How Dare I

The problem is..

I want to make you my whole world, while I want to be your world.

But it's insane to idolize an individual as your world when Christ has purposely put many love ones in your life to prevent idolization.

I want to pull you in a world where it is just you and I...

But it's selfish of me to want these things at all times....

I want it!

But I can't have it at all times...I shouldn't!

Because Christ has made you a being to the world, not just for me.

He has brighten your light so bright for the world to receive God's gift from you.

I breathe in the pain while swallowing my anger...

I CAN'T be angry because of my lack of support & lack of community.

How dare I capture you into a room forcing you to be All the Things that are missing in my life!

How dare I expect you to fulfill a hole, I mean a role, that is meant for family-ship & friendship, & not an US-ship.

So, I relieve you of the roles.

I relieve you of the expectations & the things that has nothing to do with you!

...I release you.

While I find the proper beings that are needed to make me feel whole again:

-My personal group

-My community

-My love ones

-and My God

how should I start this?

should I start from the very first time that our eyes meet or should i keep this straight forward to the time where you have let go of my hand?

or maybe i must start this to the first time that you smiled at me

do you remember the time when you started taking to me as if we’ve known each other for a long time. as if you know my favorite color or my favorite time of the day. as if you know my favorite movie or my favorite song. those times, i see things slightly in a different ground.

remember the time when we exchanged lines like "how are you?" "what’s up?" "how’s your day?", lines with no ends. lines of the two souls, wandering and roaming at 3 o cock in the morning, lines where there’s no limitations, and lines that didn’t know how to sleep. I bet my lines were kinda amazed by you 'cause she knew how sleepyhead i was..

I didn’t recognize that i get used to it until your lines became the lines that i have always wanted to read. until your lines always came across my mind and it goes down accelerating my blood through my heart. your lines that took me to wander around during the late darkest night. i didn’t care. i even did not care about the lines of my best friends who keep on telling , “be careful, m” ,  “be aware of what you feel 'cause we both know how what might happen” those were the lines of my best friends that i ignore. i simply smiled at them, reassuring them that i’m gonna be happy, and i’m gonna take the risk

and here comes the cold lines, implying something. the lines that you didn’t bother to say what it truly means. then another cold line came, but i kept mine in the same invigorating way. i kept my lines jolly in hope that it might change yours. but confusion surfaced from those lines. maybe i already knew, i just didn’t believe what i knew cause i kept on coming back to the lines that i fell in love with.

your lines became poison to my heart and my lines became dark

shall i start now with the time when you said "thank you," while i end it with a "goodbye."

The Hot Head

I’m so tired of being the bad guy

The one that has to explain their actions

The one that’s known for the reactions

And causes no satisfaction

I’m am the queen of irritation

The hot head

I’m so tired of being the “child”

Instead of the adult

I act wild and impulsive

I’m explosive

No care for the surrounding

The obnoxious

I am the furious

Black woman

I am so tired

Of compromising

My mental state

To relate

To one that’s not

Responsible

The unreliable

Yet I have to

Adjust my attitude

Because I’m rude

I’m loud

I’m belligerent

I’m stern

I’m forward

I’m ignorant

But how is that so if I’m honest

Where’s my respect

This world still works

In the context of

“Make the other guy feel comfortable”

Fuck my comfort, I guess

I must mold myself

To be sociably accepted

Disguise myself

And later regret it

Fake attitudes

Fake words

“My real”

Will be dead

For I am

Nothing more than
