The absolute state of the bluetick/Stonebatter/Smithfield residents association on twitter being like:
"yup the people destroying the bandstand in Stephen's Green"
"Yup the lads drinking, dumping crap and not wearing masks on South William St"
"It's the lack of bins and toilets"
"The young people have been cooped up and SACRIFICED THEIR LIVES for us"
"Sure I would have hung out of a damaged band stand back in my day"
Like we are not still in a pandemic and like people of ages didn't sacrifice their lives for 16 months. Like there aren't young people with health issues who are still isolating
It's literally our toxic attitude to drink and the fact that this is all happening on the southside that's fueling the excuses.
If that was Darndale or Finglas they'd be the first calling them scumbags and ch*vs. Also it was the same people who were slagging off the antilock down protests for the same thing and now their are praising them because the craic and drink are involved

ARD RIGH ROAD OR ARD RI ROAD [STONEBATTER AREA OF DUBLIN]-159143 by William Murphy Via Flickr: The High Kings of Ireland (Irish: Ard-Rí na hÉireann] were sometimes historical and sometimes legendary figures who had, or who are claimed to have had, lordship over the whole of Ireland for centuries. Apart from the striking artisan dwellings, the area is also known for the prominent Viking street names. For example, there is Viking Road, Olaf Road, Thor Place, Sitric Road, Norseman Place, Ard Ri Road, Malachi Road, Ostman Place, Ivar Street, Sigurd Road and Harold Road. At the time of the Norman invasion, the Vikings, Ostmen or Austmenn (men of the East) as they called themselves, were exiled to the north of the Liffey where they founded the hamlet of Ostmenstown later to become Oxmantown.

THE ARBOUR HILL - STONEBATTER AREA OF DUBLIN [SITRIC PLACE]-158513

THE ARBOUR HILL - STONEBATTER AREA OF DUBLIN [SITRIC PLACE]-158513 by William Murphy Via Flickr: Back in the late 1960s many of my friends decided to purchase homes in or near Arbour Hill in Dublin but as I worked for a US Multi-National I was out of the country for about two hundred days every year i was not really practical for me to buy property in Ireland. In 1979 I tried to purchase a house in Arbour Hill and i actually gave the agent a deposit of £10,000 but two days after it was discovered that he had collected about twenty deposits for the same property. Fortunately for me he failed to cash my cheque before he disappeared however as as result I decided to forget about buying a house in Dublin and I did not return to the market until 1995. Arbour Hill is an inner city area of Dublin, on the Northside of the River Liffey, in the Dublin 7 postal district. Arbour Hill, the road of the same name, runs west from Blackhall Place in Stoneybatter, and separates Collins Barracks, now part of the National Museum of Ireland, to the south from Arbour Hill Prison to the north, whose graveyard includes the burial plot of the signatories of the Easter Proclamation that began the 1916 Rising.
