A/N: sorry this fanfic took a while, I was helping move houses anyways enjoy :)

Tanjiro

Sweet baby boy would have pink dusted all over his face.

He would go all quiet all of a sudden. But even though he turned quiet, he’s actually enjoying the moment of being accompanied by you.

Imagine gently stroking is pretty red hair and embracing his head by your chest.

He kept leaning into your touch like a lil puppy

Eventually both of you would fall asleep in each other’s arms WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA CYUTE

Sorry this one is a bit shorter than the other ones :’)

Tanjiro sat on the dirt floor of the training grounds to catch his breath after a long, tiring day of training. He laid himself on the dirt floor and stared at the shrouding clouds above, before closing his eyes to rest. While he was engulfed in a void of darkness, he noticed that he was soon enveloped by your aroma. His eyes flutter open and found you laying next to him. You nudged him closer to hug his head close to your chest before asking him about his training. “It was great! I got to improve my Total Concentration Breathing and my Hinokami Kagura techniques got even sharper!” You chuckled as you listened to Tanjiro rant about his day. You began stroking his red hair and giving him small pecks on his forehead. He enjoyed the comforting accompany you offered him that his eyelids eventually felt heavy. Every time he blinked, it became harder to open his eyes again. You stroking his hair did not help him stay awake though. Tanjiro eventually gave in to his sleepiness and entered a deep void of slumber. You found him so adorable asleep in your arms, but you felt yourself getting sleepier by the second. So, wrapped in each other’s arms, you both succumbed to deep slumber.

Bonus: While you were sleeping together, Zenitsu came to look up on Tanjiro since he already missed dinner. But upon arriving the training grounds, he saw you two in this state. Jealousy washed over him. “WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?????!! HOW COULD TANJIRO HAVE A PARTNER SOONER THAN MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE???”

Zenitsu

Bring earmuffs while your ears are still alive

When you suddenly start cuddling him he would be straight up frozen

Then start shivering like it’s the Mexican winter

But instead of being cold, he would be BOILING, to the point where there is steam coming out of his ears.

Congratulations, you turned Zenitsu into a tomato!

He would scream ear-piercingly loud while tightly clinging on to you.

“WAAAAAAAAAAA Y/N-CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN I LOVE IT WHEN YOU CUDDLE WITH MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! YOUR THIGHS FEEL SO COMFYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY”

Zenitsu sat alone on a stone fence, under a blooming Sakura tree outside of Butterfly Mansion, eating an onigiri. Tanjiro, Inosuke and you were all on solo missions, so he ate lunch alone while waiting for you all to return. Zenitsu looked up to see the thousand tiny Sakura petals falling from the tree, reminding him how much he missed you. Just while he was distracted, you returned to the Butterfly Mansion after your solo mission. You saw Zenitsu sitting alone and felt joy to be able to see him again. You knew how much he missed you since you both kept exchanging letters while you were gone. With a small smile tugging on your face, you approached him. Zenitsu heard you approaching him and was about to turn around and greet you, but you swiftly sat down next to him, gently held his head on both sides with your two hands, laid his head on your lap and started stroking his soft golden hair. For a moment he froze, but it wasn’t long before he started shivering and turning bright red. His head immediately felt hot and he even started steaming. Zenitsu wrapped his arms around your waist (while still laying down) and began screaming. “WAAAAAAAAAAA Y/N-CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN I LOVE IT WHEN YOU CUDDLE WITH MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! YOUR THIGHS FEEL SO COMFYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY” After hearing his overly loud screaming you froze. “EHH???” And before long, you became a flustered mess as well.

Inosuke

Thought you were trying to fight him lol

But when you took of his mask and start giving him soft pecks on the cheek, he thought it felt nice and comforting.

But now he’s a bit confused, weren’t you trying to fight him just a second ago?

“What the hell are you doing?”

“Just cuddling you”

“What is cuddling? What are you trying to do to Lord Inosuke!?” He’s funny lol

“Don’t worry about it, just try to feel snug and comfortable.”

Inosuke still wasn’t sure what you were trying to do but it felt nice to have you clinging to him.

You found Inosuke resting on the bed of his room after coming back from his solo mission. Bandages covered multiple parts of the injuries on his body. You heard he had taken a huge toll from this solo mission since the demon he fought during the mission was particularly strong, which explains why he seemed so exhausted. You wanted to help him feel more comfortable so that he can relax and regain his energy. So you approached him, placed both of your knees on the bed and took his boar mask off. You snaked both of your arms around his waist from behind and pecked his pretty face, before resting your head on his shoulder. Inosuke knew it was you behind him, but he wasn’t sure what you were trying to do. He at first thought you were trying to fight him, but when you started to act so intimate with him, he started to notice how comforting and nice it felt. “What the hell are you doing?” Inosuke asked you with a confused yet slightly flushed face. “Just cuddling you”. “What is cuddling? What are you trying to do to Lord Inosuke!?” You chuckled and placed a finger over his lips. “Don’t worry about it, just try to feel snug and comfortable.” Inosuke was still confused but he decided to let it slide just this once just because you make him feel so comforted and relaxed.

EATING LUNCH WITH THEM: KARASUNO EDITION

FT. daichi, sugawara, asahi, nishinoya, tanaka, kageyama, hinata, tsukishima, yamaguchi, kiyoko, yachi, keishin, takeda.

DAICHI

He tends to eat a lot, so make sure to add some extra bites in your lunch for him to snack on! But besides that, he will feed you like a baby, might try the whole 'brrr here comes the airplane' bit and everything as a joke, but will always make sure to say "ahhhh" when he feeds you. Although he is one person, he brings like, a small-family sized meal for lunch, mostly containing protein and a meat stuffed onigiri(pfft no it's actually a jelly donut!) But to put the cherry on top, he will share his food with you every day. You want a bite of his soy-glazed pork katsu? You can have two slices. Do the mung bean noodles look super tasty right now? Take the container, he won't miss it too much.

SUGAWARA

He really loves watching you eat. He's definitely the type to gaze into your eyes as you munch on your lunch, poking and prodding aimlessly at his own food as he watches you in a dazed state. It takes a couple tries to get him out of the state, but the battles not over yet because he's freaking out with embarrassment and blushing like crazy. He definitely likes it when you feed him to shut him up though, and he's one to savor the bite so he's groaning as he takes in all the flavors. He'll have a bit of rice stuck to the corner, so feel free to lean over the desk and kiss him there to remove it. While he eats, he tells you about what happened at club yesterday and gets so carried away he forgets to finish his lunch.

ASAHI

When he's with you, especially after being with you for a while, he's much calmer and less flustered. He's scared of looking intimidating whilst he eats, as he is hovering over the table with his larger physique. If your classmates didn't know better, they'd think he was picking on you. When he eats, he tends to stare into the food, concentrating as to not make a mess because he can be a bit clumsy at times. He'll strike up a conversation about class and things he's been up to, and if he gets carried away, he'll get very flustered, so you'll have to take his hands into yours to calm him down. He probably eats about twice more than the average person, but he shares it with you each time.

NISHINOYA

He's so hyper. He definitely eats just as much as Daichi and Asahi, but he saves room for his soda pops after practice. He'll probably bring a steamed bun from the local convenience store, but will steal about half your lunch. He'll make it up by buying you an ice cream, though. A lot of your lunch period is spent running around through the back of the school, him probably chasing you around with the goal to try and hug you, and he'll probably win. He'll show you his new receiving techniques if he has any, but after a while, he'll slow down and relax, sitting with you against the outside walls of the school building as he fiddles with your hair.

TANAKA

He will not bring lunch- or rather, he'll forget to bring it, so he'll ask you for some of your food. He's not complaining though, your food is so tasty he does it on purpose sometimes. However, if it's not on purpose, there are two options on what will happen: one, he eats your food, then goes out to get something to hold him over(of course, sharing with you) or two, Saeko speeds over and interrupts his english class to deliver his abandoned bento box. Either way, he's ok with it, even though he might be very flustered after the second. He likes it when you tease him, it gets him riled up. You come up with new ways after he figures out how to best the "I'm feeding you but I'm going to turn the food away at the last second" trick to keep him on his toes. Sometimes, you guys make a mess of yourselves and get in trouble, but it's so worth it if you had fun making said mess.

KAGEYAMA

He doesn't really eat lunch during school days. He's afraid that if he eats, he won't be in the best condition for practice. You worry about him a lot, even if it isn't much to worry about, but that's ok, because he totally listens to you no matter what. If you think he looks a bit winded, you will run out to grab him a milk and a steamed pork bun to keep him going, because it's never good to be underfed, even if it's for milk. You end up helping him find a good balance for his diet so that he can perform at his peak, and he has you to thank for his newfound stamina. He'll return the favor by buying you a treat or a bun after you stay after school until he ended practice. (He totally holds your hand on the way to the store looking like a tomato)

HINATA

Hinata eats, like, so much that you have to question if he has ever eaten as much as he weighs because he will totally do that. He's also pretty clumsy, so he tends to grab Natsu's lunch instead of his own when he's in a rush(probably because her lunch is wrapped in his old bento cloth). When he eats with you though, he's scarfing down food while speaking, chewing every so often. He'll talk about things like this: "and so *chew* I go BWAM and the ball flies down and goes BAP against the floor *chew chew* and Noya senpai runs and does the rolling thunder like ZOOM *swallows*" Hinata chokes often because of his habit of talking while eating, so keep some water by you just in case. He's unrefined, but you love that about him because he really doesn't have a care in the world when he's with you. At some point you have to teach him to swallow before talking, but for now, let him be a kid :)

TSUKISHIMA

Man does not eat with you unless you come over to eat with him. He appreciates it, but he thinks that coming to your classroom makes him look like a puppy and he has a sort of personality that he has to uphold. You don't mind, though, you know he has his reasons, and he does actually like it when you eat with him. He'll tease you while you eat, pretending to feed you and snatching the food right away(he totally brings dino nuggets every once in a while). You bring out the best in him, and the whole class can see it when he beams a genuine smile when you lunge at his food to get your revenge. Yamaguchi sits with you guys during lunch and you all talk about your days, though Tsukishima probably has his headphones on. Fortunately, out of respect for you, he only covers one ear so that he can hear your rambles about your english quiz.

YAMAGUCHI

HE IS LOYAL. HE WILL COME AS SOON AS THE BELL RINGS TO PLOP DOWN IN THE SEAT IN FRONT OF YOU. That being said, he is kind of timid so he peeks through the classroom door to make sure enough people have cleared out so that the room isn't too crowded. You two have this unspoken agreement who's going to who's classroom(you alternate) and whoever is moving goes gets a drink for the two of you, sometimes to share. If you come over, he likes to get up and get your chair for you. He'll pull it out so you can sit down, and push you back in. He'll talk about his jump float practice, and you'll talk about some random fact about your day. If you're in his room, you'll probably tease Tsukishima for being a loner type while Yamaguchi stifles his laughs. If he's in you're room, he'll speak much softer because he doesn't want to disturb anyone he doesn't know too well.

KIYOKO

You guys have a bench outside to yourselves as you eat. She eats very elegantly and offers you her food when she gets the chance. She'll talk fondly about the volleyball boys and how good Yachi has become as manager. You definitely watch her as she talks, how could you not, she's mesmerizing! Noya and Tanaka are definitely respectfully watching y'all behind a nearby structure. Sometimes during lunch, she's busy doing club stuff, but that's ok because you pop in once in a while to see if she's taking care of herself.

YACHI

Oh she's so flustered at the beginning of the relationship. She loves you, don't get her wrong, but she's constantly worrying if she's doing something wrong(ie. eating with her mouth open, choking). You reassure her for a while, but after she gets used to it, she becomes much more comfortable eating around you. She'll share her food which is really pretty/cute 85% of the time. She gets super flustered if you try to feed her, but she when she tries to feed you she'll be ecstatic, high even. She'll bring a small snack for you to share and soon you reciprocate the gesture, so lunch time is a guaranteed fun and relaxing time.

KEISHIN

He does not eat with you, or rather, he'd much rather watch you eat while he smokes his cigarette. If he takes this route, this will be the series of events: he smokes, you eat, you scold him for smoking more than twice within the hour, he groans and stifles the cigarette and joins you for lunch, he leans in to kiss you, you kiss, you make an exaggerated face at the way he tastes. If he joins you off the bat, he sits right next to you and makes it impossible to eat with him. He loves you though, so he will end up releasing you... only to steal your food. You have to chase him around the store for him to give it back, but once he does, he'll steal a kiss and wrap you in his strong arms, pressing his lips against your hair.

TAKEDA

THIS MAN. IS SO CUTE. So he doesn't always have time to eat with you, being a teacher and all, but when he does, he will literally prepare you a full meal. His nose will be buried in a cookbook trying to cook 5 things at once. When you find him, you grin and run up to him and hug him from behind. He'll be startled, so announce yourself please. You end up helping him with his meal prep and setting the table. When you eat, he'll gush about the volleyball team and his students that have grown in the past couple months. He loves talking to you so much that he will forget to eat for a couple minutes. Sometimes, he'll surprise you with a larger than life picnic basket, rushing you out of the house to take you out to the local park on a cute picnic date.

Author’s Note 2: Please be reminded that this fanfic is Modern! AU and Highschool! AU and none of this are canons to the actual lore of Genshin Impact. I do not own Genshin Impact nor the characters that belong in the game!

Synopsis: You were a graduating high school student who somehow got involved in unfortunate events and transferred to another school, Teyvat International School. Due to your “complicated” physical features, you became the main target of the school’s “bully”, Kamisato Ayato! Together with his friends, Diluc Ragnvindr, Tartaglia, and Arataki Itto.

"This is your schedule," said the man who calls himself Mr. Zhongli.

"and this is your section,” said the woman who calls herself Ms. Ei.

I was inches away from walking out of the headmaster’s room when my hand was grabbed by Ms. Ei. "One second Miss L/N, before you leave. Last time I saw you... You were quite... Small. You're so grown up right now, you look like your mother" she gave me a reassuring smile but... Ms. Ei saw me as a child?

"H-hold on, Ms. Ei? You know my mother?—" Maybe curiosity does kill the cat when I was pushed away by Mr. Venti from the office by saying something similar to me knowing "enough".

It's around 1-2 hours before your first class starts so I assume everyone is on their break time. (I have the time of the world to explore this enormous school) you thought closing your eyes walking and entering the cafeteria.

To your surprise, the school was offering different kinds of food from different countries starting from Mondsadt to Khaenriah. What caught your eye was the Katsu Sandwich and Onigiris, specialties from Inazuma since there is no better in this world other than sandwiches! You wondered how are you going to make friends when... You really feel awkward right now... Everyone is staring at you, after all, you are the rumored nerdy girl in the school. They haven't seen someone new for ages ago because it's an expensive international school. Only people who come from high statuses family can afford this kind of place to study.

"Please state your name," the lady in front of me said before handing me my sandwich and rice balls.

"U-Umm. Y-Y/N... L/N" you said awkwardly because you can feel some of the eyes around staring at you. Very much oblivious to the pair of lilac eyes who only had his attention on you ever since you entered this hall.

"H-how much was it?" You were nervous! You don't know how this school works and you can't believe you're already embarrassing yourself just because you're hungry, tainting your first impression image.

"M-miss L/N?! You're an L/N!" She paid her respects to you by bowing her head down before lifting it up again.

"I-is there something wrong with my surname... Miss?" What just happened? Why was she surprised that I came from the L/N Family?

"Miss L/N, don't worry... You won't be paying for any of the foods and beverages here in the school. I'm pretty sure you already knew why" No I don't! Miss whoever-you-are-cashier... You're having so many thoughts about what's happening until someone tapped your shoulders making you look back to who was it.

"You're the new student right?" She's quite short and has blonde hair and yellow eyes.

"O-oh! My apologies, My name is Lumine and you're?"

"Y-Y/N... L/N" you said processing that you're actually making a new friend at this school.

"Follow me, let's eat together before our classes start," She said happily with her eyes closed and I followed her

"Lumine, stop right there. Just who do you think you are?" This is the same woman you saw earlier with the man who intentionally tripped you.

"I-I don't think we know each other..."

"Yes, a commoner like you doesn't need to know who I am," she said while rolling her eyes. "Oh, do you know why I'm here? I'm returning this bowl of ramen because I don't want it"

...

She just poured the hot bowl of ramen all over you from head to toe. It was piping hot that you could feel your skin burning. You could hear the whispers of the other students.

Maybe Lady Miko doesn't like her at all?

What a trash!

She deserves it for crossing paths with her.

Maybe Lady Miko noticed how her suitor, Ayato was staring at her?

Oh, you're right!

"That's not very nice of you Miko," Lumine said and started to wipe your body with her handkerchief.

"L-lumine it's okay, I'll just go to the bathroom," you said.

"Oops... I thought this was the trash can. Go off, Lumine. You don't need to help that trash, you by all people should know she isn't welcome here. What happened to our dear top students? Perhaps you had a change of heart?" She said then walked towards the man who tripped you earlier.

"Are you alright?" Someone approached you from the back and wrapped his hands around your shoulders. It was a tall red-head man, based on his looks, he expresses a very cold personality.

"D-diluc!" Lumine's eyes widened when she saw the man intervening with the scene Guuji Yae made.

"Bring her to the clinic for me, Lumine, thank you," He said and proceeded to hand you over to her.

Great, first day on this school then this happened. You wonder what else could go wrong after this. You came across the same said man and overheard their conversation.

"That's so awesome Miko~," said the man who owns a pair of lilac eyes.

"So when are you going to say yes about me being your boyfriend? I've been chasing you for 3 years now.. you know" He held her hand and kissed it.

"A-ayato- y-you know that's a little too early! W-we're still studying you know..." Said Yae Miko who's now all red and a little flustered.

"What's with them Lumine?" Yeah, what's with the both of them. They seem to dislike you that much by tripping you over and then pouring a hot bowl of ramen on your whole body.

"It's the power couple of the school! Kamisato Ayato and Guuji Yae" Lumine said with her eyes gleaming like the stars. "Kamisato Ayato has been chasing Guuji Yae for almost 3 years now! But everyone sees them as the power couple because no one seems to court Guuji Yae out of fear since Kamisato Ayato confessed his love for her! It's like they're already in a relationship even if Guuji Yae hasn't said yes to him" She added.

"Maybe Miko got mad at you because her suitor was staring at you since you came in here." Ayato was staring at you? But why would she get mad and hurt you physically just by all that?

"Looks like your little Miko got a little jealous when she noticed you've been staring at the new girl~"

"Why would she be jealous, Childe?" Ayato finally faced Childe who was behind him giving him a smug face.

"Oh~ probably because you had your eyes towards another girl? Hm?" He added

"She's ugly— huge glasses, thick eyebrows, and a messy hair bun. She's like a girl who can't even do simple makeup" Ayato said annoyingly to the ginger head.

"No she's not, she's... quite amazing" A short response coming from the one and only Diluc Ragnvindr.

"Yeah what the hell was that? Diluc?"

"Childe, you know, he's starting to act cool around the new girl since this man never had a girlfriend," Ayato said provoking Diluc.

"Why did you tell Miko to pour that bowl of Ramen at her? Ayato for god's sake! We're already graduating, I'm pretty sure you don't want to do something that would expel you from this school even if the Kamisato Family has its own shares in this school? What would your sister say if she finds out her brother is bullying someone again? I'm very delighted to know what her reaction would be once she gets to know her brother broke his promise" Diluc said while looking into Ayato's eyes. No signs of compassion were seen on his own and walked away from the school rooftop.

"He actually has a point, you did promise your sister you wouldn't do anything crazy again in your last year of high school... Maybe it's best if you just stop right now. You wouldn't know what the future would give you. Only god knows if the moment you saw her, you fell in love with her? Hm?" Childe said and followed Diluc downstairs.

"Fall in love with a trash like her? Plus I didn’t tell her to do it, she poured the ramen all by herself” Ayato leaned towards the balcony of the school’s rooftop.

“What’s with her anyway? Where did she have the courage to answer me as if she didn’t know who am I? She even had the nerve to call me an inconvenience” He added while staring at this so-called girl coming out of the clinic with Lumine.

(Annoying, very annoying. I’m sorry Ayaka, promises are always meant to be broken. Might as well enjoy this last piece of entertainment given to me by the gods) He thought and ran downstairs to follow his friends.

“Ayato is evil! Don’t be bewitched by his looks Y/N!” Lumine said while holding my burnt hand that is now wrapped with bandages.

“He has been known to push people to their limits until their human body can no longer handle it and decided to transfer back again to their local high school... and it looks like you were his new target... Stay strong Y/N... I believe in you... We never had any new students ever again because of him, no one dared to report it because he is from a rich family. Money can sometimes buy everything you know? That’s why he always gets away with it” Lumine said cheering me up with her fists clenched.

“Whatever he is, I am strong so he can come at me anytime he wants and he will fail miserably. All I have to do is hurt his little ego~.” You said while smirking at Lumine as if you have an evil plan on your mind.

“Scary Y/N! Kyaah!” she said as she tries to run away from you.

“I’m just joking Lumine~,” you said and the two of you laughed together as you return to your classrooms for your classes.

“My name is Y/N L/N” you bowed down in front of your class.

“Now Miss L/N, you may sit on that vacant space next to Mr. Kamisato” Ei smirked at you as if she knew what was between the two of you. Was there really something between you and Ayato? You’re pretty sure that there was none because all he did for the rest of the day is trip you off him and ordered his girlfriend to pour down a bowl of ramen at you.

“Ms. Ei, I refuse to oblige with her sitting beside me” The man raised his hand with a confused look.

“Why is that Ayato? Is there something wrong with a new student sitting beside you?” Ms. Ei gave him a serious look, hinting that he’ll be in trouble if he deny her request since he is her student.

“I... don’t have anything against...her.” Ayato didn’t have a choice but to agree since he saw the glare that Ei gave him.

“If he doesn’t want her sitting beside him then I’ll gladly accept her as my seatmate, Ms. Ei” Diluc raised his hand for his request which made Ei a little happy because she needs to watch over Iliya’s daughter (A/N: Iliya is the name of Y/N’s mother!)

“N-no! I’m very fine with her sitting beside me, no need for her to sit beside Diluc!” Ayato shouted as if he was in a rush before the final decision was made and the whole class is now staring at him because of the words that came out of him.

What?

Y/N is gonna be so dead if Guuji Yae was our classmate-

Suddenly, Ayato wants a trash like her to sit beside him?

Didn’t Diluc save her from embarrassment when Guuji Yae poured down that hot bowl of ramen?

She’s not even beautiful compared to Guuji Yae, she’s a nerd ugly piece of trash

The first day of school and now she’s being a whore towards Ayato and Diluc, what a SLUT-

“ENOUGH!” Ei slammed down the blackboard eraser averting the attention of the students at her.

“Y/N, kindly sit beside Ayato whether he likes it or not”

“O-okay” You agreed with her and walked towards the seat next to his. You could feel your classmates gaze upon you as if they wanted to crush you down.

“I guess you’ll have to see me every now and then for the whole school year. I’m Y/N and this is the first time we ever talk to each other properly” You said giving him a peace sign.

“Ayato, and I don’t like you” He answered you without even looking at you, he just kept staring at the window. Out of curiosity, you also leaned at the window having you and his body near each other.

“You like her right?” You asked him but you didn’t receive any replies from him.

(Tsk... She has a strawberry scent, I thought poor people can’t afford to enroll at a school like this?) He thought to himself completely disgusted at you.

Class hours ended before you even knew it and you met an unexpected girl while you were fixing your things at your locker.

“I heard what Miko did to you earlier~”

“No one can snatch Ayato from her”

“I don’t know about snatching someone from her, please leave me alone,” You said without turning your back and proceeded to go downstairs when-

You just got pushed downstairs by the girl talking to you. You’ve been feeling pain from your back to your legs- did you just sprain yourself?

(That really hurts) You thought to yourself.

The girl who was talking to you followed you downstairs slowly until she finally reached you and leaned toward you.

“Poor thing, this is what happens when you fight back against Miko,” she said.

“Y-You! You pushed me down the stairs!” You grabbed her by the collar and slapped her so hard that her face reddened.

“H-how dare you to touch my face!” She screamed that made you worried a little because people are going to look at the mess you got yourself again for the third time in one day.

“S-sara what’s wrong?!” A man showed up, he probably came from one of the rooms, perhaps her classmate. He has white long hair and looks like a gangster?

“YOU!” he grabbed you by your hair.

“S-she slapped me Itto-” Sara whined at him and showed him her reddened face.

“HOW DARE YOU SLAP HER! Let go of her collar Ugly Shit!” You let go of her collar as you could feel your hair and scalp separating from each other. Other than that you also have a sprained ankle you need to worry about.

“E-enough Itto-” Sara begged and he finally let go of his hand to your hair.

“I’ll get back at you for slapping her. Ride by back Sara, I’ll carry you to the clinic” He gave Sara a piggyback ride and left you alone at the staircase.

“Need help?” A familiar voice ranged through the hallway.

“D-diluc?! N-no! I didn’t mean to slap-” Your voice was cut off by him placing his index finger on your lips.

“You’re very much hurt right now and it would be inappropriate for me if I wouldn’t help you right? Don’t worry Y/N I heard everything and your secrets are safe with me” Without hesitating, he carried you in a bridal manner. Your face reddens as you get closer to his face giving you the chance to admire him.

“D-diluc! What will the other students say if they saw us here?”

“What would they say anyway? I’m going to bring you to the hospital and not the clinic you know? You’ll meet Sara and Itto there and I don’t want to leave you alone with them. Only god knows if those injuries would worsen.” He smiled at you and proceeded to walk in the school’s corridors.

You closed your eyes while he was walking with a straight face as the two of you overheard the murmurs of the other student. They are definitely talking about the two of you.

This is new...

I’ve never seen Diluc carry a girl.

I want to have my ankle sprain too so I can get carried by him!

The two of you walked down to the parking area of the school. Diluc helped you get in his car and then drove you to the school’s hospital to treat you for your injuries.

Not being aware of the same lilac eyes that always had his attention on you since the very start of the day. He watches you from afar being carried like a bride by his best friend as he carefully brings you inside. Ayato is truly wondering about what he’s feeling right now about you and Diluc.

you stared in awe at the steel that winked at you under the showcase lights it sat below- chanting a repetitive ‘buy me! buy me!’ with every passing second. you can’t help but imagine how good your boyfriend would look with his hands wrapped around the new mixing bowl you would give him. you knew just how much he longed for a new mixing bowl from that particular brand he had been a fan of and you were simply more than ecstatic to present him with it for your first anniversary.

one year.

you could feel a smile canon-balling onto your face at the thought of your one-year anniversary coming up, how could you not? he had never been sweeter to you ever since the day he pushed a box of onigiri into your hands, with a sticky note blushing along with him. he showered you with food he would put effort into making, sometimes even showing up to school with a hint of flour kissing his cheeks just to give you the strawberry puff you told him you liked so much.

you just couldn’t wait to see his awestruck reaction that he would hold once you hand him his new whisk along with the set of baking materials. you could already imagine his smile contrasting against the sky just before the sun dips into the horizon and radiate the mixture of pink, purple and orange flames onto the wandering field of dandelions: one where you would end the day with a kiss to seal the date.

your thoughts whisked you away to cloud nine as you ran into the store to purchase the gift you had set your mind on, your hand latching onto the door handle. then, you saw him.

you saw miya osamu’s reflection on the glass door of the shop, with his brooding shoulder and his uniform locked onto his body, he was quite hard to miss. a familiar posture stood beside him as they chatted while looking into the windows of the stores they passed by.

‘guess he’s just asking for some advice from them’ you wondered, after all, it was your one-year anniversary with him and it would be as special to him as it meant to you. you smiled at the sight of them actually bonding and getting along well- maybe too much for your liking but you knew osamu would hate it if you talked about it.

‘they look good together.’ a fleeting thought passed through your head as you stared at the two, who were beaming smiles at each other as they laughed at possibly anything there could be.

then, it was only a brief moment where you had blinked, only to witness a change of scenes unfold rapidly in front of your eyes. the two people you had come to cherish and love, held in each other’s embrace, sharing a passionate kiss.

you froze.

you froze for the next few minutes as you proceeded to watch them act like a couple- or maybe they were one after all- ignoring everyone around them as they stared into each other’s eyes like nothing else existed in the world. osamu’s eyes had never shined brighter, almost resembling that of a moon, as he gazed at the person that leaned onto him- the one he truly loved. you could almost see the sparkles that lit up his features, his smile more radiant than the glowing sun.

you still couldn’t comprehend the sight in front of you, a range of emotions fled into your mind with every movement they made. you were drowning in a sea of emotions they had thrown you into: betrayal, sadness, anger. the emotions made you stay in a state of shock until the tears you didn’t know you were holding back cascaded down your cheeks.

you knew it would be a huge scene if you had started to yell in the middle of the bustling supermarket, and perhaps destroying other people’s day as you did so. you did not wish for that, especially when the two people that had stood in front of you were no longer worth anything to you- they were truly just meant to be mere strangers in your life.

so with the remaining strength, you had left, you made an effort to wipe the tears you wished not to show them, as you approached the couple that still had each other in a warm embrace.

it wasn’t long before they had noticed you, obvious panic flashing in their eyes as they looked at each other for an explanation. yet, you had more than enough for the day, you were tired to listen to what lies they had to spit- the lies that you had believed so blindly as you placed your trust onto them.

‘it isn’t what it looks like y/n.’ miya attempted.

you struggled to give them an honest smile, just to end whatever you had left with them with a smile.

‘i know it is what it looks like miya, i just came to say goodbye.’

you walked away with the last words you had muttered out, your voice slightly shaking despite the courageous demeanor you had built. you could hear the voice of the person you had once loved so much chasing after you, yelling at you to stop and hear him explain.

‘ i love you y/n.’ he finally shouted.

you halted, almost changing your mind at the very words you were weak to.

‘no. no, you don’t miya.’

Part Four: Chance Encounters

You were the most beautiful girl Suna had ever seen. When he saw you that first day of school it was like the clouds in his normally dreary day parted and he could feel the sun. You weren’t in the same class much to his dismay. That didn’t stop the middle blocker from searching for your face in the crowds of the halls or the cafeteria. Though it was rare he stilled catch some glimpses. In those moments a war waged in his mind part of him wanted to go introduce himself, he wanted to know your name. To just be around you. But another side of his brain forbid that. Stating that he was fine were he was he would just interrupt your day. What would he even say to you. Hi I’m Suna I’ve been watching you since the first and even though I know next to nothing about you I can’t get you out of my head..... yeah no. He’d just sit back and wait for opportunity to knock. Suna curses himself for his laziness. He can’t describe how his heart stop the day his friend brought you to practice and introduce you as his girlfriend.

Though he kept his composure he felt as though the air was stolen from his lungs. This is the closesest he had ever to been to you and it was overwhelming to say the least. You stood there at Atsumu’s side smiling and greeting the team memebers and when your attention drew to Suna he realized his favorite thing about you was your eyes. You beautiful (e/c) eyes shown with so much light and happiness. When you smiled you smiled with your eyes, always getting this cute little crinkle. He shook his head at these feelings. You were taken and by one of his friends no less.

From that moment on you presence was always close by joining the boys for lunch or stopping by practice with little snacks you had made the team. Suna almost resents how easy he gets along with you. How simple it is to fall into a banter with you. He hates how calming it is when you’d sit next to him and laugh as you showed him some meme. He wanted to be annoyed with you ever time you’d put your foot down and insist he let you wrap his finger after a bad block. But he couldn’t you were just such a caring person. He’d try and give you some petty insults, maybe if he caused a rift between the two of you he’d feel better, maybe then if there was more space between you he’d feel less guilty for always being enraptured by you. But you’d always snap back with something just as clever or petty. You could go toe to toe in trading insults but both of you knew neither of you meant it. You’d always break out into that breathtaking smile after a few rounds of back and forth. He realized soon that he’d much rather keep you in his life as a friend even if he could never have you because at least he’d still see that smile. At least as your best friend he’d still see your eyes shine bright and he could take a small pleasure in knowing he brought some of that happiness.

“You need to calm down,” Suna turned to see Osamu taking the seat on the bench next to him.

Suna's hands run through his hair gripping the roots in frustration as he let out a yell.

“How the fuck am I supposed to be calm, she could be hurt or missing, and that ass is just sitting there! Two weeks! Lord knows what could have happened by now.” Hes shaking part of him wants to go back up and give Atsumu a few more licks but he knows no good will come from it.

“YN is a grown woman and she’s smart and strong and you know damn well she’d bitch you out right now for thinking she couldn’t handle herself,” the former ace chuckled.

“I’d much rather her here bitching cause at least then she’d be here,” he groaned rubbing his hand down his legs trying to let out some of his nerves. “Did you know?” He asked the grey haired twin.

Samu gave his quick glare of offense. “Absolutely not believe me if I’d known I would have been the one to deck him , you just beat me to it.”

“The last i heard from her was her birthday, maybe if I’d had stopped by and brought the Onigiri myself I could have been there for her,” he sighs.

“We’ll find her don’t worry,” his friend pats his back, “and then you can finally confess,”he smiles.

“I’m that obvious huh,” he sighed.

Samu let a loud laugh “ OH PLEASE we all knew, well maybe not YN she can be kinda blind ya’know,”

Suna shook his head laughing. He has to see you.

They returned home today from nationals. The loss to Karasuno was really starting to sink in now that was Suna was home sitting in his room alone the house quiet. He laid there berating himself for balls he failed to block. If I had just done better maybe my team would still be playing. Maybe - he was disrupted from his thoughts by the chime of the door bell. His parents were out of town this weekend. They had assumed like many Inarizaki would still be out in Tokyo fighting for first place. It was fine though Suna was used to being alone. But that just confused him more as he made his way to the door. Who could possibly be here. All he can say is he’d never except to open the door and see you standing there. Like always you stole his breath away.

“What yer not gunna let me in,” you teased “and to think I brought you snacks!” He just realized now she was carrying a grocery bag that looked pretty heavy.

“Give me that ya Dummy,” he said taking away the snacks, he stepped to the side allowing her entry.

“I figured you were hungry, but try to save me some,” she giggled. Suna just rolled his eyes as she took a seat on his couch.

“What are you doing here?” He questioned taking his seat beside her making sure to leave a respectable distance. Though he wants nothing more than to hold you close. He dismisses the thought as he rummages threw the goodies waiting for your response. He smiles seeing the package of milk bread you bought. He took it out and tossed it to you knowing it was your favorite. You smile and give a slight nod as a thank you.

“I figured you wouldn’t want to be alone after the game, I know your probably thinking a whole bunch of nonsense right now aren’t ya?” She looked at him with a solem but knowing look. He cursed how well you knew him. Seeing as he had been doing just that before your arrival. His heart squeezed at the thought of you wanting to comfort him. It almost gives him a slight hope. What about Atsumu, he lost that game too.

“Why aren’t you with you boyfriend, he’s probably taking it harder than me,” he asks knowing he might ruin this little fantasy he has here with you. He sees a sad look cross your face at the mention of the setter. It’s not a look Suna wants to keep seeing.

“You’re right about that, Tsmu’s having a tough go of it,” she gave a soft smile. “But he said he didn’t want my pity and asked I leave,” Suna could see your eyes get a little glassy thinking back to the conversation.

“He’s an Ass.” The middle blocker states plainly.

“He’s just got a lot of emotions right now and wants his space, it’s okay.” But Suna can see your hurt. He knows it wont do any good to keep talking about it.

“His loss, now I get all of the snacks,” pulling out a bag of chips. “Want to watch a movie?”

That’s how the evening went the both of you curled up on the couch Suna had brought down some pillows and blankets and he wouldn’t lie he loved seeing you wrapped in his comforter. You went on and on about this anime you started and you nearly died when he agreed to let you show it to him, pumping your fist in the air going off about your favorite character and how he’s totally going to love him. Suna looks over at you and your wearing the biggest smile eyes wide with joy. This is will always be his favorite moment he thinks.

He’s right that moment still sticks out in his mind. He has plenty of great memories but that one right there is his favorite. He’s been thinking back on a lot of his memories of you lately.

It’s been seven months since your birthday and no one in your former circle new anything about where you were. You hadn’t talked to anyone. Your number was no longer in service and all of you socials have gone silent.

After a couple of days of looking for you Suna was ready to go to the Police and report you missing, ready to call every hospital and pray you are safe. At this point that’s all that matters to him. He can’t bare to think about anything bad happening to you but it’s hard to keep his mind out of the dark place. Osamu was the one to stop him. Luckily they had gotten in touch with their former captain and while Kita was sorry to hear about the situation and very disappointed in his junior for his actions. Every one was upset with Atsumu for his actions. Kita was gladly willing to help in the search. Still being in their home town he was able to pay your parents a quick visit. And while he was happy he could inform them both that your parents had heard from you the other day so your fine. That was all your parents could tell him, stating that you had requested to keep your privacy not wanting to talk to anyone. So while they knew the biggest detail they still knew nothing.

It hurt Suna the most. How could you just cut him off like that. You were the most important person to him how could you not know that. He fretted. He knows your hurting but why did you have to cut all of them off most importantly him. Part of him was so incredibly angry how could you not even say goodbye to him. Did his friendship really mean that little to you. But another part of him understood that he couldn’t possibly know what you are going through. All he knew is how much he missed your smiling eyes. He would give everything to see you again.
