Sonny and Pete for prompt #32: “You could have died.”

“Are you serious?” Pete laughed dryly. “You’re angry because I was on the subway tracks? That’s why you’re screaming at me?”

“Pete, you don’t understand!” Sonny took off his hat and ran a hand through his hair, frustrated. “It’s dangerous to be down in the tracks!”

“I’m down there all the time!” Pete replied, rolling his eyes.

“You could have died. It’s dark and muggy and loud down there.” Sonny was on the brink of tears, his heart beating fast in his chest.

“Again, I’m down there all the time. I’m always fine. Sonny, stop worrying. I know the train schedules.” The artist argued.

“But you don’t know what could happen. I can’t lose you because you’re down there and suddenly the trains are off schedule and zooming through the tracks and it comes up behind you and-”

“Sonny! Calm down.” Pete’s face softened when Sonny started crying while spewing out his words. “Calm down.” He repeated and drew the smaller boy into a hug. “I’m sorry I scared you.”

“You really, really scared me.” Sonny said quietly, burying his face into Pete’s shoulder.

“I didn’t…” Pete trailed off, losing his train of thought, upset he scared his boyfriend so much he started crying. “I’m sorry.”

“It’s okay. Just don’t do that again.” Sonny pulled back, sniffing and crossing his arms.

“I won’t.” Pete chuckled softly, sending Sonny a small, sad smile.

“I’m gonna need you to say that again so I can get it on tape.” Sonny joked, making Pete laugh and kiss his temple.

“Anything for you.”

An Artistic Gaze

So, I wrote this for @the-undead-greaser because he’s my little brother and I love him very much. So, yeah, hope you all enjoy it. 

Sonny sighed as he finished his well needed pizza slice. He wiped his mouth with a napkin, making sure his whole mouth had been thoroughly cleaned. 

His eyes shifted upwards, soon rolling when he noticed that Stranger (as he liked to call him) was still staring at him. 

Sonny had been sitting in the food court for the past hour, happily munching away at the rest of the pizza he and Usnavi had been sharing.It wasn’t until his cousin left (for a date with Vanessa of course) that Sonny felt uneasy. After an unsuspicious check of the area, he noticed someone staring at him. 

The man was sitting about thee tables away, but had a perfect view of Sonny. Vice versa, Sonny could see the man clearly, he had a shaven head and a little ring on his left ear which suited him rather well. Little specks of paint covered his cheeks and forehead, something Sonny found quite endearing. 

He looked again, this time, the stranger’s head was down, his hand furiously moving up and down the paper sat in front of him. Sonny rolled his eyes, who did this guy think he was? Refusing to take any more of it, Sonny stood up and made his way to the man. 

“Hey, I’ve kept quiet so far but honestly I’m done. What is your problem man? Do you realise how creepy it is that you keep staring at me?”

A wave of regret washed over Sonny the moment he looked at the frown on Stranger’s face. “I-I’m sorry...I didn’t mean for you to be mad at me.”

The stranger kept his head down, beginning to pack up.  The paper in front of him showed to be a sketchbook, the page holding a rough drawing of...Sonny?

“Wait a minute,” Sonny held up a hand, walking closer to the stranger. “Is that, is that me?”

“Um, yeah. I’m sorry. I didn’t think, I’ve been trying to find something to draw all day and when I saw you I guess I just...” Stranger trailed off, looking back down at his sketch. 

“Just what?” Sonny asked quietly, his head tilting to the side. 

“Found my inspiration.”

A warm buzz made its presence known in Sonny’s heart. 

“I’m sorry, I really am. I’ll just get going now.” Stranger shook his head, putting his pencil behind his ear. 

“Hey man,” Sonny started, placing a hand on the man’s shoulder, making him look up. “Don’t go, I’m sorry. I’m just a bit mad because my cousin ditched me to go on a date.”

“Hey it’s fine. Don’t worry, I understand. If you’re here alone, then why don’t you come and sit down with me?” 

Stranger looked up, a sort of begging evident in his eyes. Of course Sonny had no choice but to say yes. Sonny smiled, letting go of the man’s shoulder and pulling out a chair. 

“So, I’m Sonny.” 

“Nice to meet you,” Stranger held his hand out which Sonny shook, not missing the way his heart missed a beat or two when they touched and definitely not missing the way their hands seemed to fit together perfectly...”My friends call me Graffiti Pete but you can just call me Pete, whatever you like, I’m not fussed.”

Yet again, Sonny gave Stranger - no, Pete - another smile. “It’s nice to meet you Pete.”

A/N: i had this dream last night and no i am in love and since i can’t draw it i can write it! also please enjoy and reblog (( lol desperate hoe))

- during the heat wave, nina gets the amazing idea of heading to the local ymca to swim!

- usnavi and dani are hesitant about closing their businesses but they give in

- usnavi gets kinda sweaty thinking about vanessa in a bikini

- they all walk there, usnavi and vanessa ahead

- everyone evedrops on them

- sonny gets close enough only they’re talking about their favorite types of cars

- they get there and check in and shit

- they head to the locker rooms and poor trans sonny is forced to go in the women’s change room when he shows his id

- he hesitates but goes in with vanessa on his side

- he changes in the bathroom stall and is the first one out

- swimsuits!

- usnavi almost brought a speedo but sonny talked him out of it so he’s got red trunks on

-benny’s got black trunks

-pete’s got a dark gray

-sonny’s got blue trunks with a size-too-big swimshirt

- vanessa has a skin tight hot pink bikini

-carla has a pink takini

- nina has a blue and red striped one pice

- dani’s got a red one piece

- sonny gets all macho

- “yea i can swim! imma go in the d e e p e n d !”

- everyone is skeptical

- sonny can’t swim at all

- he jumps in, holding his nose

- he pops back up and treads weakly

- everyone else is in by this point

- pete dives in after 5 seconds to save sonny.

- they go in the hot tub

- even though that defeats the entire point of the trip

-they wanna be alone in shallow water

- whatever

- they snuggle and talk

- the gals™️ play volleyball together with a beach ball

- benny and usnavi are talking about shit

- usnavi really isn’t paying attention

- because of vanessa

- he gets a lil sweaty (again) but goes underwater to hide it

- nina and vanessa play that game where you go underwater and say something and the other person has to guess what you said

- dani and carla go to the hot tub with sonny and pete and just talk

- after a while usnavi declares a chicken fight

- because of a potential chance of vanessa on his shoulders

- everyone agrees and they all get in the pool

- the teams are formed

- vanessa and nina (usnavi’s crushed)

- benny and usnavi

- pete and sonny

- carla and daniella

- benny and usnavi are first out

- then carla and danilla

- it’s up to sonny and pete against nina and vanessa

- so far sonny’s been on top because he’s too weak to hold pete

- but for this round they decided to put pete on top because he is strong and could easily take them down

- sonny is too weak man

- poor kid

- vanessa’s on top, nina’s on bottom

- team sonnypete ((heh)) looses just because sonny’s arms gave in and dropped pete

- poor bb is crushed but pete literally doesn’t care

- after lots of good fun they call it a day

- they go back in the locker rooms and dry off and shiz

- they walk back, watching the sunset over the hudson

- they all get ice cream even tho it’s like 9:00 at night

- they all decide to go again sometime and all head their separate ways

- that’s it folks

- this was way longer than i expected it to be whoops

sonny and pete + 39??

Sonny and Pete for prompt #39: “We need to talk about what happened last night.”

Sonny heard a knock at his window, and he immediately knew who it was. Only one person he knows knocks that rhythm. He stood up, opening his curtains and staring at Pete on the other side of the window. He sighed, opening the glass and letting the boy climb into the room.

“We need to talk about what happened last night.” Pete said as soon as he got in. Sonny sat back on his bed, rolling his eyes.

“Hello to you too.” He took his cap off, putting it on his nightstand.

“Seriously, Sonny.” Pete took a deep breath and sat next to him on the bed.

“There’s nothing to talk about.” The younger boy stood up and went to the other side of the room, sitting at his desks. Pete knew better than to follow him. He needed his space.

“Yes there is. Sonny, if we don’t work this out, our relationship won’t work out either.” He said, sadly, and Sonny swiveled around in his chair.

“Fine, then. Talk.”

“Okay, firstly, I just want to apologize for what I did. You didn’t deserve that. In fact, you don’t ever deserve to be yelled at, ever. I am really sorry.” Pete started, pausing in case Sonny wanted to reply. He didn’t. “I really like you. Like, I really like you. You’re the only person I’ve ever really wanted to have a long term relationship with.”

“Okay, well, you’re really screwing that up.” Sonny interjected and Pete let out a tiny chuckle, nodding.

“I know, Sonny. That’s why I’m here. I want to work this out. I don’t like seeing you mad at me, or mad in general. When you’re happy, I’m happy. I just want to fix this.”

“You need to think before you yell at me for making you mess up your painting. I didn’t mean to scare you.” Sonny said quietly, chewing on his lip.

“Definitely. I will, I promise.” Pete stood up, walking to Sonny and bending down. “You forgive me?”

“Yeah.” Sonny smiled a little. “I forgive you.” He leaned forward and pressed a kiss to his boyfriend’s lips.
