THIS. IS. WONDERFUL ❤️❤️❤️ *creates bookmark with gusto* I LOVE that you dug into what it might have been like for Gwen while she was under that enchantment! It was so creative to have her past memories blurring with glimpses of the present during the enchantment. I *felt* her disorientation, and it *hurt*. I felt so bad for Gwen all over again! 😭😭😭 That aspect of this story could have been a fantastic standalone one-shot in its own right, but noooo, you raised the bar and KEPT GOING and made it even better!!! I love that you showed Gwen and Merlin staying friends after Gwen becomes queen, and I love how she confides in him and how he immediately drops everything to go look for the offending piece of jewelry. The bit about Arthur’s incredulity at Merlin’s method of testing the enchantment was a great dash of humor, and I love that you fleshed out the concept of the enchantment to be something the others could experience so that they could truly *know* that Gwen had been innocent. And don’t even get me started on how much I love Arthur’s “Forgive me.” I love how he doesn’t think twice about humbling himself in front of everyone because his focus is solely on Gwen, consumed by the urgency of doing the right, honorable, and loving thing in that moment. Part Three: Dashed Hopes

You loved bunking with Mary, she was always so full of life - dragging you into TikToks one after the other, playing pranks and joking around; she didn’t realise she was giving you so much confidence the more you hung out with her. Laying on your beds she was busy editing your latest dance when Rachel knocked on the door. Rolling over to face the window so you didn’t have to look at her she showed Mary something on her phone “I thought we could do this?” she asked quietly “oh me and (y/n) just recorded this one soz” her voice a little blunt but Mary was often like that so you didn’t know if it was intentional or not. “Ah, okay” Rachel replied sounding disappointed as she left the room. The atmosphere was nothing like what was portrayed on their accounts last tournament but I suppose she only has herself to blame for that. Everyone on the team knew by now what she had done and they all sided with you, she wasn’t outkast but there was definitely an eerie atmosphere around camp whenever she was in the room. You tried really hard not to feel guilty, if you hadn’t of told people what really happened then you would be miserable and living a lie, watching her live her best life while pretending you broke up with her and that wouldn’t have been fair on you.

Sitting with the other newbies at dinner one evening you chatted about your experience so far. Ebony had been called up to replace an injury and had had your back since Rachel left, she was your best friend in Houston and knew every gorey detail of your break up. Having her on the team made you feel a whole lot more settled and knowing for sure that someone had your back 100%. Ebony scoffed as the defender come striker approached your table and asked if you can try and get on for the sake of the team. She had tried to talk to you in the past few days but you were still too angry to give her the time of day, Rachel nodded understandably and walked away to sit by herself to eat dinner. You couldn’t help the guilt rising and decided to approach her, rolling your eyes at your own conscience making you a push over. “Look, this is my first senior call up and I’m gonna do what I need to do to cement my place on this team. I’m not gonna let you ruin this for me so I’ll be civil but I’m not gonna pretend I like you.” Rachel nodded and put her hands up like she accepted the very tiny olive branch you were offering.

Another day of training you were paired together, someone clearly thought you needed to work with each other which you guess is a feasible assumption. Hitting each other with the pads was quite therapeutic until he sleeve rose up uncovering your matching tattoo still in full view on her arm. You’d had yours covered a week after she left with the Houston H hand sign. “Thought you would have covered that by now” you said pointing at the Roman numerals of your Dash shirt number. Rachel shook her head “my tattoos are my story and you’re part of it whether you like it or not” she shrugged. Bit of a weird reply but you didn’t argue. “I bet Becky loves that!” you said in jest. “She doesn’t know what it’s for” she shrugged again, clearly not enjoying this interaction. You didn’t know that she had booked to get it covered but couldn’t go through with it before camp, Jordan informed you of this later in the day when you mentioned it.

During all the training sessions before the tournament started you did what you were told to do and kept your head down, whatever you were doing was impressing the boss as you worked your way into the starting line up and into Rachel’s usual position. She was benched. It was like the ultimate karma and it felt amazing but it became routine at the 70 minute mark for her to replace you as a super sub. Game after game she was chasing after you for lead goal scorer, trying desperately to prove her worth to Sarina and the team. As soon as she caught up with you, the next game came around and you ploughed through the rankings again. Managing your first hattrick in the Group 16 game you proudly walked away with the match ball; Sarina had allowed you to play all 90 minutes and Rachel came on to replace Russo this time and assisted your last goal. She didn’t mean to, she went for goal but you got in the way and made it yours. Sneaky behaviour but it’s all team work until it came to her - she wasn’t about to take away your last chance of a hattrick! Walking around the field with the team to clap the travelling fans you borrowed a sharpie from one of them and made your way around the squad asking them to sign your ball. There was one signature left to get and you can guess who it was!

Slowing down your pace to catch Rachel at the back of the group with Millie who walked off as she watched you approach. “Can you sign this please?” throwing her the ball and sharpie. “I don’t think I should, you stole my goal” she said with a forced smile, “I think it’s a fair trade - you stole my wedding, I steal your goal” you shrugged with a cheeky smile. Rachel laughed and agreed with you, “in fact, I think you owe me a few more” you nudged her gently. “Don’t get cocky now!” she said with seriousness. “Far too late for that, I’m going for golden boot!” catching the ball she threw back at you with her scribble on. “Yeah? Well I’m gonna give you a run for your money!” she grabbed your shoulders from behind. “I’m not threatened by you old lady, enjoy your last World Cup yeah” turning around you winked before jogging off backwards, making the ‘I’m watching you’ sign as you went and revelling in the fact you have so many more tournaments to look forward to while her time is nearly up.

And I'm assuming you're talking about the {block}{/block}'s that change things like div placement or huge styling chunks + small things like colors and images yes ?! Soz my self-taught coding means I use my own terms for everything LOL so if that's not what you mean tell me and I'll revise... But here's the #basics for how I do blocks and metas. I'm on my phone and srsly rambled so if this is 1. not even what you're asking about or 2. incomprehensible lmk and I'll re-write it after classs AHHH:

It's relatively easy but keeping track of all your {block}'s can be tough and sometimes the intended affect just doesn't happen for whatever reason..... When I'm finalizing code and adding all of the metas I tend to type them all in a notepad file (so a list of just like {color:background} {color:header background} etc etc) to keep better track of everything I need metas for

After you put a block out like lets say this:

On some icon styling section all you have to do is add this:

In your head section for metas. Not in a <style> section just on it's own. You can set the content to be automatically true/false as well 💯 those are the on/off switch customisables

I'll talk about styling metas too they're also decently easy the hard part is remembering what you called them LMAO off the top of my head here's all the meta types:

Yes they've probably been posted before. No I do not check my past ones before posting. So yes I've probably posted the same list a bunch. Soz I guess

Leon spoke with his hands for like 16 years straight. So yes, even now that he speaks with his mouth he still uses his hands, its like muscle memory to him. Yes it's caused him to drop his mic a few times, good thing he's quick enough to catch it. He eventually gets used to holding a mic but still finds himself trying to sign with one hand. (Drew, shawn and alexa find it adorable)

Shawn 100% pouts to get his own way with anyone. That much the kids when they are young adopt the habit too.

Cassie streams herself playing the 2k games but only so she can make a male version of herself and beat the hell out of Leon and John.

John is 100% a mother hen to cassie and Leon. Everyone always jokes about how they are his first children.

From previous point. John always finds himself paying for Leon and cassie and anytime they send him money he ends up sending it back. Or if they forget to pay him, he just doesn't mention it.

Shawn and Leon have fast metabolism whilst taker, John and cassie do not. Yes they hate them. Yes they hate that Shawn and Leon can eat a meal for 10 and not gain a single digit of weight. Whilst Shawn and Leon hate that they struggle to put weight on. Especially when they want to look bigger and more muscular instead of twinks. (Yeah, I went there)

Anytime cassie gets an oc idea. Because yes, shes a fandom girl, or if she wants fan art of her minecraft skin, she hits Leon up. And he does it with no questions asked, because he does not want to know why he's drawing a gay pegaus and earth pony. (Rainbow dash, apple jack. My little pony. I have sisters okay.)

Leon has monochromatic vision. (He sees in black and white) and people often forget this, including himself sometimes. This leads to some very awkward moments between them all. (Cue the, L: Thats the red ball C: Red ball? Bitch that's blue what are you colourblind? J:*glances at them both* both of them: ooohhh C: shit sorry, my bad)

They are a hunting family. Leon does not eat meat. (And I oop-)

Shawn hates Leon's piercings because he uses them as a excuse to not wear a motorbike helmet. He hates takers fuckin brain because it tells him he doesn't need a helmet. (Wear a helmet kids. Fuck it, wear all your gear. Idc if your bike ain't fast, you come off, it's gonna hurt)

Each family member is represented by an animal (thanks to cassie and her fans). (Note, some of them have multiple animals that fit them.) Takers a lion, Shawn's a fox, John's a bear (Leon's fuming about that one), Leon's a Jaguar and Cassies a wolf. (John fits both bear and lion. Shawn fits both fox and cheetah, Leon also fits both cheetah, jaguar and panther. Taker has the qualities of a lion but they say if he had to have the looks of a animal it'd be a raven)

Charlie is still alive and kicking. Despite being born the same year and Leon. Yes he still looks young.

Summary: The other three drinks you’re tasked with presenting have to be abso-fuckin-lutely on point. And for better or for worse, getting it right becomes a bit of an obsession. And you can go with a couple of standards that you’ve had, but you want one to be just yours.

Mack frames it as a trial—as if he’s never seen your specials bring in money. Still, it’s a step in the right direction—a show of interest, and a sign that he wants to bring Barky’s into the 21st fucking century. 

So you start fiddling with recipes when you’re home. You already know you’re going to put the slow gin fizz up for consideration. It’s a little time-consuming, sure, but considering how much it paid out the last time it was on the menu, you can justify it to Mack.

“...What?” You call back after a moment. 

“C’mere, c’mon. Siddown.” 

“In a minute.” 

You hear Carmy sigh, then grunt again as he pushes himself off to stand.

“You said that twenty minutes ago.” 

Your eyes are set on the shaker as you add some vodka to the shaker. One…Two…Pop! You draw the bottle away with a jerk of your wrist, setting it aside and reaching for the cinnamon. Your hand hesitates over the container, eyes narrowing slightly before you shake your head a bit to yourself. Add that to the rum, if anything…Or you could try a cinnamon syrup…Cinnamon syrup, that would be better. You turn, crouching down and beginning to rifle through your cabinet for a small pot. 

"Babe."

“...Yeah? No, this’ll only take me like, less than ten minutes,” You reassure, straightening up. “I’ll be there in a bit.” 

Carmy doesn’t answer. Or—well, maybe he does, but you’re in your head, getting down the cinnamon sticks and sugar.

It has been at least an hour. Your head is killing you, you’re tired, and your eyes are crossing—but you’ve got it down, you know you’ve got it down. 

“Can you come here and try this?” You call out. Your kitchen smells heavenly—sugary and light, with only a mingling of alcohol under it. You glance over as you hear the floor creak. 

“C’mere, take a sip,” You urge. Carmy takes a few steps closer. He takes hold of the proffered glass. You watch, stomach tingling with anticipation as he takes a whiff, processes, then takes a sip. You bite your lips, brows raising as he hesitates, then swallows. 

“Good?” You ask, nodding, “Right?” 

“...Yeah,” He agrees…But he says it in a way that doesn’t seem like he quite buys it. Your brows lower and furrow, a frown taking over your lips. 

“What?” You ask, immediately defensive. “What’s wrong with it?” 

“Nothing is wrong with it,” Carmy insists, peering down between the glass and your face. “It’s just…It’s too much.” 

“What?” 

“It’s too sweet.” 

“Oh—Please,” You scoff. “That’s such a guy thing to say. What, you don’t like it, 'cause it's a girly drink?"

“No! I did not say that. It just—It needs something to balance it. A few dashes of bitters.” 

“Oh, sure,” You scoff, turning from him, “Thanks, great advice from someone that’s not a bartender.” 

“I may not be a bartender, but I know how to create a flavor profile that fucking works.” 

“Yeah, you know what, great. Thanks for the feedback,” You agree dryly, beginning to clean your counter before looking at Carmen. He watches you with an almost blank cruelty, eyes searching your face.

“You don’t think I know what the fuck I’m talking about.”

“When’s the last time you drank a sandwich, Berzatto.” 

The two of you stare one another down icily before Carmy wordlessly slams the drink down on the counter, the remaining liquid sloshing over the side before he turns. He shakes the few drops that landed on his hand off as he heads for the door. You don’t stop him; you just stare at the back of his head as he goes, irritation roiling through you. “Some bitters,” You scoff to yourself as the door slams shut behind him. “Some bitters.” You take a sip of the drink, hesitate, then turn away. You start making the drink again, grumbling all the while. 

“Tell me to add some bitters, like someone made him the fucking king of fucking bartending—bitters. Guy learns one fucking thing at smart guy chef school and thinks he can do my job better.” You add bitters to the shaker before slap the top on it. You take it up, shaking it with a renewed vitriol. You strain it into a fresh glass. 

“Add some bitters, like he’s got a perfect fucking pallet, like he knows—” You pause in your rant to raise the glass to your lips. You take a sniff and go still, stomach flipping with fear. But—No. No. This is your area of expertise. You know what you're talking about—he doesn't.

You take a sip and you…Freeze. 

Goddamnit. Fuck. Fuck—

You spit it into the sink, pouring out the rest of the mixture and dropping the glass as you hiss:

“Son of a bitch!”

about the whole future thing... i know i have a lot of time but i think because of some stuff coming up soon (when i leave school) im stressed about the future and my decisions in it entirely. idk what im gonna do if i need to go to the military lol like what job to take... i havent started driving and i dont understand shit about all the other stuff thats attached with going to the military im just stressed in general. i dont wanna end up staying in my parents house forever ig.

now to actually talk about my favorite character! woohoo! happy topic change!

for the two people who read this and the one thats actually gonna read till the end, im putting a cut so this isnt annoying on ur dash (note to anon: this post is so so fucking long i know u prob asked me my fav character to cheer me up but dont force urself to read this whole thing just to be polite lmaooo but id appreciate it if anyone did cuz holy shit)

something that ive realized a while back is that usually when it comes to favorite characters of media, i have a type.

when i made this the character i had in mind where souda (danganronpa), aiura (saiki k) and teru (mp100).

after making the tweet i also thought of denji (csm) who fits right in, and also bakugou (mha) who doesnt, but he looks like half of the characters i did mention lol.

i think the whole social but nice thing came to because of all those shows and stories where the popular kid in school is the mean bully.. maybe i dislike this trope cuz i havent personally experienced any kind of bullying in my school, even as an observer so i cant relate to the experience of having this type of antagonist. the worst it ever got for me was when in fifth grade a girl made fun of me for crying and no one laughed. (shes still in my class over six years later and shes really nice not ufhduh were not friends but were friendly and i dont hold a grudge). maybe its just cuz im wholesome so i dislike any type of negative character. maybe.

that might sound stupid cuz i said i like bakugou, who i used to think of constantly, like for the entirety of 2021 he was in my mind it was annoying. but idk man not all my favs fit into this category ((shinguuji, saihara, yuuko, tweek (who also looks like them! what the fuck!) yuudai from sakana (why are they all blond?!? and men. more female characters what the fuck) barf bag (yes im an object show fan good morning)))

anyways. i like the popular but nice trope is what im saying. why are they all simps? i dont know honestly only one of the characters that i mentioned at the start is simping for someone i ship them with (terumob) (but the reason i even like teru in the first place might be cuz i saw terumob art, thought it was cute, and decided to search more art. i do that with a lot of characters when i dont watch the show (from the original list ive watched all of saiki k, watched playthroughs of the first 2 dr games, watched like a season of mp100 years ago and watched like 2 seasons of mha even before that. i get my filling of plot and character from meme videos, fanart, and fanfics. i understand enough.) and i get hooked on the ship (more examples include akiangel, kiribaku and the two gay boys from evangelion. a lot of homo happening. also whatever the fic version of this is but with denji and yoshida).

about the simping and the bakugou being mean-- i accept my character's flaws!!! i dont erase them!!! bakugou is an asshole and thats why i wanna see him get punished and learn from his mistakes, even if its a little hard! a great fic where this happens (but isnt the main storyline) is quirk: knife! which is probably my favorite non ship heavy fic, check it out!

my fav characters have flaws but just like how you need to embrace flaws in the people you love, whether that means helping them get better or accepting them, i embrace these flaws cuz it makes them who they are! souda, denji and auira wouldnt be themselves if they werent pushing the lines with their crushes and idk what the fuck bakugou would be if he wasnt what he was.

alright lets actually start talking about my favorite character now.

so, right now, my favorite character of all time is-- ding ding ding-- kazuichi souda! who i already mentioned.

look at him! idk if the one and a half people who are reading this know him, but if u know denji, who is a more popular character atm, then imagine that but more wimpy.

the first time i encountered this character i was watching game grump's playthrough of the second game. i watched their first and enjoyed it but didnt really join the fandom. i didnt know anything about the second so i was going in blind like arin and dan, so theres a chance that whatever i thought about the characters was biased and connected to how they feel.

at first i really liked his design. a lot of the characters have small and complicated details but souda is probably the most simple design, not including hinata, but unlike him souda has a lot of bright colors that draw the eye in! i dont particularly prefer designs with sharp teeth but i think its a pretty nice quirk, since its another part of him that makes him look intimidating. theres a headcanon that he filed themselves but i honestly think he wouldnt do that, and prefer the headcanon that its genetic, even if it makes less sense. but danganronpa, and their designs, dont make sense. i think these little strange quirks are better when they arent thoughtout or have reason. he has sharp teeth becuz. just cuz.

if u dont know what happens in the game im just gonna say that the plot doesnt really matter, cuz really the only growth souda experiences is with his relationship to hinata (the main character) and his trust to his survivor friends that makes him stronger and convinces him to leave the virtual reality. im not gonna be talking about the plot in detail. i also havent watched the anime so im not gonna get into whatever he does there. i do know that he makes some cute faces in it, which is pretty awesome.

but, yeah, besides his design, at the start i truthfully didnt really like him lmaooo he was kind of stalkerish towards sonia (ill prob get into their relationship later), he is also a wimp but honestly... i get it hes stuck in a killing game i would be scared of anything too. i feel like of all of the cast, from all the games, souda is probably one of the best depictions of an actual teenager that might exist. of course he has his obnoxious moments, but in a way that a dumb teenager would have. i dont know when i started liking him, maybe after discovering soudam? hmm.

kazuichi is the ultimate mechanic, which is one of the talents in the game that actually gets used? he makes the communicators in chap 3 and fixes the elevator in chap 4. besides that, he is also important to the second chapter since he helped tie up komaeda and he also brought hinata to the diner, though that has nothing to do with his talent.

he learned to be a great mechanic from working at his dad's repair shop or garage or whatever its called. its mentioned that their family is pretty poor, and i think the concept of a character being at one point or another un-wealthy pretty interesting (did that come strange? sorry). he worked to help get their family money he is a good boy, he mentions being better than his dad too. he doesnt look like the typical mechanic, except from the greasy hair and jumpsuit (im talking specifically about his color scheme) and thats another one of those quirks that make no sense but i just like haha

speaking of his parents, lets talk about a popular headcanon that fans have of souda's dad (before we start i wanna state that my opinion on this topic and the topic of souda relationship towards sonia and his trust issues were all stem from an analysis video of him on youtube, if u know u know, so if i want someone more competent talking about it go there, but if u dont care enough to research it or ure only reading because u like me and wanna hear me talk about something i care about dw im gonna go into detail about these anyways

the hc is that souda's dad physically abuses him. i wanna talk about why dont agree (if u wanna skip this part ill put *** when it ends so just go there <3). this hc stems from a story he tells hinata in one of the free time events where he didnt go to his previous school trips because he wanted to save money for his family, even though he really wanted to go, and he says something along the lines of how his dad "beat the crap outta him" when he didnt go.

do i think his dad hit him? probably. i dont really know how common this type of discipline is in japan, or in places with more un-wealthy people so this might be normal to them. does that make that okay? obviously not. but if the only example we get for him hitting souda is after souda does something good for the family in his own expense, it wont make sense for his father to be mad about it, right? i think he was upset his son had to give up his happiness for them, even if it was to save money. the analysis vid said it might be souda just using more dramatized words for it. He was hesitant to tell hinata that he was picked on at school, i dont think hed just admit to being abused so casually. i think his dad might have smacked him from time to time when he was younger but probably stopped the more souda grew up. if his dad really hated him he wouldnt beat him after doing something that would benefit the dad, is what im saying.

also i think that the way souda acts doesnt reflect someone who would be regularly abused... its not like im an expert, but if we for example look at tsumiki, who was canonically abused and bullied regularly, we can see a great difference. yes, souda tends to be caught off guard or scared of stuff, but usually its less of other people and more about the situation around him. he was scared of monokuma and the monobeasts and the morning after the killing gama announcement. he's also generally not that apologist about his stupid behavior... for example he doesnt feel remorse for tying up komaeda, and even threatens to tie up kuzuryuu too. i also think he said something about wanting to punch one of the other guys? this might be cuz he tends to blurt out his thoughts stupidly and doesnt know how to hold his tongue (something that, if he was abused, would probably get him in trouble) but he never recoils from what he said. he whines about being judged, like after letting slip that he was thinking of sonia in a creepy way, but he never goes back and is afraid that someone might punish him or hurt him. like how tsumiki apologizes for the smallest thing at claims that she'll take any punishment.

it might also be because i generally dont like hcing characters with abusive parents haha. i know for a lot of characters its a part of what makes them who they are, but if thats not the case i feel like its always to excuse the character from some frowned upon trait they have.

its a bit difficult to explain so ill take an example from a different character from a different show. todoroki from mha was abused as a child, and its a part of what makes him him, and its a big part of his character, even if hes not in that situation anymore. i wont deny it. now, theres a hc that some people like to believe about bakugou's parents, specifically his mom, being abusive. this isnt canon. first of all everyone is entitled to hc what they want but a lot of the time i feel this is a way to explain his asshole behavior (also i just love mitsuki). i dont like excusing his fucked up actions and blaming his parents. i think that him being an asshole from the ideals that he himself made is kind of what made him interesting. he believes in what he learned from his own experiences that he and only he had. his stupid child thinking made him the gross person he is, and thats way more interesting than blaming his parents' behavior, like we can do with reason in todoroki's case. todoroki acts antagonistic at the start of the show because of the pressure his dad put on him.

now going back to souda, by making his dad abusive a lot of people linked that to him being a creep towards sonia. while i do see how his parents and their expectations might be a motivator, i prefer to blame souda himself for his wrong actions. i dont want to excuse his actions like that. its more interesting to see him grow from the ideals and reasonings he made himself.

now let's talk about his relationship with hinata! woo!

canonically, hinata is the person souda is closes to in the game, even though most of the time hinata is just tolerating his stupid behavior. except in his free time events maybe. their relationship is probably the biggest character development souda gets.

lets talk about his past a little more.

souda tells hinata that he used to be picked on for looking like a nerd. he had black hair (but i hc it more like dark brown, because reminder this is a post gushing about my fav character first and an canalization second), brown eyes (in hc world dull pale brown cuz a lot of the char's eyes are dull and pale colored) and glasses (hc: thin and rectangle shaped). he's not really a nerd... except that he's probably good at math and that type of things, since he builds machines and all. if i remember correctly, he says his bullied got away with what they did because he tends to be naive and trusts too easily. he was also used by his best friend that cheated off of his test, blamed souda for it (which he didnt really mind, showcasing how much not a nerd he is if he doesnt care about his studying and tests like that) and then kinda ghosted after feeling bad. but at the time souda was really heartbroken and felt betrayed, this whole situation gave him trust issues because that his naive heart cant tell when someone really wants to be his friend or if they'll drop him when they dont need him anymore.

souda and hinata start off being friends because souda didnt like any of the other guys enough (fair enough, hinata is the most normal one lol) and he tolerated him enough to go to the diner on the second island to spy on the girls with him. at the time kuzuryuu was still an asshole to everyone, but the two do get friendlier after the second trial (survivor boys bff agenda. i did say "bff coded" didnt i?)

souda tells hinata that after his ex best friend left him, he kinda went through something-- he dyed his hair, put in contacts, and pierced his ears (which i like to think was really scare to him) (and i assume this is when he started to wear bright colors, but i like to think he was always a fan of them (aiura and teru kinnie)) to make himself more intimidating (like i said in the list! remember the list?!) so that he wont be picked on. i assume the bullying he experienced was more emotional that physical, and he was probably called names for his nerdy appearance and was made to do tasks for toxic friends and somethings like that. tsumiki was physically bullied and she has bandages all over her design while souda rolls up all his sleeves and has his collar bone exposed while there is no marks on him. maybe he's have some scars from beginner's mechanical mistakes but thats hc territory.

anyways, because of his appearance change, he got some attention from flirtations girls and said that it had intimidated him. i imagine that while he was in his nerd looking mode, he didnt get much attention from the other sex so when they only started approaching him with the assumption he's some punk badass, that was probably a bit overwhelming for him and thats why he has a strained relationship with the female sex. he does kind of sexualize the girls, specifically in the second chapter, but honestly its not really that bad. it kind of even feels a little forced, like he said nanami had "huge jugs" and wonders if this "is what moe gap is" or something like that but he doesnt even say anything about wanting her lmao. the only girl he really shows any interest is sonia, and he mostly gushes about her beauty, instead of her body. not that thats really any better ofc.

he does get along with some of the girls or at least acts normal and not incel-y towards them, like whenever he's angry at saionji, when he felt awkward next to tsumiki or when he made minimaru for owari (though he did mainly do that to impress sonia). when alter ego enoshima suggest putting him between her boobs or whatever batshit crap she said he just yelled he's get crushed, so like. good for him for not being toooo bad. so yeah i do think there are reasons why souda's best friend woudlnt be a girl (for now, at least) and thats why it really is hinata.

and while hinata has other friends, his and souda's connection is special <3 some examples: he is friends with nanami, but they dont really get each other, or at least hinata doesn't feel too connected at her at times cuz shes like a robot and doesnt really get emotions to the full extent. canonically, his and komaeda's relationship is just not... bros, yknow? whatever it is its not "bros". he and souda are bros. i know that he and kuzuryuu consider each other brothers but i feel like while the friendship they have is great, hinata would be more comfortable just letting loose and being stupid with souda. they could connect by being stupid together and distracting one another from the bad in the world by being fun. cuz souda can be fun when he isnt stressed.

but since souda is an emotional character (i dunno if i mentioned this, if u didnt know souda beforehand hes emotional as shit and cries constantly, my beloved) they can get close the two of them emotionally and are empathetic enough to be able to comfort each other. that is, when souda trusts his enough to do that.

thats right. as much as id like to say souda is loyal like a dog, he doesnt really show that in the game lol. because of his experience with his ex friend, souda has trust issues, which i think i already touched upon (idk this is so fucking long im tryna go thru this one topic at a time but good god) and these issues come up in his and hinata's relationship, mainly chap 4. to put it simply cuz honestly the plot doesnt really matter in this context: souda suspects hinata to be a traitor, and because in chap 4 the characters are not allowed to eat, this probably makes him more stressed and causes him to think even more rationally. after the chap is over, in souda's last free time event, he invites hinata to the beach and order him to punch himself.

his actions are really silly here, but basically: hinata shows in souda trust, which makes souda feel like a bad friend, because he couldnt bring himself to trust hinata even though hinata didnt do anything wrong. he feels that their friendship is unfair and that he's the cause of this problem. so i guess he knows he'll get into an argument or a fight because of it, or maybe he wants to give hinata a reason to not trust him so he bring hinata to the beach so they could fist fight. but souda doesnt like to harm people cuz soda is a good boy tm so he asks hinata to do the work for him (which he does not do lol. they communicate and talk like normal friends). this is where souda tells hinata about his past being bullied, after in the last free time event hinata said he could see souda hanging out with the cool kids, so this is where he confides that hes not a cool kid. anyways souda comes to the conclusion that hes more scared of being a bad friend and a coward because of his trust issued that actually being betrayed, and tells hinata that he'll trust him. hooray!

in my mind they are suchhhh good friends. i dont mind shipping souda with a lot of the characters, but it think their friendship is the most important to me. i love them!

now lets get into his relationship with sonia!

i do, in fact, think that his crush on her is fake. i do think he believes in it. but he does not realize that the created a version of her brought on by her general politeness, her status as a princess and her beauty, in his mind that every day strays farther away from the real sonia. he denies her liking of the occult and other scary stuff that turns him off and he acts shocked when she admits to being a virgin (yikes. at least he doesnt really shame her. i think it just ruins his image of her-- again, yikes-- but he ignores it mostly. like he ignores her, the real her, most of the times)

i dont know why he needs a romantic relationship specifically so desperately, but i can think of why he wants that puppy love admiration that he has for her. she, or at least the way he makes her in his mind, is wildly out of her league. sure he wants a girlfriend, but deep down he knows hell never get her. thats why when she turns him down again and again he only gets hurt for like a minute. she even suggests she would rather he be the blackened in the 4th trial and he gets over it pretty quickly. this is the reason he wants to like someone out of his reach so much-- because he cant get hurt from her. he isnt being betrayed or heartbroken like his ex best friend did to him (yes this is about the trust issues again) because he never expected to be with her in the first place. by expecting failure by chasing a girl that is so so out of his league (a pretty perfect princess) he knows what he gets when hes turned down. to him, this is better than actually making an effort with someone he is genuinely attached to because in that case he might actually get his feelings hurt. we see this with his relationship with hinata, though it isnt in a romantic sense. sadly, after they become close friends, he still chases after sonia, but that might be because the player isnt guaranteed to play all of souda's free time events.

this stuff probably will take time for souda to understand. ofc this doesnt really justify his actions and creepy behavior towards her... i like to think that at some point (i constantly forget that dr is a game about killing each other and the apocalypse, but ig this can take place in here too since they both survive) he understands where his problem stem from, maybe with a conversation with hinata or kuzuryuu and he learns and he asks forgiveness from sonia and changes his behavior. the long and hard way!!! my boy did something stupid and he has to make up for it!!!! he will take responsibility because thats what good character writing is!!

itll probably be difficult to come to terms that the girl in his mind, that i do believe he actually fell in love with, is not real. he will cope <3

hmmm that was a lot. lets talk about some hcs cuz believe it or not i dont just think of his as what he is canonically, but also what he could be!

ok lets talk about appearances (still canon atm:) he is short-- one of the shortest guys in the cast cuz fuyuhiko and teruteru dont count (thats a plus) and he is, sadly, pretty ripped. it makes since cuz he prob carries heavy stuff and moves his arms a lot for his talent of being a mechanic but when a (male) character is TOO ripped and not for a good reason (for example theres a good reason why nidai or oowada are physically strong cuz of their talents, and some characters are just himbos that deserve it like momota) i just look at them like :|. but it think souda deserves some strong arms <3 he is a cuddler. he would. i just dont think he's impressively ripped. like i think he could sprint fast, but not for long, and that girls wouldnt flawk him for his arms (if they already knew who he was) cuz all in all he is still a wimp loser and he will stay as such, please and thank you.

im a big fan of his narrow eyes. theyre just. dont make sense on him i love it. just like the sharp teeth, he is blessed with looking the opposite of his personality.

now lets talk about post canon appearances! in the world of canon, where the most tragic event in history happens and they were a part of the despair refinements and they live the neo world program (i always forget they dont live in my lil modern day normal aus, ugh), i think he would wake up still looking like how he did in his depair era. idk how long theyre like that but this is my personal hc: hair that reaches his chest, some ugly dulled down pink still sticking to the tips of his messy hair, no hat </3 but his hair is long enough that he doesnt have that hedgehog thing going on </3, no contacts, no glasses, probably scars over his arms and one over the side of his lips like that rio penguin from madagascar (also curse that show for making my tiny stupid child brain think there are penguins in the desert. at least there are such a thing as beach penguins... hmm). i think he would cut his hair to be shorter that it is in canon, a bit longer than hajime's and would resemble saihara's except brown, parted and no ahoge. he wold be dispensation by the length. he would also wear a cap (the normal way) and with his natural colors back, he would look very snuggble :)) he would hug everyone he would be the comfort giver at least to the survivors (this is the part where u realize how insame i am for him lol)

in a world where the end of it didnt happen, i feel like he would feel kind lonely for a while after school, and wouldnt care enough to wear contacts and would go back to glasses, and he wouldnt dye his hair (i just really like his naturality okay i know i said i liked him at first for his colors but this is character growth! he is learning that he doesnt need to be intimidating to get friends!!!) his hair would be a little longer than canon but not by much. i just have this au where he works in an office and there he meets kamukura (who, personality wise is just hinata but depressed) and they become bffs dont at me, and this is how he looks in that au, wearing a button down without the tie and the sleeves rolled up. i do think hed wear obnoxious colors in his free time tho <3

maybe i should get into ships a little? mostly i shipped him with tanaka because i love me some rivals to lovers that isnt angst filled and is mostly just petty. theys either be salty towards each other or tanaka would be very intense in his friendship and souda would be tsundere-ish, not the obnoxious type tho. imagine how denji acts towards yoshida. (denji and souda are actually really alike. before i knew anything about csm my twt mutual told me id prob like denji cuz i like souda and.. well he was right)

but recently i dont really focus on shipping souda with anyone as much as i focus on his friendship with hinata (am i the only one who watched gg compilations and put their faces behind the silly conversations? like i imagine their sprites laughing while the video plays. is that weird? them and also saihara&momota. cuz theyre the same relationship!!! tactful mc and their friendly dumb bro! they!!!). also if u recall i made that drawing of souda with a bunch of ships so its not like loyal lol.

also why are souda and tanaka together constantly in the anime... i think its the end song where theres a slide show of all the characters in class in places like a picnic and the beach and stuff and the two of them are almost together. theyre at the very least friends. that dynamic where they both look intimidating but theyre both so fucking stupid. frienemies. <333 they are so <333 theyd be friedns at least!!! thank you for the anime for realizing that.

i also like to imagine that he and tsumiki would be friends <3 they were both bullied, they both cry a lot and arent really taken seriosuly, at least when it comes to their emotions. i think theyd hug and cry together and be friends :) also as couple they could be very cute.

i dont really know what more to say... i think this is it! i dont know what about kazuichi souda makes me love him so much. he is flawed but not to the point of being unlikable. he is unique but can easily be related to! i care about him so much... the amount of aus i come up and put him in... i dont post so much about him, but know he is my love. ofc i dont have romantic feelings for him some ppl just thirst over their favs i wanna preface that aint the case. not cuz of his age (im close to him in age) but cuz i just... dont feel and romantic or thristy feelings towards anyone so istg if anyone says something stupid to me about that.

thats all! i think this is the longest post ive ever made? when i got this ask last night i thought id write about all those characters i mentioned at the start but then when i went to bed i thought about my answer and realized i have a lot to say lol.

Hiroki is not the type to ride any of the attractions anyway, not just rollercoasters ❌️🎢❌️ And they only had a short time before rehearsals and all the attractions had like a 20 minute line (The spinning coffee cups are enough for him)

He still thinks about the drama surrounding it til this day 💔 He won't make statements but sometimes he wants to just let it all out 🥺

It's not a matter of having an agency, he knew it was gonna be difficult to go freelance already

He's already forgotten how much time has passed since Tensura performances, he loses track of time when he's deep in rehearsals

Apparently the old school he used to train under put alot of pressure on its elegance in particular, it's also important to have the right breathing technique

It's also about sliding your feet; in 2.5D, alot of actors are good at moving their upper body but has it go to waste because they can't move their feet just as well

This month's snack: Gorgonzola dipped in honey 🧀🍯

He used to be obsessed with gorgonzola back in the day, he has recently gotten into eating it again (but he can't have it without honey)

Recently, he's been having prosciutto ham, melon and burrata cheese (as seen)

Overall, he's been having alot of melon, peach and pear recently (shine muscat grapes are too expensive) 🍈🍑🍐

He also likes persimmons

Then again, he doesn't like the sourness of some peaches, and the pit is hard to remove

He finds the sweetness of some peaches compared to melon to be completely different

His hakama did indeed almost slide off during senshuuraku because he was hurrying up the stairs, he wasn't cautions enough with the hakama - they fixed it with magic tape/velcro though

He thought he had ripped it but he hadn't

He did stumble a few times off-stage

Benimaru wears two layered hakama anyways so he thinks it would be fine even if it ripped

Benimaru's outfits were super easy to move around in

Although the footwear were really difficult; he's more used to wearing tabi, so wearing setta (leather soled sandals) was a challenge (jumping was especially difficult)

Some suggested he'd wear rubber soles but it would just get flappy

He forgets what the second toe is called and calls it the ring toe

His toes would clench the setta straps 💢 but it would tingle like it was forming a bruise

Again, he's relishing in how easy it was to wear the overall outfit

At any rate, he finds heels super difficult to wear, particularly as Masaferry and his knee-high boots (they were sexy tho) - that might have been his most difficult one to wear when it comes to footwear

Shoutout to all the ladies who know the pain when the arch of the foot/shoe is rly narrow making it unstable

Shinonome was also difficult in terms of foot strain (the comments point out how he had to change footwear during the performance of Rusted Armor, idk if it was during the 1st or 2nd run)

He's contemplating whether it's more difficult to wear platform sandals or not

≫ Suehirogari:

Akashi is gonna be running this time!

He starts talking about the layout of the stage before realizing in the chat that it hasn't actually been officially announced yet lol (fans have sort of figured it out nevertheless)

The stage wasn't as big as he expected

Definitely bring a raincoat and towel in case of bad weather + lots of water

He's done numerous live shows indoors already but being outdoors may bring a whole new set of difficult situation

The seats are really close to the stage but it's quite wide instead (unlike Yoyogi Gymnasium and Saitama Super Arena), however it's all same ground level

Also, the setlist is gonna be a bit of a challenge

He thinks it's because he joined rehearsals halfway through, his number of appearances might have decreased, but there's gonna be alot of songs with everyone in it (me: *praying it's not gonna be like Tori in SRS22 Fukuoka/Hiroshima/2nd half of Tokyo and he was off-stage for a good 50 minutes 😭*)

He apologizes due to the various circumstances that he probably won't be on stage much and seems to blame himself for it 🥺

Because of it, he'll show us his best Akashi when he's actually on stage 💖

If Akashi ever got a tanki, it'd just be him and the audience sleeping. He'd be playing relaxing music like when you're at the dentist lol

≫ Tensura and Suehirogari:

Someone mentions the Oni zap in the chat, it seems to have been part of the adlib scene in one of the Tensura performances (8.13 matinée; they had only done it once previously during rehearsals), they had way too fun with the adlibs, to the point they didn't even have to speak with one another

You can tell Hiroki rly likes both Ryo and Hagino, the three of them kept chattering away backstage

They wanted to do the adlib scene (w/ Benimaru, Souei, Hakurou) because it gave a glimpse into the everyday life of the Ogre clan, they wanted to show the warmth and bond they shared as a family, but scenes like that had to be condensed and kept getting cut down

He doesn't know who came up with the adlib idea but they kept it real each time because that's what it's like to be around family

He thinks it's super fun to do adlibs with the help of everyone, after all you can't do adlibs by yourself

It's the same with Toumyu adlib although there's more regulations and it has to be ever more condensed (probably considering how many they are by now)

That being said, he's not saying there weren't restrictions to Tensura but, he just wanted to try to convey what he felt like for the character

There might just be someone who breaks the adlib restrictions in upcoming Toumyu performances, it's gonna be hilarious (a few guesses in the chat it's gonna be Onimaru or Ichi-nii). It's gonna be something that they create together with the audience? (Like a call and response-type of thing??)

He hasn't been getting involved with the new swords at all (might be because he joined halfway through)

He thinks Rei is serious and hardworking, he doesn't understand how he's actually younger (Hiroki is 1 year older), he's always rehearsing, he's very conscious of hierarchical relationships and is very polite (speaking keigo)

But they're always being silly together lol

He really wanted Hiroki to go on the attraction but he stopped before even queuing up. Rui Kihara (Heshikiri Hasebe's actor) went on the ride too

He makes a comment about another Kihara (Minoru) who's a weather forecaster and disaster prevention officer together with the mascot Sorajiro (it's a well known evening weather programme broadcasted in Tokyo)

He and Rui has been talking alot lately

It's only been a few days since he joined rehearsals so there's lots of ppl he haven't talked to yet. He's shy around new people and have been told he's difficult to get to talk so he's been trying to reach out to them himself. He's often told that as soon as he gets talking, their impression of him changes

He feels like he's gotten closer to Ryouga and Nakata since last year

He invited Tori to come when they went to the izakaya but got rejected cuz he was sleeping lol

He's only seen Daigo once at rehearsals so far but he's nice

He thinks he's contradicting himself because he wasn't very polite when he was younger. He talks about how "back in my days", you addressed your senpai by using the -san suffix (This part of the stream was kinda confusing to me since I'm rly not into Johnny & Associates and their manners regarding the -san/-kun debate for senpai/kouhai)

Even he himself would've been pissed off if someone instantly called him by -kun back then

He thinks it's about 50/50 who calls him -san/kun atm; Ryousei says -kun, Sasamori Hiroki says Nakada-san (but that's probably since they're both Hiroki lol), the other Hirokis call him Hiroki-kun though, Seiichiro probably calls him -san

He can keep on talking about who calls who what for hours on end

Seiichiro taught both him and Nobunaga when they were trying to copy and rehearse the dances, apparently he was Nobunaga's caretaker of the day

Nobunaga recorded their dance rehearsal (looking at it from a bird's-eye perspective helps him notice things)

In short: they all get along well (he kept looking at them with a warm smile 🥺)

There aren't that many people around his age so he was happy when there was someone for once who was older (Hagino? Haru-chan?)

He saw quite a few of the uchiwa at Tensura (not so much on the second floor though because it was too high up)! If he had more time, he thinks he would have been able to see all of them

Since both Souei and Rimuru's penlight were blue, he felt a bit lonely having the red ones, but seeing the red scattered all around the audience made him feel very happy, supported and encouraged ❤️

It became a good memory for him so he'd be glad if we felt the same

Red stands out alot more than Akashi's light purple, even he himself can't distinguish Akashi's purple (unless you have an uchiwa as well)

He'll be able to tell if we all wear purple jerseys, alt. Raiha jersey (he thinks they're quite fashionable) but he wants us all to wear what we're comfortable with

He doesn't know why Akashi gives off a jersey vibe (me: camp DVD)

Jerseys are perfect for people who don't want to work, and it shields you from getting sunburnt

If he'd be allowed to decide, he'd do the full performance in his jersey

This is the first time he's ever had so few rehearsals for a play (Furuba) so he's a bit scared. He'll have about a week of rehearsals (even fewer than when he did Motherland)

He doesn't think he'll appear more than he did last time (which means we'll get like three main Ayame scenes)

He also wants to wear the wedding dress!!!! 🚨🚨🚨🚨

He doesn't want to spoil it but he thinks this time it's more about Yuki's story

He hasn't had the time to properly look at the script yet

Mischa: Hello Talia. I am unsure if you're awake but I feel you must know that I love you. I have never cared about someone the same way I care about you. You are the light of my life. Thank you so much. Thank you for loving me. Every day as I wake up I long for the day I can be with you. So as I can hold you ever so dearly and never let you. My life's goal is to be with you. I love you.

He put his phone away and started to run to school. He noticed the time. He accidently ran into Constance. "Sorry." He said quickly then moved on. Dashing through the halls he almost missed Noel. Luckily for Mischa, Noel was wearing a bright cat jumper that is next to impossible to ignore. "YOOOOO NOEL!" He yelled at him. "Fuck me jesus christ. Hi." He said back. "Wanna walk with me?" He asked. Noel nodded. Mischa held his hand out for Noel to hold it. He looked down at Mischa's hand. He put his hand in his and walked to home room together. Holding hands.

Gonna skip to lunch

Mischa left his maths room to find Noel. He walked to the french room and saw him in the door. This teacher was notoriously strict and would not let kids break any rules. 0 rules could be broken in her class. Mischa took out his phone while he was waiting. He went to check his messages with Talia. She had left him on read. Two hours ago. Mischa felt worthless to her.

Mischa: Talia, I understand you might not want to talk to me right now but please be honest. Don't leave me on read and just say you don't wanna talk. I'm not mad at you. I'm really not. I understand it might've been an accident but still. It has upset me. I am so sorry. Like genuinely so sorry.

He questioned sending it or not. He read it over and over again yet there were next to zero errors he could find. He clicked the send button. His breathing picked up slightly. He rushed to the bathroom and bashed into a bathroom stall. He fell down to the floor. His jumper dragged up. His breathing got increasingly quicker. His vision had gotten a bit blurry and his mind was racing. All he wanted was for Talia not to hate him. No matter how many times she said he hadn't done anything or that she loved him, he would never fully believe it. His thoughts dashed around from Noel, to Talia, to everything. His eyes started to let out and he started to sob lightly. His breathing slowed slightly as he tried to focus on standing up. His legs shook as he pulled himself up. He unlocked the door and saw Noel waiting in the entrance to the bathroom. He ignored him and washed his face. Noel walked over and tapped his shoulder. "Mischa. Are you okay." It wasn't a question. He knew the answer. It was a no. He hugged him and sobbed into his shoulder. "Mischa. Did anything happen?" Mischa shook his head. "I just can't do this. I feel so worthless. I just can't…" His last words were overpowered with tears. He let out another sob. "Mischa. Take your time. I do not think you're worthless. Mischa bachinski I care about you and want you to be here. For Natilea, or whatever. She loves you Mischa." Mischa froze at the mention of Talia. "N-noel." He stuttered out. Noel's face changed. He was worried already, but this? A whole different story. "What. The. Fuck." Again Noel didn't say this as a question. "What the fuck did she do Mischa?" Mischa's mind went blank. "Nothing. She just left me on read hah." His voice was shaky. "Mischa, we're gonna skip the rest of this day and just chill out. I don't give a fuck what you say we're skipping." And with that mischa and Noel left the bathroom together, they climbed into Mischa's PT cruiser and drove off to the mall.
