#the main thing qbout this is that i’ve been really wanting to design wrist guards for shadow #stil have no idea how to go about it #i wanted to make them look somewhere btwn real wrist guards and his boom gauntlets #I HAVE FINALLY DRAWN HIM ON SKATES THOUGH thats a win #these would be city skates or even rec skates ig. this outfit isn’t practical for aggressive skating #this is a fashion outfit not an activity outfit whatever whatever #i so wanted to give him a longer skirt but long skirts are not practical for skating whatsoever #so i settled for a shorter skirt but i think shadow would rock long skirts remind me to draw him in a long skirt sometime later #art is hard today this is mediocre and i didn’t draw it how i wanted to but it’s at least out kf my brain #ignore how i sketched the same exact thing thrice. well i guess it’s hardto ignore #uuuuuuuuuuuuuu whatever i’m sleeby i’ll hopefully revisit this someday later #doodles #shadow #action sport posting #my art #i GUESS. ppl seem to like it so it can go in my proper art tag. i guess.

It may be crimbus eve but I did draw things for the modern Doctor/Surgeon!Law x ComaGhost!reader (in this case, me) Story that’s been percolating in my head. The main concept is that the reader has to get the attention of Law and to do so has to push him to the edge of exhaustion so he can see her. I don’t think she does anything outwardly malicious in order to keep him awake but she is totally haunting him. Edges of his vision, whispers of desperation in the night, general sense of unease, paranoia and anxiety. Ya know, ghost shit. There’s a few other ideas swirling in my head like some Penguin, Shachi, Bepo, ghost hunting to help, hijinks. And perhaps a reason that the reader is linked/drawn to Law, but nothing super solid yet. Just that her coma is induced and there may be some foul play involved in the hospital 👀👀.

Perhaps I’ll write out more for the au but for now enjoy this little context sketch page!

(Also the “explodes you with my mind” he just has a sleep deprivation migraine and I thought his pose looked like that lol!)

There’s a lot of reasons I am no longer DatBlueBean. Why I stopped posting on tiktok, why I stopped responding to comments and dms. And I promise I’ll make a full piece about it one day

But, One reason I changed from my old self, and felt like I couldn’t post anymore is because I realized ; I’m aromantic. I felt like a fraud, everyone saw me as the guy who drew the super cute ship stuff. Ppl characterized me as a hopeless romantic and someone who could portray queer love in a way they felt seen in. But It felt like I was lying, like I was portraying something I didnt know or saw myself in.

I wasn’t proud of being aromantic. Even further, I was ashamed of it.

I’m coming back now. I’m drawing art of queer intimacy, because I’m an intimate person. I’m aroallo, and i still don’t feel a lot of pride in that. But, I want to make art that makes me and others feel good again.

So happy Valentine’s Day. No, I didn’t make any ship art for it. And yes, I still feel sort of weird. But happy Valentine’s Day to the aros, the aces, the allos, the lovers and the loveless and the in between. I love you, and I love my friends, and I’m learning to love myself <3

(Some people will kill me for this) I watched Neon Genesis Eva back in 2021-ish and the more I think about the show the worse the show gets, I think its a very pretty show, Especially with the strain the animators were put under. But the character writing is pretty awful regarding all of the women in the show, and even disregarding misogyny as a element (Which it IS) The show builds so much momentum just to do nothing with it, This show has a lot of potential it throws away to focus on asuka or whoever shoving her ass in the camera. The themes of human connection are surface level at the best and misguided especially for a audience of 14 year olds at the worst.

Its such a mixed bag I enjoy talking about mostly cause I can find no one who agrees with me, half of the people I encounter just enjoy the cool art anyway and I can get behind that, I just find it impossible to ignore the many many issues with the writing.

Finally got around to groovying Trey’s Dorm SSR and please tell me why his voice line kinda—

Like I’m not insane, right? Right? Right???? Please tell me I’m not the only one that looked at this, heard this, and keeled over. Please this isn’t fair. This isn’t fair. This had me up at 2 am staring at my ceiling as I felt the hours slipping by me wondering who the fuck decided it’d be a good idea to make that his groovy voice line. I’m losing my sanity. I cannot sit here and exist a minute without thinking about this line and his magic three voice lines before becoming overcome with desire.

Trey Clover had me at his laugh. He has the cutest laugh ever, he just gets all wheezy in the middle of it and he giggles and there's something so endearing about this 6 foot baker man with forearms sculpted by the gods with a laugh that sounds like pure sunshine. I want to eat his laugh. I want to bottle it up. When he laughs it's like my stress just melts away. It's free therapy. It's depression curing. I want him to have the best life ever so he can keep laughing at silly little things like oyster sauce. Like okay, there's the chuckles he makes when he's amused by something but then there's his pure laughter and that's what I'm talking about here because his chuckles are hot but his laugh, his giggles are the sweetest things in the world, sweeter than the cakes he makes and I would get cavities just listening to it.
