The ideals of the Askurgan Order found some purchase in the charnel halls of Fleischtraum Estate, though only when enforced by welding greathelms onto their heads to prevent the partaking of blood.

Okay so I felt like sharing something I am quite proud of. The fist pic was my original Nagash colour scheme. I put a lot of effort into it, it took me days. At the the time I did know a lot about painting techniques, I had only just started mini painting again. Hell I had terrible dexterity issues with my hands, tremors and stuff. So it was the result of painstaking patience. So it was a little rough around the edges.
A few years later I decided to repaint it. I knew a lot more about painting techniques and although my hands still had tremors (still do now as well) I was able to really see apply what I learned over the years. I even incorporated aspects of colour schemes for armies that I collect since I got back into Warhammer and mini painting. It’s good too look back on this stuff and not only see the results of my hobby trials but how much I improved over the years (and continue to improve).
I don’t think I will ever completely repaint this model again, but even since this repaint a few years ago I can see areas where I know I can do better now. And I think that’s a big strength of visual hobbies like this. It documents your journeys.
