No offense but also full offense SteveWanda is not cute to me and the situations with Simon and Victor are both wayyy too messy to actually be viable relationships. That's just my personal opinion but also I'm right so.

Wanda watched Steve from her spot on the small loveseat in her old room as he finished suiting up, worrying her bottom lip between her teeth. She was pretending to read the tablet Natasha had dropped off with the mission brief uploaded to it. When he began to fiddle with one of the straps at his shoulder she stood and walked over to him, gesturing for him to sit on the edge of her bed. She stood between his legs and her deft fingers made quick work of tightening the buckle, letting her hands linger on him for a moment before reaching up to cup his face in her palms.
“Thanks,” he whispered. His arms encircled her, holding her close to him for a few moments longer.
“I know I don’t have to tell you to be safe, but I’m telling you to be safe.”
“I will be. And I’ll check in with you whenever we can.”
The tips of her fingers danced across his temples. Just come home to us, she silently implored as her lips pressed against his forehead. Steve tilted his head back far enough to capture her lips in a kiss to seal his promise.
“I will,” he nodded. His knuckles grazed over her bump through her gauzy black shirt. “I love you, Wanda.”
“I love you, too.”
“You know, I never used to have such a hard time leaving.”
“The sooner you go, the sooner you’ll come back. Isn’t that what they say?”
“I guess so.”
Their reverie was interrupted by a soft knock on the door and Bucky’s voice could be heard on the other side.
“Steve? We gotta roll out.”
“Yeah,” he answered. “I’ll be right there.”
Wanda broke away from him to unzip the round leather case leaning against her chest of drawers that contained his shield. She withdrew it, hoping that it could protect him in all the ways that she couldn’t, and handed it to him.
They walked hand in hand across the tarmac to where the Quinjet awaited the team of four consisting of Steve, Bucky, Rocket, and Nebula.
“We’ll be in touch as soon as we’ve secured our stakeout position,” Steve said to Wanda, Natasha, and Rhodey. He gave his wife’s hand a final squeeze and boarded the jet.

July 2019
Beep...Beep...Beep!
She groaned at the sound of the familiar alarm. His, not hers, especially at this ungodly hour. She sighed when he shifted away from her to reach over and silenced the offensive object on the nightstand. He never hit the snooze button, probably didn’t even know what it was. When he left the bed, he turned around to pull the covers up around her shoulders and she let one of her eyes open just a bit.
“Sorry,” he murmured as his lips met her forehead, his beard tickling her skin. “Go back to sleep.”
“Stay,” she whispered, the way she did any morning she woke up when he was leaving for his run at 0530 hours.
“Go back to sleep and you won’t even know I’m gone.”
“I always know. You’re leaving later today anyway. We don’t think you need to go for a run this morning.”
