I don’t know if anyone’s asked this before but… could I ask how you choose colours in your art?

I go with intuition/don’t plan my colors at all so I can rlly answer this well. one thing I always do is use a warm base layer and usually a highly saturated overlay layer as well I feel like those make the colors look more put together ? Otherwise I generally just don’t use too many colors I feel like my drawings can look too messy if I use too many colors/I focus more on lineart

#my approach to colors is way too rough to answer this very general question i think i could answer very specific questions better fkfjkfkf #for instance i use pure black and white veryyyyyy rarely those are too strkng and i tend to keep colors relatively soft/muted #like i never use white for the eyeballs thats too jarrkng so i color pick the skin tone and use a less saturated tone for the eyeballs #or jotaro's color is blue/purple so if i use a deep but lowly saturated blue for his black uniforms #asks #art asks
