Ok one, I would like to thank you for the advice you gave me on my corpse bride au a few months ago you really put things into a new perspective for me and I will forever be grateful to you. So I hope you’ll allow me to share part of what I’ve written to you.

Tony lets out a deep breath, proud of himself for not stuttering too badly. It’s silent for a while as the group contemplates what Tony just offered them. On one hand they’re waiting for the catch. Maybe Tony will rat them out to his father and force them to become child servants. They would never be allowed freedom if that were to happen.

On the other hand, maybe Tony is just doing this because he is truly kind and wants them to be safe. Tony continues to fidget as he sees them silently communicate with one another. It isn’t until Nat nods to them all that Tony finally allows himself to take a breath. Deep breath Tony, deep breath. It doesn't matter what their answer is, you're going to be ok with or without them.

“Well your highness, we would be honored to continue staying in this barn with your permission and we would love to be friends with you.” Tony will deny it until his last breath but the biggest smile forms on his face.

“Wow! I’ve never had friends before.” He slaps his hand over his mouth as he realizes he said it out loud. They’ve been here for a little while and he’s embarrassed himself more than he cares to count. Bucky laughs as he shoots over to Tony pulling him into a hug jostling him a little. Tony tenses up only momentarily before wrapping his arms around Bucky squeezing him slightly.

“Well now you do Tony.” Bucky smiles down at him, arms still wrapped securely around his small frame.

“I too would like to embrace our new friend Tony.” Thor places himself behind Tony and wraps his arms tightly around Bucky allowing Tony to be squished between the two. Tony starts to giggle as everyone comes up and wraps their arms tightly around each other. It’s the first time in forever where Tony truly feels like he has a home and he has people who truly love him.

Wtf this so soffffffffft 😭😭❤️❤️❤️ I love this!

Carrie and Vittoria getting high together:

Carrie: She hardly ever smokes weed so she has absolutely no tolerance and she cannot stop giggling. Someone on TV says the word “bubbles” and she keeps repeating it and laughing hysterically. As she settles into the high the giggles subside and she drapes herself over Vittoria like a wool sweater and is overwhelmed by how much she loves every molecule of her body even though she’s honestly the absolute worst sometimes, and she tenderly cups Vittoria’s face and tells her this very, very earnestly. Vittoria is super out of it but she has a vague sense that she should be offended.

Vittoria: She actually doesn’t smoke much but she wants Carrie to think she’s cool so she keeps taking extra hits and by the time she realizes she’s overdone it it’s too late. She’s staring blankly at the wall trying to remember her own name but Carrie feels like a cozy little teddy bear and she just wants to keep petting her hair (soffffffffft) and let herself absorb into the ether. Then the high really kicks in and Vittoria starts to get dizzy so Carrie wraps her in a blanket and they eat peanut butter from the jar and watch star trek until Sam gets home and admonishes Vittoria for leading her little sister astray. Then Sam gets Vittoria some water and they tuck her into Carrie’s bed and she and Carrie sit in the living room and finish the weed together.

Cloud wasn’t much of a social drinker, mostly just the occasional splash of whisky every once in a while to settle the common drawl of his mind when sleep became more of an issue than he’d like.

Tonight, fortunately, was not one of those nights, taken in by the cool night-time air, stargazing on the rooftops with a certain Miqo’te, and supposedly coaxed with one of Tifa’s legendary Tropical Whirlwind’s. Maru, of course, was a little more liberally oiled than Cloud and it showed mostly with how the other man draped himself, somewhat sloppily over the blond’s lap making no secret that he wished to be petted softly on the head while he did so.

Cloud obliged, of course he did, the day had been long, uneventful and exhausting so it was nice to just sit here and appreciate such a simple instance of mellow intimacy with the man he loved away from the bustle of Seventh Heaven’s many patrons.

The feline purrs there, happily it seemed against Cloud’s thigh, his head turning gently this way and that to direct the blond’s hand to where he liked best, until Maru turns his body completely, facing the taller man and murmuring, oh, so very softly~

“I love you for infinity~”

Cloud delivers a light huff, sounded mostly through his nose, though not without the softening of usually stern bright eyes and an adoring smirk creasing his cheek.

“Oh yeah?” He asks, using the opportunity then to lean back on the roof against his hands. “Infinity is a long time, you sure you can put up with me for that long?” He’s trying to make light of the wonderful sentiment Maru had delivered, and Cloud realises then, that there’s a time and a place for that, now... probably wasn’t it. A single hand finds its way back into the soft white hair, the pads of each finger rubbing affectionate circles into the feline’s scalp.

“I love you too...” he corrects himself, unable to look away from the object of his affection for that moment as Maru, once again, loses himself in the pleasure of those simple touches. “... more than you know.”

@deadhumourist was kind enough to humor me via DMs when I literally said “You know what I need? A hot bath with Whiskey… and she said something about steam and mustaches and I DIED, so she proceeded to torture me with a sequence of DMs that ended up being long enough to be a fic, and SO HOT that I made her post it. I’m not sorry.

I then poked the bear later with this Ask about Whiskey, Javier Pena, Marcus Pike and blowjobs, and it evolved into the Summer 2021 Smut Peddler Battle Royale, which cemented Quica in my heart forever. @furious-rogue-stuff Dangled the chance of drabbles for a 200 follower celebration, and I jumped at it! And ohhhhh, was it ever soft!! I love Frankie, and I love Rogue-Fury, and I loved this immensely.

@littlepadika - So there was an Anonymous ask about Professor Marcus Pike, and I was HOOKED and I tossed a request for Part 2 over, and holy moly, she DELIVERED!! I am now ruined for all men except one Art History Professor Pike. I'm going to be ceasing all of my real-life activities except for re-re-re-reading this fic.

@pumpkin-stars - Erika was so kind to open up requests for her 1 year Tumblr anniversary! I requested running from the Empire with Cassian Andor and OMG I'm yearning SO HARD now. It's really unfair that I'm NOT in a little drainpipe right now making out with Cassian... unfair!

@1800-fight-me - Jo constantly puts up with my shenanigans, including when I ask her to make me cry by writing Jack proposing to me. And then she delivers and I can't say enough nice things about it. Mission accomplished!!

@juletheghoul - Jules hit 800 followers and was kind enough to answer my ask about reading Pablo Neruda to Ezra. She picked the perfect poem, set the perfect scene, and made my heart SWELL so much for a character that I've never requested before. Thank you Jules!! I loved it!

@mandocrasis - Birdie hit 300 followers and offered an option for a 300-word fic! I requested sweet & flirty Frankie Morales stargazing and camping, and now I’m sobbing at the beautiful imagery of snuggling under the stars with Frankie. Sobbing… with joy!

@softpedropascal - Cassandra!! OMG How did you know I'm mouthy and stubborn? LOL... but seriously I sent an Ask about Din falling in love with me in the confines of his little ship, and Cassandra gave me the gift of this beautiful fic! It's even better than I imagined! There's a whole push-pull thing going on, and just a little bit of angst to make the rest of it sweeter. I loved EVERY word!!
