i just read your skz posts for nearly an hour straight — you’re a very talented writer! i love your characterizations of them and the scenarios you come up with for requests are all unique, i love that!

if you’re up for it, would you consider writing a soft/fluffy skz with reader who craves some attention but for some reason won’t just verbally ask for it? (maybe had a long and hard day, or is a little too shy to ask for affection straight up, or is sleepy, etc.)? especially seungmin — i see a lot of rough or aggressive seungmin but lately i just so crave a sweet and fluffy seungmin.

a/n: aww thank you for your super sweet words! the ask is also super adorable! while writing i also realized that i was also in need for some seungmin fluff, so i made sure to write his part extra long! i hope you enjoy!

Chan: He just constantly misses you. Even when he just saw you, or made the choice to leave himself. So he is really aware of how you feel when you are around each other. And with that discovered that your habit of visiting him in the studio was not only to spend time with you but also you subtly showing him that you need some attention from him. So he just opens his arms for you and pulls you onto his lap. No words needed.

Minho: When he realizes your need for some attention he is initially unsure what to do. Do you just need a hug, or maybe some cuddles? Would a few kisses make it better or is the solution a home cooked four course meal? In the end he makes the smartest decision possible and just hugs you really tightly, softly asking what you want to do. Being all ears for what you need and then doing exactly that.

Changbin: A very cuddly person himself, so when he cuddles you it's always one of his own needs too. Especially after a long day he just wants to feel you close. Prefers the bed over the couch so if one of you falls asleep while cuddling you don't have to get up again. On the very few days he does not initiate a cuddling session himself, he does take the hints for your needs for attention very well. A pull at his hand, a look towards the bedroom and a moment later you are cuddled up against him.

Hyunjin: I stay true to my "Hyunjin can read your body language like a book" agenda. Because this is also very true in this scenario. You don't need to tell him that you are in need of his affection because he can tell just from your eyes. And he doesn't care how busy he is in theory because he always has time for you. Even better if he can share it with his other passion, art. He loves to have you on his lap as he paints, sometimes using his clean hand to caress your back.

Han: I imagine this situation to be really rare when dating Han as he is at least just as needy as you are. Most of the time he just takes the affection he needs, throwing himself on you when you are lying on the couch, cuddling you tightly. So when he can't do that it's probably because he has to rehearse a lot for a comeback or while he is on tour. But as soon as you just sit next to him and stare him down he gets the message and throws himself at you in his usual manner.

Felix: Feels your need for his attention under his skin. He is a giver when it comes to any kind of affection. So whenever he just gets the feeling that you could need some love he gives it to you en masse. He pulls you onto the couch and curls up next to you, nuzzling your neck and holding you so tight all your worries are gone. Holding your hands even after he lets you go and smiles at you until you fall asleep.

Seungmin: The thing with Seungmin is that he himself is quite shy about physical touch and unsure about how much you want from him. So he just sits next to you, extending his arm out, softly caressing your cheek with his fingertips, and when you lean into his touch he opens his arms for you, pulling you into a warm hug. Laying you on top of him, cuddling with you on the couch. After some time he starts softly talking to you about his day, and in return listens to you talk about your own, softly massaging your scalp. Letting you stay there after you fall asleep, even when he is tired himself, and his legs feel numb. Because your comfort means just so much more to him than his own.

Jeongin: Also tends to be on the shy side when it comes to physical affection. But he easily picks up on the little things, your eyes lingering on his hands, maybe you pulling over one of his sweatshirts to feel closer to him. So he just straight up asks if you want to spend some time cuddling on the couch. You don't need to say much, a quick nod is enough for him to pull you close and spend the whole night watching movies with you.

Channie holds your hand no matter where you are to make sure you're always by his side and he won't lose you in big crowds. This way he can squeeze your hand whenever he likes to, doing it twice to tell you he loves you.

Channie tries coming home earlier for you. He tries taking breaks and listens to his friends telling him to eat now because they would rat him out the second he didn't.

He enjoys being with you, watching you sleep when he can't. There's not much making him happier than you hiding in his arms, letting him fondle your hair as you sleep. In return, he always seeks for your comfort when he gives in and finally takes a nap. He curls up in your lap and lets you lull him to sleep as you play with his soft curls.

Channie doesn't like crying in front of others, it happens so rarely he doesn't like explaining himself. But with you, he has learned to let go and let you hold him when he breaks down. He found a safe place for him to open up about what's bothering him without getting judged for it.

He loves taking you back home to Australia, enjoying how much his parents adore you. He has everything he needs right then and seeing you get along with his siblings is a bonus. Also, Berry loved you from the start and even though he'd never admit it this was the moment he knew you were the one for him.

Whenever you had a rough day, too tired to talk and prepare yourself for bed Chan steps in. He washes your hair, massages your tired body and gets you dressed in comfy clothes. Once your hair is all dried he'll braid it for you and remove your makeup before cuddling up with you in bed, whispering sweet nonsense to you until you're asleep.

Obviously, hugs. Chan loves giving hugs and he especially loves it when it's you. He wraps you into his strong arms, resting his head against yours and softly sways you from one side to another. What melts his heart even more is when it's you hugging him, without a warning. He feels so loved and can't stop smiling when you suddenly hold him close, hug him from behind or bury your face in his chest.

Chan is a worrier. It comes with the responsibility of being a leader and making sure his friends are okay at all times. He had to tell himself to slow down with you in the beginning and stop himself from texting you every ten minutes, missing you so much already and hoping you're alright. So whenever you're reunited he'll give you the biggest hug and sweetest kiss.

You love making him smile so hard his dimples appear and his eyes squeeze shut. You'd do anything to hear those sweet giggles and his beautiful laugh that became your favorite sound. It's even better when you're the reason he's laughing so hard he knocks his head on the backrest of the sofa.

Dark flooded the sky as the car finally pulled up in front of their dorm and Hyunjin could not be more excited to crash into his own bed. Exhaustion clung to every fiber of his being, he noted the way every member slowly dragged themselves to their rooms, silence engulfing the usually rowdy bunch. Bit by bit, Hyunjin made his way to his own room, letting his packed suitcase sit in the corner, with the rest of his stuff not to far from it. Sluggishly he moved to the edge of his bed, letting his mind empty as he knew he just needed to sleep off the jetlag. Curling up under the blankets, he pulled the small, weighted dinosaur into his chest wondering if you knew that you left it in his bed. Fingers danced across the sheets to the place you body laid before he left on tour, wishes filling his mind that you were there again and not elsewhere.

Sleep hung onto him as the sound of his alarm caused him to stir enough to be awake. Checking his phone, a tired smile pulled at his lips as he realized they had a few weeks off before their next scheduled event. Happiness filled his chest knowing that you had worn it enough for it to still have that fragrance he loved.

Wondering the neighborhood, Hyunjin kept trying to find inspiration in the photos he was taking, even going as far to make Minho pose for them which was always met with a whine before the older one would do as he was told. They moved from location to location, never staying in one place for too long, but at every place they went, he saw the way that Minho would quickly pull out his phone, type away on it, then put it back in his pocket trying to act like he wasn’t doing anything. Curiosity started to pull at Hyunjin as he wondered if maybe there was someone that Minho was hiding from them.

As they finally arrived at Han River, he quickly pulled out his camera snapping photos of anything that caught his eye for longer than a few seconds. He kept hoping that inspiration would just smack him in the face but the creeping sensation of dread working its way through his body. He really wanted to have a gift ready for you the next time you were in his dorm, but at the rate today was going, he didn’t think that would happen. Again, instructing a distracted Minho to move to the area that he wanted, he started to snap photos in different angles before he saw someone further away, hair dancing in the wind standing in a beautiful area. As quickly as he moved Minho into the position, he shoved him out to take a snap of the stranger in the distance. Glancing down at the screen, he knew he needed to take a few more.

The camera moved back up to his eye as he watched the stranger spin towards him, hair perfectly blowing in the wind, and the sound of the shutter filled his ear seconds before his name echoed through the air. Looking again through the lens, he quickly realized that the stranger he was taking photos of was you. "ah—of course your mom is pretty," hyunjin closed his mouth, nodding to himself, keeping his eyes out to look at any woman looking for someone. of course that's the kind of answer he would be getting from a child of that age, it was honestly on him to even ask those type of questions, thus he decided to take a different approach, "what's the color of the dress she was wearing?"

"orange."

"orange is easy to spot." hyunjin muttered underneath his breath. squinted eyes underneath the harsh sun rays, shielded by a makeshift shade with his free palm, "what's your name?"

"jaewon," hyunjin took small steps while craning his neck all around the park, looking for the woman in orange, "jaewon's mom?!" his voice cracked.

some heads did turn towards him but no one really had a very visceral reaction at the war call—albeit it didn't sound that loud.. hyunjin should have warmed up before yelling, but jaewon yelling for his mom was working wonders to boost his morale and increasing the determination to find the kid's mother.

hyunjin's pupil dilated once he drank in the appearance of the woman before him—a foreboding etching of something forbidden concocting at the pit of his stomach as he stood there, as did the time. the sweltering summer breeze freezing over bestowing him with a few more moments to gaze upon the most beautiful woman he had seen.

jaewon's statement remained correct.
