Alex's stage dooring update

In short: He's not going to any more.

Longer answer: During his live signing today he was asked if he is going to stage door for Spamalot. He said he isn't, and he doesn't plan on doing the stage door again. He may come out a door and say hi, thank you, etc, but that's it. He said that 1) he is trying to keep a better balance for himself, and 2) he mentioned that some "fans" don't know how to be good fans. He didn't go into many details but said that he's been grabbed and physically turned around by "fans". Basically some people are disrespectful assholes (my words, not his) who don't understand social etiquette, personal space or that actors are people too. They're people who don't owe you anything more than what they've given in a performance; that stopping to sign autographs or agree to photos is just a bonus that they're not obligated to do.

It is shitty that some people ruin it for all others, but I respect him setting boundaries that work for him. Just like we all should!

In a slightly different vein, he trimmed his beard and it looks so good...!
