If the kingdoms at the end go all independent. Who ends up king in the north? I assume Sansa is queen in the vale with Harold hardying but is bran really ok for king in the north? Will it go to Rickon?

talked about this a little before but basically I don't really see the seven kingdoms each becoming independent: I think whatever becomes of the Targaryen legacy, Aegon's ice & fire dream (or whatever it was called lol) was clear that there was strength in unity and I think that echoes throughout asoiaf generally.

I think it's likely Sansa will govern the North (I agree that her arc in preparing her for that role is incomplete, but at least she has that arc where compared to Rickon). Arya's a charismatic character and a strong leader besides, you could certainly say she'd be as good at governing as Sansa. but I just don't really feel like a governing role resonates in her story regardless, so that does leave Sansa (who I personally really doubt will just marry Harold Hardyng and settle down in the Vale for all of time)

and I fully buy into the Bran as a fisher king theory - I don't think he'll govern exactly but will become a figurehead of westeros, uniting the people and the land. doubt he'll be based in King's Landing as that's likely to be a pile of ash and in any case was always very much part of the political plot, divorced from the supernatural and the struggles of the rest of Westeros. you constantly get a sense of KL as a corrupted seat where the monarchs and their court are entirely removed from the smallfolk on their very doorstep, so I don't see it having a place in Bran's reign, whatever that ends up looking like

i very much do not have a preference or an opinion on this! i read and write either - the important thing for me is that they're recognizable to my understanding of the characters and i don't see either of them as massively frail, demure, twinky, etc so that's usually the stuff i don't read or interact with (and i've moved away dom/sub stuff currently) though more power to you if that's what you like! to me, their sexual positions in bed do not make up a big part of their characters, so i really can switch between both and enjoy it all.

it's just not the interesting part of a story for me, and honestly (and i know this is controversial or what passes for controversial in a fandom lol) i don't tend to tag my explicit fics with who is topping and who is bottoming if there's penetrative sex involved - especially for longer fics because the story isn't about that in my mind. it's a very small aspect of it and the least important part

i do think i've seen a lot of conflating dom/sub with top/bottom lately and that's a trend that comes and goes like waves and also a trend i very much dislike. i definitely have stronger views on conflating dom/sub and top/bottom than i have on who should top and who should bottom LOL

omg anon you want me deadddddd it's genuinely so good. top 3 TS album for me immediately, i need to let it marinate but it's miles better than midnights. a lot of people compare it to other albums and it's all over the place so don't trust me on this, but TO ME it's adjacent to reputation. it has moodiness and sexiness but it also has stark vulnerability from TS that is usually my glaring criticism of her lacking. also yes the composition is SO bleachers/the 1975 (lmfao understandably) which is my thing to a T but isn't everyone's thing! but like all tswift albums, ttpd has tonal cohesion. but NOT like all tswift albums, ttpd has emotional stakes like it cut a bit deeper than folklore/evermore at times which is like the highest compliment i can give her regarding depth. none of these songs i could really call superficial

now ttpd has its fair share of flaws that i can absolutely get into but the strengths more than made up for them for me. it's not as bright and bubbly as lover but carries a similar thread throughout the album that lover excelled at, but that thread happens to be both religious AND life/death imagery like she threatens to kill herself and others like the entire time. obsessed. all i can say is we are getting fed for good omens fic titles <3

what is the distinction between swapfell and fellswap? why is one of them purple but only sometimes and also red but only sometimes? where did the purple come from???

i know i've seen both before. it seems like they get redesigned a lot, i don't know if i've seen a canon (fanon-canon? canon-fanon?) design for either, and i'm not totally sure what makes them different.

i mean the art. slaps? it looks like it slaps. i don't have a clue what's going on here, but i'll act like i do!

(ig that means i don't really have a take. i like the underfell au enough so seeing a variety of swapped version of it is chill, i kind of get the appeal. glad people are having fun.)

SPOILERS FOR TUA S3 & MY PERSONAL OPINIONS (very long lmao)

as much as i love the latest season of tua, i am kinda disappointed that majority of the sparrows (aside from ben & sloane) are all killed off halfway through the season seeing as such a big deal was made out of them all

i was interested in seeing alphonso & jayme and how their powers worked but they got killed too soon?? and don't even get me started on marcus,, poor baby :'(

that was probably the biggest negative to this season seeing as all the insta, for example, was creating so much cool promo for them just to see most dead by episode 5

however, this season still pulled through amazingly, starting with the beautiful family bonding!! like luther n klaus, luther n viktor, allison n diego, five n klaus, klaus n sparrow!ben (although they were drunk), plus adding lila into that mix just creates such beautiful moments with each of the characters

also, luther finally finds happiness with sloane!!!! those two are so cute together, and the big guy gets his family moments with everyone and he just deserves everything <3

another major thing is klaus improving his powers and it was revealed he actually died early on as a kid as part of training. im on the fence whether im happy for this development bc of the way reggie trained him,,, idk

and holy shit allison was all over the place this season,, i understand her frustration at viktor but idk,, all i do know is that she was so unhinged this season but im kinda digging the haircut she gave herself, fed into the badass 'i don't give a single fuck anymore' vibe lol

1. The character everyone gets wrong

i've said it before, i'll say it again. most people get c!Owen wrong!! i'll say it, separating him into "maze!owen" & "c!/beforemaze!" owen comes off as the most negative system headcanon i've seen from something not intended to be that way. he's just one dude who takes the past over the present, and like yeah it's jarring but that's the point. you (as the viewer) don't know everything about him, and it honestly isn't as out of left field as people treat it to be

9. Worst part of canon

honestly? how short the time mohwee was missing for! i feel like it would've made more sense for him to have been missing for longer, and after people gave up hope and stopped listening to c!sillvia (not agreeing with the cc, just speaking about the character, since they were important to this whole bit), then he could've come back. it would've been more narratively fulfilling that way!

C!APO'S POV. C!APO'S POV. just, his pov. all of it. like. people don't ignore him in regard to c!owen's pov of him, but they ignore his actual pov / reasonings and they just kinda make him some half-baked villain who did something bad for the sake of doing something bad
