Regarding that ask you got about the character ages, this obsession people have with them loops right back into highly disturbing territory not only due to shipping but also because everything needs to be nuclear 1970s style 2 parents and 1.8 children who are all siblings familiar relationships these days instead. Like, to bring up the example of Vector and Espio... personally I find the idea of a twenty year old being a DAD, a FATHER, not brothers but a clear dynamic of parent and child, to a sixteen year old far more disturbing than just shipping the two of them, aged up or ages undefined if that makes you feel more comfortable about it. Especially since nine out of ten times that sixteen year old is shown to be far more mature and on top of things than the twenty year old... why the hell does he need a dad? HE could be dad to both Vector and Charmy and personality-wise I could see that work out more!

True. It's the same logic that destroyed the trope of the found family: instead of being "this group of people are not related in any way but their relationship is close enough that they consider each other a loving family", now it's "this character is the mom, this character is the dad, this character is the brother...". Basically recreating the model of the nuclear family and shoving characters in every role regardless if they fit or not, because it's convenient.

Vector being Espio's dad makes zero sense. He's the leader of Team Chaotix, yes, but that doesn't make him a father figure. Hell, I'm not even sure Vector could be a father figure to Charmy! He's just not the type.

Vector and Espio are way too close in age, and the latter absolutely isn't the type that needs to be babysat. I actually like their dynamic as it is, on the surface it looks like Espio is the one with the braincell, but they're actually both smart and they notice different things. Also, I never got the feeling that the team leaders hold any actual authority over the others? Like, I don't think there's any power imbalance between Vector and Espio lol, if Espio ends up following Vector despite disagreeing with him it's just because Vector has a strong, brash personality :P

I wish people could simply say "I don't vibe with Vecpio" and leave it at that, instead of coming up with these excuses to pretend their dislike needs to be categorically respected.

Sometimes I look back to my beginnings. This is my first drawing of Elio and Oliver (Timmy and Armie). At the time, I never thought I would be using a translator every day 😅. My English still hasn't improved. I can read the English text if I take the time, but I can hardly hear what they are saying in the video. You've probably waited months for this response, I'm sorry anon-!

Here's what I think they'd watch!

Asta: Naruto

Need I say more? Underdog main character who refuses to give up and works hard to make a name for himself despite being stigmatized by society? Naruto is Asta's hero.

Noelle: Akatsuki no Yona

I feel like Noelle would relate so much to Yona. Seeing her grow from a spoiled princess to a strong female character would inspire Noelle to do the same! I can see Noelle being a big fan of anime with strong female leads. Strong meaning development, not just physical.

Magna: Tokyo Revenger

I feel like Magna would find familiarity with the delinquent lifestyle that occurs within the anime. However, what really hooked Magna was the emphasis on loyalty and bonds. As a loyal boi, he’d understand the lengths the characters will go for their gang. And he’d obviously root for Takemichi to save his girl!

Luck: Hunter x Hunter

The sinister slow burn of Hunter x Hunter along with dynamic fighting scenes would peak Luck's interest. His favorite character would obviously be Killua, but he’d probably relate more with Gon personality wise. Which is a big yikes. BUT!! He’d like to fight Hisoka in real life.

Charmy: Food Wars

Alright, who saw this coming? What can I say? Charmy loves an anime that respects the art of cooking!

Finral: Horimiya

Finral would be a fan of various romance and harem anime, but I think he’d enjoy Horimiya the most. He’d appreciate the themes of not judging a book by its cover and how it tackles romance realistically.

Vanessa: Perfect Blue

I can see Vanessa being into more mature anime. Specifically mature anime that centers around a female lead. I know you specifically asked for an anime “series”, but I think Perfect Blue is the perfect anime (movie) for her. It’s a psychological thriller that touches upon public image and identity.

Grey: Princess Jellyfish

This anime was honestly made for Grey. It not only touches upon various types of otakus, but it also contains a lot of great characters that I’m sure Grey will enjoy watching and be comforted by. Especially when she can see herself in some of the characters!

Gordon: One Piece

THE POWER OF NAKAMAS!! Gordon loves the optimistic and idealistic tone of One Piece. Gordon would love the themes of friendship and hope. That no matter what background you come from, you can still fight for your dreams.

Gauche: Demon Slayer

I feel like gore is something Gauche wouldn’t mind seeing in his anime. But what specifically got him hooked to Demon Slayer was the significant themes of family. Seeing Tanjirou finding a way to cure his little sister is something he can see himself do if Marie were to turn into a demon. The different types of familial dynamics within the story might also interest him as well.

Yami: Gintama

Gintama radiates Yami’s type of humor. It has a lot of toilet jokes and gags. It’s the type of anime that doesn't take itself seriously… until it does. When it gets more serious, it hits differently. Similar to how Yami is as a character. He’d vibe so much with Gintama himself.

Zora: My Hero Academia

In this modern AU, Zora is secretly a superhero comic book fan, so obviously he’d be into My Hero Academia. He’d wish people like All Might actually exist in real life. Really vibes with Aizawa though.

Henry: Spy X Family

I think Henry would be a big fan of the found family trope! And what better anime to showcase this trope than Spy X Family!

Nacht: Neon Genesis Evangelion

This anime is a rollercoaster ride that Nacht would definitely enjoy. The way it subverts anime tropes and dives deep into the human psyche of the characters is what makes this anime fun to watch. Not only does it use religious motifs and twist it, but it's an anime that isn’t afraid to push boundaries and make you feel uncomfortable.

ships: I’m a multishipper who isn’t much of a shipper in the first place so it’s hard for me to say I like a ship a lot because I know I’d get tired of it the next week or month. currently though I find myself enjoying ships I didn’t have strong opinions before like magna/sol, luck/sally, charmy/yuno, and finral/vanessa.

friendships: magna and luck? asta and liebe? or the recent yami and nacht? that’s bromance at its finest for you and I'm all for it! oh and I vibe with a lot of potential dynamics like gauche and zora or luck and charmy or asta and grey!

uhm, in another world where the bulls are aware of nacht's existence and have met him a few times, but they absolutely refuse to talk or even mention his name, asta and noelle - the two newbies - would get super curious and try to investigate about the mysterious vice captain everyone seem to hold a deep grudge against, only for the bulls to pull a disney move and sing the "we don't talk about bruno nacht-o" while venting off.

in my defense the question says "at random" and I had to come up with something to work with this song.

ok so y’all remember how the magic parliament wanted to put the blame of the elf attacks on asta and used him as a scapegoat? let’s say that they did, and it worked, and julius couldn’t help him, so the black bulls had to step in and fight against the parliament; results? the one squad known as the black bulls will be officially disbanded, the members will be stripped off from their titles, and then they will all be exiled to the forsaken realm where they won’t be allowed to step foot neither on the common nor the noble realms.

this turned out to be the worst decision ever made in a courtroom because one month forward the one kingdom known as clover kingdom lost a third chunk of its territory as towns in the forsaken realm, filled of citizens and refugees alike, all declared their loyalty to the freshly created kingdom.

asta was apparently the leader.

short story not, after the courtroom asta had a lot of complicated feelings and said “fuck it,” he went through a self-searching, self-reflecting journey then came back with the conclusion that perhaps what he needed is to go back to basics and start working from his home, so he went to each and every town in the realm helping people and refugees from other kingdoms with the bulls tagging along; they built houses, provided food, taught kids, cleared dungeons, shared knowledge, and all that... life is better than ever, people are happier than ever, and the bulls are freer than ever.

asta was as much surprised as everyone else when people waked up one day and decided that they’ll follow him as their new leader, with hage as their capital and licht’s skull as the inspiration of what would be the kingdom’s flag.

because no one treated this new kingdom seriously at first and just made fun of “them peasants acting like they’re a big deal smh”, it was commonly referred to as the “joker kingdom”

so like, after zavok gets his ass kicked and sent to jail in idw, what if cream went to visit him? she was the one initially talking to him before he got his ass kicked. and everyone at the resistance is like ??? about why she visits, but she does

zavok is equally confused but it’s nice to get away from his cellmates so it works for him. she brings him baked goods and talks to him until they have something of a Game Plan relationship

he then asks once about how strong she is and why that might be for someone so young, and she explains what happened to her chao and mother and how espio lost his family too, and whisper lost tangle, etc… and how she had to be strong for characters like amy and silver, even sonic who was isolated from his friends

and i dunno. maybe that changes something for zavok. the way he views family, or even his adversaries as a whole. it makes him rethink how this brave young child isn’t scared of him because she’s lived through worse, but she shouldn’t have

maybe she mentions emerl, or cosmo. it depends on the lore being used but it’s something too, not to mention her frequent separation from her mother in-game.

zavok gets out on good behaviour and cream will always invite him over for tea parties, which is how he meets vanilla. she isn’t phased or worried like everyone else because she trusts her daughter’s judgment and knows that if cream likes zavok, he has potential to be good, so vanilla will be nice to him too

i’ll probably call it here because the chaotix shenanigans will ruin the wholesome vibe but like… the tldr is that vector loves vanilla and buries the hatchet to be the bigger person and accept zavok alongside vanilla and cream, which forces espio to bite his tongue. charmy knew the whole time thanks to cream, but was sold on the ship instantly aka the first time vector met reformed-zavok, because now he can have more parental figures, and whether vector knew it or not, the reason he wasn’t jealous of zavok for being close to vanilla is because he wanted both of them 😳

It's a fun pair to write. Cleverly Charismatic Scientists and Aggressively Paranoid Assassin. It's basically a haters to lovers dynamic with mere complete opposites that accidentally grow soft for one another. It oddly ended up being a comfort ship for me.

Also their red & blue lol. (Mimic is blue, not purple and I will die on this hill)

2. Mimic × Fang / Fimic(????)

I've said once, I'll say it again. It's Legimate Threat × Dumb@$$ and I live for it.

I originally thought of the duo platonically, but then it quickly spiraled into shipping. It's just a funny pairing that I can use to fuse the timeline's and have a good time.

It's also interesting to write if you take them in a similar direction of Mimic canonically catfishing some guy for 10 years, but take out the catfishing part and make it legitimate dating.

Headcanons for what everyone did while training in the heart kingdom?

Hm, now there's a thought! We really don't know what the Cloverians did while in Heart Kingdom, do we? For all the filler we got in the anime, they didn't expand on the time spent in Heart Kingdom. (Not to shade the anime but it's true!)

To be clear, for these headcanons, I'm going to discuss the characters shown to be training within Heart Kingdom based on the anime. Not all of the blurbs are the same length. The headcanons are just what I come up with.

Thanks for the ask, anon! Thank you for giving me something to think about! Hopefully, you enjoy the headcanons I came up with.

Asta: While in Heart Kingdom, Asta is as sweet as ever. He would write plenty of letters to Hage talking about how beautiful the land is. He'd include crude drawings of the cool magic and environments he sees in Heart. He might also try writing to Yuno to invite him over. Asta wants to see his #1 rival more often and believes Yuno would thrive if he trained in Heart. Aside from that, I can imagine Asta going on nature hikes through the jungles because, well, Asta does have a tiny bit of "the child that wanders off in the grocery store" vibes. I'm not saying that to be mean, that's just what it is!

Noelle: I see Noelle as someone to take it easy when not training. She's not completely lazy though. She's a princess so she'd probably occupy her time by learning about Heart Kingdom's history. It's founding, legends, and other local traditions. I can also see her dropping loads of cash on souvenirs to her family, the Bulls and her blood family. For the Bulls not in Heart, she she'd want them to be able to enjoy it indirectly. And although she isn't close to her siblings, she's trying to mend their broken bond and small gifts might be a good start.

Luck: This battle addict would've been asking the Spirit Guardians to fight him throughout the six month time skip. Gadjah and Smurik ignore Luck. Potrof and Sarado tell Luck that they're strong but it's to protect, not fight. Floga almost goes for it but then he spies one of his colleagues in his periphery, shaking their head disapprovingly. When not looking for a fight, Luck is probably looking for fun things to do with Magna once they finally reunite. Secret groves to brawl in, daring food to eat, anything that would be fun to do with his closest friend.

Charmy: Charmy being herself, she would've spent her time sampling all the delicious fresh food found in Heart Kingdom. But she's also sociable. When she gets something to eat, she probably has a lengthy conversation with whoever is sharing with her. A gourmand and a chef, she would compliment the taste of the fresh ingredients and ask questions about local recipes. She'd also be willing to share cooking techniques from Clover, whether or not asked.

Secre/Nero: I think when it comes to free time, Secre would make trips to Clover. She's watched time fly in the kingdom but she never got to experience much of it being stuck as a bird. She would visit old places she went to with Lumiere. She'd want to see what's changed and what's stayed the same, to finally reconcile the different world she's now living in.

Finral: This good man wasn't just banging his head against any available surface to prevent himself from flirting with other women while in Heart Kingdom. A part of me imagines Finral as a poet, making observations to include in his next piece. He might try to pick up some new skills to distract him from girls give him more ways to kill time and have something show off to the others when he comes back.

Mimosa: Mimosa is enjoying the distance between her and Kirsch. She's free to enjoy Heart Kingdom her way instead of having to be dragged along by her brother. I could also see her getting involved in community betterment projects. Like, say, clearing out a section of forest hit by some plant disease to keep it from spreading. She is a giving and friendly person so I think she could easily get caught up in Heart's sense of community.

Leopold: Lots and lots of letters to Fuegoleon and Mereoleona. Correspondence with his brother is frequent. His sister, not so much. He might also be like Noelle and get souvenirs to bring back. Maybe or once or twice, Leopold might try to sneak a conversation with Lolopechka and Undine to talk spirit stuff in Fuegoleon's place.

Charlotte: Since it's shown that Charlotte has a garden, at least at her squad's base and probably at her family manor too, I think she'd pick up some gardening techniques from the farmers in Heart. I think Charlotte gardens as stress relief and a practice in patience and observation. The flowers are like her squad, they rely on her attention and care to bloom to their full potential. But unlike her squad, they don't push her into confronting her feelings for Yami. So to have a better garden, Charlotte would pick up tips like how to keep soil rich or learn which plants grow best when placed together.

Rill: Heart Kingdom is a drop dead gorgeous place to be in. The land is no replacement with his heroic muse but it would be a lie to say Rill wasn't inspired by the place. With permission from Lolopechka, Rill gets to painting various locations and creates an art collection from the finished works. some of my mighty headcanons

I said this before but mighty is what is considered good looking on sonics planet

I believe in mighty infinite strong but hes his strongest if he has a goal or hes feeling strong emotions usually something like hurting feelings

It is very easy for him to find jobs and he does small working like retail if he is very broke which he is all the time so rare occasions him and ray are in town they will work to get some income for whatever reason and go back in the forest to be forest children

Mighty is still a chaotix LIKE you dont leave the chaotix you are here for life

He comes around to solve some crimes he was very confused to come back and find honey working with the chaotix and she was very angry that he didnt know who she was

Sidequests thoughts:

Honey is part of the chaotix because she just enjoys the family vibe and wants to be part of the family

Honey thinks mighty and ray are hot but wants a piece of ray more than anything else

When they are around she likes to model her clothes on them

Honey loans vector money and expects to be paid back >:3 wheres my money croc

Honey and vector have a good business dynamic somehow get along well due to their chaotic nature

Inside honey is just as weird as they are and is very happy to be part of the chaotix detective family

She is a spy for them

Mighty and espio have a strange get along dont get along relationship and it's very hard to tell if they are friends on the outside but they are actually close friends who would do alot for eachother

Mighty always brings something from the forest to charmy be it a cool story or a item

Mighty has mad respect for vector to still be running this joke of a agency for this long

Mightys dad and Sonics adopted dad Aleenas husband grew up together and are friends

Mighty knows he is always welcome to stay with the chaotix but he doesnt want to sleep In their house or eat their food because he knows what it's like to try to save money

Mighty approves of Matilda being goth and experimenting her goth on him but she says he has more of a hot cowboy look which he doesnt understand and fiona agrees on

Fiona and Matilda are friends by association but dont talk much and barely know the other exist yet believe eachother to be someone they could trust (Fiona frequently goes: oh yeah you got a sister right?)

Sonic Cuddle Headcanons

Your conductors are screaming at the wheel together... wait, why is there a wheel in a train?

Sonic

Let it be known that the blue blur enjoys cuddling, and all his friends are allowed to snuggle with him.

He just doesn’t really cuddle often or feel the need to.

Sonic is a lazy cuddler with anyone, even his s/o.

He’s not partial to anything specifically when it comes to cuddling and goes with the flow.

He’d just prefer something not going on too long because he does feel like he needs to do something, and running tends to be a thing he likes to do.

And, well, cuddling is hard while running.

There’s not really anything specific with his s/o he does aside from occasional lazy nuzzles and kisses.

Sonic isn’t too into spooning really.

It’s not often he’s cuddling as is, so he’s really not doing much spooning either.

The most he would have is his s/o on his chest, but Sonic is the type to get restless in bed to really do much snuggling in bed.

Knuckles

A flustered boy, especially with his s/o, who would be the only one he’d be cuddling with.

He just has the mind that snuggles is more so for intimate relationships like romance.

He’s not very good with PDA in general and gets easily flustered by it, so he much prefers his snuggling in private.

He’d still be pretty nervous and red faced with cuddling his s/o in private at the beginning of the relationship, but as time goes on, he doesn’t get as flustered.

Most definitely a big spoon. He just wouldn’t feel as comfortable being held and would prefer to be the one doing the holding.

Amy Rose

She cuddles everyone. She’s the poster child for cuddling.

She really enjoys snuggling with her friends and especially her s/o.

In fact, her s/o gets special ultra cuddles.

Amy has a large preference on being a little spoon, though she could do just fine being a big spoon.

But she’d prefer being the little spoon because she’d like to have the warmth around her and feel her partner hugging her. But, it’d also be due to wanting to be like the movies and books where a strong man holds a delicate woman.

Even though she could absolutely punch pretty much anyone through the wall.

Shadow

Not into PDA, so not a big fan of cuddling with friends in a casual way in public.

Snuggles are really only reserved for his s/o.

Even then, he doesn’t really actively show or indicate how he feels about cuddling or if he even wants them.

So his s/o is really the only one of the two to initiate any cuddling.

When they do cuddle with him, he doesn’t exactly show how he feels about it too much.

Shadow doesn’t hate cuddling, but he doesn’t love it either.

Not to say he doesn’t enjoy cuddling, he just doesn’t show how he’s enjoying it much aside from a soft smile every now and again.

Shadow isn’t a fan of spooning too much, but if he is doing it, he’ll only be the big spoon.

He isn't the little spoon. He’d like to have control in the situation.

Rouge

Proud cuddler.

Shamelessly so.

She does only the lightest of cuddling with friends, but not much.

Closer friends she totally doesn’t mind getting into the “this is a straight up cuddle session” vibe.

Her s/o has to deal with a new level of cuddling.

Rouge isn’t clingy, but she’s needy and will not be subtle about wanting some snuggle time.

She likes to have pampering done to her, but she’s certainly all for doing some loving on her s/o easy.

She’s absolutely both a little spoon and big spoon. It really just depends on her s/o and their preference.

Silver

Awkward cuddler.

He likes to cuddle with either of his friends or s/o, but he’ll end up pretty nervous throughout the whole time.

At some point he’d let himself relax more when he does it more, but a new cuddle buddy will be faced with a stiff boy.

When he finally enters a relationship with his s/o or crushing on his s/o, he’s back to being stiff and awkward again for quite awhile.

There’s an incredibly high preference to being a little spoon, and he makes it clear that this is his preference.

He wouldn’t mind being the big spoon if his s/o wants to be a little spoon, but he’s never volunteering to be the big spoon.

And, although he loves doting on people, he really loves being doted on himself.

Blaze

She’s also an awkward mess when it comes to cuddles.

Only her s/o would be allowed to cuddle with her.

Blaze doesn’t necessarily look to having cuddles unless it's been a long day or she’s totally stressed and needs the attention.

She’s more inclined to be a big spoon, but she’d be fine being a little spoon as well.

It really depends on who her s/o is.

Though if given the choice, there is a much larger preference to being the big spoon so she can feel she has more control in the situation.

Espio

Cuddling privileges with Espio are restricted to his s/o and Charmy and Vector to a degree.

Vector more so has accidental cuddle action on both parties.

Nothing too much though, most being Espio leaning on Vector and falling asleep during a movie or when they’re out camping for whatever reason.

Charmy however is a cuddle machine from the start.

The bee needs affection, and Espio doesn’t mind giving it to him.

There’s been plenty of moments where the two are just sleeping completely knocked out on the couch (or Charmy wide awake with Espio asleep and perhaps with marker drawings on his face and horn).

Or when Charmy gets a nightmare and doesn’t go to Vector for the night, Espio is fine with giving the bee comfort.

Any sort of domestic cuddles can happen between Charmy and Espio.

With his s/o, Espio doesn’t seek cuddles unless he was deathly worried about them and just needed to have it cemented that they’re with him.

Similar to Charmy, he also wouldn’t mind giving cuddles to his s/o if they wanted it or see they clearly needed it.

He doesn’t really do spooning and would need to be reminded he’s not the only one in bed.

Espio doesn’t seem like the type to lay on his side often since it gives an opening to any attackers.

So the fix it here would be to have his s/o laying on his chest with his arms wrapped around him.

Jet

Cuddles with Jet are only with his s/o rather than with friends.

He wouldn’t actively search for cuddles really.

The times he does is when he’s genuinely tired or after an extremely bad day where he’s bitter but also completely exhausted.

However, he doesn’t necessarily outright say he wants cuddles but rather strongly suggests to his s/o that he wants cuddles before they give in to what he wants.

When he isn’t having tired cuddles, he sometimes gives the occasional snuggle, just not much.

Typically, he only gives the cuddles when his s/o wants to, but he certainly has his moments when he’s relaxing that he alludes to wanting to cuddle.

His preferred style of cuddling would be where his s/o is on his chest.

Jet is also determined to be the big spoon, and sometimes he manages to keep being the big spoon, but he typically ends up falling into being the little spoon naturally.

Wave

Her s/o practically drags her for cuddles.

Wave really just likes to do things and doesn’t enjoy doing nothing.

She can certainly do nothing for a bit and relax, just not too long and wants to be doing something.

As a result, Wave doesn’t actively seek snuggles.

She’s also the type where when she’s not doing it, she sees no appeal or point of cuddles.

But when she’s actually having a cuddle fest, she melts into it.

Wave seems like the type to have too often a broken sleep schedule to really be spooning anyone with her going to bed when her s/o is getting up.

If any spooning does happen, it’s really give or take as to if Wave is the big or little spoon with who she’s with and who’s more awake.

Some nights, there’d be no spooning taking place.

She’s overall not very affectionate in a physical sense, but wouldn’t mind receiving or giving attention.

However cuddles are off limits for friends.

Infinite

Not at all a cuddle buddy really.

Tends to avoid it. If he does cuddle, it’d only be with his s/o, and even then it doesn’t happen much.

He’s more mixed feelings about cuddling and doesn’t actively try to do it.

When he does, it’s certainly on part by his s/o or complete accident.

Subconsciously however, Infinite is certainly a big spoon and often reaches anything in his grasp to spoon something.

Honey the Cat

Honey adores cuddles, and her snuggles are reserved for her s/o and incredibly close friends.

She tends to lowkey make sure when she’s cuddling with someone that it’s all aesthetically pleasing.

Sometimes it’s on purpose, other times not so much.

Honey prefers being the little spoon, but she’s occasionally willing to be the big spoon.

Bunnie Rabbot

CUDDLE MACHINE.

This woman will suplex you into a hug.

She’s just dandy about giving cuddles to anyone who’s a friend, family, and so on.

Bunnie wants to be the big spoon all the time, wrapping herself around her s/o.

Just giving nuzzles and kisses every now and again.

Antoine D’coolette

Easily the most flustered boy.

Whether platonic or romantic.

Once he gets around, he very much enjoys his cuddles.

However, to him, cuddling seems too intimate for something done between friends.

So only really his s/o and children would be allowed for snuggling with him.

Antoine would have the preference of a little spoon certainly, though he wouldn’t mind being the big spoon every now and again.

He’s just embarrassed to say that he prefers being a little spoon.

Hello! I really appreciate the ask!

This concept has always been something I’d love to see more of since the possibilities are endless. I’m going to answer this prompt with the assumption that each member properly went through the magic knight exam and were chosen by a different squad captain. I’ll be explaining my thoughts in detail for each member.

Crimson Lions

Asta: Crimson Lions

I think Asta’s determined and headstrong personality would work well within the Crimson Lions. The Crimson Lions seem to be a very disciplined and hardworking squad thanks to Fuegoleon’s leadership, which Asta would thrive in. I like to believe that Asta’s ambition of being Wizard King and outstanding fighting prowess during the exam would impress Fuegoleon enough to have him join his squad. Asta might also serve as a role model where it doesn’t matter what status or magic amount you have, as long as you work hard you are destined for greatness. This would align with Fuegoleon’s value. Also, Leopold would have a more consistent rivalry with Asta which would make him improve more quickly and effectively.

Zora: Crimson Lions

I think that Zora would be a refreshing addition to the Crimson Lion based on his more tactical fighting style and stance on the corrupted upper class. Having Zora would be a humbling experience for everyone. I think that Fuegoleon would appreciate Zora’s blunt and critical personality because it’ll only lead to improvement and growth. Although his pride may get repeatedly stomped on by Zora, he still values his words and learns from them. And since the Crimson Lions are most likely full of nobles, Zora will be an important key to not only showcasing that peasants are just as strong as nobles, but also point out each member's weakness. He may cause mayhem in this squad, but I think they’ll improve a lot with his presence. Zora would also respect Fuegoleon’s unbiased personality despite being a royal so he has no problem being in his squad.

Blue Rose

Noelle: Blue Rose

I specifically did not pick the Silver Eagles because I don’t believe that Noelle will consistently grow and improve in an environment where she will most likely be ridiculed or undermined. She needs to be in a squad where she can be empowered and supported by others. It’s because of these crucial factors that I think the Blue Rose is the perfect squad for her. Based on what we know about the Blue Rose, we have never seen any members discriminate against others based on class or skills (unless you’re a man RIP). I also believe that Charlotte would be a great role model and teacher for Noelle to look up to. Charlotte may also serve as a potential mother figure that Noelle probably wanted her whole life.

Finral: Blue Rose

This is basically a dream come true for Finral. A squad full of beautiful and strong women? He can finally die happy! Joking aside, I think Finral’s personality and spatial magic would meet Charlotte’s standards. Although Finral is a flirt, he is definitely not disrespectful towards women. Though his flirting may get him in trouble due to the “no dating men” rule, he can always be subtle about it like the other blue rose members. Who knows, maybe his attempts may appear charming to the other members. Finral’s spatial magic is also very reliable and makes him the squad’s favorite errand boy.

Green Mantis

Magna: Green Mantis

Magna’s small amount of magic might prevent him from being accepted by any other squads, but I think Magna’s grit and delinquent attitude might work well under Jack. Magna is no pushover and his willingness to fight might entertain Jack. And if Magna is extremely loyal to Yami, he might be the same for Jack which will stroke his ego pretty nicely. Magna basically went from mean looking captain to another lmao. And if I’ll be honest, Magna might be the key to the squad improving drastically. The squad honestly needs that toughness based on the weak-willed members we know so far from the squad. Jack would definitely leave Magna in charge of toughening up the members. They need it.

Luck: Green Mantis

The sole reason why Luck would join the Green Mantis is because of Jack. Out of all the other captains, Jack seems the most eager to slice which will peak Luck’s interest. If Jack can apparently cut anything, Luck wants to test his abilities and fight Jack. Luck already has a bad reputation and so he might not be accepted into other noble squads. Thankfully, Jack doesn’t care for reputation so Luck will be at home in his squad. It also helps that Luck is in the same squad as Magna since they seem to motivate each other to grow stronger. They’d make a good pair in toughening up the squad and entertaining Jack.

Nacht: Green Mantis

Now Nacht was very difficult for me to choose. Nacht would probably prefer to be in a squad where he can do whatever he wants and spy on the Spade Kingdom. With this in mind, I would put Nacht in the Green Mantis. This squad is one of the least noteworthy in comparison to the other squads and aren’t as formal or rigid. This becomes an advantage for Nacht since this gives him the freedom to do whatever he needs to do. If he were to disappear, the squad doesn’t have to know due to Jack’s lax leadership. Jack wouldn’t think much about Nacht’s disappearance nor would he care so it’s a win-win situation.

Coral Peacock

Charmy: Coral Peacock

I think Charmy would fit in with the Coral Peacock because of her versatile and powerful cotton magic. I like to think that Kirsch, specifically, would view Charmy’s magic as very beautiful. Her cotton magic is just like her personality, very adaptable and cute, so Charmy might end up charming Kirsch if she were to be a part of the squad. She may even be a possible little-sister figure that he’d end up doting over. Of course, Mimosa will always be his number one. Dorothy can also have a nice soft cotton bed to sleep on lmao.

Vanessa: Coral Peacock

I think Vanessa would be in the Coral Peacock due to being a fellow witch. Vanessa’s versatile and elegant thread magic would also fit with the Coral Peacock’s beautiful aesthetic. There’s no question that Vanessa would meet Kirsch’s standards because of her beauty. However, if Vanessa drinks a lot and casually wears her underwear around the base, Kirsch will suddenly become an overbearing mother. He would see such behavior as unbecoming of a beautiful person and would continuously lecture Vanessa to change her habits.This becomes an everyday thing. Being in the same squad as Dorothy can also lead them to have a closer bond due to their similar upbringing.

Purple Orcas

Gordon: Purple Orcas

It’s a big oof. Gordon would only be accepted into the Purple Orcas because of his poison and curse magic. Gueldre initially wanted Gordon to join him on his corrupted scheme, but after realizing that Gordon’s personality betrays his appearance, he (thankfully) dropped the idea. Now that the original purpose for having Gordon is meaningless at this point, Gordon would be left to do whatever he wants. Sadly, he might be lonely because the other members are too scared to approach him or even ridicule him. Thankfully, he might have someone from the Black Bulls to give him company.

Grey: Purple Orcas

Similar to Gordon, Grey’s transformation magic would be viewed as useful for Gueldre’s schemes. And just like with Gordon, Gueldre would realize that he can’t manipulate Grey into participating in his scheme and would give up on the initial plan. Once Grey is transformed, she is very unpredictable and might not listen to directions as readily. If she’s left alone, she might just transform into her other members and have fun. This is where she’d befriend Gordon and hang out together. They’ll keep each other company. Once Kaiser replaced Gueldre, they would both try and better the reputation of the squad. I can see both of them being more fond of Kaiser than Gueldre. A possible father-figure maybe!

Golden Dawn

Gauche: Golden Dawn

Despite Gauche’s past crimes, William would specifically choose Gauche because he is a reincarnation of Drowa. Gauche’s mirror magic could also be powerful in battle, but he’s definitely a controversial pick due to his criminal history and uncouth personality. Gauche would be the black sheep of the squad and he could honestly care less. As long as he receives his paycheck and spends it on Marie, he just wants to be left alone. No friends, no trouble. Alecedora and Langris will not vibe with Gauche. He isn’t afraid to shoot beams at them or anybody else. William promises that Gauche has the skill to live up to the Golden Dawn’s standards. He’s really stretching it for the sake of having him in the squad. Might try and get Gauche to improve his cooperation skills. And thus Gauche joins Klaus, Yuno, and Mimosa for mission and team building. It’s a wild dynamic.

Nero: Golden Dawn

If Nero were to join a squad as a bird, I feel like she would naturally join Asta’s squad since she likes to sit on his head. However, if she were to go through the exam as herself, she would probably be in the Golden Dawn. I’m sure Patri would at least recognize Nero and would want her by his side to keep an eye on her. Nero’s true identity will be unknown to the other members, but William will do everything he could to be close to Nero. Probably to investigate Nero’s goals. She might also be partnered up with Klaus, Yuno, Mimosa, and Gauche. Not gonna lie though, I was tempted to put her in the Silver Eagles because she’d fit the bird aesthetic.

Aqua Deer

Henry: Aqua Deer

Henry is a quirky man. A quirky man that Rill might find inspiration from! Henry might become Rill’s biggest fan because not only would Rill probably let Henry absorb his mana, but he’d show him his various art work. In return, Rill might like Henry because of his cool recombination magic! Each day his house might look different? That sounds like a potential art project in the making! Henry also attracts animals and so Rill will have a blast painting various animals that come by his house! Especially the birds! Probably the most light-hearted friendship.
