The FOX & Friends opened their Wednesday talking about Gov. Ron DeSantis and his Twitter announcement with owner Elon Musk.
"What the heck is Twitter Spaces?" a clueless Steve Doocy asked, according to RealClearPolitics.
He wasn't the only one with questions, as the reporter explained.
"Do most GOP primary voters know how to log onto Twitter to watch Musk's interview of Ron DeSantis? Will the networks carry the stream live?" asked Capitol Hill reporter Philip Melanchthon Wegmann.

Liberal California teen says he went to a Trump rally and ‘experienced incredible kindness’
“Growing up in L.A., you think that these events are going to be like, very aggressive,” Samuel Donner told host Fox News host Steve Doocy on Tuesday.
The California teen, a self-described “liberal,” who expected aggression at the Trump rally he attended in Tennessee said he instead “experienced incredible kindness.”
Donner said he went to the rally with the goal of making 100 new friends. His “100New Friends” video went viral on TikTok
“I was absolutely baffled that people wanted to talk and would actually be friends with me,” Donner said.
In the TikTok video, Donner said his interactions with MAGA supporters changed how he views America and challenged his prior notions about the millions of American backing Trump.
“We’re just trying to find common ground between humans,” Donner said. “And I think at the end of the day, humans have a lot more common ground than we’re led to believe. If you can start those conversations, you can actually understand where that common ground is.”

It's the little things.
Tumblr media
July 27, 2023
Since the business model of the right-wing political/media ecosystem requires its audience to be in a perpetual state of anger and outrage, new reasons must continually be found to keep them properly incensed. And it doesn't really matter how petty those reasons are.
It was easy back in the days of President Barack Obama (pictured above committing one of his many presidential atrocities). Simply being a Black man in the White House was enough to keep most Republicans riled up. And, whether he was wearing a tan suit or refusing to use the term "radical Islam," conservatives could always count on him doing something that would infuriate them.
During the run-up to the Iraq war, then-Senator Obama decided to stop wearing a US flag lapel pin because it had become "a substitute for, I think, true patriotism." Even more scandalous, a photo of him not putting his hand over his heart during the national anthem emerged. And the right lost its collective mind. Fumed Faux News host Steve Doocy,
First he kicked his American flag pin to the curb. Now Barack Obama has a new round of patriotism problems. Wait until you hear what the White House hopeful didn't do during the singing of the national anthem.
In 2014, he offered a less-than-formal salute to a Marine standing guard as he exited the presidential helicopter. And, naturally, the National Republican Congressional Committee waxed indignant: “Wait - did President Obama just salute the Marines with a LATTE in his hand?!” Somehow, he escaped being impeached over this.
Sadly, when it comes to fueling GOPer ire, President Biden has proven a poor substitute. Sure, they complained when he wouldn't make a pointless, performative pilgrimage to the southern border and said he had "more important things to do." But then in January he went. They also grumbled about Vice President Kamala Harris not visiting the border. Until she did, too.
As a result, Republicans have had to find (or fabricate) other laughably minor grounds for remaining irritated. Bud Light beer featured a trans woman in an ad. The US women's soccer team didn't sing along with the national anthem (neither do US Marines). The government wants to take away your gas stoves. The FBI has been "weaponized" against conservatives. Critical Race Theory is being taught to first graders. M&M's are too "woke." And on and on.
The Republican establishment's aim is to keep its voters so enraged over small matters, they won't notice how stupid and cruel the Party is when it comes to larger concerns. Like governing.

Steve Doocy: "Donald Trump has called for America to defund the police, particularly the FBI, the DOJ because the Democrats have weaponized law enforcement...Who thinks that's a good idea?"
 Fox Voter Panel: *crickets*
 Steve Doocy: "Alright, nobody."
The same guy that tried to use “Defunding the police against Dems and the left
now wants to defund the police because he’s in trouble and being held accountable
