO my [GENDER APPROPRIATE HONORIFIC OF CHOICE] can you please do Hyuse and Osamu for the character interactions writing thing, please? Thank you very extremely much, and your blog header is also great.
Yo, sorry this took so long, procrastinating can be an ass.
(This is set pre Galo invasion)
Osamu had no idea what to do with this situation.
In front of him was Hyuse, a captive from Aftokrator, the nation which had invaded them not so long ago.
It was only the two of them currently in Tamakoma's main dining area and Osamu was feeling very uncomortable.
He had no idea what he was supposed to do in this situation.
Usually, whenever he and Hyuse were in the same room, there were other people around, so he never had to directly interact with Hyuse before. Which was fine since Hyuse didn't seem to want to interact with any of them, only really talking when it's either Yotaro or a necessity. And Osamu himself wasn't a social person, so not really interacting with Hyuse was fine.
... 'Till now that is.
All the other Tamakoma members were either out or were occupied with something else.
And Osamu, after getting badgered by everyone to finally take a break and eat something, did just that... but so did Hyuse and Yotaro, which didn't bother Osamu much.
But then Kizaki-san called for Yotaro, in a tone of voice that didn't mean well for Yotaro, and judging by the look he had, Yotaro knew exactly why Kizaki-san had used that tone, and he scurried off.
And now it was just Hyuse and Osamu.
Osamu at first tried to just focus on his food, like how Hyuse did, but then Osamu made the mistake of glancing towards Hyuse, and now he can't look away.
'Should I... say something? Or would he get mad at me for pointing it out?'
Osamu couldn't come up with a decision, so he just kept staring at the older boy.
Osamu couldn't help but jump at the question tho it felt more like a command?.
Guess he has been staring at him for so long that Hyuse got fed up with it.
"Oh! Oh... um... well... it's just that..."
"Just say it."
"What about them."
"It's..." Painful, he wanted to say. "... hard to eat like that, isn't it?" He ends up saying insted.
Hyuse looks at his chopsticks for a second, says "It's fine", and then goes back to eating.
Osamu is silent for a moment, before he decides to speak up again.
"But... um... your noodles keep falling out of it..."
As if to prove his point, the noodles Hyuse was about to place in his mouth slipped out of his chopsticks back into the bowl with a splat.
Hyuse is silent for a bit, looking at his fallen noodles, before picking them up again, with the same chopstick hold.
"I said it's fine." Hyuse repeats and Osamu decides that it's in his best interest to just leave this alone.
So he goes back to finishing his own food.
By the time he finishes, Kizaki-san comes back with whiny Yotaro who was yelling about injustice, and Hyuse still struggling with his chopsticks.

The type to cut your food for you
Yuuji’s favorite type of date is going out and eating a meal together. They say a way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, and Yuuji is living proof of such.
He notices you trying to cut your food, but struggling cause it was kind of tough. He simply smiles with a “let me” and manages to power cut that tough piece of food. He really should’ve done sports with the pure amount of strength he has.
From then on whenever you go out to eat, out of habit, your plate is slid over to Yuuji. He’ll cut up whatever you have and just so you don’t feel like you’re being needy, he takes a bite as payment. He thinks seeing your cheeks stuffed with food is payment enough, cause they just look so damn cute.
If he’s lucky, you’ll let him feed you. Really only happens for things you eat with a spoon but it still makes him really happy. Probably does some dumb baby shit like saying “hErE cOmEs ThE aIrPlAnE” just to piss you off.
Also I know that some people like to carry around their own chopsticks or utensils so if you do that, he carries them for you. They have a special spot in his bag, right next to his own.
The type to walk on the side closer to the street
Megumi really just likes spending time with you, so dates often are just walking around somewhere together. Most often it’s the little town near Jujutsu Tech. Even if you don’t do anything but roam around together it’s still comforting. I stand by the fact that Megumi’s love language is quality time and no, I do not take criticism.
Ever since you two had started dating, your discomfort around cars was apparent, so you walked instead of endlessly driving. Sadly, even in little towns, cars still roam the streets.
A while back, when you were on a date with him, you were the one walking closer to the road. Megumi noticed your obvious discomfort and wordlessly guided you to walk by his other side. You were trying to act tough so you stayed closer to the road. But then a car honked abruptly and you jumped to his other side so fast-
Ever since, it’s just been habit. He does think that the way you cling onto him whenever a car blares their horn or you cross the street is adorable. He’ll probably act like he doesn’t like it, while smiling and blushing.
The type to talk to the cashier / order the food
Queen here knows that talking to strangers can be scary for a lot of people. So when she found out that it made you anxious she wasn’t even fazed. Didn’t even flinch when she had to do most of the talking.
She’s pretty extroverted and charismatic so she will have zero problems doing the talking for the both of you. Honestly the sound of her voice is very relaxing to you, probably the only thing that keeps you calm in people-filled environments.
Whenever you’re shopping together, her ideal date, she’s always at the front. If there’s something you’re buying, just hand her your card, you both know each other’s pins already. She does think it’s really adorable when you hide behind her so you don’t have to talk to them.
At restaurants she is a-okay with ordering for you. Just tell her what you want and she’ll have it ordered. Also if you’re food comes out wrong and you’re too scared to tell the waiter, Nobara will have the waiter r u n n i n g over. Does not take any shit and will not watch you take any.
But whenever you do try to do things like order your food or talk to the cashier. She is always so supportive, helps you when you stumble over words or forget what to say. And the second you’re away or the waiter has left she showers you in praises. Tells you how proud she is of you and makes sure you feel loved.
The type to carry your bag
Gojo mf Satoru. He’s so extra, so of course he does such an extra action. Literally doesn’t care if you’re bag is light as a feather or so, so heavy, he’ll carry it. If you try to take it back he’ll just hold it over his head and laugh as you jump, trying to grab it. Thinks it’s really cute when you’re all angry and pouty.
Carries your shopping bags, if you have a purse he carries that, backpacks, duffle bags, body bags—
This has kind of become a way that you can be passive-aggressive to him though. Whenever you’re mad at him you put dumbbells in your bag cause he’s refuses to give it back to you even if he’s visibly struggling. Somehow, through pure spite, he gains godly strength, literally pulls a Yuuji.
He’s both prideful and stubborn so he won’t go down without a fight.
One time you went to the furniture store and bought a solid wood table (cause gojo’s rich rich). Then put a bag on one of the legs and looked at him like “you gonna carry my bag for me??”. That man actually lugged that table all the way back to your appartement out of pure spite.
Honestly, it was rather impressive.
The type to always hold your hand
Sukuna’s a man with a reputation, to say the least. Now that reputation was not a good one, and it certainly came with repercussions. Literally every time you go out without him someone tries to kidnap you to use as ransom.
The amount of Jujutsu Sorcerers that want you is phenomenal. The funny thing is that you are literally also a Jujutsu Sorcerer yourself. Just cause you’re dating a little cursey curse they got mad.
Sukuna knows this and usually tries to be with you when you go somewhere, or he sends a lower-grade curse to ‘guard’ you. So he has a habit of being a bit a lot over-protective when he’s with you.
Whenever you manage to sneak away from him, the second he finds you it’s a lecture. Always mentions that he was worries sick but just looks away whenever you say something along the lines of “awww, so you do care” cause he’s a tsundere.
Holds your hand at all times, even lets you drag him around to look at stuff. As long as you’re safe, just don’t point this out. He’ll get flustered and then pull a “see if I care” and you’ll get kidnapped—

If you ever find yourself struggling to write about cheap chinese takeout, heres something to help. Ask yourself these things:
1.) What is the texture of the noodles? Are they soggy? Stiff? Crunchy? Slimey?
2.) What meat is used in the noodles? How well is it cooked? What is the meats texture?
3.) Are there any vegetables that add crunch or other texture to the takeout? What do they do to the flavor?
4.) How warm is the takeout?
So you get something like this:
I plop down on my couch with a heavy sigh, dropping my bag in front of it like a heavy lifter drops a barbell. I was so tired from my long day at work, I just wanted to sit and relax for once. I pulled my phone out of my pocket, and like most sad milennials, i decide on doordashing some chinese takeout. Yeah, that sounds pretty damn good right now.
After about a half hour i got my takeout. Poor lady, probably thought i was a shut-in by how bad i looked at that moment. I fell back down onto my couch and pulled my coffee table closer to me. I take the white carton and parchment bag from the big plastic one used to deliver it. Sniffing the air i audibly sighed; nothing beat cheap chinese takeout. I opened the pair of chopsticks i was given and rubbed them together to get any splinters off, a trick my Mom taught me. With no hesitation I opened the whute carton, containing my hot and steamy portion of Shrimp Lo Mein, and it basically had me drooling. It smelt so good, and my stomach growled in response. I said a small prayer before digging in.
My mouth watered as the salty and savory noodles hit my tongue. The soy sauce making the noddles slippery helped me pull the rest of them into my mouth. I chewed on them promptly, finding their soggy and slightly overcooked texture to be kind of comforting. Once i swallowed that i picked up a peice of shrimp and popped it into my mouth. There was nothing special about the shrimp to be honest, it just tasted like it was covered in soy sauce and seasonings. Not that i was complaining. It was still delicious. The heat of the whole thing almost made me breathe out like a dragon, but not quite. I happily finished my noodles, my hunger seeming to be endless, then i take out the only eggroll from the bag of parchment. I hummed happily since Eggrolls were always one of my favorite chinese takeout side-dishes. He quickly bit into it, and since it was still warm the actual roll itself was still crunchy, and since it was filled with lettuce, pork, and egg, it had a savory, juicy and salty flavor. It was delicious.
Once i finished everything, i decided it was take to take a bath.. and i determined i would take care of the takeout tomorrow morning, once i felt better. But damn was that cheap chinese takeout good.

“It's cute when...”
Post Type: Drabble
Genre: Fluff, comfort
Characters: Kirishima Eijirou, Kaminari Denki, Midoriya Izuku, Todoroki Shouto, Bakugou Katsuki, Sero Hanta
Warnings: mentions of food
A/N: some comfort and fluff while i try to write and finish some requests ❤
It's cute when Eijirou passes by your room, greeting you with a toothy grin and a cute wink. You feel all the butterflies in your stomach and the heat in your face until Sero and Kaminari are winking and greeting you too. Eijirou's face becomes as red as his hair from embarrassment, then he shoos his friends away before running to you and hiding himself under your blankets. You just laugh and pat his shoulder. When he peeks out from between te soft fabrics, you greet him and attempt at copying the wink he did earlier to fluster him. It works and he's now completely cocooned within the blankets.
It's cute when Denki quietly enters your room and spoons you in your bed. He knows you've had a rough day, and he wants your day to at least end on a good note. He cuddles close to you, sometimes throwing off your blankets and wrapping his arms and legs around you. You smile and do the same, struggling a little when he jokingly squeezes you. He nuzzles his nose against yours and places soft kisses on your cheeks and forehead to bring you back to a happy mood for you to rest better.
It's cute when Izuku makes you your favorite food. No matter what it is, he studies it and tries to master it through trial and error. He knows the basics, now he just has to study some of the techniques used in making your favorite food. He's the one who insists on making it, and you can't say no when he looks at you excitedly with those bright green eyes of his. They're like emeralds, sparkling in the light of happiness while he works, and you watch him carefully cook with a smile that seems to be the source of that light.
It's cute when Shouto doodles on the corners of your notebooks when he thinks you're not looking. He doesn't know you know, and that makes it cuter. His doodles are usually food characters, most especially the soba bowl with noodles for hair and chopsticks for hair accessories. The poses are the same on every page corner, but the expressions are diverse. Your favorite is the stoic looking bowl on the front page of your English notebook. You named it Shouto, and you have already produced quite a number of stickers of it. Shouto is surprised when he sees the sticker on the cover of his English notebook.
It's cute when Katsuki invites you for tea. He likes black tea, white tea, and chamomile tea. He takes note of your favorites and makes sure to have it when he invites you over to his room. You both read his favorite books or talk about anything under the sun. You find it quite adorable when Katsuki is relaxed, enthusiastically explaining how brown sugar tastes better than white sugar because of the bitter note of molasses. He's very detailed with his explanations, and he's not dropped an F bomb so far. You just smile and listen, and somehow pink flowers are surrounding you two. The flowers disappear when he randomly starts throwing dirt at jasmine tea. You just smile and listen.
It's cute when Hanta is smiling and a blushing mess. You like to fluster him, make him rival the color of Kirishima's hair with your genuine compliments and acts of love and affection. You like to hold his hands when you walk, or link your arm with his. He gets worried about his elbows but you pay no mind, and you look so happy and comfortable with him. He just accepts it and it unconsciously makes him love himself more. He looks at the mirror and flexes his arms, only to fall apart into a blushing smiling mess in your arms. You're happy he's happy, but you want to make him even happier. You make it your daily goal.

"Say, have you ever had a lover before? As an adeptus who's lived for thousands of years, surely you've must've courted a lover or two in your lifetime."
He should have expected a question as prodding as this one from the snezhnayan. In fact, Zhongli was surprised that he had waited this long before asking him about such a personal matter. Not that it seemed to bother him in any way, of course. Amber eyes fixed upon the glowing cube that had conjured itself within the palm of his hand.
"Ah... yes, in fact. I have coupled with quite a few other adepti. It was not uncommon for adepti to court one another before taking them in as mates, and that includes humans that had ascended as an adepti before."
Eyes casting over towards Childe, the former archon continued as if he were recalling a memory just yesterday.
"Courting an adepti is very different than how humans court with one another. Picking out what the other adeptus would appreciate and use is the main type of courtship. I won't need to go into too much detail, although what you will know is that I have courted at least five different adepti during the years I have reigned as the lord of Geo. Another, a god. The divine attract other beings of divinity, and yet..."
His voice trails off, the man humming in thought.
"...and yet, despite how long ago that has been... I have never once courted a human. Merely due to a handful of reasons, but I assume you know why a thousand year old adepti wouldn't pair well with a human with such a short life span. I have heard of its possibilities before, which is why you may notice a half-adepti half-human, but from my knowledge, I guess I had not given much thought of it before. Mortal lives come and go so fast... and yet, even I have learned how to approach them with the upmost interest. It is why if I were to take interest in a mortal, I would attempt to figure out what it is they favor and use.”
He says as he watches Childe struggle with his chopsticks. A small grin upon his lips, as if knowing something that Childe did not.

this is how personally i have stopped my binges from happening, especially if there is food that causes me relapsing on purging:
ab workouts - instead of eating a cookie that causes me to purge the little i eat anyways, i do an workouts where it tends to hurt too much to binge / reduces high volume binging!
vegetables - if you feel like binging, vegetables are generally low cal in volume
freeze low cal drinks for something sweet - for example, if you crave sweets you can freeze diet coke or crystal light (10 cal) and have it as a popsicle to satisfy a sweet tooth
journal - i know sometimes when bingeing you lose self control, but before you completely do find any piece of paper and writing tool to write out what is triggering you to binge, why you feel the need to binge, how you would feel afterwards if you do. Even if you do binge, you write how you felt in the moment and afterwards immediately. Re-read it, and even read it in future binge urges as it may help minimize how much you end up binging!
increase restriction to 500 (lowest, your brain needs it) but low carb (no more than 35 carb) & no sugar - i know, it’s scary but this way you can maintain in ketosis and lose weight still by your body burning fat instead of always losing the same water weight. honestly, being under 35 total carbs & no sugar will always help keeping in ketosis so it is strangely helping lose weight and there is sugar substitutes in case sweets are too much to lose!
small utensils or chopsticks - slows down how fast you eat and makes food last longer than swallowing it in one bite
overall, i want to let you all know to take care of yourselves. i know it’s hard to have a normal relationship with food and accepting our bodies the way they are. recovery is possible, but some of us aren’t ready to recover mentally as most of us have yet to realize that it’s a unhealthy coping mechanism by our eating disorder being a mental disorder. eating disorders are not truly a weight disorder as many may think! i love you all, you are all beautiful even if you are struggling to accept it :) - from ur local friend w/ ana 🖤

[Scenario: Dreamies Ran Out of Chopsticks]
Renjun: "Food's ready."
*the Dreamies gather at the table and start eating*
Chenle: "Awe...are we all out of chopsticks again??"
Jeno: "Yeah...some of them need to be washed...you know what to do."
*Chenle sighs while getting up; grabs 2 toothpicks off of the counter*
Chenle: *sits back down at the table* "Thanks for the food dude."
Renjun: "Yeah no problem..."
*the gang silently watches Chenle struggle to pick up any noodles*
Chenle: *noodle falls off his toothpicks* "Uh...can you guys not stare at me?"
Haechan: "Sorry it's just really weird to see you eat like this. You look like a giant."
Chenle: "AH I STABBED MYSELF AGAIN."
i thought about this one night like can u use toothpicks as chopsticks? in a way, yea u can

I'm pretty sure we can all agree on this headcanon that @chickwiththepurpleguitar and I came up with:
Reggie is very enthusiastic and tries very hard but just... cannot get chopsticks to work for him
He keeps trying every time they have Chinese because "what if this is the time I get it to work, guys?"
Julie is in physical pain watching him drop his food every few seconds. There's sauce everywhere. She's going to have to wash everything
Julie is a natural because they've been getting Chinese since she was a little kid
Alex is obviously good at them because he spend so much time pretending with his drumsticks when he has nothing else to do
Luke learned to use them and immediately began to eat everything with chopsticks to rub it in that he can do something Reggie can't
This includes many items that should not be eaten with chopsticks
While Reggie is struggling to eat, Luke tries to steal all the good stuff
Alex and Julie take it in turns to smack his wrist so that when Reggie admits defeat there's at least some food left for him
And this is our reference for Luke eating with his chopsticks (there's even a beanie!):

Remember Me - Katsuki Bakugou x Fem!Reader
A/n: Okay so this is my first fic on this site, I'm sorry if it's bad. Also, part of this is inspired by Spencer Reid from Criminal Minds just because
Warnings: Reference to suicide (it's not explicit), angst, reader can't use plastic chopsticks (those things are so mf slippery), cursing, a bit of humor bc I can't take things seriously
Katsuki stared at the ceiling, feeling relaxed for the first time in so long. Yes, you still plagued his mind, but the weight on his chest felt more bearable in this moment. Maybe it was because his delusions that you would come back were stronger than ever now that he hadn’t slept peacefully in over a month, or maybe it was because he didn’t have the energy to blame himself for what happened right now. Whatever the reason, his vision doesn't blur and he doesn’t feel his heart crumple as consciousness slips away from him tonight.
He dreams about you again, just as he had for as long as he could remember. He cherished the fleeting memories playing on a loop in his head as he slept, from the times you kissed his knuckles every time you took his hand in yours to the times he hurt your feelings and you refused to meet his gaze.
He held every minute he spent with you close to his heart, thinking about how that was all he was ever gonna get, just those moments in time significant enough to stick in his brain. Never again would he hold you close or hear you laugh. Your stupid laugh. He tried to remember it. He can’t. He can’t hear it. Why was he forgetting? What was happening? He needed you and if he didn’t have you, he could cling to the past, but if he couldn’t even do that then what could he do? Move on and forget you? Absolutely not. He isn’t letting you get away from him again.
He needs to call you, make you laugh, keep his sanity. He sits up in bed and grabs his phone, unlocking it and trying not to look at you beaming up at him from his lock screen.
“If you can’t look at her, then just change your lock screen.”
“Kaminari’s right, you need to move on. Keeping her clothes and stuffed animals and everything else isn’t helping either, it’s just making you feel worse.” Mina commented
Katsuki didn’t answer. He couldn’t. In his subconscious, he knew they were right but he’d never admit that.
“...Bakugou?” Mina spoke again, wondering if he hadn’t heard them
“Maybe if you don’t like how I’m dealing with this, you should get the hell out of my house.” He growled in a low voice “Maybe you’re the ones making it worse.”
Katsuki tapped your contact in his phone and brought the device to his ear, listening to the soft ringing. It kept ringing. And ringing. And ringing.
“Hello?” You spoke through the phone
He sighed and leaned back but kept the device pressed to his ear.
“Hello?? Is anyone there? Can you hear me?”
He stayed silent.
“You’re gonna have to call me back, I can’t hear- I’m just kidding, this is a voicemail. I’ll call you back when I can, in the meantime you can just text me if you want. Bye!”
“Dumbass.” He huffed
He always hated your stupid voicemail. He claimed it was because it was too long but in reality it was because you had confused him with it one too many times. He’d never tell you that though. He never did. He also never told you that even though he hated it, he still thought you sounded cute.
“She’s just sleeping, she’ll call me back when she wakes up.” Katsuki murmured to himself
As he clicked his phone off and set it next to his alarm clock, he stared at the bright red digits that read 4:28 AM.
He has to wake up soon. He has to live his life again soon. He has to go outside and watch the sunrise as he patrols the streets without you complaining that it was too damn early. He has to watch it in silence and he can’t even look over to see your face sparkling as the orange rays dance across your skin. He has to save people and be reminded that he couldn’t save you. He has to eat lunch without laughing at you struggling with your chopsticks.
“It’s like trying to forage for food with a pair of number 2 pencils!” You whined as a piece of your food flung itself out of the grasp of your chopsticks, hitting you in the nose before falling into your lap “How does that even happen?!”
“It doesn’t, you’re just stupid. Here, lemme help you, dimwit.” He chuckled
He took your chopsticks and tied a rubber band around the end then handed them back to you.
“Is that better, baby?” He mocked
“Yes it is, you gremlin.”
You held up the bento box of food he’d made and smirked.
“I already am.”
“First of all, idiot, that’s the best food you’re gonna taste in this whole damn city so be grateful, you brat, and second of all, you’re not even eating it, your motor skills are so shitty that you can’t even put it in your mouth without getting it all over yourself.”
“It’s absolutely incredible, 1.3 billion people stay nourished using these things.”
He sighed and rubbed his eyes, thinking of the first time your dumbass finally got the hang of using plastic chopsticks instead of the wooden ones. You were so proud of yourself which amused him to no end but again, he’d never tell you that and again, he never did.
He glanced over at his stupid digital clock again that you thought was the most annoying thing in the world and read the time once more. 5:04 AM. Twenty-six more minutes before he has to get out of the cold bed, put his hero costume on, and pretend. Pretend he deserves the title “Hero”. Pretend that he doesn’t want to blast the whole city to smithereens in hopes that you’ll come and stop him. Pretend that you will come stop him if he does do that.
He misses you. He hates that he wasn't enough for you to stay. He hates how you aren't enough to get him to leave.
