I did want to make this blanket big enough to cover my bed, but I've been working on it for over 2 months now, and it's big enough for a lap blanket for the sofa and I'm happy with that
The next time I want to make a big blanket, I am going to do it in 4 pieces and sew it together!

Another Prism Block Stitch blanket, this time in cheerful autumn colours! I’m surprised at how much I like this variation on Granny Squares. This may be my go-to for using up stash yarn!
Yarns are Red Heart Soft in “Toast”, and Premier Sweet Roll in “Butterscotch Pop” (discontinued).
(12-inch squares with Q hook, 3-color Tunisian technique with yarn held in 2-3 strands. Makes a nice squishy drape-y fabric that will turn a whole trash bag’s worth of hoarded yarns into a wonderfully heinous blanket!)

Preventing the scratching on the floor with this crochet project. The idea is simple enough to help save the floors. The length of the sleeve for the cozies is really a personal choice.

When you have those men in your life that are so hard to gift for, this is the scarf you need. It tucks into a jacket easily, knits up quickly, and has just enough function to look like you have gone over and above for the gift.
Scarf with a slot to hold the end of it in place
You will need:– 4-5 balls of yarn (250-300gm) depending on length of scarf required– 5mm knitting needles– Darning…

A library acquaintance asked for some boot toppers, Norwegian-style. I don't always take up a request like that but these seems like an interesting challenge.
Borrowed this British Isle design from an old James Norbury book and I'm working on my own design. I think it will suit. Of course I'm thinking of pulling out the Norwegian designs next 😀, maybe from the same book.
Fabric balls make for great toys and can be used for stimming, too. You can make them in any size and out of pretty much any fabric you've got lying around.
Check out this tutorial by Heather Handmade to see how to sew your own ball.

Unfortunately, those plans are unexpectedly sabotaged when Steff wakes up the next morning to a horrible surprise.
