solid snake: american curl/ random short hair mix

- i made snake before big boss so some of this is me retconning to make it make sense (he used to be 100% curl)

- american curls are a good hunting breed + i just think it looks right

- has a larger than normal primordial pouch (helps protect organs in a fight + more flexibility)

otacon: ragdoll mix

- he’s not full ragdoll since 1) he’s small 2) he’s shy(er than your average ragdoll)

- i did debate over making him part munchkin for a brief second but i just couldn’t do it to him

big boss: american shorthair? doesn’t really matter

-ok big boss gave me some trouble

-you see 1) solid snake has to be a grey cat while big boss has BROWN cat energy 2) snake being a curl and big boss not

-the solution:

-so we have snake remaining grey and big boss now some kind of tortoiseshell. liquid is orangey yellow and solidus is brown/black (brown in pick but i’m going to make him black i think) . bam

-i don’t care if that’s not how genetics work this is metal gear

ocelot: ocicat

-pretty self explanatory. he’s technically a mix because of joy (see below) but color wise he just looks like an ocicat

the joy: white oriental short(ish?)hair

-ok now we have cats i haven’t drawn out yet

-basically just pic below except one thing

-she has longer/fluffier fur around her neck and belly that hides her scar. which yes i know doesn’t really make sense with how scars work but i ignore it. then during her fight with jack it gets rough and her fur gets cut and torn and her scar is more visible

-i’m not too concerned about her. like pics below probably

volgin: russian blue

-i don’t care about him either . get russian blue’d. does it work personality wise? no not really. he’s grayish no matter what breed tho

the sorrow: ocicat (by necessity)

-i did ocelot before i finished mgs3 so now the sorrow has to be an ocicat to keep it working

Some thoughts on my fandoms that I think could make you rethink your decision if you really want to give me a follow...

First of all, I am a multishipper. I don't really care what anyone ships. I just care about mine.

STAR WARS: I don't think the sequels were that bad. Fandom's treatment of TROS is too overreacting imo, that movie was just trying to pick up the shambles left from TLJ. I've shipped Reylo ever since TFA dropped. I also love FinnRey a lot. Luke and Obi-Wan are my favorite SW characters. Ahsoka is overrated. SWR was awesome and it's one of my favorite animated series. I silenced DinLuke so take what you want out of that.

DC: I didn't like The Batman (2022). I like my Riddler corny and campy. Gotham and Stargirl are my favorite DC series but I also enjoyed most of Smallville. I ship Batman with like everyone but my favorites are with Superman, Wonder Woman, GL (Hal). The only ones I don't really prefer are with Selina and Talia. I love Silver Age stories - BATB was so good. I also love JSA a lot. Love Clois also.

MG: I don't participate in the Kojima circlejerk - I am grateful for him to give us a series like this though. I particularly have a problem with his handling of some stuff, especially female characters in his stories. I love Solid Snake and Raiden the most and will do everything to defend them lol. I also love Liquid Snake and think Solidus is hot. I don't really care that much about Big Boss and the games surrounding him tbh. Otasune is canon also Ocelhira is a lot of fun. BBKaz just for angst purposes, I like it.

Yakuza: Kiryu Kazuma is my mans. I love him with all my heart. I also love Date a lot. I ship Rikiryu the most I guess, but I don't really mind other ships. If you think Kiryu is boring... idk what to tell you.

Sons of Liberty: The Four Stages

Stage One - Tanker -“The perfect Metal Gear Solid sequel” -Solid Snake introduced -Establishing the torch that will soon be passed to Raiden -MGS gun gameplay established -Gurlukovich soldiers introduced -For the story, the stage is set for the rest of the game -At the end, Liquid Snake bluntly states the desire of the developers to move on from Solid Snake -“You’re not cut out for this after all” -Solid Snake “dies”

Stage Two - Big Shell - Shell 1 -The famous surprise: Raiden, the new face of Metal Gear Solid, is introduced -The illusion of The Patriots begins -Gurlukovich soldiers reintroduced -Raiden’s character established: a Solid Snake admiring rookie -The Raiden-Solid Snake relationship begins -Solid Snake to Raiden: “Prove that you can be the protagonist” Raiden follows the MGS gun gameplay established in Stage One -Ends when Raiden obtains the sword from the ninja, under the helipad

Stage Three - Big Shell - Shell 2 -Tenguu soldiers are introduced and replace Gurlukovich soldiers -Raiden’s sword gameplay begins, replacing MGS gun gameplay -Raiden begins his vindication as a character, with his own unique style of gameplay -The cut members of Dead Cell perhaps fought here, with the gameplay for their boss fights based around the sword -Raiden first learns about The Patriots, but they are still mysterious

Stage Three never properly happens in the final game, with elements of it folded into Stage Four instead. As a consequence of this:

-Olga and the Cyborg Ninja now feel largely pointless -Raiden’s sword is introduced during the crashing illusion part of the game, making it now feel dreamlike as opposed to his important character growth -Solid Snake now teaches Raiden how to use the sword, when the sword was supposed to be Raiden’s symbol of independence from him -Solid Snake and Raiden’s relationship now never changes throughout the game, Raiden is continually emphasized as Solid Snake’s inferior -Raiden’s vindication is nonexistent, making him feel weaker than intended -The Tenguu soldiers are now introduced so abruptly and nonsensically that it feels like a joke -The Tenguu soldiers are abruptly introduced during the crashing illusion part of the game, making that experience even stronger but partially distracting the attention away from The Patriots which was the point -The story of the game now feels purposeless, and players now think that that is intentional

ground zeroes is going away forever for crimes of pointlessly graphic depictions of... well this is a bad way to illustrate my point but to keep from going into horribly graphic detail, if ground zeroes was a fic on ao3 it would be tagged positive for every single archive warning. all of them.

16. If you could change anything in the show, what would you change?

see above, that's going away forever, also raiden is getting a divorce and child support and therapy and not having to retraumatize himself just to support his family and instead living the rest of his life peacefully and happily with his little sister and son. (emmerich tech industries i WILL make you real.)
