Wayne Cooper, Indian Code Talkers, 2000. Oil on canvas. - The painting depicts code talker Charles Chibitty (Comanche) after landing at Utah Beach during World War II.
During World Wars I and II, hundreds of Native American servicemen from more than twenty tribes used their Indigenous languages to send secret, coded messages enemies could never break. Known as code talkers, these men helped U.S. forces achieve military victory in some of the greatest battles of the twentieth century.

Pfc. Preston Toledo and Pfc. Frank Toledo, Navajo cousins in a Marine artillery regiment in the South Pacific, relay orders over a field radio in their native tongue.
They were present at many important battles, including at Utah Beach during the D-Day invasion in France, and at Iwo Jima in the Pacific. In fact, 5th Marine Division signal officer Major Howard Connor stated, “Were it not for the Navajos, the Marines would never have taken Iwo Jima.”

[SECOND HEADCANON/FAN THEORY]
One of the greatest animated shows of all time, Transformers Prime and its finale movie Predacons Rising, takes place in or rather shares the same universe as plenty of other media ranging from other TV shows, movies and even video games.
The theme here that would connect them all is that they focus on ensemble casts of characters not just living in a world where the odds are against, be they supernatural or not, but also having them go up against not just said odds but the highest stakes possible that affects them.
Top it off, the ensemble casts of characters are not the type of standard, generic, heroic superhero type of characters and instead are vastly different from each other with them being distinct and flawed type of people who would never think would be the "heroes" in these scenarios. They're way less Gerard Butler in 300, Liam Neeson in Taken or Robert Downey Jr. in later MCU movies and way more Genna Davis in The Long Kiss Goodnight, Paul Walker/Vin Diesel in The Fast and the Furious and Clive Owen in Sin City.
Another thing is that with the media here is that no matter how fantastical, grand in scale, epic and supernatural even as they all get, they ALWAYS remain either somewhat grounded OR grounded to some degree. Again for example, they're way less the crappy later Fast & Furious movies, the shitfest that is the DCEU and whatever the hell Ben 10: Omniverse was and way more the Jurassic Park Trilogy (even the third one with the 'Alan' raptor), Die Hard and Big Trouble In Little China.
Now let's get to it, shall we:
• Far Cry Primal
• Solomon Kane (2009)
• Wolfwalkers
• Pirates Of The Caribbean Trilogy
• Red Dead Redemption Duology
• The Wild Bunch
• The Mummy (1999) and The Mummy Returns
• Indiana Jones Quadrilogy
• Overlord (2018)
• Inglourious Basterds
• Kolchak: The Night Stalker
• Runaway Train
• Big Trouble In Little China
• The X Files (first nine seasons, 1998 film, Millennium and The Lone Gunmen)
• Heat (1995)
• From Dusk Till Dawn
• Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel
• The Incredibles
• LOST
• Heroes
• Cloverfield
• Krampus
• The Invisible Man (2020)
• Upgrade (2018)
and
• Alita: Battle Angel

[ADDED BONUS]
Whatever happened to Airachnid?
After she had drain all of her Inseticons done to nothing but the robotic bone, Airachnid was able to find a hidden yet grungy ship within the moon she was stranded on by Soundwave. Resourceful enough to make it work and turn it into her own twisted and demented ship that's all hers, Airachnid escapes and flies back to Cybertron. Learning of the death of Optimus and the war now over, Airachnid realizes she still has unfinished business she needs to settle right here and right now. She kidnaps her nemesis Arcee, who is now secretly dealing with trauma of her past once again due to Optimus' passing, and offers her an opportunity.... due to their previous fights with Arcee always winning, she managed to do the one thing no other bot or being couldn't - she impressed her. Therefore, Airachnid controls her infection and offers to Arcee that they should team up and become hunters across the galaxy but this time hunt down the worst of the worst, the most dangerous criminals there is and the deadliest of species that do nothing but cause havoc. Sensing Arcee's new PTSD and emotions after the death of Optimus Prime, Airachnid is able to use that to her advantage and manipulates her into taking the deal.... which Arcee reluctantly does.
The two of them are now bounty hunters that take in criminals of all kind throughout space whether they'd be dead or alive and as we speak, Arcee and Airachnid are awaiting their marriage this week.

So there’s these Jews...
in my family tree. Chile...
This is one of the wildest shits I’ve come across.
In the midst of chattel enslaved people classified as negroes or mulattoes building the United States from scratch and generating the country’s longstanding economy through forced free labor, Simon (an Ashkenazi Jew)
Tumblr media
and Philipena (a Sephardic Jew)
Tumblr media
scurried their asses to the "Golden Land of America” for opportunities, to escape persecution and whatever other shit was going on in Europe. That same ol’ raggedy ass, worn out line still used today. Anyway. They made their way to Ellis Island before it closed down, settled in New Jersey for a hot moment before moving to South Carolina because Philipena peeped Simon getting involved with Russian anarchists. His comfort zone.
Now why SC? There were Jews there like in other southern states, but high in number for Sephardic Jews like Philipena (my guess since she picked it). Simon opened a business called Simon Brown’s Sons, making shoes and boots; helped to establish a Sabbath school in Augusta, Georgia that he would send his kids too; owned $7,600 in real estate (about $160,000 in 2022 dollars); and was a “farmer” aka he owned enslaved negroes and mulattoes who labored the land that would eventually amass to 5,000 acres after enslavement. Did I mention he enlisted in the Confederate Army but was later captured by the Union after stomping with Robert E. Lee?
Tumblr media
Don’t take this as the Union being the “good guys.” Their hands been dirty and bloody too. After all they’re the ones who created the Devil’s Punchbowl concentration camp in Mississippi to starve and curb the population of over 20,000 negro and mulatto women and children who were then classified under the federal status, U.S. Freedmen, which the descendants (Black Americans) are still under today. Oh wait. Rewind. Did I mention that Phillipena shielded their house from being torched by Union soldiers during the Civil War by waving a masonic flag from the porch? Yes, bitch. Them people. The commanding officer spotted the sign and rerouted.
Simon’s ass is in three books, including The Jewish Confederates by Robert N. Rosen, Dark Hours: South Carolina Soldiers, Sailors, and Citizens Held in Captivity during the War of Southern Independence, 1861-1865 by Randolph W. Kirkland, Jr and a Virginia Encyclopedia about his capture at The Battle of the Weldon Railroad.
Him and them sons of his were featured in a number of newspapers (I’ve counted 20 so far) after some shit popped off. It’s featured in the book, Carnival of Blood - Dueling, Lynching and Murder in SC 1880 -1920 by John Hammond Moore.
So what happened?
John Gribben, an Irish immigrant in his 40s who was the town marshal, wasn’t fond of Jews. He would post letters about his feelings and pry open and search through Simon’s deliveries. Looking for what? Liquor. On Aug 28, 1894, John pried into the clothes package of Simon’s 22-year-old son, Solomon. Simon pulled up on John, accusing him of persecution before they got to loudly arguing. Simon’s three sons rolled up leading John to tell them he would beat all their asses.
Twenty-year-old Isadore stepped up beating John’s ass “against the wall of Geo. A Still’s store,” per one of the news articles. How would John get out of this one? Pistols were drawn and them crackas had a whole shootout like they were in a western. John caught one to the left shoulder and another near the heart, entering the left lung. Mothafucka staggered and died in the store he got his ass beat on the wall of. Solomon caught a head shot, one in the chest and one directly to the heart. Signed sealed and delivered to their makers. Au revoir.
That trial was a damn riot. Not a literal riot just wild. Simon’s son, Herman, was on trial for being the one whose gun delivered the kill shots to John with Simon and Isadore listed as the accessaries. A news article about the trial delves into and I quote “the influential Brown family” history. So you know how that trial went. Acquitted. That wouldn’t be their last case like this one involving the damn South Carolina Supreme Court. I don’t even have the energy to read it. More shenanigans.
Did I mention that that side of family tree ends up dipping into the Rothschild tree? Them people. I just…
So how does my 3rd grandmother end up in the picture after emancipation bringing forth a child by one of them sons? It wasn’t by choice. You catch my drift...

[1] Grumbelly was related to Capt. Keelings (of Princess Ann/Anne County, VA), with some of the people in bondage running away to join the British lines including Argyll, who joined Royal Artillery Department, and Robert. Grumbelly is also within this book. It would make sense it is Virginia's Eastern Shore rather than Maryland's, although this cannot be confirmed. William was undoubtedly one of many who was part of a small plantation within this area.
[2] Others would be evacuated on the La Aigle. His bio says that "William Keeling is assumed to be the husband of Pindar Keeling. They travel near to each other on board the Clinton and despite the presence of other Keelings, they are not listed in the Birchtown Muster." Perhaps they settled in a different area or died on the voyage North. Pindar was formerly bound to a Norfolk slaveowner named Willis Ball. One transcript of the manifest says  "William Keeling, 40, feeble fellow. Formerly the property of Grumbelly Keeling of the East Shore, Virginia; left him 6 years ago. GBC." This being the case, then it makes sense that he cannot be found in Maryland records. It also clarifies that on 31 July 1783 the Clinton was Clinton bound for Annapolis [Royal, Nova Scotia] & St. John's [Saint John, New Brunswick]. This means it was going to Nova Scotia ultimately. The GHOTES Genealogy and History of the Eastern Shore group on Facebook lists 38 enslaved blacks who had left New York, originally enslaved in the Eastern Shore (presumably Virginia's).
[3] The word "loyalist" is used in quotation marks as it is an inexact term, and like Patriot it was used positively by those supporting the British Crown. Instead, the term supporter of the British Crown or any of its derivatives is used instead.

Sarah Breedlove (December 23, 1867 – May 25, 1919), known as Madam C. J. Walker, was an African-American entrepreneur, philanthropist, and political and social activist. She was considered the wealthiest African-American businesswoman and the wealthiest self-made woman in America at the time of her death. She was born close to Delta, Louisiana. Her parents were Owen and Minerva Breedlove. She had five siblings, who included an older sister, Louvenia, and four brothers: Alexander, James, Solomon, and Owen Jr. Robert W. Burney, She made her fortune by developing and marketing a line of cosmetics and hair care products for African American women through the business she founded, Madam C. J. Walker Manufacturing Company. Born in a village in LA, she moved North to develop her business. She became known for her philanthropy and activism. She made financial donations to numerous organizations and became a patron of the arts. Villa Lewaro, her lavish estate in Irvington-on-Hudson, NY, served as a social gathering place for the African-American community. She commissioned Vertner Tandy, the first licensed American architect in NYC. She intended for Villa Lewaro, which cost $250,000 to build, to become a gathering place for community leaders and to inspire other African Americans to pursue their dreams. Although she was eulogized as the first female self-made millionaire in the US, her estate was worth an estimated $600,000 upon her death. According to her obituary in The New York Times, "she said herself two years ago that she was not yet a millionaire, but hoped to be some time". She married Moses McWilliams (1882-1887) and they had one daughter, Lelia McWilliams; married John Davis (1894-1903); married Charles Joseph Walker (1906-1912). #africanhistory365 #africanexcellence https://www.instagram.com/p/Cmg0AR4LJJ6/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
