You know what would be hilarious? If he next time Mordo shows up he's completely unaffected by Stephen. No anger, nothing. The whole "you hate me where I come from" and "he dedicated his life to trying to kill me"? Never happened from Mordo's POV. It's just something Stephen made up, probably born out of some misunderstanding. Next time they meet Mordo will be like "I never said that? The fuck are you talking about?" Plot twist: Stephen is the obsessed one.

Now THIS makes so much more sense dear Nonny! I can see Stephen absolutely misunderstanding something that happened between them and his overactive mind just exaggerated the situation. Or maybe he spent so much time regretting his decision not to find Mordo right away. And maybe guilt was too much, and in order to cope he convinced himself that it’s not his fault or that it was justified because Mordo hates him now. Just Stephen doing mental gymnastics in order to convince himself to dislike Mordo

Which honestly happens when people are so sure about something in their own heads that they’re unwilling to see what’s in front of them. I love the idea of Mordo just living his absolute best life, all free and powerful, and not regretting his choice. And Stephen’s obsession just becomes this amusing part of his life 😆 🥰

Hi~ After years off Tumblr, I've come back to this space to post thing related to my fic writing and various headcanons for the Doctor Strange property. For people who know my fics (zenkitty555 on Ao3), they know I primarily ship Strordo, Worange, Wordo, with a smattering of Lordo and some other smaller pairings.

At the moment I'm current working on a Worange long fic, Omegaverse, Non-Magic AU set in the mid 1950s. It's currently at 39k and growing. I'll start posting chapters soon, and hopefully at a steady pace.

I also am working on a smaller 838 Strordo fic that is influenced by the first Strordo fic I ever wrote for the fandom way back in 2017. 😱

I rewatched DS movie last night and realised something.

Stephen radiates this magical energy that attracts both troubles and gentlemen to save him to his way.

Case in point:

Doctor Strange movie

Stephen: *saving and bandaging a limping dog, getting mugged in an alley*

Mordo: imma save this damsel in distress *spending the whole movie mooning over the chaotic sorcerer*

Infinity War

Stephen: *basically breathing his charm out everytime Tony Stark is near, then getting abducted*

Tony: imma save this damsel in distress *getting onboard the donut ship, holding Stephen when he's on the verge of panic attack*

Seriously he's the Disney princess of the MCU. With flashy red cloak and all? I think the fact that some fans around make edit of him in cartoon look with a bird perched on his finger rings true.
