The absolute murderous look in Eugene's eyes when he sees the Stabbingtons because of what they've done to Rapunzel.

I discovered today that there is nothing on AO3 featuring Rapunzel and the Stabbingtons as a ship and so I may have to explore this idea myself. Imagine Rapunzel tenderly holding Eyepatch's cheek and stroking his hair to soothe him from a nightmare. Imagine Sideburns showing her his softer side? Imagine them meeting by chance after they discover the tower while on the run and Rapunzel, who is feeling lonely and curious about these people, lets down her hair despite her mother's teachings, and discovers that men do not all have pointy teeth and there's so much more to the world outside than she knows? Imagine Eyepatch and Pascal doing silent communication, maybe they teach Rapunzel and Pascal sign language? Imagine them coming back over the years and finally taking her away with them after she had a particularly bad day and just wanted to experience Outside, just once in her life? Imagine them giving up crime for her and bringing her to the city and Rapunzel finding out who she is and them being pardoned? Imagine them as her two boyfriends?

Or, if you wanna angst, imagine after knowing them for years, instead of "who's that", she actually calls out to them with their real names and Flynn Rider is like "No, no, no, those are Bad People" and she's torn between wanting to go to her friends and staying with her Guide, who is very insistent that they avoid the Stabbingtons and when they meet later they try to convince Rapunzel that Flynn was never going to bring her back home and that she would be safer with them and then Gothel goes "wtf, this was not in the plan" before attacking them. Imagine them breaking out with Eugene and going to the tower to help save Rapunzel. Imagine her bringing them all home with her and the crown. Imagine them actually apologizing to each other at her insistence. Imagine them all being her boyfriends and bodyguards?

As a bonus, imagine Rapunzel meeting them before Eyepatch loses his eye and tongue (which I hc the Baron did to him after Flynn threw them under the carriage after a failed mission and Eyepatch protested by punching Flynn) and she's horrified to find out what happened to him and is torn between revealing her powers to heal him or not but realizes that if he somehow is all healed up when he returns, the bad man that hurt him would find out about her powers and also she doesn't know if she can replace missing body parts.

I just think it's a neat rarepair.
