So… I promised to make this post ages ago and never did. Well I’m doing it now. Gruvia kids!

If you’re curious about any of them, feel free to check out The Protectors in ao3!

Eldest of course is Storm. The second iconic Next Gen character. But unlike Nashi, he doesn’t really have a fixed personality. My Storm is a relaxed boy who lives for the chaos. He’ll do things just to start a fight and see who wins, though it’s unlikely he’ll get his own hands dirty. His magic is snow magic, which is sort of a half way between his parents’ magic.

The middle child is Greige. And yes I have a Storm and a Greige, I’m pretty sure they’re the same person in canon but not here. Greige is similar to his older brother is many ways but where Storm is cool and relaxed, Greige is chaotic. He uses water magic.

This moodboard is probably very confusing. Crystal, the youngest Fullbuster and youngest kid in all my next generation at age 7. She has her mother’s energy and is pure sunshine to anyone she meets. However, she inherited her father’s Ice Devil/Demon Slayer magic. When her marks appear (Like the tattoo things Gray has) she becomes cold and harsh, though it disappears quickly.

And that’s my largest family! The other couples only had 1 or 2 children so this’ll probably be my longest post. Let me know if you want me to do Gale or Jerza next!

Gruvia Week 2024

Day 6: Apathy.

type: Hurt/comfort, soft, happy ending.

characters: Gray Fullbuster/Juvia Lockser, Cana Alberona.

The Guild’s entrance doors were open with so much force that it almost came off from it’s hinges, the rowdy ambience was quiet down immediately once they saw the ice mage’s scowly face, not that he wasn’t grumpy all the time but he looked furious.

He looked at Cana who was drinking from her big barrel of wine, but stopped once she took the appearance of Gray who was marching to her.

“Hey, Gray” she said wearily, Cana never gets on Gray’s bad side but once she does, she prefers to avoid him as much as possible because he can be a bit hot headed.

“Is something wrong?” 

“What did you and Juvia drink in your mission?” he said sharply, crossing his arms as he looked down at her.

“Um..” she began to think and tried to connect the events of their journey yestereday.

Cana dragged her blue haired friend on a mission to find a burglar in a village, they accomplished it with no sweat and the villagers were more than happy to offer them a meal and some wine which Cana really had her fill.

 There was also a village woman who lived alone and offered to stay in her inn since no one really goes by their village, her hospitality was kind.

“I think wine?” she said hesitantly, her mind grew black after enjoying her party with the villagers.

“Be sure Cana! What did they give you in that village?!” Gray snapped, his tone was harsh and probably scared.

“I don’t remember! What’s wrong with you?” she replied, bothered by his sudden outburst; he breathed in, and pulled his black hair up with his hand.

“Gray, why don’t you tell us what’s happening first? Then we could try and solve the problem” Mirajane suggested gently, Cana nodded next to her, Gray can’t blame her for something she doesn’t know or wasn’t aware of.

Gray breathed in, and took a moment to answer.

“Juvia is not herself today” Cana’s heart dropped, did she miss something yesterday? But she was completely fine, they were talking and laughing with each other on their way to Magnolia.

“She seems emotionless, like nothing is making her happy or sad or mad” Gray continued as he sat down in the stool next to Cana, his fist tighten and his shoulders were tense.

“She doesn’t smile at all, it’s like when she was in Phantom Lord but worse” 

The guildmates were circling him now, Gajeel was frowning with concern, his arms crossed.

“There must be something she drank Cana, you have to remember.. Please” Gray pleaded, his eyes were frightened, of course he will be, Juvia is very dear to him and to see her emotionless suddenly will make him panic.

In fact, she currently feels scared for her friend’s wellbeing. So she sat straighter, her mind was still woozy with her endless drinking but she is confident she can track the events of their previous encounter.

“Okay i do remember a woman who owned an inn, she didn’t look suspicious or anything but her place was empty, we thought maybe because the village didn’t have travellers to walk by, it was very windy and we didn’t want to face a storm in our way so we got in” she explained.

Everyone was murmuring amongst themselves, it is very clear that the village woman had  something to do with it.

“Did she offer you something?” Lucy asked.

“Yeah, like two bowls of potato soup and wine, she gave me two of those big barrels but Juvia didn’t want to overdrink herself so she just gave her tea” Cana suddenly gasped, it finally made sense, the tea was the cause for her friend’s issue.

“ That bi-” 

“Let me go find something about this tea, she could have fused it with something” Levy suggested while she went rushing to the library.

“I’m coming too” Lucy added, she squeezed Gray’s shoulder as a reassurance before she left.

“ and we will find this witch and break her spine” Gajeel said, cracking his knuckles, Lily already on top of his shoulder ready to fight.

Noticing his friend’s silence, Cana put her hand on his shoulder.

“Hey, are you okay?” she asked. Gray sighed and closed his eyes and shook his head. 

“I can’t go with Gajeel, i have to stay with Juvia” 

“I wasn’t even asking you” Gajeel opposed him with his usual gruffness, and left without a word.

Cana rolled her eyes at his attitude.

“I have to go back home” Gray said, getting up from his seat as he sighed, he was stressed, Cana can see it in his frown, he is stressed and worried about her.

“I am coming with you” she added, abandoning her sweet alluring drink aside, which Mira’s eyes widened with surprise.

“You don’t have to” replied her friend, his gaze was understanding and tired as he looked at her. It twisted Cana’s heart, she hates seeing Gray like that, it made her guilt eat her up.

She should have known better, an old woman in an abandoned inn, what worse could happen? 

“ no i want to, it is kind of my fault anyways” she hooked her arm with his and dragged him to the doors, she didn’t want to waste her time arguing while Juvia is alone at home.

Gray smiled lightly, she can tell that he was grateful for her company, on their way out he received a couple of back pats and support, they know that Juvia will come back the way she was again.

“I’ll send you a message to your Lacirama once Levy and Lucy find something” Mira called out, and they waved back in response.

Once Cana stepped foot into their house, she felt a sense of coldness, it was an unusual feeling, Juvia and Gray’s house always had warmth even if it’s residence was an ice mage. It was unsettling.

“Juvia, I am home” Gray said their usual greetings, but it was met with silence. All Gray could do was sigh.

Once Cana was led to their living room she was shocked at the state of her friend, Juvia looked so broken, her face was blank, her mouth was hanging open slightly, and was her face paler than usual?

“ Is it just me or does her face look blue?” she asked, her eyes still locked on Juvia’s frozen posture on the coach.

“No, she does look more blue” Gray replied, her worry grew worse.

“Hey Juvia, do you remember Cana?” Gray approached her, and gently gripped her shoulder.

“She doesn’t remember us?!” she asked, and he nodded sadly, Cana was bewildered, how come a single witch affect her friend’s memory like that? 

Juvia didn’t answer.

She slowly walked over to her and bent down to her knees, she rubbed them gently, and all Juvia could do was just glance at her, emotions were long gone from her blue eyes, now she looked soulless.

Cana felt disheartened, no wonder why Gray was desperate, she felt disgusted that her friend was deprived of her own emotions..

“Don’t worry Juv, you will be alright” Cana assured, giving her a smile. There is hope for her friend, she will come back and act like she used to. 

She hopes so.

Gray wrapped his arms around her from behind the couch and put his head on top of her, caressing her arms. He didn’t care that Cana was there, nothing mattered to him anymore except for Juvia.

This all feels surreal to him, once he realised that she wasn’t moving this morning he began to panic, he thought some kind of bug crept into her head and messed with her system, she couldn’t even get up without him leading her.

Stripped from her own emotions, not even sorrow was visible in her eyes yet all Gray saw was grief.

Juvia was trapped inside a spell, and all Gray could do was wait, and he hated that he couldn’t do anything to bring his Juvia back, her enthusiasm, her smile, her love, her dramatic expressions.

It’s not fair, she worked so hard to get to where she is now, and they took that from her, they took it.

They took it.

Gray had to calm down, he could feel his anger creeping inside of him like hot boiled water, he wanted to break something, he wanted to hurt something, he wanted to kill.

Kill that witch.

But Juvia needs him the most, everything will be dealt with later, he swallowed down his feelings and breathed in the air to calm his nerves.

It took 3 hours for Lucy and Levy to dig out a clue, it turns out that the spell that made Juvia emotionless was called ‘Apathy’, once a person drinks it, he will feel like his senses are leaving him slowly.

It made Gray’s stomach churn with the idea that Juvia felt every emotion leave her mind and heart, it means that she was also scared, terrified that she could not feel anything.

It took a day to find a cure, but by the end of the day, Juvia finally had her senses back slowly, it started with fear. Juvia didn’t what’s happening to her or how it was happening, she was anxious, stressed and terrified.

It was very hard for Gray to try and comfort her every time, she always felt like something was trying to get her, his heart was broken in pieces but that didn’t stop him from being there for her.

And then sadness, and gradually she got her emotions settled and stable.

Gajeel came back after successfully ‘smashing her head with his iron fist’ which made the master question him if he really did that or if he was overreacting.

It turns out he didn’t kill her but he did knock her out.

Much to Gray’s disappointment.

“Juvia, you really don’t need to do this” 

His partner has been cooking plates of food and dishes with extra desserts, and Gray is grateful for it, he won’t deny any of her meals if only she gives herself a break from cooking everyday.

“This is the least Juvia could do because of what she did!” she refused to budge from her spot as she stirred a pot of chicken soup.

“That was not your fault” Gray sighed when she didn’t reply, hyper fixated on the pot in front of her, her ears were deaf.

He can already feel a headache coming. But he could have her screaming and yelling her love for him than having her sitting in a chair staring in the void like she was dead.

The warm hand on his arm snapped him from his circling dark thoughts, Juvia’s gaze was worried.

“Gray-sama, are you alright?” she asked.

Gray smiled warmly and brought her to his arms, she immediately reciprocated , giving him a tight hold of her own.

“Yeah, I just want you here for a while” he responded, enjoying the gentle warmth of Juvia’s body against him and living in the moment of blessing.

Please may I have a Fairy tail yandere headcanon of how would Yandere! Gray Fullbuster would react when he hears a man was discussing how to flirt with Gray Fullbuster's darling..knowing full well that Gray's darling is married to Gray Fullbuster and Gray's darling is Gray Fullbuster's wife. Darling didn't take any notice in what a stranger overhead was discussing about her considering that she was getting ice cream with her five year old son, storm and considering Gray's darling's craving for ice cream recently in regards that she was pregnant with Gray's unborn daughter. How would Yandere! Gray Fullbuster would react when his darling asks if he was alright when she and her son, Storm came back with ice cream. (How lovely that a family outing was ruined by a flirter who wanted to flirt with Gray's darling when knowing full well that the darling was married to Gray Fullbuster..* sarcasm*)

Ice cream cravings

❄️​Gray is not about to cause a ruckus because he is in public with his pregnant darling and his son and that really is the only blessing this bastard really has. Otherwise things would be quite chilling for him if you know what I mean. Due to the presence of wife and son though, Gray is doing his best to hold back the annoyance and anger that starts to build up when he eavesdrop the stranger discussing with his friends how he should strike a flirty conversation with you despite seeing very clearly your wedding ring and your swollen belly with his second child. How dumb can someone actually be? Or perhaps that guy just has a wish to experience a near-death-scenario? Gray has to hold back as he doesn't want to stress you nor does he want to scare his little son so he tries to keep you two away from the creep as he can only silently grit his teeth and ball his hands into fists to maintain the growing fury he feels as he is hyperfocusing on the discussion the other guy holds.

❄️​He is all about those icy glares in that moment as he doesn't have much else he can do and he dearly hopes that the other man will back off because otherwise he will throw hands. You are his wife, you already have a child with him and you are currently expecting your second child with him and if the guy somehow can't understand such delightfully obvious signs, Gray will have to remind him in other ways that he should stay away from his wife and his children. Despite some darker fantasies he is having right now, Gray is still hoping that the guy will stay away from you. Gray is after all aware of his more obsessive and protective tendencies and he fully knows that if he were to snap now, he could potentially scare you and your child and might also make you more cautious around him. After having built up such a loving relationship and even a family with you it is understandable that he would like to avoid such a scenario if he can.

❄️​His eyes constantly dart back and forth between you and your son as you buy ice cream for the three of you and the guy. He's shielding you from his view as good as he can as he can feel his blood boiling whenever the man tries to ogle you and he really is hoping that you will be done soon so that he can quickly leave the store with you. As soon as you and Storm return, his son particularly excited because he loves his ice cream, Gray is rather quick to usher all of you out. As soon as he sees the guy appearing to stand up from his chair when he sees you leaving, he decides to act quickly. He quietly uses his ice magic to freeze one of his legs to the ground, restricting his movement as he is suddenly stuck all whilst doing his best to hide all of his frustration and anger as he brings you and Storm outside. His eyes linger on the store out of slight paranoia that the guy will follow you somehow and it is only after he has lost sight of the store that he feels safe enough to focus fully on his darling and Storm again.

❄️​He doesn't tell you nor his son about what he witnessed. He doesn't want you to be worried for nothing and Storm would be probably too young to fully grasp how much of a creep that guy wa too. He just hopes that he won't have the displeasure to see that guy anytime soon again because if he does, he may want to have a serious conversation with him to remind him how inappropriate it is to try to cozy up to someone else's wife, especially if she is pregnant. His bad mood still lingers for a while even after the ice cream store is out of sight but he does his best to not let you nor Storm notice since both of you are in a good mood. Please allow him still to have an arm around your shoulders and keep his son close to him to soothe his protective instincts that were triggered as the three of you walk home. He wouldn't want another weirdo to approach you three after all.

May I please have Fairy tail headcanons of what Gray's childhood was like with his parents long before Deliora attacked and after Deliora attacked..(Gray's life with Ur and Lyon to put it simply afterwards). I can highly imagine that poor Gray had nightmares for a while about Deliora killing his parents when that happened and had sleepless nights.

Before

Gray was actually a really happy kid. Always smiling and just being goofy

Mika used to sing Gray to sleep at night (she had a very soothing voice in general)

Silver would carry Gray around on his shoulders through their town and show him all around

The Fullbuster's were well known in the town. The family was known for being very helpful

Mika worked at a hospital and would bring Gray along to play with her patients children and keep the elderly patients company. Gray was very popular there and loved cheering up bedridden patients

Silver was a blacksmith and Gray idolized him. He always wanted to go to work with his dad and learn how to make cool swords and stuff. Silver always said it was too dangerous but would bring Gray home little trinkets made from leftover scrap metal

It was really important to Gray's parents that they spent a lot of time together. They'd take him to festivals, picnics, sledding, ice skating, anything and everything they could possibly do as a family. Gray was never alone

After

Gray was super quiet when he joined Ur and Lyon. He kept them at an arms length (physically and emotionally)

Ur was determined to get close to him and took time to speak to him privately for at least a couple minutes a day. She made sure to respect his boundaries tho so when he asked her to leave him alone she would

Lyon would try and drag Gray to things because they were gonna be brothers now (Lyon's idea) but Gray would get angry and end it in a physical fight most times. He didn't want a brother. He didn't want a new family

Ur developed a habit of going to bed way later than the boys just so she could watch after Gray. He'd toss and turn, sometimes crying out as nightmares consumed him.

At first, he'd wake up and storm out of the cabin without a word. Gray would go to the woods and cry. Praying for his family back

But after sometime, Ur learned that if she placed Gray's head (still asleep) in her lap and hum softly to him, he'd settle down and sleep through the night. It helped calm her down as well

If Gray knew she was doing it, he never mentioned it. They just went about their morning as usual

Gray didn't talk very much, but he was always watching. He knew more about Lyon and Ur then he let on. Gray didn't want to get close to them but he couldn't help but want to. He was always fighting himself mentally over it

Storm Fullbuster. He is very frank (direct) in terms of communication. He tends to drift off in his daydreams. He has learned his father’s stripping habit. He likes soft things and ice pops. His hobbies include dancing, skating, and cooking. He uses Water Body and Ice Make Magic. He curses while in “battle mode”. His guild mark is located on his left pectoral and blue. He feels confident and secure of Luna’s reciprocal feelings for him. He understands Luna’s fears, of their relationship changing if she reveals her feelings for him, once he sees the gleam in her eyes when she spars with Gale. Sylvia Fullbuster. She is the most proper of her siblings. She can be dramatic. She had some complications during her birth, so she is weaker than her twin brother. She is older than her twin brother, Rin. She idolizes Asuka Connell. She uses water based magic and mainly uses them for healing purposes (she learns from her mother and Wendy Marvell). She has the ability to summon rain. Sylvia and Nash get along well! She is bolder than Akatsuki. Her guild mark is located on her right hip. She is eleven years old. She is an Aries.

Rin Fullbuster. He has a fraternal twin sister and he is protective of her. He is hot headed, dramatic, and easily jealous. He is also the worst to anger, because he causes the most destruction when upset. He is labeled as the joker of the FTNewGen. He is tanner than his twin sister, because he is sporty, and the time he spends outside, means he is in the harsh sunlight. He has a “big potty mouth”. He learned his father’s stripping habit. He idolizes Asuka Connell. He likes Rosemary (“the plant”) and betting. HIs hobbies include dressing up and sleeping. He has a cross tattoo on the back of his neck. He uses Plasma Beams and Earth Elements Magic. His magic requires a lot of high pain tolerance and he has the ability to summon lava from the ground. His guild mark is located on his right hip. He is eleven years old. He is an Aries.

Reiki Fernandes. He is bisexual. He can be bossy and competitive, yet is cool headed, well-mannered, and polite. He inherited his mother’s intense glare. He also is prepared for anything and finds cleaning swords therapeutic (like his mother). He loves his mother. He can be a “drama queen” and is a trusted leader. He usually steps out of brawls victorious and unharmed. He is an S-Class mage. He is a “lousy assed drinker” (he turns to it when he gets too stressed). He is quite vague in terms of communication. He is more buff than Storm. He tends to “baby” his little sister. He thinks Gale is hot (platonically). He begged Gale to “make him look more like his father”, so Gale gave Reiki his facial tattoo. He dated Nova for a bit, before breaking up with her because she was not her true self like how she was with Gale. He helps out his father with cooking at home. He likes strawberry cakes and corny films. His hobbies include teasing guildmates (especially Nash), training and exploring. His parents accept him after his relationship with Nash becomes public, and the news shocks the guild because “it wasn’t obvious”. She was born with an insane amount of magic power, leading to multiple failed kidnappings by evil wizards. “Holding back” is not in her dictionary. She is an S-Class mage when she becomes a teenager. She prefers solo missions. She uses Crystal Control and Energy Manipulation Magic. Her guild mark is located on the middle of her lower back. She likes nature, mementos, and music. Her hobbies include sword fighting, sewing, and dancing. She is ten years old. She is an Aquarius.

Gale Redfox. As a child, he was all “sunshine and rainbows”. He used to be weak and timid, causing him to be bullied frequently. He was a HUGE mama’s boy and, now, tries his best to overcome his attachment to his mother. He got involved in bad company, which turned him into a rebel. He used his magic power to prank people and destroy public property. He started to work out and hone his powers to prove people wrong. He dyed his hair dark blue to appear more intimidating. The more trouble he got into, the more his father got worried, leading to fights between the two to vent out frustrations. Gajeel tells Gale about his time in Phantom Lord and how he doesn’t want his son following the same path. Gale returns to Fairy Tail to make amends. His guild mark is located on his left pectoral. He prefers solo missions. The Fullbuster twins seem to have taken a liking to him! He spars with Luna. He learns tattoo art in his free time and believes his mother’s Script Magic is the prettiest art there is. He is a much better singer than his father and, secretly, has singing lessons with Mirajane Strauss. He likes to eat mutton with mint ice cream. He never curses, but he does label or nickname people. He is a kuudere (shut out, cold, shows no emotions). Gale is the one who gave Reiki his face tattoo after Reiki was begging him to make him more like his father. His feisty relationship with Nova causes him to fall for her (unknowingly). Her mental strength encourages Gale to become more powerful to win her heart, even when he knew she fell for Reiki. When Nova breaks down, after learning Reiki is together with Nash, Gale comforts her and confesses his feelings. He tells her he loves her sassy, prideful, vulgar, and hot headed self (along with her good, kind heart). He starts to go out on more missions with Nova and realizes the reciprocal feelings. He is eighteen years old. He is a Scorpio.

“Little Redfox daughter”. Her possible names are Mackenzie, Venetia, or Izusa. She is possibly short or "little". She is possibly younger or "little(r)" than her brother.

“MIRAXUS son”. His possible names are Kai, Raiden, or Kakumi. He is an S-Class mage. He looks scary, but is not.

Nova Dreyar. Her father treats her like his little princess. She is sassy and powerful. She can be intimidating (like her parents). She prides herself in maintaining Fairy Tail’s powerful reputation, but stresses out because of the public’s expectation of her being just as powerful as her parents. She trains herself extensively to the point of exhaustion, and her parents intervened to convince her that she did not have to live up to anyone’s expectations. Nova would taunt and tease Gale to pressure him into becoming more powerful to prove her wrong. She keeps a close eye on Nash and Rin (the more destructive members of Fairy Tail). She is closest to Asuka Connell, Reiki Fernandes, and Gale Redfox. She falls for Reiki and that becomes glaringly obvious. Nova and Reiki dated for a while before the relationship ended. She becomes vulnerable with Gale, who comforts and confesses his feelings for her, and reveals her frailty when it comes to the matters of her heart. The pair go out on more missions together and Nova realizes her true feelings for Gale. She vents her frustrations through witty sarcasm. She likes horoscopes and horse riding. Her hobbies include bartending and biking. Her guild mark is located on her right thigh. She uses Omnicounter Magic. She is eighteen years old. She is a Capricorn.

Akatsuki Eucliffe. He is Sabertooth’s log keeper and, possibly, has no magic power. His guild mark is located on his left shoulder. He is very intelligent. He likes bowties and ties. His hobbies include reading, writing, and photography. He believes Sylvia is a pretty girl, and he is shy and secretive about his feelings for her. He is eleven years old. He is a Virgo.

Paper Planes

Juvia Lockser felt her heart pounding strong in her chest. She had been waiting for the day Gray Fullbuster would return from his mission for days. She couldn’t even tell how much she missed seeing him on the balcony in the apartment across hers every morning. She opened the front door of her own apartment and immediately glanced at the outside area of it, noticing there was something on the floor. As she walked towards it, she felt a pain through her heart, for not seeing him yet. Juvia bent down and picked up what seemed to be a yellow paper plane. She picked it up and opened it. Her heart began beating faster and faster as she unfolded the paper. She could barely control her smile while reading its content and ran to the edge of her balcony as soon as she finished. The smile on her face immediately faded when she realized there was no one around. That he wasn’t around. About two minutes later, when she returned inside, Gray walked out of where he had been hiding – and watching her – the whole time. He was holding a few colored papers in his left hand.

Hours later, Gray finally arrived at his house. He let himself fall on the couch and watched some TV. At some point, he glanced at the window and saw something outside it. He jumped out of the sofa, rushing to it. A smile appeared on his lips when he saw it was a paper plane. She had written one and threw it towards his apartment. Still smiling, he returned inside.

A few days had gone by and Juvia couldn’t help but feel a little upset because she didn’t get any other paper planes. But then again, she hasn’t sent any as well. She was making her way to a table at the bar when something came flying and landed on her seat. She immediately put her glass on the table and picked the light yellow paper plane, unfolding it right away. Her heart was full of love and she pressed the letter against her chest.

“Hey, Juvia.” Lisanna approached her, with a large smile on her face. “Is that a letter from a secret admirer?”

“It’s from my lovely Gray.” Juvia said excitedly and pressed the letter tighter against her chest, crushing the paper a little. “Juvia loves it very much.”

“I can tell.” The other woman smiled wider. “You really like him, don’t you?”

“Juvia does!” She exclaimed and started looking around, searching for him. “I can’t find my Gray! He’s not here.”

“I saw him leaving. Maybe if you hurry, you can catch him.”

“Juvia is out.” She stormed out of the bar, desperately looking for the object of her affection.

Juvia looked all around herself when she walked outside, her heart pounding and aching at the mere thought of not finding her favorite person. Desperation taking over her, as well as the tears in her eyes, until another paper plane landed on her feet. Her heart beating even faster as she bent down and picked up. Her eyes were fixated on the light blue paper in her hands, but she could still see a pair of legs walking out from a house and stopping some meters away from her. She would recognize them anywhere. A large smile appeared on her face even before she locked eyes with him. She briefly felt breathless as she stared at his bare chest, which she adored.

“My lovely Gray! Juvia missed you so much!” She ran to him, closing their rather long distance. “Are you okay? Did you get hurt on this mission? You look so pale! Juvia will take care of you.”

“I’m fine.” He assured her. “It was an exhausting mission, but everything went fine. I’m here now.”

“Juvia is so happy!” She squealed, in complete bliss.

“So do you want to get it on?”

“Get it on?” She repeated, her cheeks blushing heavily and affection overwhelming her. And soon, she passed out.

“Juvia, are you okay?” Gray held her in his arms, shaking her lightly. “Juvia, wake up.”

The blue haired woman slowly opened her eyes and her whole face went red with their proximity. Never had she ever stayed so close to his chest before, let alone being held by him.

“Juvia is not fine.” She managed to say, despite all the feelings their proximity brought to her.

“You’re not gonna pass out again, are you?”

“No.” Though she felt like she could easily do it again, due to how inebriating his scent was. She wondered what it was of.

“So, you still haven’t answered my question.” He offered her his hand and they both stood up. Juvia couldn’t help but rejoice on the fact she was actually holding his hand. It felt so soft and warm. “Do you want to get it on?”

“Uh…Juviawouldloveto.” The words came out of her mouth altogether, due to how nervous she was with such offer.

“Sorry, I don’t think I heard you.” Gray said in a light tone, though deep down he did hear what she said.

“Juvia would love to.” She said it again, more slowly this time.

“Great.” He curled his fingers around her palm and brought both their hands down. “Also, you still haven’t read the last paper plane.”

“Oh.” Juvia looked down to the paper she was still holding in her right hand and let go of him to undo the plane. Her eyes went wide while she silently read it, and her cheeks blushed violently. “Gray.” She looked up at him. “Did you really mean that?”

“Of course I did.” He looked down at her. “All this time I was away made me think ‘why not’? And it felt good. It felt right.”

She looked at his hand stretched at her for a moment and then into his eyes again.

“So what do you say?”

A warm smile appeared on her lips as she took it. “I say that’s all I’ve ever wanted.”

Chapter 4: Birthday Party Gone Wrong

{Kids}: Storm Fullbuster- 4 Nashi Dragneel- 4

It was a beautiful day and nothing could go wrong, except everything had gone wrong. Nashi and Storm shared a birthday and in the past, it had been fine but today they were arguing over who got to open presents first and who got to blow out their candles first. The fighting had turned physical pretty quickly and now Lucy and Juvia had to hold back their kids so that no one got hurt more than they already had. It seemed as though they were calming down, but then Lauren had gotten to both cakes and took a handful from each to try. And thus screaming and crying began once again and all the parents were about ready to end the party and take their kids home. The only kids who had not done anything were Kate and Nito, they sat next to their parents watching as their friends acted crazy.

“Nashi Dragneel you stop this behavior right now or I’m taking you home and you don’t get to open your presents until tomorrow.” Lucy scolded her daughter, setting her on a table and looking straight into her eyes.

“But, but mommy! I wanted to, to open presents first but Storm wouldn’t let me. And then, Lauren eat some of my, my cake!” The pink-haired girl said through sobs. 

Lucy was not having it, so she handed Nashi to Natsu, picked up the little girl’s presents, and led her family home.

“Mommy, since Nashi has to go home, can I have more of her cake?” Lauren asked Cana, her face still covered in crumbs and frosting.

“No sweetie, it’s not your birthday,” Cana said, pulling her daughter’s hair back so that it didn’t stick to her face. It didn’t take long for the other families to go home and for Mira to clean up the guildhall. 

Later that night Nashi had decided that she wanted to apologize to Storm and so she snuck out and ran to the Fullbuster house. When she got there she knocked on the door not thinking about the fact that it would be either Gray or Juvia that answered the door.

“Nashi, what are you doing here? It’s way too late for you to be out on your own.” Juvia said after opening the door and seeing the Dragneel girl.

“I wanted to say sorry to Storm,” Nashi explained, looking up at the water mage.

“Well he’s asleep but why don’t you come in well I call your mom.”

“No! Don’t call my mommy, she will get even madder at me!” Nashi said, shaking her head quickly to emphasize her fear.

“Well I need to let your parents know you’re here, you don’t want them to worry do you?” Juvia asked, leading Nashi to the couch.

A few minutes later there was a knock at the door. Juvia answered it, letting Natsu in.

“Alright pumpkin, let's go home. Your mommy is really mad, but I’m sure you already know that.” Natsu said, picking up his daughter and taking her home.

The next Nashi was the first one to wake up and so she was the one to answer the door when there was a sudden knock. Outside stood Storm and Juvia, and they were holding party stuff.

“Good morning Nashi, sorry about yesterday I was being a bad friend.” Storm said, looking down at the ground in shame.

“I’m sorry too, we were both bad friends,” Nashi said, wrapping her arms around Storm in an effort to hug him.

When Lucy came down she asked what was happening and Juvia explained that Storm had wanted to apologize and asked if they could have another party but only them.

“Well I suppose that’s okay, come inside you two and I’ll make pancakes.”
