As a Sofia the first fan for a decade, who’s your favorite princess? Was the show part of your childhood or adulthood like mine?

I know that lots of ppl don’t like her but I love Sofia, I feel like we had similar looks when I was younger so I just liked her

It was definitely a show of my childhood, idk when it came out, it came out 2013, so definitely my childhood, I would have been five 😭😭

I used to spend Friday nights at my Nana’s house up until she moved out of town (I am in fact her favourite, she’s admitted it) and stf was my fav on Disney junior 

And then during Covid I BEGGED my parents to get Disney and I ended up binging stf and I realized the plot was so good, especially in the later seasons?!?!

And that was middle school for me and I had a whole Disney phase of being a Disney theorist (grandmum being sisters with queen Rita and Zandar being the lead ones) and my first time ever reading fanfiction was Sofia the first

Do you have any Sofia autistic headcanons?

Yesss, I'll put some here!

Sofia was undiagnosed prior to coming to the castle, Miranda however had an inkling. It was Cedric who, after getting close with and spending lots of time with her, pointed out she was definitely autistic, he recognised lots of his younger self in her.

One of her most prominent traits in her personality is her high sense of justice, we see this time and time again. It's one reason she pushed through and made it on the flying derby team.

She sometimes gets overstimulated during busy balls, especially with being the kind of person she is, she's always socialising with everyone and getting involved in the party. When she does, she finds a calm, quiet space to sit in for a while, usually an empty hallway. She often ends up finding Cedric there too, taking his own break from the crowds and noises.

Her autism is why she didn't get Cedric's sarcasm in the first season, it was also the first thing that made Cedric speculate she wasn't allistic.

Magic is one of her special interests. Even before she moved to the castle it was something she took interest in, she was overjoyed when she learnt that there were magic lessons at royal prep, even more so when Cedric took her on as his apprentice.

Knowing that no one else in her family or social circle is autistic, Cedric feels a level of protectiveness and responsibility over her. In the sense that he wants her to know she isn't alone in how her mind works, even if it seems so. He's usually the one who helps her understand her traits and things she does, many of which he experiences himself. And also guides her through things he's experienced first hand.

That's all I really have for rn, I haven't thought of this headcanon a ton, but I'll likely post more about it:)

When it’s a not disney studio people praise it but when disney does it

At most Wish has STF's animation style, but that's completely ignoring the fact STF has a TV budget and it's painfully obvious it does (but I love it nonetheless) while Wish's animation has a lot more budget to iron out this type of animation style, so it looks more smooth and grand.

But yeah, I wanna bet my entire ass that if any studio that's not Disney made Wish, it'd be getting praised left and right, up and down and from monday to sunday.

I see alot of Supervillain Cub being Sculk Cub or Jingler vibes.

And my thoughts were like "but what if Pharoh Cub was a Super Villain?"

and then it turned to some rather uh... nsfw thoughts of Hotguy and Pharaoh.

Honestly I've enjoyed playing around with Pharaoh Cub and the power dynamics between him and Mayor Scar before in s7, but throwing that at Pharaoh Cub and HoTgUy in s9 would def be really interesting to write.

Hmm. Perhaps an AU where King Ren is usurped by Pharaoh Cub, who seduced HoTgUy into taking out the King to keep his hands clean. And then has a very loyal assassin kneeling at his feet to keep everyone's loyalties in check. Maybe that could be one way to do that.

It's not just Cub in Pharaoh garb, tho. The Royal Magician was channeling the Pharaoh's power to see if he could achieve something only the Pharaoh's magic could do, and instead, got his ass possessed again, which is what makes him usurp the King. And Cub doesn't care bc it's the Pharaoh, an old version of himself, and he gets to be a real Pharaoh at last and rule over all the Hermits. And if he goes a little mad, well. So be it. He'll laugh manically until he's also deposed and enjoy every moment of it because he sure as shit won't remember any of it once the Pharaoh's gone.

That could definitely be one way to tackle it for sure. Maybe I'll think about it once I'm done with my current ancient Egyptian AU, bc I still have a lot to write for that one ngl.

Crushing Stage: ROs reactions to seeing a hickey on the MC’s neck?

santiago would light heartedly ridicule mc, claiming that it's so high school and how mc probably has cooties as a joke. what's not a joke is how defeated they are once they get home

hewitt brought it onto themselves. they were the ones who asked why there's a large bruise on mc's neck. frowns in what seems to be disgust and brushes it off way too quickly.

Sofia x Onna, Sofia x Vivian, and a new ship I just recently discovered: Sofia x Lani. Because Sof can never have enough girlfriends (and boyfriends if you head canon her as bisexual with a preference for men).

Oonfia

I like the story of The Floating Palace, but honestly I’m not too invested in Oona’s character. So as a result this ship isn’t really my thing, but I do see why others ship them.

Vivfia

Alright my favorite Vivian ship is Viviclio, but I do have a soft spot for Vivfia (the fanartists are at least partially to blame). I love both Sofia and Vivian and their relationship, and I can easily see it becoming shippy. I know she already has a few episodes, but I wish there was more time spent on Sofia and her friends, including Vivian.

Lanfia

Same thing as Oonfia. Lani is only in two episodes, and I’m not particularly interested in her character. In my opinion, the implications from The Emerald Key (The Enchancian family have very Eurocentric views on what a princess is) are more interesting than any potential ships, but that just might be me.

P.S. I do think that Sofia is attracted to people of all genders. My headcanon is that she’s pan, but I have seen people say bi as well.

35. kissing their bruises and scars. Not sure if you’ve seen Sofia the First (aka where Elena came from) but this would be after the finale between Amber and Sofia.

Amber put one earring to her right ear and a different one to the other. Now she just needed to pick one pair and she'll be ready for the ball! She could barely hold her excitement in. But that was no surprise, she loved balls, and this time they really had a good reason to celebrate...

Sudden knocking on the door pulled her out of her thoughts.

"Come in! Oh it's you, Sofia!" Amber beamed when she saw her sister slipping into the room.

"Hi, Amber" Sofia sent her a tired smile.

"You have the perfect timing!" She exclaimed, dragging Sofia before the mirror and picking up the earrings. "Now help me choose, pearl or ruby?"

Sofia looked at her for a long moment and furrowed her brows in concentration.

"I'd say ruby?"

"I thought so too." Amber nodded and put on the right earring.

"Actually Amber, I've came to ask you for a favor..." Sofia seized her chance to speak up.

"Oh, of course Sofia, what do you need?" Amber looked at her sister intrigued, if only a little worried.

"Um, I was hoping... I could borrow some of your make up?" Sofia dropped her gaze to the floor and started to fidget with her enchantlet.

Amber didn't answer at first, only looked at her with wide eyes.

"Oh."

Finally she shook off the surprise and started the rummage through her vanity.

"Sure, of course, although I'm not sure if it will really fit you since we have a bit different complexions..." Her hand hovered over the proper case. "Where did that sudden interest come from, though? You were never really interested in make up."

"Oh, you know," she laughed nervously and her gaze moved from the floor to an exceptionally boring painting on a wall. "This whole fight today was... Rough, and I don't want everyone on the ball constantly mention that and worry for me."

Amber furrowed her brows and started "Why would they worry..." when she noticed something peculiar about Sofia's appearance - she has styled her bangs in a completely different way, so that now they were covering a bigger part of her face. A heavy stone of guilt settled in her stomach, as she walked over to Sofia and pushed the bangs aside.

"Sofia!" A sharp gasp escaped her mouth.

The left side of Sofia's face, from the jawline to the cheekbone and on the forehead, was dotted with dark, sickly green and purple patches.

"It's just a few bruises," she muttered.

"But they look terrible!"

"I know that's why I wanted to cover them up..." Sofia continued to explain, but Amber stated to shake her head before she even finished.

"Oh no, no make up in such situations, I'm taking you to a medic right away!" Amber grabbed her hand and started to pull her towards the door, but Sofia stood her ground.

"Amber!" It was enough to make her stop. "That's exactly why I didn't want to tell anyone," Sofia sighed a deep, exhausted sigh. "Today has been... Terrible. And I really just want to go to the ball and have fun and you know that when mom and dad find out they'll freak out and they might even call it all off!"

Amber pursed her lips. When she looked at Sofia she could see, that she was in no condition to face dad's worry and mom's questions right know, but she didn't want to just leave her sister hurting either... Finally she took a deep breath, as an idea started to form in her brain, and she spoke up.

"Okay, I'll help you cover them," a sneaky smile started to grow on her face. "But only after we go see a medic. And I'll help you hide it from parents later too."

Sofia slowly returned her smile and even giggled a little.

"Alright." She walked over towards her sister.

"Oh and for now, so it heals faster..." Amber took Sofia's face and planted careful kisses on her cheek and forehead.

"Thanks, Amber," she giggled again and pulled her into a hug.

So I probably should've rewatched at least the finale before writing this... But if something isn't right let's say that it takes place a long time after the finale, like, a few years XD
