5 tips for outlining a story
1) Start by brainstorming your story ideas, and create an outline of the main points you want to include. This can help you organize your thoughts and keep track of the plot and characters.
2) Make sure to include a clear conflict or goal in your outline. Establishing the main challenge your characters must face will help you shape the rest of your story.
3) Consider the theme and message of your story. Making sure your story has a purpose or moral will help guide you and give it a greater sense of meaning.
4) Don’t forget to include details in your outline. While the broad strokes are important, it’s the small details that will make your story come alive.
5) Allow yourself the freedom to make changes to your outline and adapt it as you go. As you explore your story, you may find new ideas or plot points that you want to add.

How to create a plot outline in five easy steps
1. Think of a premise
Every story needs to start somewhere, but it doesn't have to be a complicated process. Coming up with a premise is as simple as asking"What if?"
What if four writers spent the night in a haunted house? What if humans evolved wings?
It's that simple! Now you have a story premise.
2. Get to know your characters
Your characters are the backbone of your plot, so knowing who they are, and what they want is a great first step in outlining your story.
Create character profiles. Consider their inner and outer lives. What are their goals, motivations, and conflicts? What are their relationships, and how do they come into conflict with each other and their world?
3. Develop a setting
Your story setting is more than just where the action happens. It's an integral part of your plot, and arguably, as important as your characters!
Determine where your story is told, and ask why it's the ideal place to tell this story. How do your characters relate to their world, and how does it factor into their goals, motivations, and conflicts?
4. Create a timeline
A timeline of events is just one part of creating a compelling plot, but it's the part most people think of when you say the word 'outline.'
Once you have your premise, characters and setting worked out, you need to determine what happens in your story, so a brainstormed timeline of your plot's main events gives you a beginning, a middle, and an end — a strong foundation on which to build a more layered narrative.
5. Brainstorm some scenes
Now that you know your plot's main events, think of some important scenes that might happen within that plot. What needs to happen to get you from point A to point B?
Brainstorming scenes that will move your story along lets you set your narrative's pace. Place those scenes in your timeline to get a clearer picture of where your story might need more developing, or is too packed with content.

What Hides In The Night Breakdown: Izuku Midoriya
Lore:
Kidnapped and sold into human trafficking at 5.
Was originally held in an underground “sanctuary” with at least a dozen other kids.
Was sold off to a German politician after being deemed Quirkless. (Normally she’d only take girls but Izuku’s face was too pretty.)
Worked as a maid with other trafficking girls since he could pass as a girl as long as he didn’t speak.
Was taught simple things like lock picking and hoarding supplies by the other girls who had been there longer.
Educated himself in secret by stealing books from the library when the owner wasn’t home.
Eventually got sold again at 16 after getting a cut on his face which deemed him “damaged” in the Politician’s eyes. Unfortunately, this time it was Sex Trafficking in Russia.
Gained many bruises and scars from beatings.
Would sometimes sneak onto client’s phones for real world updates. ( He spent most of his life chained to his bed in a brothel and was only allowed out for stage performances )
He knew Katsuki was a Hero through his small media updates and because of this, he never gave up on being found no matter how many years past. It was the only thing that kept him from going insane and losing himself (fully) to the dark.
Eventually the owner of the brothel was murdered by the mafia and they took it over, this made the beatings, starving and client lists very extreme.
Unfortunately, Izuku is very well known to the Dark Web in ways nobody should be.
Izuku was married off about 8 times but it was always to degenerates and never lasted too long. Normally just for business ventures or to make someone jealous by higher ups. He always ended back at the brothel in the end.
By 18 he had become almost immune to the abuse and the murders. He learned not to make connections, even with the other slaves. He learned to only keep necessities and a tiny amount of them. He learned to never speak and live with his head down. He learned that he didn’t matter because the loss of 1 in 8 billion was laughable.
Became extremely underweight.
Mental Health:
OCD (Needs all windows and doors locked to feel safe)
Extreme Anxiety
Extreme Depression
Memory Loss due to dissociation disorder
Occasionally has flashbacks, though.
Chronic and vivid nightmares
Low self esteem
Suicidal
Trust Issues
Authority Issues (Has has many police and high ups as clients)
Emotional Numbness
Body Dysmorphia
Eating Disorder (under)
Sex Addiction (the only thing that makes me feel real and wanted)
Substance Abuse from being almost constantly drugged
Habits:
Hoards things under bed (the only place he really had to hide things)
Checks all locks at least 3 times (mistakes were made in the past)
Avoids eye contact unless asked or mandatory (eye contact makes the experiences too exposed and can cause him to have a panic attack)
Doesn’t speak to police or heroes
Never leaves the house without Katsuki
Doesn’t stay outside after dark but likes the house to be dark.
Very submissive from habit and often blames himself for literally anything even if he didn’t even do it (someone pls protect our sunshine child he’s just a boy)
Apologizes A L O T
Abnormal attachment issues with Katsuki since he makes him the most comfortable but he’s also a hero which makes him weary.
Adores pictures and letters since he has a bad memory.
Spends most of his free time looking after his hoarded things.

Okay heeeere's part of the main outline (without major spoilers) for another long fic I wanna do! Will features many characters we know and love. Not fully fledged out but I'm not worried about it! (Also why are all of them historical or royal?! LOL)
Warning: Implied age gap of up to 10 years between main characters, but everyone is of age.
Reader is a princess, unhappy with her situation of doing what is expected of her. She wants to be involved in court decisions and feel more useful other than being married off one day. Her brother is the crowned prince who has all the qualities to be a good king one day but still acts quite childish at times. Reader is loved by the people because she is kind and since she isn't generally allowed in the throne room for decisions she makes herself available to the people of the kingdom and helps the nurses and the kitchen staff and goes into the village (usually attended by some sort of staff).
The princess has ladies in waiting who she considers her friends who love her and she loves them back, and some male childhood friends who are training to be knights. Another friend has been chosen by the king to assist in court instead of on the battlefield, and other girls about her age have been chosen to be the queens future ladies in waiting due to their families status and their mothers roles before them.
The knights are made up of different ranks, and here's where we meet Levi, a high ranking knight that has been trained to be with the royal family for years and his duty is mainly to the king. A family member of his died years ago protecting the king during an invasion and Levi made a vow to him and the royal family to continue protecting them in his place.
Reader likes days to herself and sends her ladies in waiting to go have free days so she can wander inside the safety of the kingdom by herself. She is never alone however, and soon finds knight Levi has been watching her, and learns he's been assigned to her. She doesn't know much about him but knows of him as he's seen often with her father. They bicker at first due to her being headstrong but get to talking.
There's a good possibility of another invasion on the kingdom one day, which she is very aware of. While the trainee knights are with the elder knights, Levi will be watching the princess. She tells him she wants more out of life and wants to be apart of court decisions and he admires her resolve and love for her people, and agrees to help keep her informed more often, and also train her to fight to be able to protect herself.
The more time they spend together the more she starts to fall for him but he won't budge. There's other side romances happening all around them with people of different stations (ladies in waiting and kitchen boys, etc) and she promises to try to get a code passed to be able to let people love who they want.
In the time that passes Levi falls for the princess as well but won't show it. It becomes clear one day when they have a conversation of him becoming a higher ranking knight, and him stating he would turn it down if it meant not being with her.
--------
Annnnd that's all we get, there's lots of training, and reader teaches her ladies to fight as well, there's lots of flirting going on between different couples, and an enemy raid on the horizon!

MHA Fanfic AU- Stain Successor
An AU story idea that mixes in critiques of the canon story, inspired by ideas from fanfiction and critical posts on Tumblr
A few years after canon and the final war arc, Midoriya is the number one hero, or close to it at least. Hero society and the faith in it by the public is still somewhat fragile. Then, a Stain copycat appears, but this time they might actually be more dangerous.
The Stain copycat actually sees Stain the way some of the fandom sees him; a fanatic who, while he has a point about heroes, also holds people to ridiculous standards and seems to pick his targets somewhat randomly. The “successor”, on the other hand, doesn’t want to purge the heroes like Stain, they want the hero system gone almost completely, with the bare essentials kept in at the most, like rescue heroes or a few highly-trained combat heroes. And they’re arguably more competent at achieving that goal than Stain was.
The successor is more well-connected than Stain was, using those connections to gather information on possible corruption of any figure involved in the industry, not just heroes. They do kill their targets, but they also leave others alive as examples. They utilize guerilla warfare tactics similar to Stain, but they don’t limit themselves, and take advantage of every possible tactic, like guns. Unlike Stain, who seemed to use his quirk to paralyze his targets and then monologue at them, the successor’s victims might not see them before their death.
Longer version of this story would be like a detective chasing a serial killer, with Midoriya chasing the successor and trying the figure out their next moves, while trying to preserve the collapsing hero society. Less of a focus on shonen battles, more of a focus on a clash of ideals and intelligence.
Short version would be an interrogation/conversation between Midoriya and the successor, with the successor pointing out the inherent flaws of the hero system and pushing back against Midoriya’s ideals and faith in the system. A possible line could be “Heroes can exist without hero society, but hero society can’t exist without villains.”
One of the key aspects of the story would be Midoriya having doubts about his faith and role in hero society, something he’s passionately believed in since he was a toddler and devoted so much of his life towards. As the public’s faith in heroes declines due to the successor’s actions, Midoriya could reflect on what’s happened to him, and consider how hero society has shaped him negatively throughout his life.

I originally had planned for this prompt to be about Percy and Nico remembering they were lovers in a previous life and trying to work through that, but the characters (especially Nico) resisted that plot. Oh well, maybe some other time.
Some other time has come. You can’t just tell us about this magnificent idea and not elaborate!
(It’s the notes from Mixing up the Routine)
Oh, now that takes me back.
Okay, so quick background on my WIPs: I have a lot of them. Some of them transform over and over until they become unrecognizable when I finally publish them. Some barely change and get published with just a few minor changes from their early stages, and some never see the light of day due to plot or characterization problems (or because I know fans would hunt me for sport with some of my more controversial ideas).
My fic about Percico as reincarnated lovers belongs to the latter category. Whenever I try to develop it, I hit a roadblock in either the plot department or the characters remaining in character means the story grinds to a halt. I've tried to rework it multiple times, but I've never been able to get it right. However, if you want, I can give out the latest outline for the story under the Read More, especially since I'm sure I'll never actually write it out.
The conflict starts with Percy and Nico having dreams about their past lives, where they see a person they are in love with (who they are changes a lot each attempt, sometimes they're both men, sometimes a man and a woman, once they were even two women). At first, they think this dreams are random and unimportant, but they are persistent, and once they realize it's their past lives, they become obsessed with finding the other.
Nico theorizes that he's getting these memories now because he's nearing the age when his past life met their lover, and thinks that him having those dreams means they can find each other again. He goes on an underworld adventure, trying to find some way to track his past lover.
Percy, meanwhile, is having an identity crisis. He's falling in love with a memory, while being days away from his wedding with whom he thought until just recently was his one true love, but how he feels for his past live lover... it makes this whole thing feel shallow and petty. He's also sad because Nico has been acting weird, and he knows he won't make it to his wedding, and that just hurts.
Nico appears before Percy the very day he calls off the wedding, and they are both confused. Percy was sure Nico would be away for longer, and Nico believed he was shadow traveling to his past life lover. Nico finally explains his absence and Percy realizes who they are to each other but... he doesn't feel for Nico the same as he did for past life lover, so what gives? Why is that?
Cue an investigation about what's happening, ending up with Percy and Nico realizing this isn't their second life. It's their third. Both times, they have found each other, and their love has made them as miserable as they have been happy. They always end up in tragedy and Percy had decided enough was enough.
It's revealed that before their last life began, Percy lied and said they'll go together like last time, but when Nico jumped into the Lethe to be reborn, and Percy didn't follow. Nico was born decades before Percy because of that. Then, he asked Aphrodite (in some drafts his mother, in other drafts through his father Hermes) to make sure he didn't fall in love with Nico in this life. To block out the feelings.
Once they learn this, Percy is convinced he did the right thing, because what happened to Nico while he was in love with him? Just pain and tragedy. Maybe it's for the best that they remain separated this life, give Nico a full life for once.
And here's where I hit a roadblock, because continuing from this to a happy ending requires Nico to fight to convince Percy they can be together, that this time will be different, but the thing is... why? Why would Nico want to fight for them when he feels like he's the only one with feelings in this life? What argument could be strong enough to compel Percy to undo the block? Only he can unlock his heart. Nico could ask Aphrodite, but that would be no different from forcing Percy to love him. The characters resist this plot having a happy ending, and I want this plot to have one.
So yeah, this is where I'm stuck, and any iteration of the reincarnation has been met with similar issues. I still like this plot a lot, but I really can't make it work, no matter how much I try.

I can’t continue this
I’ve been struggling lately everything seems to beat me down and I keep thinking I’m out of it but then something else happens. It’s too much for me when other things weigh on my mind so I’m going to have to back out of the six sides. I’ve got the outline I wrote down for myself that I’ll share but that’s it.
Six sides plan
Mochi wakes up finds she’s living with Pulse and Mako
Pulse says that her father is visiting
Eternis arrives and embraces Mochi telling her how wonderful it is to see her. She looks confused.
Eternis reassures her and Mochi sinks into the embrace.
Cautious for the rest of the night, she excused herself to the restroom and tries to remember what she was doing before and why this isn’t making sense.
She concentrates really hard and remembers the many years Eternis left her frozen. That’s part of the truth. Only in a fantasy would her father love her.
She starts reciting the truths she’s learned.
Eternis lies. Eternis always wants something.
He does, he wants Mochi to take up the mantle of god of magic to create new magic
Mochi refuses and Eternis doesn’t get mad. He instead hugs Mochi and says that the title is there when she wants it. Mochi shivers. She was expecting anger, but instead he’s being patient with her. It’s tempting to stay but she looks at Mako and Pulse the dumb happy smiles they wear as if nothing bad has happened to them.
“You’re not him. You’re not my dad. This isn’t real” she reaches into his chest, expecting to pull out his heart instead there’s the dice.
Mochi holds it in her hoof before attaching it to her choker. Pulse has his arm gun aimed at her asking her to calm down. “Put his ‘heart’ back and we can all go back home”
Mochi refuses and holds out the ‘heart’.
“I’m not going back there. This isn’t real. I wanted it to be, but it’s not. You don’t all get along. Eternis doesn’t act like a dad. I’m not going back with you Pulse. You’re going to have to fight me.”
“Mochi, please, listen to Pulse! You’re not thinking straight you’ve been hearing voices. We can get you help, just calm down!”
“No! I’m not going to calm down, I’m going to destroy this dice and get back to MY Mako and MY Pulse!”
“We are yours Mochi, what dice are you talking about? Just put his heart back!” Pulse approaches
Mochi approaches too
“I’m sorry but this would never happen. He would never give me the throne. That’s the truth isn’t it? That my purpose isn’t dictated by him. Eternis doesn’t matter. He abandoned me, he’s tortured so many mortals. I’m enough, you’re enough. The real you and Mako..and Finn. You couldn’t bring Finny into this fantasy, you messed up! I’ll be doing the world a favor by destroying this!” Mochi squeezes the dice in her magic, and boom Pulse fires a shot at her, everything goes white.
She wakes up in her bed with Sylph, Skyee, Mako, Pulse and Finn around her
“Mochi are you okay? You were out for a while. Where’d that dice come from?” Finn asks.
Mochi looks at her choker, the dice now dangling on a loop of.
“It wasn’t a dream then..the game. It was real and I won..for real this time. Th-this is real right?”
“Of course we’re real Chi-chi,” Mako pipes up and embraces Mochi.
“You didn’t call me love, oh thank the sisters.” Mochi hugs Mako back.
“Pfft would it be that bad if I did?”
Eternis’s heart is the dice

She-Ra What If? - What If Glimmer sacrificed herself instead of her mother?
Never really done this before here, but I figured I might as well share one of my new She-Ra AU outlines here. Not sure if I’ll make it into a fic at some point, but hey, I had fun doing this.
Okay so this AU is more or less exactly the same as the canon She-Ra timeline right up until the Portal incident. In this universe, Glimmer, after regaining her memory of the real timeline, isn’t erased with Bow, instead staying with Adora, but her mother and father are erased by the destroying reality.
After learning that Adora’s sword is holding the portal world together, Adora attempts to sacrifice herself after stopping corrupted Catra with Glimmer’s help, but Glimmer, realising that Etheria wouldn’t have any hope without She-Ra, uses her last teleport to jump up to the sword and pull it free of the anomaly, closing the portal.
Everything happens as it did in the regular timeline, with reality being restored… only without Glimmer, as she is forever lost between dimensions.
There is a memorial service held in Brightmoon for its lost Princess, Angella grieving the loss of her only child. Bow in particular becomes very distant, since Glimmer was his oldest and best friend. Adora is a lot more angrier in this universe, especially at Catra for all she has done. In the main universe, Adora was close to Angella yes, but Glimmer was closer to her and as such, that pain hurts deeper.
Not long after the memorial, Angella reveals to Adora that before Micah and her were consumed by the destroying timeline, he revealed to her that he was still alive, but she doesn’t know where. Nevertheless, Adora decides to aid Angella in bringing Micah home, mainly as her way of making up for letting Glimmer be lost.
Angella isn’t like Glimmer was in the main timeline after the portal, though she does become a bit more desperate at times to finally win the war against the Horde. Season 4 kinda sort of happens as it did in the main universe for a while, Mara’s ship getting recovered and Double Trouble infiltrating the rebellion disguised as Flutterina.
Meanwhile, Catra has started to feel pretty crappy, possibly even more than she did during canon. Part of her is sort of happy Glimmer is gone, as Catra partly blamed Glimmer on stealing Adora away from her… but another part of her misses her, since she took a sense of joy out of fighting her and calling her sparkles and whatnot.
At the same time, Shadow Weaver tries to make herself into Angella’s good graces, revealing to her that King Micah was sent to Beast Island. Angella is furious that Weaver didn’t reveal this sooner, but Shadow Weaver said she didn’t feel the need since she assumed Micah had died on Beast island years ago.
And so, Adora, Angella and Bow use Mara’s ship to mount a rescue mission to Beast island, which more or less goes as it did with canon, only much earlier in the timeline. They rescue Entrapta as well and learn from the computer’s on Beast Island about the Heart of Etheria.
At the same time, Double Trouble reports to Catra that Angella and Adora are no longer in Brightmoon, so she and Hordak change their plans and launch an all out assault on Brightmoon, laying siege to the kingdom and destroying it. The Princesses make their escape, but Catra fights Shadow Weaver and kills her, however, Scorpia, this point sick of the endless conflict, deserts the Horde.
Adora and friends return from Beast Island, gathering their allies in the whispering woods similar to the camp, Scorpia finds them and reunites with Entrapta. Adora, knowing danger of the Heart of Etheria, asks Micah if he knows a way of potentially stopping it, to which he reveals about the Failsafe. They travel to Mystacor together, where Adora bonds with the failsafe.
Meanwhile, Catra and the Horde find the Crystal castle, Catra meeting Light Hope. Light Hope, realising that Adora has found the failsafe, manipulates Catra into gaining control of the Heart of Etheria, taking advantage of her own self-destructive tendencies. Hordak goes along with this, thinking he can present the weapon as a gift to Horde Prime when he eventually arrives.
Catra and her forces stumble onto the rebel camp after Double Trouble reveals themselves and the Princesses and Angella are captured. Catra brings her hostages back to the Fright Zone, as well as the first one’s ship, and forces Scorpia to connect to the black garnet. The weapon begins charging, but Adora, Micah eventually make their way to the Heart and Adora is able to use the failsafe to stop the heart of Etheria, but at the cost of her sword getting destroyed.
The planet is still teleported into regular space again, and Horde Prime, spying the planet, uses his transporter beam to abduct Hordak, Catra and the hostages onto his ship, everyone save for Double Trouble, who betrayed Catra to Hordak as a means to cover their own escape.
Without the Heart of Etheria, Horde Prime sees very little value in Etheria, but Catra manages to convince him to use the Princesses they’ve captured as weapons, powerful soldiers for his army, to which Prime agrees, but he still plans to destroy the planet.
Over the next few months, Prime’s fleet bombards Etheria, stripping the planet of its resources, but devastating its kingdoms. What remains of the rebellion and Etherian Horde have fallen under Micah and Adora’s leadership, but Adora knows that it's a losing battle and Etheria is doomed.
To that end, she’s had Huntara’s gangs capture a few Horde ships to use as escape ships for the remaining Etherian refugees and soon, thanks to Castaspella and the other sorcerers sacrificing themselves to divert Prime’s fleet, Adora and the remaining Etherians blast off into space as the planet is destroyed.
Adora and her friends soon land on a barren planet, picking up the Star Siblings, who agree to help guide them to the territory of some of the other rebel groups trying to fight Horde Prime across the galaxy.
However, while flying through an asteroid field, Adora, in her first one’s ship, is brought down by enemy fire and makes a crash landing on a nearby planet. Her attackers, none other than the chipped Catra, Angella, Bow, Scorpia, Mermista, Perfuma, Netossa and Spinnerella. Adora manages to fight off the chipped princesses’ but unfortunately she is beaten and captured by Horde Prime.
Taken aboard Prime’s flagship, the tyrant gloats to Adora that he is planning to create his own Heart of Etheria style doomsday weapon, using the First One’s homeworld. With Entrapta under his control, he has enough knowledge of the first one’s technology to recreate the weapon, especially since his forces salvaged the Etherian runestones before the planet was destroyed.
However, out of all his hostages, Prime has the least use for Catra and so pits her against Adora in a fight to the death for his own amusement. Adora is still angry at Catra for the loss of Glimmer, but even she knows that if she is to kill Catra, this isn’t the way and does her best to try and break Catra free… only for Prime to seemingly kill Catra.
Enraged at Catra’s death, Adora transforms into her new She-Ra form and takes Catra’s limp body, using her new powers to commandeer one of Horde Prime’s fighters and make an escape. Using her magic, she is able to revive Catra and the two of them agree to form a truce long enough to stop Horde Prime from destroying the universe.
As the two of them drift through space together, they argue and bicker, coming to full on fights numerous times while trying to survive against Prime’s forces. Eventually, their travels bring them to a barren planet named Krytis. There, Adora and Catra have their worst fight with Catra eventually storming off on her own, wanting to get as far away from Adora as possible… until the two of them have a run in with an alien named Melog, who bonds with Catra and forces the two to confront how they feel about everything.
Adora and Catra eventually realise their anger at one another is pointless now. Etheria is gone, their friends are chipped, the woman who abused them is dead, all they have left is each other… and even Adora admits she isn’t sure Glimmer would want her to be this angry, even at Catra. The two finally make amends and make peace with each other, and with Melog’s help, repair their ship and remove the control chip on Catra’s neck.
Micah soon finds Adora and Catra sometime later, he and Huntara, as well as the star siblings having allied a large contingent of rebel cells together in a large alliance for an attack on Horde Prime, who has now transformed the barren husk of the First One’s homeworld into a new Heart of Etheria, information provided to the rebels thanks to a mole in Prime’s forces.
The plan is simple, Adora still has the Failsafe as part of her, so it should be able to disable Prime’s weapon if its designed the same way. It’s practically a suicide mission, but Adora knows its the only way to stop Prime’s weapon for good, especially since she knows now that Magic is Prime’s weakness.
Catra joins the rebel fleet as a pilot, as they attack Horde Prime’s flagship in orbit so Adora and Micah can sneak down to the planet below. However, as Adora arrives she’s chased by the chipped squad again, now led by Netossa. Angella and Micah fight one another and Micah is able to damage Angella’s chip.
Meanwhile, the mole in Prime’s forces is revealed to be none other than Hordak, who's been slowly regaining his independence from Horde Prime, especially after seeing how he has treated the chipped entrapta Entrapta. During the heat of the battle, Hordak betrays Horde Prime and seemingly kills him, deactivating the shields enough for Catra’s fighters to move in and destroy the fleet, breaking the control signal for the chips and freeing the princesses.
However, at the last moment, Prime jumps into Hordak’s body and attempts to use his superweapon, but it has already been dealt with. Catra arrives as Adora destroys prime’s consciousness from his body, freeing Hordak. Then, at the end of it all, Catra professes her love for Adora and the two kiss, the universe being saved.
With her magic, Adora restores the First One’s homeworld from a barren wasteland to a beautiful, magical filled paradise, which the Etherians soon dub, New Etheria. Angella and Micah lead the survivors in building a new civilisation on the planet, aided by refugees from other parts of the galaxy.
As for Adora and Catra, they settled down, the long war their lives had been finally over. Years later, the two of them are blessed with their first child, a daughter… who they named Glimmer.

Why do the stars never align
Anakin/Female Obi-Wan, Soulmark AU
Summary: Where Anakin and Padme are soulmates, tied by the red-string of fate and matching marks. But it is Obi-Wan who has Darth Vader’s name on her wrist.
Main Events/Notes
Obi-Wan's soulmark essentially haunted her for most of her early stay in the Jedi Temple. The whole reason she nearly got sent to Agricorps is because the Jedi Council thought this meant she would fall. This was put to a stop by Qui-Gon who intervened by saying he would take on Obi-Wan as an apprentice and keep her from going dark side.
"You assume this mark means she'll fall, but what if it's the opposite? What if this means she's meant to bring one of theirs back to the light?"
Obi-Wan is pretty much treated like a ticking time bomb. The rumors follow her less after her Qui-Gon takes her as a padawan. But the rumors resurge after he dies and Obi-Wan 'defeats' Darth Maul. A young Anakin faces the brunt of it.
"If you don't feel comfortable having me as your master, I can always petition for someone else to take over your training." "I don't care who your fated is. I'll always stay by your side. Your my master and I'm your padawan."
When Count Dooku is discovered to be the Sith apprentice, the council nearly sends Obi-Wan away.
"Was this all a ploy by your old padawan, Master Yoda? To use his own padawan, your grand-padawan, might I add, to claim the young Obi-Wan?"
"I know you want to argue against the council. But we must trust in the Force, Anakin." "Trust the Force? It's because of the Force that they're locking you away in the first place! You didn't do anything wrong, Master! You never asked to be bonded to the damn Sith!"
Anakin goes after Count Dooku, all the more enraged now that Obi-Wan was being held as a prisoner. At the Count's death and finding of evidence that Dooku had no ulterior motive with Obi-Wan, the council lets Obi-Wan go.
Cue other events. Anakin gets more disillusioned with the council and how they treat both him and Obi-Wan. But he attempts to stay strong for Obi-Wan's sake.
As Anakin grows up, he becomes concerned with his dreams. He sees Padme dying and he hears Obi-Wan screaming in pain at the hands of her fated. Cue self-fulfilling prophecy vibes where every bad dream Anakin tries to prevent essentially comes to fruition. So desperate to save his wife and his master from her Sith fated, Anakin falls to the Dark Side.
Obi-Wan battles Anakin. In the middle of their battle, Padme dies giving birth to the twins and Obi-Wan gets severely injured. Obi-Wan runs away from everything, realizing that the same Sith she had been avoiding her whole life was the man her padawan ended up being.
Possibly maybe cue a Obi-Wan on-the-run continuation as she tries to escape Darth Vader.
Notes: Just an idea so far with nothing yet on the sequel. This was just an outline of what I saw happening for the prequel timeline.

Hello! So I’ve had this story in my head for my characters, and was finally able to get it down into a story outline. The story is ever changing as I continuously change and mold it as I play round in their world, but these are the parts that are the most solid, and I wanted to get it out so maybe you could understand my characters I draw a little bit better, or see what’s going on in my head. And big shout out to my mom who helped me write and edit my outline!
The Adventures of Ali and Bay
Part 1
Bay decides to become a famous inventor. “Why wait? I can start doing that right now.” Acting on impulse he fixes up an old airship, leaves a letter for his parents and starts on his road trip. He’s going to start his business and get his name and inventions out there.
Bay sees an uncharted floating island and stops to re-stock his supplies. He hides the airship, not wanting anyone to know that an underaged pilot is flying it. He finds out that the island is called The Maul and that ten years ago, a mysterious wind cut the chains tying the island down sending it drifting away from civilization. With no way to call for help or to escape, the residents are all still trapped on the island.
Ali grew up on The Maul but she longs to leave the island. She is still dealing with her feelings about her father disappearing from the island years ago. She tries to get along with people but it turns out wrong. People hate her anyway. She ends up being the town bully and now does everything she can to be hated. If they’re going to hate her anyway, she may as well make it happen.
When she sees Bay, she is instantly suspicious. Nobody has ever come on or off the island. What is he doing here? How did he get here? She attacks him. In their scuffle, Bay accidentally grabs Ali’s locket, her prized possession. She becomes enraged and demands that he take her off the island with him. Bay is over-powered but sees an opportunity and negotiates with her. It would be helpful to have a bodyguard and someone strong to carry his things. He offers Ali free food and a travel partner in exchange for these things. Ali thinks this can work and agrees to the arrangement. It will give her a chance to search for her missing father.
But before long, they have their first misadventure. A worm monster tries to kill them. Bay watches as it swallows Ali alive and runs the other way. But Ali’s magical strength is activated. She cuts her way through the monster and survives.
Bay and Ali have many more adventures involving monsters, magic and furries. Bay tries to sell his inventions but not many people are interested. Ali is still a bully and often gets into trouble with people with her aggressive approach. But even though their relationship started as a business arrangement, Bay now sees her more as a friend. Ali is stand-offish at first, not wanting to admit she is growing fond of “the kid". But as they travel, Bay increasingly becomes the target of others’ retaliation for Ali’s aggression.
When Ali sees Bay being attacked, she goes into a fury and her superpowers are activated. She grows wings and beats up the people attacking Bay. She has to admit to herself that Bay is her friend, not just “the kid”. And she’s not travelling with him just because she made an agreement. She’s travelling with him because she wants to.
Part 2
Bay and Ali are still travelling and having adventures. Bay is still trying to sell his inventions. But they’re fighting monsters for money because they need the cash (and Bay didn’t properly budget for the trip).
Ali wonders what is happening to her. And only when she fights people off her and Bay. Is this magic? The wings? The super strength?
Bay on the other hand is worried about his family. He has been away from home for a long time. His family are probably very worried because after the first note he left, he hasn’t written again to tell them that he is safe. He is worried about getting in trouble and having someone come after him and end his trip prematurely. But it is time to go home.
His parents are very emotional when they see Bay. They worried not knowing where he was and whether he was safe. It takes awhile but Bay assures them that he has been safe and that it was Ali who kept him safe. He asks if she can stay with them as she has nowhere else to go. His parents are thankful to Ali for keeping their son safe and welcome her into their home.
Part 3
Getting used to living at home with his parents and going back to school is harder than Bay imagined. His parents won’t let him out of their sight. School is not easy either. He still has his school friends, Jamie and Quinn but finds out that Jamie has a crush on him. He tries to avoid the subject and hopes that Jamie’s feelings will go away. But they don’t and Jamie asks Bay out on a date. After much fretting, Bay eventually agrees. They end up dating and becoming boyfriends. After awhile Bay develops a crush on Jamie as well.
Ali, on the other hand, is happy to have a place to stay, even if Bay thinks the room she has is way too small. Ali spends time with Alder and Annie, Bay’s dad and mom, but especially with Alder in the garden. It’s time she wishes she had with her own father. Over time, her attitude softens, she is able to explore her feelings about her dad and she slowly becomes accepted into the family.
In time, Jamie and Bay break up after a big fight. Ali, although happy with her new family, feels ready to take in the world with more compassion and wants to travel and explore. Bay’s family tell Ali that she is part of their family and can always come back. As a parting gift, Bay gives Ali a new locket that he made, to replace the one he broke. He gives her a hug as she leaves on her next adventure.

Mortal Kombat: 2021 film AU story - 5/18/22 draft
Every generation, an ancient tournament called Mortal Kombat is held to decide the fate of realms. The emperor of Outworld has won nine victories against Earthrealm, and if they win one more, they will be able to conquer Earthrealm.
The former monk Liu Kang receives an invitation to Mortal Kombat. Kang initially refuses, but recalls the death of his family at the hands of the sorcerer Shang Tsung (who is also the tournament’s host), and is further motivated to participate. The thunder god Raiden warns Kang that he can’t compete if his sole purpose is vengeance. Raiden then enlists Kang’s cousin Kung Lao to look after him.
Upon boarding a boat from Hong Kong to Tsung’s island, Kang and Lao are joined by Special Forces agent Sonya Blade and her major Jackson “Jax” Briggs as well as washed up MMA fighter Cole Young, and the Lin Kuei assassin Bi Han (codenamed Sub-Zero). Despite being chosen to partake in Mortal Kombat, they have different motivations for entering the tournament. Sonya and Jax are on the trail of the Black Dragon gang leader Kano, Cole is seeking to provide for his wife and daughter as well as to return to his glory days, and Bi Han is assigned to assassinate Tsung.
After a confrontation with Tsung, the undead specter Scorpion, and the half-mutant Mileena, Raiden takes his fighters to safety, and explains to them what they are up against, and that one of them must decide the outcome of the tournament. As soon as they arrive on the island, the fighters are greeted to a banquet and a brutal demonstration where Kano rips the heart out of a masked guard. Shortly after, the heroes are then trained by Raiden to unlock their full abilities and rise up to the challenge.
The following day, the tournament begins with Sonya, Kang, Cole, Lao, Jax and Sub-Zero scoring victories against Kano, his right-hand man Kabal, the reptilian Syzoth, the vampire Nitara, the Outworld general Reiko, and the demon Drahmin, respectively. Deciding that the Earthrealm fighters have won enough, Tsung summons Scorpion, Mileena and the Shokan champion Goro to dispatch them.
Things begin to look dour for Earthrealm as Goro puts Jax in a coma by ripping his arms off, Scorpion murders Sub-Zero, and Mileena wounds Lao. After some encouragement and words of advice from Raiden, things begin to look up for Kang, Sonya and Cole as they finally unlock their full abilities. Cole faces Scorpion, but spares him after learning of his connection to the specter. Sonya kills Mileena in a vicious battle, and Kang finally embraces his destiny by killing Goro, and becoming the new champion.
Knowing that the tournament is not over yet, Kang decides he must face Tsung, and after encouragement from Raiden, Sonya, Lao and Cole, he ventures into the sorcerer’s palace for the final kombat. Recalling everything he has learned, Kang defeats Tsung and wins Mortal Kombat, preserving Earthrealm’s safety for another generation.
Tsung retreats back to Outworld to inform the emperor of his failure, and the heroes return to their home to celebrate their victory. However, unbeknownst to them, the emperor is planning his revenge.
Mid-credits scene: The Lin Kuei inform Kuai Liang about Bi Han’s death, and so, he decides to take matters into his own hands by adopting his brother’s mantle of Sub-Zero.
Post-credits scene: Johnny Cage hears rumors about the tournament, and decides that this could be the blueprint for a blockbuster smash.
I wrote this story last year, so things might be subject to change with a newer draft, but who knows?

Steps to writing a fantasy scene
Writing a fantasy scene can be a fun and creative process. To get started, here are some steps you can take:
Brainstorm ideas: Think about the overall plot of your story, the characters involved, and the setting. You can also consider any special elements you would like to include in the scene, such as magic or mythical creatures.
Create a basic outline: After you have some ideas, create a basic outline for the scene. This should include the characters, the setting, and a few key plot points.
Describe the setting: Begin your scene by describing the setting. Be as descriptive as possible, and use vivid imagery to bring the scene to life.
Introduce the characters: Bring the characters into the scene and explain their motivations, backgrounds, and relationships to each other.
Add the plot: Begin to move the plot forward by having the characters interact and make decisions that will lead them to their goal.
Introduce any special elements: If you included any special elements in your brainstorming, now is a great time to introduce them.
Conclude the scene: Bring the scene to a close by having the characters reach the goal or have a moment of resolution or realization.
Writing a fantasy scene can be a great way to express your creativity and bring your story to life. With these steps, you should be able to write a captivating scene in no time!
