special good is when it was rigged/something was against them or different but they still beat it. hold on hold up i’m looking for an example rn. ok the secretary lady deborah or something she was in a trap out of her control but she survived.

hello sorry to bring potential Discourse™️ but i feel like you’re one of the few levelheaded and rationale leafs fans out there so kinda wanted your thoughts lmao. and i want to put a disclaimer that i truly love him, he’s one of my two favourite players on the team, and this is NOT for Accountability reasons or whatever the Hockey Men on twitter are screaming about because we all know mitch is his own worst critic…. but is it time to demote mitch for a game or two? maybe play him with domi for a while and increase the third line’s minutes?

i’d hate for him to play less because he’s so elite and one of our beet players and he isn’t even playing that badly but he truly does not seem like himself this season. i wonder if less pressure to produce and facing less difficult matchups and having to drive a line will help mitch kind of reset and get back to basics because i feel like he’s definitely overthinking and getting into his own head a lot.

(also so glad you got to go to scotiabank and watch a game in person and enjoyed yourself!!)

not to immediately wade back into it after saying no but you do raise an interesting Point...

my temptation is to kneejerk say no for a few reasons 1 because I believe in 1634 soulmate foreverism and and 2 because... what would we do with auston?? I think our sample size is big enough that we know 599188 absolutely should not be split up under any case, and kniesy is Auston's Most Beloved Son so he's not going anywhere either, but that 1RW spot has a mitch-sized hole now, and as much as i love calle calle my best friend he's not really the best in there?

honestly i think maybe? but not in the way that you think -- i don't necessarily believe in the mandate of having A Line that you play with especially when some Lines just... suckkkk bad! leafs fourth line has genuinely lost us games over this stretch so. here's my official give them all a kick (not exclusively mitch but potentially including him) suggestion:

- get to have it both ways re 1634 and domi -- auston and mitch assist on each other's goals when they're apart so much lol... i mean in reality it's less eleven and seven and more one line (599188) and then eight forwards to mix and match -- any three of 23/34/11/16 and any three of 89/19/11/18/74 and any two of of 16/19/89/18 with auston (essentially: keeping mitch as 1W, rotating between max as first line centre and fourth line centre and auston as first line centre and third line centre, and filling in calle to take a faceoff or two when necessary)

- we can offer all our defencemen and morgan especially some lowered minutes

- the good old Weird Matchup! tactic that makes other coaches get confused

In the end of the day, it’s up to the person what they want to do with the RP blog. And it’s up to me to decide, whether or not I wish to stay around someone who excessively posts unrelated things to RP on their RP blog and it is affecting my experience/time in their blog.

I’m sorry if it may come off as cold or rude, BUT this might be a SHOCKER to some. I’m here to RP, I want to see that person’s work. Maybe those super personal rambles, might be better kept outside of a RP blog altogether.

Because surprise, those things can scare and drive people away from you. The amount of OOC posts, is something I pay attention to on someone’s blog before I follow. If I feel like the ratio is too off, then that’s a pretty telling sign for me to not even bother.

18. On side blogs.

Other than that, I just wished people paid more attention to them. As in, check which blog the side one is following from, and that sort of stuff. I feel very awkward, when people assume we are mutuals without double checking in the first place.

Speaking from my own experience: Working on my graphics for RP, has helped me maintain in check the skills I’ve learned throughout my college course. I’ve studied graphic design, I’m hoping to work with it in the future. I’m doing my graphics, because I have fun working on these things.

And before anyone decides to shove words into my mouth, if I don’t address it. Yes, I also think it is unfair that the general law around the tumblr RPC seems to be “Fancy graphics = QuAlItY rPeR”. That’s just extremely silly, and can be remedied once you find people who more or less matches your style.

Being good at small talk is all about having genuine curiosity about someone. It can easier said then in practice. But it takes effort to bring out.

I call bullshit on this one.

1) Small talk doesn’t have to be with one person you’re interested in - though it obviously can be. For example, I absolutely suckkkk at making conversation in my friends group. I tend to be pretty quiet, and occasionally chime in with some gold one liners or good advice.

2) Even for people that I am genuinely interested in, and would like to know better... I’m pretty bad at starting and maintaining conversations... unless they’re about big, overarching concepts... or about something that has only one answer.

1. What fictional character can you relate to the most? (I’m keeping it very open it can be from a movie/tv series/book/anime/cartoon)

I feel like I relate to hermione in a lot of ways, and I relate to Clary in the aspect of trying to find myself and also getting out from under protective parents (in the books).

2. What was your very first OTP? And why? (The why is optional but I would love it if you could elaborate)

My very first OTP was harry and hermione! I still think they should have ended up together tbh, and the harry potter series was the first set of characters and books that I truly fell in love with. I always thought they balanced each other out so well, with harry’s impulsivity and hermione’s wits. They brought out the best in each other!

3. What is your favourite sport? (To watch or to play)

Basketball 100%

4. What is the stupidest or most embarrassing way you’ve injured yourself (If this doesn’t apply to any of you, you can skip it, I only ask because I am super clumsy and constantly getting injured)

Ummm, I mean i’ve never broken a bone or anything but I fall over ALL THE TIME

5. What would your perfect weekend be like?

I would love to have a weekend where the first day was nice and sunny, but still cool (so fall weather) and I’d be able to go out and do something outside with my friends. And then the next day I would want it to be a thunderstorm where I could stay inside and read by a window :)

6. If you could hang out with any celebrity who would it be? And why?

I’d probably pick kat mcnamara honestly, she just seems super cool and intelligent and I’d love to hear about her studies and her work on the show! If not her then matt daddario cause like.. who doesn’t wanna hang out with matt honestly.

cat!!! dogs are awesome if they’re well behaved, but I’ve never met a cat I didn’t love :)

I honestly don’t know between hufflepuff and ravenclaw. I value my education and love to learn, but I always strive to be the nicest person in the room as well. I consider myself to be loyal and hard working, as well as creative and pretty smart. I guess it would be up to the sorting hat to decide!!

Please refer to me as peaches (lol). I am talking to this guy ( im going to refer to him as xyz) . We have been really close friends since freshman year in high school, i am now a high school senior. My problem is that i dated one of his best friends, for about 3 months, but we barely did anything as a couple. We hung out a total of 2 times and he kissed me once, other than that we would just texted everyday. Xyz was there for me when i broke up with his friend, but his biggest problem is that he talks so so many girls, im not sure if he talks to them just as friends or he is talking to them to find a relationship, but hes always talking to someone new ( he also has a lot of friends so it could just be that hes talking to them as a friend). My friends are always telling me he acts different around me, they say he likes me a lot he just doesnt know how to act around me,( a lot of people also think we are already dating because my bestfriend posted a picture of us being very affectionate with one another on social media) he is very affectionate because whenever we hangout he is always finding an excuse to touch me. He is such a big flirt. I really like him a lot but im having mixed feelings i dont want to be just another one of the girls hes talking to but i know that hes liked me for a while as well but he just never wanted to do anything because he didnt want to hurt his bestfriend. Im not sure what to do i often find myself thinking “oh he probably does the same the same thing with other girls” or “ he’s probably hanging out with a bunch of girls right now” I dont know what to do. Should i just stay friends? Should i see where we will end up? If this can eventually evolve into a relationship? Im so confused and dont know what to do, because i know that he likes me. Xyz is just very complicated i feel as if he doesnt really know what hes looking for in a relationship, i feel like he thinks its a game. please help asap i dont know what to do. Ugh guys suckkkk.

Hey there!

I really think you should talk to him about your feelings for him, and ask him if he wants a relationship with you! You could also ask him about the girls he talks to, ask him if he's looking for a relationship or if he just sees the other girls as friends. Additionally, if you're on good terms with some of the girls he talks to, you could ask them. If he's been flirting with multiple girls at one time, it might be some sort of game to him, but it's also possible that he would be different once he commits to a relationship. If he acts different around you than other girls, he probably feels differently for you! It's possible he sees the other girls as just people to flirt with and have fun, and he sees you as somebody he actually wants to commit to. However, if he's flirting with all those different girls, he might not be a guy who likes to commit, and therefore he might not be somebody you want to date.

If you really like him, and feel like he likes you, then you should definitely talk to him about your feelings and ask him what he thinks of a relationship. You should also ask him if he'd be able to stop flirting with other girls while you're dating, unless that's something you personally don't mind. I don't believe you should tell him to stop talking to them if you do end up dating, but setting boundaries about flirting with other girls would be okay. You should figure out if you can trust him to commit before you decide to date him.
