Because not a single one showed any concern for how Bakugo felt, even though it’s well known that they’ve holding extra trainings together and had been interning together, and in general just getting along better.

They all know that even when they weren’t getting along they had been childhood friends who cared a great deal about each other, even when Deku expressed it more/better they should have been able to see that Deku mattered a great deal to Katsuki

By this point in the year there was no excuse for how callous and blasé they treated him, even if they took his anger as real and unwarranted he was still a stab victim who’d just woken up, but they knew that wasn’t the case

(I think it’s very telling that Sero chose to have no part in the chase, despite being one of the best suited for it)

And Iida especially knows how distressed Katsuki was on the actual battlefield about Deku and all he did to try and save Deku, even taking a hit meant for him

When has Katsuki ever, and I mean ever, even come close to saying he wasn’t okay? Especially to an adult who could actually help him? Never, not once. And Jeanest doesn’t even realize, acknowledge, or seem to care.

Everyone just writes him off as a noisy problem, not as a stabbing victim who is losing the person he cares the most about

And frankly I’m the maddest at All Might for it, a single moment of forethought that if Katsuki woke up he deserved and need to know that Deku was okay

But once again All Might has forgotten about Katsuki, doesn’t seem to matter how much he means to Deku AM, like everyone else ever, is just incapable of taking Katsuki into much consideration beyond his attitude problem

Dick is convinced that food always tastes better after a show.

His dad laughs and tells him it’s just because they’re acrobats and they can’t eat much prior to spending a few hours intricately twisting and flipping their bodies through the air over the dizzying roar of the crowds below. Hunger, he tells his son, has always been the best spice. But Dick thinks there’s more to it than that. There’s something about the buzz — the energy following a performance — that makes even the simplest of dishes special.

With so many different cultures and nationalities represented at Haly’s, Dick is used to eating all sorts of things, learns to tell who’s making dinner each night by the aroma of the various herbs and spices wafting out from the tent. There’s a Russian acrobat and a Taiwanese contortionist and a French wire walker and a clown from Cleveland, and the only common factor seems to be their insistence that the nine-year-old could use some more meat on his bones. He helps his mother stir cornmeal porridge and stuff cabbage leaves with ground meat and rice while his dad, grinning, juggles bell peppers and onions and cans of tomato paste in an arc above their heads.

It’s always late at night by the time they gather around the plastic folding tables with full plates, aching muscles, and weary smiles. Snippets from conversations in three or four different languages wash over Dick, and he doesn’t understand everything, but he doesn’t mind it either. The food and laughter warm him from the inside out, and he eats until his belly is full and his eyelids start to grow heavy. His mother pulls him into her lap and lets him curl up against her chest, and he’s lulled to sleep by the hum of the troupe members’ voices, perfectly safe and content.

The night that Dick’s parents fall to their deaths, there’s beef goulash simmering on the cookhouse stove and just the smell is enough to make him sick.

Malik didn’t like Al Mualim’s… ‘cat son’…

He always looked down at everyone… figuratively and literally (the cat man liked to stand on top of high places).

He always looked bored, even when sparring with any of the Assassins.

And he…

He would always push off expensive looking jars and other decorations whenever someone wasn’t staring at him.

It was like he was deliberately making it harder for people to focus.

But Malik knew for a fact that the cat knew how to be stealthy.

Even with his lack of speech (the most sound Malik had ever heard from him was a growl) and the obvious cat ears that could barely be hidden by his hood, he was still considered an Assassin who would go on missions under Al Mualim's direct orders.

No.

He was considered as a Master Assassin.

Malik wasn’t going to say it wasn’t unwarranted.

The cat man did have the skills and the experience to be considered a Master Assassin.

The problem was his attitude.

He knew he was better than all the other Assassins and it showed.

He was arrogant and rude.

Malik didn’t like being in his presence.

And it was clear the cat man did not like being in Malik’s presence as well.

Every time they were near each other, his ears would straighten upward and the blackness of his eyes would grow, nearly overtaking his golden eyes.

He would always watch Malik with unblinking eyes.

Malik didn’t even know if he did something wrong that he had no memories of or if the two of them just… naturally didn’t like each other’s presence.

So he tried to stay away.

It wasn’t like the cat man would stay away from him. He did whatever he wanted to do.

So Malik was the one who had to compromise.

But this…

“Kadar.”

“Yes, brother?”

“Why is Al Mualim’s… ‘son’ on your lap?”

“Uuuuhhh…” Kadar glanced all around the small room in their house where they would eat together, most likely trying to find an excuse to use.

Malik just stared at the cat man currently using his brother’s lap as his pillow.

Those golden eyes staring back at him.

His tail swishing from side to side languidly.

“He… followed me… home?” Kadar answered and Malik wasn’t even sure if he was telling the truth right now.

Whatever the truth was…

It was clear that the cat man was to blame for this.

His brother had always had a soft spot for cats, after all.

Deku's inconditional love for Bakugo is impressive and also admiring. He just loves him entirely and asking for nothing in return. God do I get emotional about it

Same, like that level of "I'll meet you wherever you're at and love you there" is indescribably beautiful, and the way that kind of love and acceptance has the ability to change someone into the best version of themselves can't be overstated and makes me feel so many things

You can't help but frown, glancing at Lyra as you bury your hand in the popcorn bowl, clutching the kernels within your grasp. "I don't make fun of the movies you watch, Lyra. Least you could do is let me enjoy this."

"Oh, I'm not saying you can't enjoy it." Despite the slight boredom in her voice, Lyra's eyes never leave the screen. "It's just a bit too sappy for my taste."

You roll your eyes, popping a kernel in your mouth. "Now I see where your lack of romance stems from."

This gives Lyra pause, her eyes turning from the screen to meet yours. "I can be romantic."

"Sure you can." The words leave you in a snort, your hand patting against her back.

Lyra scowls, fully facing you as she leans forward, a hand creeping up to hold onto your chin. "I can be romantic as shit, sweetheart."

Despite the closeness, you don't waver. "Prove it then."

Lyra hums, tilting her head slightly as her hand glides upwards, her fingers brushing against your cheek. It's soft, delicate the way she strokes you, and a part of you wonders if some entity had taken ahold of your girlfriend because surely, this can't be her.

Lyra presses herself more into your space, her chest brushing against your own as her lips hover above yours, her eyes darting downwards before glancing back up, her pupils large, devouring. The expression she looks at you with is nothing short of love, short of absolute devotion. It takes everything in you to not lose your breath.

"How's this for romantic?" Lyra's voice is low, her breath fanning over your lips.

You swallow, a slight flush spreading across your cheeks. "I stand corrected.."

Lyra hums again, a small smile peeking out before she presses a chaste kiss against your mouth, her hands lingering against your cheek as she pulls away.

That Lucifer can probably get Leviathan banned from going to Japan

Well, anon, I should think that Lucifer could ban Leviathan from going to the human world in general if he really wanted to. Though I don’t know why he’d want to ban Levi from going to Japan specifically? Perhaps because he’s worried about Levi causing trouble due to his obsession with anime?

If I remember correctly, demons need permission to leave the Devildom (without being summoned), so I think it would be a matter of Lucifer just telling Diavolo and Barbatos not to let Levi leave.

So I would say, yes, I agree, since the brothers seem to ask for permission from Lucifer to go anyway. He could just say no. Unless MC was like, you can’t stop me I’m going because the human world is my home and then summoning Levi. But I think that’d be the only way around it.
