You leaned gently towards Scaramouche, planting a brief kiss on his lips before pulling away, a smile with love it spread gently on your face. However, Scaramouche's reaction wasn't what you expected. He furrowed his brow and, in a somewhat gruff tone, remarked: "Did I give you permission to kiss me?" He averted his gaze, seemingly upset. In reality, Scaramouche was trying to conceal the soft shades of red coloring his cheeks. Despite being taken aback by the kiss, he secretly enjoyed the sensation, but his pride wouldn't allow him to openly admit it. He acted as if he were annoyed, turning his head so you wouldn't notice his obvious blushing.

Shartzel Post Canon AU where we all agree that they live in a cottage outside of Baldur’s Gate with Scratch and Peck (The Owlbear). But I’m specifically envisioning a time where Shadowheart has a flower garden that she adores tending to that Lae’zel has very little interest in.

Now picture a scene of Lae’zel trampling over said garden while fighting a goblin, gnoll etc. Which of course leaves Shadowheart sad over the loss of her hardwork. They have a small fight not because Shart blames Lae’zel because she doesn’t understand why Shart is so upset over flowers that serve no true purpose.

Anyway fast forward to Lae’zel completely cleaning up the flower bed and buying seeds that she presents to Shadowheart in the most Lae’zel way possible which is just plopping a bag on the table in front of her and then staring at her silently while also having a tone of “if you don’t like this I’ll stab myself in the foot” about her.
