i just had the biggest moment of realization?? in something to believe in katherine talks about her and jack’s love being true even if it only lasts a night. she only thinks about the two of them as a temporary thing that’s beautiful as a concept but in action can be scary, only from a certain view can it be incredible. jack then talks about it as the other point of view, daytime. he has so many dreams (associated with night, his dream is katherine) that when something happens during the day it’s true and strong. jack believes in her because she is physically there, not a figment of his imagination like in a dream. (also a lot of people say something to believe in is a javey song and i happen to agree, i think this makes their relationship even cuter than before)
