📢US & UK RESTOCK!!
Rogue 2E is as if OSR & Storygames had a baby.
By Kazumi Chin
PC Features
- Pick Lists, Not Stats: Rather than stats, players select a custom list of 12 actions that they can perform at any time.
- Automatic Successes: Performing actions from your pick list allows you to succeeed automatically, unless the GM issues a challenge.
- Real-Time Refreshes: You can overcome ANY challenge by using your character's personal Ace (a phrase detailing your character's core powers), which refreshes every 15 minutes in real-time.
- Crises, Not Hit Points: Rather than using abstract HP totals, PCs manage a list of crises, such as injury, exhaustion, and incapacitation. So long as they have less than four, they are alive.
GM Features
- Hard & Soft Events: You can cause anything to happen at any time by using the GM Events table, and interpreting the results as you see fit.
- Intiative-less Combat: Combat is dynamic and relies upon the GM following the logical narrative flow, rather than an artificial turn-based system.
- Narrative-Based Monsters: Monsters are composed of a list of events, a list of overwhelming powers, and a list of weaknesses that can be exploited.
- Rulings, Not Rules: Everything from monsters to events to crises to situational bonuses and penalties is designed to provide maximum support for GMs interested in running the game with important OSR principles.

Hello everyone 😊 It's been years since I've been on here, but today I want to share with you my passion project: A 4th wall-breaking RPG called NUMINA => https://numinarpg.carrd.co/
You get in contact with Shawn who is able to hear your voice through the 4th wall! You meet in a very critical moment where Shawn loses someone very close to him while being swept up in a conspiracy that involves your mutual bond!
Part 1 is now out on @itchio & Steam. The final Part will release soon ✨

IT’S LIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE! I’m so proud to be able to share the finished version of FLOWERS OF STARLIGHT with you all! This is a yuri visual novel that I’ve been working on in collaboration with several close friends for the last few months, it’s about a gay as heck uni girl who’s not addicted to MMOs, but just might be addicted to the cute nerdy girl she plays them with.
If you’re a fan of my fics, or any of the work of the wonderful people who helped bring this project to life, I can pretty much guarantee you’re going to love this game almost as much as Maristela loves nerding out about space. With that said, I’d like to extend some HUGE thanks to the people who made this game possible:
@suntann - Programming / UI Design / SFX / Additional Background Art / Game Assembly
@arjyles - Character Art
@vhalesa - Character Art / Additional Background Art / Programming / Game Assembly / Additional SFX
@tanuki-pyon - Background Art / Insert Art
@shintorikhazumi - Music Composition
ty ily all so much and ily anyone who plays this game, thanks so much!

It's been a close call for our hero, only just winning the vote by 1%, but here are the results for who you would like to cast as the real life cast of Two Against the World!

game review 1: purrgatory
Tumblr media
nope, i didn’t spell it wrong! purrgatory is a pun-tastic game, with a great lesson. it is mostly a free-range story game, allowing you to better yourself while bettering others.
ranking:
story: 5/5, a clear but not too clear story, containing romance, comedy, depth, and emotion. this game was like a piece of art: it conveyed a vague theme while giving emotions.
characters: 4/5, the characters are great, with a funny dynamic. though the characters themselves were good, i wish there was more of them to see. the game is about getting to know people, and i feel like there was so much more to know.
visuals: 4/5, the whole layout is completely black and white, and the only color was on the characters: portraying the rainbow [how gay!]. though a bit plain, it still has the occasional detail and easter egg. again, i wish there was more, but i must admit, it looks like purgatory.
gameplay: 4/5, a little hard to use, with some confusing graphics. the controls are a little wonky, but overall the gameplay was smooth. combined with the music, this game is very good at hitting a heart string.
overall: 17/20, 85%. this game was really really great. i find myself thinking about this game and the impact it had on me over time. if it were the story and theme alone, it would be 100%. all i wish is for it to have more, but considering it was free i think it was a steal. do i recommend? yes, it’s a heart happy, calming game while still being active.

Weekly Update!
Tumblr media
Sorry for the late update! Kind of was a bit out of it, but anyways, here we go!
Unfortunately, we didn't quite meet our goal of 9K words, and I apologize for that. I even pulled an all-nighter, but it seems it just wasn't enough (that's what she said 😔 ). The most I managed was 8.2K words, which is pretty good, but not quite as great as I'd hoped. However, I promise you all that I'll double down and give it my all next week! :D
On top of that, my university is starting again, but no worries, folks! I have a schedule in place that will ensure I write twice as much as I do now!
So, here's the official word count update: 4K words were written in the short story, and 4K words in the main book, bringing the main book's total to 125,214 words and the short book to 14,023 words.
In other news, I've also commissioned character art for a cute 19-year-old character who you'll be training with in my upcoming femboy dating simulator book (available on Patreon). I'll be sharing all the character art once we hit 20K words or once the demo for the second book is created, haha!
That's about it for now. See you all next week, and I hope you have amazing days until then!

The Infinite Dancefloor
by Kayla Dice (@ratwavegamehouse)
"The Infinite Dancefloor is every nightclub and none of them. A sprawling, ever growing, ever shifting venue behind a thousand small doors. A party that never ends. A night where the sun never rises. Unfortunately that can make it a pain to actually leave the Infinite Dancefloor once you’re there."
The Infinite Dancefloor is a GMless rpg inspired by those rough nights that could have been good, if you just stopped sooner. Set to the album Time Flies by Ladyhawke, you'll use dice and a tarot/oracle deck to determine and overcome Obstacles in your escape from the title venue, such as finding a friend you've been seperated, facing down other partygoers and confronting the location itself. The Dancefloor will keep warping you back to the beginning, putting pressure on the cracks in your friendship.

👼EXCITING WRITING NEWS😈 I'm working with the team at StoryLoom to create an interactive novel where you get to make choices that affect the storyline, and the first chapter of my queer-positive paranormal book just went up! 👼😈 In DEATH, DEMONS & OTHER BARGAINS, you play as Alex, who just found an incredible rental in London for you and your sister Evie -- only to discover it also serves as an entryway to the afterlife. Which means you're now roomies with characters like an angel who makes Vulcans look emotional, an infuriatingly charming demon, and a giant skeleton reaper named Ted. But the longer you're there, the more it becomes obvious the afterlife is bleeding into the real world in more ways than one -- and you and Evie might be first to fall. 😈👼 If you're interested, there's a StoryLoom link in my bio. Its in open beta, so there might be a few quirks but you'll get to enjoy all kinds of incredible stories from other authors you'll recognize! And standby for new chapters coming soon! . #authorsofinstagram #storyloom #interactivestories #storygames #narrativegames https://www.instagram.com/p/ClzArRovyzy/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

I don't disagree that there's some level of congruence between filmgoers who defend narrow viewership by acting like it's a binary choice between watching the latest MCU film and watching black-and-white Eastern European art films about depression, and tabletop RPG players who defend narrow playership by acting like it's a binary choice between playing Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition and playing one-page diceless storygames about gay catgirls smoking cigarettes.
The difference, of course, is that folks who advocate expanding one's cinematic horizons are rarely advocating going straight from watching the latest MCU film to watching black-and-while Eastern European art films about depression, whereas folks who advocate expanding one's tabletop roleplaying horizons very often are, in fact, advocating going straight from playing Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition to playing one-page diceless storygames about gay catgirls smoking cigarettes.
