Bom dia!
Você existe porque há um Deus
Rev.

Somos convidados a crer!

Dele somos, a Ele servimos e adoramos. Obrigado Senhor Jesus!

COMING TO CHRIST
C.H. SPURGEON
Coming to Christ is the very first effect of regeneration. As soon as the soul is awakened, it immediately discovers its lost condition and is horrified at that fact. It then looks for a refuge, and believing Christ to be a suitable one, flies to Him and rests in Him. Where there is not this coming to Christ, it is certain there is still no awakening. Where there is no awakening, the soul is dead in trespasses and sins. Being dead, it cannot enter into the kingdom of heaven. No one can come to me unless the Father who has sent me draws him (John 6:44). Where does this inability lie? First, it does not lie in any physical defect. If moving the body or walking with the feet were of any assistance in coming to Christ, certainly we have the physical power to come to Christ in that sense. I remember hearing a very foolish Antinomian declare that he did not believe that anyone had the power to walk to the house of God unless the Father drew him. That man was just foolish. He could plainly see that as long as a man was alive and had legs, it was as easy for him to walk to the house of God as to the house of Satan. If coming to Christ includes the utterance of a prayer, we have no physical defect in that respect. If a person is not mute, he can say a prayer as easily as he can utter blasphemy. It is as easy for someone to sing one of the songs of Zion as it is to sing a profane and obscene song. There is no lack of physical power in coming to Christ. All that can be needed with regard to bodily strength, man most assuredly has, and any part of salvation that consists in that is totally and entirely in the power of man without any assistance from the Spirit of God.

Galatians 2:16, 21 (KJV) Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. #alkitabiah.org #matikemana.com #alkitabsaja #biblical #fundamental #anabaptists #salvation #diselamatkan #kasihkaruniasaja #imansaja #Kristussaja #solagracia #solafide #solaChristus https://www.instagram.com/p/CkAI7enr1zA/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

"Be careful not to measure your holiness by other peoples sins."
Tumblr media
Martin Luther was a German priest, theologian, author, hymnwriter, professor, and Augustinian friar. He was the seminal figure of the Protestant Reformation.
Cloistered Monk to Reformer: Before becoming a key figure in the Protestant Reformation, Martin Luther was a devout Augustinian monk. He entered the monastery in Erfurt, Germany, against his father's wishes, seeking spiritual fulfillment. It was during this time that he struggled with questions of salvation and the nature of God's grace, ultimately leading to his theological breakthroughs.
Tower Experience: Legend has it that Martin Luther had a pivotal moment in his life known as the "Tower Experience." In 1517, while in a tower at Wittenberg, Luther is said to have had a profound spiritual revelation that sparked his theological insights, eventually leading to the posting of his famous "95 Theses" on the door of the Castle Church.
Translation of the Bible: Martin Luther played a significant role in translating the Bible into German, making it more accessible to the common people. Completed in 1534, Luther's translation of the New Testament and later the Old Testament into German greatly contributed to the standardization and development of the German language.
Marriage to Katharina von Bora: In 1525, Martin Luther married Katharina von Bora, a former nun. This marriage was considered scandalous at the time, as it challenged the celibacy vows associated with monastic life. Luther and Katharina had a happy and supportive marriage, and they had six children together.
Advocacy for Education: Martin Luther was a strong advocate for education. He believed in the importance of educating the masses and worked to establish schools. His commitment to education laid the foundation for the development of a literate and educated society, and his ideas influenced the later establishment of compulsory education in some regions.

#DailyDevotion What Is The Will Of The Father That Makes Jesus Know You?

#DailyDevotion What Is The Will Of The Father That Makes Jesus Know You? Matt. 7:21-23 21Not everyone who calls Me 'Lord, Lord,' will get into the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does what My Father in heaven wants. 22Many will say to Me on that Day, 'Lord, Lord, didn't we prophesy in Your name, drive out demons in Your name, and do many miracles in Your name?' 23Then I will tell them frankly, “I never knew you. Get away from Me, you who are so busy doing wrong.” I think a lot of people get confused by this passage. They think Jesus is talking about doing works when he says, “only the one who does what My Father in heaven wants.” This understanding is taken in opposition to just saying, “Lord, Lord.” That is to say, people say Jesus is speaking against faith in Jesus alone saves you. However, Jesus is saying nothing of the such here. Jesus is not speaking against those who teach faith in Jesus alone saves. To believe that is to simply ignore the context. They don't go to verse 22 which is key. So what is happening in verse 22? People are claiming they should be saved because they prophesied in the name of Jesus. They drove out demons in Jesus' name. They did many miracles in Jesus' name. Seems to me these people are not operating on the faith in Jesus alone principle. They in fact are not just saying, “Lord, Lord” but are in fact doing a lot of things in Jesus' name. Prophesying, exorcisms and miracles seem to be pretty good things most of the time. Yet Jesus says the most damning thing to these people, “I never knew you. Get away from Me, you who are so busy doing wrong.” Can there be any more damning thing than for Jesus to say, “I don't know you”? Who is the one who does what the will of Jesus' Father? Who does Jesus know? Jesus says in Joh 6:40 (ESV) “For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.” In chapter 10 of John Jesus says, “26But you don't believe, because you're not My sheep. 27My sheep listen to My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” Doing the will of the Father is not a matter of lip service or doing things in the LORD's name. It is the Father's will that you believe in Jesus, that is to say, it is to seek to enter the kingdom through faith in Jesus alone. Jesus says in Matt. 7, “13Go through the narrow gate. The gate is wide, and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and many are going that way. 14But the gate is small, and the way is narrow, that leads to life, and only a few are finding it.” You don't get much small and narrow that faith in Jesus alone. Those who have faith in Jesus alone know Jesus and are known by Jesus. They are the ones entering by the narrow gate. Faith in Jesus alone is not always an easy thing. Everything in the world, our reason and our flesh fights against it. Yet, when we are trusting him alone, his works, his righteousness and his promises are we doing the will of the Father. That is not to say, we who trust in Christ Jesus alone for our salvation won't be busy doing things in his name. We simply do not appeal to them on the Last Day. We appeal to Jesus and his promises, his cross and resurrection. Heavenly Father, grant us your Holy Spirit so we may do your will and trust in Jesus Christ alone for our salvation and then be busy loving our neighbor as you have commanded us. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Read the full article

#solafide #byfaithalone If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and will forgive us our sins. 1Jn1:8-9. This, then, is how you should pray: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be thy name..Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our sins." Matt6:9-12. Read: ChristianityOriginal.com/Sinners
