His eyes widen. "Gem! Hey! They aren't here! Put the knife down!"

She whirls on him. "What do you mean they aren't here!? I can feel their aura all around! Hermits are gone! Before you know it-" she freezes, starting to shake, her eyes glazing over.

"Before you know it everything will be engulfed in flames, exploded, ruined....."

Xisuma grips her shoulder. "Hey! Gem, are you alright?!"

The knife starts to swing towards him, but he grabs her arm.

Gem looks at him. "Where are they?!"

"Look. This has happened once before. The watchers took away several hermits, and they returned a few weeks later."

She looks around. "Well, they've gotta be somewhere!"

X shakes his head. "No, they never show themselves. Don't worry. Just put the knife away."

Hesitantly, Gem slides the knife back in it's slot.

And then she pulls out her communicator, trying to teleport out. "Hang on, I'll get my gear." She decides.

"Error: The action attempted is not allowed in this moment. Attempt it after lockdown is over."

"What? Lockdown?" Gem looked up.

Xisuma quickly hid his hands. "Standard protocol for Watcher interference."

"You have one of the best Watcher hunters in your server, and you are not letting me do my job?!" Gem raised her voice, clearly desperate for her friend. "I don't want to loose another server to them." She started to tear up.

Xisuma placed his hands on her shoulder, squeezing them softly. "Look, we have dealt with Watchers before, and nothing like that has happened. Trust me with this."

Gem pulls away, and shakes her head. "I need to at least find them." She takes off north.

Xisuma stays there for a moment, before realizing where she was going, moment where he pulls his rockets out, and starts following her.

Pollux: Someone as chaotic as him has ways to stop being blackmailed. He may suggest you to ignore them, just to see if the culprots are serious. At least if what you are blackmailed about does not put others at harm. If it does, you will find yourselves investigating with the intention of him making friends with the culprits. Why? Because his bad luck magic will punish them when they spend time together.

Sirius: He knows how serious the culprirs are just from the smallest amount of proof. Saying those are the greatest amateurs ever. He finds their identities by 8pm and will drag them to your room and he will let you decide their fate. And he may have some suggestions for painful revenges.

Spica: Drops everything he can to attend to the matter. What you are blackmailed about and the fear you experience, he needs to know it all so he knows how heavily to punish the culprit. If you are not comfortable with sharing what you are blackmiled about, he understands but urges you to keep in mind that he needs proof of theie actions to punish them.

Vega: He will not leave your side until it is all over. The culprits will not leave unharmed, and he will make sure that they will not manipulate anyone else soon. Do you know how easy it is to put a spell on someone so they cannot use their hands? It is a self-defense spell that is usually the first spell anyone learns. And he will use an advanced version of it on the culprits. As well as teach you!

it’s a multi-vortex tornado. i dont remember the tribe it originates from (i think it was cherokee), but there’s a native american legend…? saying? that goes “if you see a man in a tornado, you are about to die.”

Always use "excuse me" if you have to get into someone else's personal space.

People deserve a fair warning if someone is about to squeeze or shove or reach into their personal space. A lot of people are not okay with having someone, but especially a stranger, randomly shove or squeeze or reach into their personal space without warning. They also deserve a chance to move out of the way first for the sake of their comfort.

Try to avoid just staring at people who are in your way and expecting them to read your mind that you want them to move. Most people cannot, in fact, read minds, so having someone stand in front of them and stare at them often only leads to making them feel uncomfortable and frustrated.

But also more importantly, if you are standing somewhere someone needs to get to, and they say excuse me, you should move aside for them even if just temporarily, so they can avoid the discomfort of having to reach into your personal space or squeeze past you.

If someone is saying "excuse me" it's because they would like you to move because they don't want to have to get into your personal space, whether it's out of respect for you, or just because they themselves are not comfortable getting in your personal space.

All of this goes double for people with trauma and/or people who are neurodivergent. If someone has trauma related to abuse or assault they may find it more upsetting or possibly triggering to suddenly have someone shoving or reaching in their personal space without warning.

Or, many types of neurodivergence can make it especially disturbing and unpleasant to have someone else in your personal space, especially without warning.

You can never be 100% sure who is and isn't traumatized and/or neurodivergent, so always practice respecting other's personal space by giving them a fair warning with "excuse me" or "pardon my reach" before getting in their personal space, and moving aside when you hear those magic words. Or, even if someone isn't traumatized nor neurodivergent, it's still fair to not like someone in your personal space without warning and not being given the opportunity to move first.
