Many bugs find The Chosen Vessel... unsettling. Wrong. They usually pin it up to the fact that it is a construct, created not born, but it still doesn't ease their minds when they are forced to face it.

♚ // Last gate event

The last gate needs to be found. After the students failed to open it the headmaster asked some external people to find it. With the help of several forces we arrived at the second to last gate and it is up to some brave students to reach the last gate.

WHERE ARE WE? An underwater, run-down facility. Location is unknown but it is dark and there is danger at every corner it seems. 

GOAL: Finding the last gate.

TEAM 1: @namjoon-ia, @tulipe-ia & @inguk-ia

The big team goes North, and at one point finds themselves in a dark part of the underwater labyrinth with crazed androids that think you are a threat. They try to destroy you. Though behind them seems to lay a treasure (a stackpile of gemstones and gold) will you flee or try to get the riches?

TEAM 2: @nari-ia, @mymy-ia

This girl team goes West, finding themselves in a large area that seems mostly dry and once used for primary functions. Though when one person presses a strange button, the room closes and starts to fill up with water, what will you do?

TEAM 3: 

@jungjinwoo-ia & @lucas-ia

These boys go South and find themselves in a literal maze, there is electricty going through the wet corridors so it is dangerous and it seems like the spirits of an unidentified race are haunting the halls.

WHO FINDS THE DOOR FIRST? 

ONE team needs to find the last gate first (which is a para of +10 reblogs where the storyline above is explored and then the gate is found. Please contact admin when you finished. When and if this happens I can release the new race.

Some comments below:

1) I imagine not always all the vessels are present, which results in the PV growing and shrinking.

2) Surely someone had to walk in on the vessels just chilling, no one really did anything as the retainers don't know almost anything about The Vessel and they do not dare to question The King (even tho the king also doesn't know shit) so you know? Multiple Pure Vessels? This could just as well happen. (well i mean they're not wrong?)

3) pretty sure after a while others would believe immediately, seeing the weirdness of The Vessel

4) the siblings after some time stopped really giving a shit what's happening around them, they're not really hiding much anymore as long as no one snitches on them to the king (as if the king would believe anyone)

5) callback to one of the previous comics, retainers worry that Hornet will meet the same fate as all the random children that The Vessel has pulled in before. All they really know is that PV has been walking around and consuming abandonded children along the way (as they don't know the children are vessels as well), which later may show up as one of the masks/faces of The Vessel. Nightmare fuel for them, I guess.

Basically for the retainers and other bugs of Hallownest The Vessel is some kind of a demon-like being and they're not even sure if the king has any control over it, despite being his creation. lol

1-2. [They fell over and can't get up.] The Vessel has truly taken so much after their Father. The resemblance is uncanny. So much that the royal retainers take many precautions before interacting with it in fear of it devouring them.

3-4.I don’t think I’ll let them grow up to their “prime forms” as it would be just even more ridiculous and there would be no way in hell they would fit inside the black egg lmao
